1441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin ETFs on: June 24, 2023, 01:31:14 PM
With renewed interest in bitcoin ETFs, we see a growing flow of institutional and retail investors into the cryptocurrency market. Do you think the race to accumulate bitcoin will begin, and what consequences it may have for the price and stability of this cryptocurrency?
This happened a few years back when Bitcoin ETFs were being first talked about and the media was buzzing with this new term. The forum was filled with threads pertaining to ETFs and how we could profit from them and then eventually the buzz died out.

At present this has been quoted to be the reason behind the bullish movement. I consider this as an opportunity to sell and cash out for the time being if you have a mid-term selling goal.

In the long run, bitcoin is better to buy in whole rather than an ETF. The concept was to bring in no-coiners into the risk field by making them buy ETFs over actual bitcoin. Lets see how this works out this time.
1442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto;Bitcoin on: June 24, 2023, 01:27:40 PM
This is a bitcoin forum and thus the comments will be biased towards bitcoin.

I think the term favorite here is used loosely, because we are here to see bitcoin as a mode of transaction and an asset, not like a team who we are supporting. As per as price changes and bullish trends are concerned, bitcoin has made the largest round and therefore it is the crypto users first choice when asked for a asset class to invest in.

Most altcoins have failed to demonstrate what bitcoin has done in terms of decentralization and censorship-resistance, they also havent brought anything new to make them stand out.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a trap? on: June 23, 2023, 01:05:35 PM
Consider it to be a bear trap, what could you do anyway? Nothing from your side but wait and watch.

Since the buying point has been crossed, we have to see how big the price actually reaches and then decide on further processing of trades. Some people will sell the coins they bought at 26k and cash in the profit before anything else. You might not have that same option so wait it out. We can move either low or high from this level and thus long term predictions are tough at this stage.
1444  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic problem, why is fiat difficult to hold. on: June 23, 2023, 12:28:04 PM
The problem with money at hand is that it ends up being spent very quickly. This happens to everyone out there. You can start avoiding this by keeping recurring deposit where you exhaust your monthly income into in order to avoid it from getting spent.
Keep a limited amount of money at hand for possible expenses which you can derive from last few months expenses.

As soon as you see that your total volume of money at hand has reduced you yourself would cut down on unnecessary stuff - it's a psychological thing and it works to prevent over spending. You need to get that cash away from hand as soon as the monthly salary comes in.

Once those deposits mature you will be surprised at to how much you actually accumulated over time.
1445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason of why Bitcoin is good for trading (for me) on: June 23, 2023, 12:20:22 PM
Trading entails making active judgments based on signals, market research, and constant monitoring. When paired with other technical indicators, candlestick analysis assists traders in making better educated decisions. Trading signals provide particular entry and exit locations for traders. Without dependable trading signals, making decisions becomes difficult, and trading may lack a systematic approach.
Dependable trading signals don't exist, my friend. They are mostly scammers trying to lure a newbie into a tricky situation where they pump and dump their own shitcoins while they go in the opposite direction themselves. Trading is done by observing the market movement and then placing orders which lead to a net profit in the difference of buy and sell. There are signal groups but they are all scam
Remember that your loss here is another person's gain and this trusting someone else's word on trading leads to a loss.

Appreciate the charts and read the indicators but don't go for signals.
1446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is next for Bitcoin? Seems like the only winners are early adopters unless on: June 22, 2023, 05:27:12 AM
Bitcoin's job is not to provide profits for companies. It is a currency and a mode of transaction to change the economy. If you think everyone is a fanboy wishing for it to go up then be happy with that idea and not try to uncover yourself the reason behind it. Most of us here have watched the market for years enough to clear out the price cycles and how the market moves. While the long drawn bear market has it own effect on the traders psyche and the patience to hold through it.

I suggest you learn how Bitcoin works and how it's demand and supply functions. We cannot prove to you that it will be a good investment for the future, so decide on that yourself.
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: June 22, 2023, 05:22:24 AM
A bull run may hit anytime, hoping you experience your first one is good but you must also appreciate the bear run while it's lasts. Both of these time periods have their own significance and it's not that bull run is good and bear run is bad. The bear run reveals hidden lacunae in the shitcoins causing them to reveal their full colours eventually leading to their downfall and weeding out. Bear market is the time to buy at the lows while you sell at the bull market.

