FOMO is one of the big enemy that needs to be conquered if you want to succeed in trading and investing. alot of people usually neglect investing at the early stage but only wake up to join the train when its halfway or near the destination. the oppression from friends and mates is also one of the things that make people fomo. thats why its always important to keep your emotions under control. dont be oppressed by anyones profit, you will make your own if you do the right thing. i read comments from lots of traders that are lamenting of their loss because of fomoing to buy the top. one important thing to always remember is that there are alot of opportunity, all you have to do is to find them early and buy into them.

I think that trading should not be seen as a competition, it is very difficult to reach the level of a whale, for some traders when they lose they do not say it, because they fear that they may see them as a failure, but the losses are normal, what must be done is Trying that the gains are greater than the losses is not a reason for shame.

95% of traders lose, technical analyzes fall, are invalidated and sometimes do not work, according to Malkiel Burton 85% of technical analysts fail, and fundamental analysts likewise, there must be a balance between both analyzes. I think that the main driver of loss for traders is because they believe that they will become millionaires quickly and that thinking is what leads them to failure, if traders saw trading as a business, just like traditional business traders do, Traditional business profits are seen at 3 years, with hard work, the difference with trading is that the profit can be seen quickly.
14443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining Alternative Countries on: April 22, 2021, 04:09:51 PM
Well, in the exercise of mining, the US already presents new options, China, due to the problems that it may present, have sought more options for mining, some have thought that even clean energy can be given, it is in several projects.

Already in the US it handles up to a hash of 10.10hash per second, which is 7.63% global:

Quote
Seeing a North American pool in the top five is quite refreshing considering that Chinese pools have been ruling the roost since forever. F2Pool, the very first Bitcoin mining pool launched in second place, behind only Bitmain's Antpool. ViaBTC and BTC.com, two other Chinese pools, come in fourth and fifth places, respectively.

China is responsible for roughly 65 percent of the global hashrate because of its cheap energy. However, utilizing dirty coal mines in Xinjiang—which reportedly rely on forced labor—for churning out new coins does not bode well for the cryptocurrency's carbon footprint.

Although in North America electricity costs are higher, they represent one of the best options.
14444  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: April 22, 2021, 03:37:44 PM
Crypto currency round the world has come to stay, to foster growth in business and build trust among its users but most world leaders are head bent on tackling bitcoin by making difficult policies to affect its stability, but little do they know that this policies of theirs make bitcoin to become more influential among other crypto ,making it scarce and the most sought after crypto currency thereby making the few people that have it to hod and inflate the price to which ever amount they wish to sale on peer to peer bases...what do you think

In the particular case of Venezuela, things are different, although the activity of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin is not regulated, there is a certain regulation in the mining of Bitcoin, since it makes them register in SUNACRIP (National Superintendency of Criptoactivos and Related Activities) to have a control data and those who do not, are in danger of suffering certain threats and intimidation by the State security forces. So far the trading activity is not regulated, the government manages Bitcoin because it is the only way to evade the different blocks that exist with respect to the economy with other countries.

It is normal for governments to try to take control, although for the business model that Bitcoin implements it turns out to be favorable for the government of Venezuela, which has a totally uncontrollable economy and a regulation for those who operate, it does not apply, in this case Venezuela is to be a tax haven for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, because their local currency is really worth nothing, that is why this type of exit is well seen so far.
14445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Xrp will pass ath ? on: April 22, 2021, 03:06:07 PM
There is a great support at 1.21usd, after the bitcoin suffered a fall or a correction the price of XRP also fell in price, it is normal that it happened, it fell 28%, but Bitcoin has fallen 17% respectively after having reached a new ATH, if we see the correlation between both coins XRP has managed to overcome it, it is a slight correction, but that the bulls are looking for the best time to push the price again. I think right now it is better to wait and buy, because the moment Bitcoin takes its uptrend, XRP will not be left behind and only those who have bought low will be able to enjoy the gains and benefits.

Looking ahead, if the sellers break the support at $1.29, the first support beneath lies at $1.25 (Feb 2018 highs). This is followed by $1.12 (.5 Fib), $1.00, and $0.95 (.618 Fib).

On the other side, the first resistance lies at $1.40. This is followed by $1.50, $1.77 (1.272 Fib Extension), and $1.98 (2021 highs).

It is a bit difficult to make an accurate prediction, but with the Bitcoin market being so uncertain, any analysis can be invalidated by any important movement of the bitcoin.

Your situation is really difficult, I know that as a parent you do whatever it takes for the good of your child, I understand that part, but at least what investment do you have and how much have you lost? Right now the market in general has a slight correction, but it can continue to fall even more, if you are looking for financial advice you have to take into account its possibilities, what I can advise you is that you take as a preventive measure extract half of the investment so that you do not leave the baby without food, and the other 50% goes to your investment or trade, without despair.
14447  Economy / Economics / Re: The Country Cryptocurrency vs Bitcoin on: April 22, 2021, 02:31:13 PM
Bitcoin continues to represent the best way to operate in every sense, such is the case for China where China's cryptocurrency stablecoin, the Digital Yuan can affect Macau's casino business.

Since the Chinese Yuan has been implemented, transactions and negotiations in casinos have decreased by 60%, this due to the efforts of the government to maintain strict control, that is why the Digital Yuan is fully traceable, which, is not pleasant for casino players, this represents a big problem for the industry, now it is best to operate with currencies that are more commercial, such as bitcoin that has a different approach, despite the fact that casino activity is legal in the country when It is controlled by the government, it is not good at all, that is why Bitcoin will represent the best option.