So as far as preparation is concerned buy the coins while the bear market persists and sell them at the bull run.
1448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading constitution. on: June 22, 2023, 05:14:52 AM
Trading completely depends on your own skill. The more skill you have, the more likely you are to profit from trading. Most of us traders take trades based only on a guideline rather than using our skills. The guideline is that the price of a coin has gone up a lot and has gone from a lot up to a lot down. But the trading system does not follow this principle at all. A person has to acquire adequate knowledge about trading only then that person becomes fully skilled about trading.
The only skill one needs is buying low and selling high. Keep patience through through the price changes and you will do well in the long run. Trading is a long term game not a one day affair hence patience becomes very important.

This becomes complicated if you are going with altcoins trading and not keeping yourself limited in the number of assets. The altcoins carry higher risk and the risk appetite of every person varies. Traders learn this over time and it's vital to recognise - most traders can handle the stress only if they are doing this well.
1449  Economy / Speculation / Re: This year is dumping ground for bitcoin on: June 21, 2023, 06:20:38 AM
I don't understand people. When things get cheaper, usually people buy more of it. But if Bitcoin's price fall, we should do opposite and stop buying it?
If you cannot see the dip, nobody can help. Let fear and greed be your friend and not your enemy.
It's because people have a lack in faith in Bitcoin enhanced by the cyberpunk nature to it and it's use. Not to mention the number of scams that happened with bitcoin as the mode of transaction,. Thus the habit of holding bitcoin while it drops and buying it when it's performing poorly is lacking among many newbies and financial advisors.

Hence let bitcoin dump, but learn how it works and clear your doubts on Bitcoin as much and not worry about its price.
1450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - how low will we go in 2023? on: June 21, 2023, 06:13:54 AM
What is wrong with technical analysis? At the end of the day, most of the investing and trading principles are laying on it. Yes, the price is going to drop in the next month or two. I have my buy orders set, so we will see. I am not trying to prove anything, just sharing my prognosis.
*It is not financial advice. Wink
Technical analysis is right only 50% of cases. You can use that to make a prediction but not use that as the cornerstone of decision making to buy or sell. We can use your own intuition to do better than that. Most of us should focus on just buying low and continue to do so because the market is not going for a bull shift anytime soon.

Keep buy orders set and keep patience. We have to trade over long term to realise the maximum profit of Bitcoin trades.

1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: June 20, 2023, 11:47:12 AM
I see ETH to become next blessing in disguise, I remember when it was around $100 people condemned it not to go anywhere within the space of a month interval ETH shuck the price in 500% increase and today is about $1800 let's watch and see ETH will create unbreakable records, channel some useless coins you have to ETH and relax in future.
Well I got in at $350 and obviously I am in profit at present, but that was several years ago.

I would not suggest people to go all in, but buying it can be profitable for the next bull run. For the last 1y timeline, ETH has been going from 1k to 1.7k USD and thus I would call that as a steady growth over time. I dont expect to see very low prices to buy at so, it should be bought in fractions over a period of time to offset the loss from the price rise while buying.

Right now a bulk purchase of ETH would more likely be a panic buy/buying at the high.
1453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to spot a scammers on trading as a newcomer on: June 20, 2023, 10:18:03 AM
These should be a newbies go to guide for detecting scammers on telegram or other social media because the maximum cases of such scams are running there and one would be wise to catch the scent of greed that these scammers produce in order to attract a victim.

To be safe, I follow some rules like something too good to be true is mostly false and that the person saying that they know full-proof methods to make money/pick trades/pick sports bets is a scammer as well.

Honestly, the list keeps on growing as scammers adopt newer tactics but the modus usually remains to tickling the victim's psyche in order to get their attention, ignore that and you should be safe.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Passive Income on: June 20, 2023, 10:09:16 AM
(snip)...but I need to be Sure where to put my money cuz there are many platforms that just bankrupt and users never get their money back
I would remind you the same thing. These platforms dont work as they say they would. Any sort of "passive income" generation ends up with your coins vanishing in thin air or the setup getting hacked and your coins are in limbo.

I do suggest investing in casino bankroll, which is different from gambling your money, there have been some yield farming projects but most of them are only shitcoins and the time to recover your capital is huge. You would be better off putting your money in bitcoin for long term or just in a fiat bank deposit.

You cant be sure that the platform would not go bankrupt. Only you can never go bankrupt if you are keeping bitcoin's stored.
1455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: June 19, 2023, 02:18:53 PM
trading is not an investment but a little kind of it tho, because your time spent on trying to make money trading is you investing your whole mindset over it. investment doesn't have to do with much of your time, just your research is ok, in the side of trading u have to analyse the market for you not to trade in the opposite direction of the market if not you are doomed. trading has a lot hommie if you can face it then you can go for it.
It is an investment if you think of it to be. Some people consider gambling as an investment too and I would not go and say that they are wrong. It only depends on how you manage the risk and the profits.

You can be learning how to trade and practice it on paper, then step on the real market and invest your available bitcoin or fiat for something else. How long or short you go, all will define your trading nature.

Many members of this forum accumulate bitcoin for long term holding. In terms of trading they have one or multiple buy orders executed - how they recover that capital is how the investment is going to be.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before investing on meme coin or shitcoins consider this. on: June 19, 2023, 02:15:15 PM
Nothing wrong with throwing a couple of dollars into something like that, indeed. You just have to be prepared for the outcome, you may not get anything at all and even lose what you invested. That's why I don't understand how can people invest hundreds and thousands of dollars in something like that.
A couple of dollars and what? like 6x times, make it twelve dollars. You would be happy with that? Truly not, you would be looking to turn 1000$ to 6000$ and thus you should not raise the topic of a "couple" of dollars more like a couple of grands. Roll Eyes

This ends up being a gamble if you weigh in the risks of altcoin trading and their past behavior in the market not being up to the mark or showing severe volatility. The bitcoin bet is a safer one but I guess the nature of traders is to take risks and they therefore do not go with the long term safer asset.

You could go around throwing a few dollars at every coin out there, but the net result will be that the exchange fees will eat up your profits. Tongue
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 19, 2023, 02:09:49 PM
It’s better to choose casinos which don’t ask for KYC. Providing personal information for many people is still acceptable in order to get the profits, but the main problem arrives when the data is leaked or shared or just sold to other parties. This is the main reason for which many people hate this KYC thing. Moreover no site has ever shared publicly, how they verify a person’s KYC details and confirms it. So yes we are helpless here.
A lot of gambling sites initially start as non-KYC but within a year or two they change their stance. It leads to a public outcry but the memory of the public is short term and they move on.

Fact is that there many gamblers out there who do not mind giving their KYC to these sites either. So for the sites this is a safer group to cater to instead of those who might resist to give a KYC.

I feel that if you are concerned about KYC and identity theft and want to gamble regularly, you need to reach a middle ground. Keep changing the site every few years because new ones are always popping up or just accept and move on from gambling life, which is next to impossible for most of my fellow members.
1458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can One's Religion Compel A Compulsive Gambler To Quit Gambling on: June 17, 2023, 07:30:03 AM
Religion is but a doctrine to keep people on the right track with said punishments if they sway from that track - nothing more.

The final decision to commit a crime or do something un-religious depends on the person itself and their morals. I dont mean that gambling is an immoral thing to do, as long as it is in moderation, it can be fun.

Just converting to another religion is nothing more than a facade done for other reasons, it does not change the person. An addicted gambler will remain an addict unless they seek professional help.
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I have 1BTC So how did I use to invest in different Coins on: June 17, 2023, 07:25:18 AM
Any suggestion from your side which is good for long term
Its bitcoin, hands down. Stretch it a little more and you can include ETH too. Increase the risk even more you can get the rest of the top altcoins as well. To play it safe, keep it limited to bitcoin and you can sleep tight.

In any case, if you find bitcoin too pricy to buy, dont buy 1BTC in whole, we have satoshis for that - buy the fractions and continue accumulating.

Judging by your account its not a new account but you have posting gaps, I assume you got this account from someone else selling it. I wonder what you have been doing all this while because this is a fairly simple question.
1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any airdrop hunters here need some leads on: June 16, 2023, 07:17:27 AM
The best advice I can give, is to work on your account posting habits and quality and eventually earn enough merits to rank up to join a bitcoin paying signature campaign. Using the earning from that you can buy any coin you want or pay for your expenses if your local laws allow it. The bitcoin paying campaigns are like the holy grail of campaigns in this forum, the best side hustles you can get.

If you have any other skills use them to provide services, dont run after aidrops, they are not worth your time which I consider is the most precious thing at hand.