Quote
China’s digital yuan has already been piloted in multiple regions and cities, including Suzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Xiong’an, and Macau, too, looks set to implement the digital currency agenda. Chief executive Ho Iat Seng told the region’s legislators that Macau should “follow the pace” set by the mainland, and the Macau Monetary Authority is reportedly amending its legal framework to accommodate the digital yuan in cooperation with China’s central bank.

14448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $1?$10?$100?What will the price of $Doge be? on: April 22, 2021, 02:04:17 PM
Doge has been in the focus of many people, especially they have been bitten by the investment bug since at any time Elon Musk with a single tweet can give a good bullish rally or an impressive pump, many already see Doge as a good investment Because its market capitalization has grown a lot, I was struck by the opinion of this particular article when it says:

Quote
Eric Berman, senior legal editor, U.S. finance at Thomson Reuters, commented to Cointelegraph regarding Dogecoin’s retail demand: “The sentiment seems to be: Bitcoin is for the wealthy, Ethereum for the middle class, and Dogecoin is for the people.”

Even Doge's market capitalization has surpassed that of Barclays and Ford, aside from being paid in DOGE for the NBA Dallas Mavericks franchises owned by Mark Cuban, all of this is propelling the coin to emerge more, I guess the former The objective will be to reach 1usd, it is very possible, but it is all a matter of time, bitcoin is currently in correction, they may be waiting for a recovery so that Doge takes more strength.

14449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum & Bitcoin on: April 22, 2021, 01:41:03 PM
At the moment the price of Bitcoin is still in correction, it is normal, some analysts expect that it can reach a maximum correction price of $43k- $46k, according to Peter Brandt he predicts that it may reach a 35% correction, however ETH is shining brighter due to the Berlin Hard Fork and the new solutions to fix the problem of the high Fees, the price has risen to almost 2595 USD approximately, as this article shows:

Quote
“The previous drop in Ethereum market was in tandem with the Bitcoin hash rate drop due to the Xinjiang blackout over the weekend,” he explained. “However, with the new momentum Ethereum is gathering, the coin is poised to set a new high at $3,000 before the end of April.”
Source:https://bitcoinist.com/ethereum-supply-plunges-as-prices-leave-orbit-to-aths/

If the price of Bitcoin recovers at least close to ATH, it is almost certain that ETH rises to $3000, if there is new ATH it would be ideal.

14452  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: (Noticia) ``Ciudad Bitcoin´´ en Venezuela on: April 22, 2021, 05:50:39 AM
14453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does that mean trading is more popular than social media now? on: April 22, 2021, 05:26:09 AM
I think that trading is not above social networks yet, there is a long way to go for adoption, however, social networks may be the engine for trading and it is looking into the world for the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency market. Also what the world is experiencing is not easy, because the pandemic has forced many people to be surfing the internet and when they see Bitcoin in the news they begin to be interested, this draws attention and the interest in generating money may increase and reach a great consensus that produces more emotions in people, especially those who do not know much about Bitcoin and want to enter the market.

And if they see news from JP Morgan advising to buy bitcoin, the impact is greater, since they think that if millionaires invest it is because it will generate a lot of money. Youtube is very popular, now tik tok and among others they also resonate, but before getting into social networks, people seek their comfort and convenience comes faster with money, and bitcoin represents money.
14454  Economy / Economics / Re: How is it supposed to be alt coin season after bitcoin falls? on: April 22, 2021, 05:05:49 AM
Here you have to know the fundamentals, if Bitcoin rises in price the altcoins remain somewhat stagnant, some fall in price, if there is confirmation that the Bitcoin market is in an uptrend, the altcoins follow the same direction as bitcoin, this pattern is the which was seen in 2017 and I think that for a season of altcoins to repeat itself, bitcoin must be in an uptrend, otherwise it will not open, this because all altcoins depend directly on Bitcoin and those altcoins that do not follow the sense of Bitcoin It is because it survives from the pump and the dump.

There can be no altcoin season if Bitcoin is in a downtrend, investors are simply not going to trust a market where altcoins bleed due to the bearish effect of Bitcoin, it is something that is not possible. I know that the patterns in the markets sometimes repeat themselves, but this is not a pattern, it is like knowing how the Bitcoin market and the altcoin market work. 2017 was a year that taught many how the crypto market moves and I think it still moves that way with regards to altcoins and the altcoin season.
14455  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low could Bitcoin go this time? after all good news is out on: April 22, 2021, 04:44:17 AM
I just read some articles, and Peter Brandt believes that it may go down even more, but for him it does not represent a cause for alarm, he believes that bitcoin can go down up to 35% starting from its last ATH, but he is very optimistic, nevertheless, In another article you can see that the forecast for the technical analyst shows a more bearish movement in the short term:

Quote
Technical indicators:

Hourly MACD – The MACD is slowly gaining pace in the bearish zone.

Hourly RSI (Relative Strength Index) – The RSI for BTC/USD is now below the 50 level.

Major Support Levels – $54,000, followed by $53,500.

Major Resistance Levels – $55,050, $55,500 and $56,500.

Source: https://www.newsbtc.com/analysis/btc/bitcoin-stuck-in-range-55k/

This is in the short term, however everything can change depending on what is presented, any important movement can invalidate any analysis, it is a time of great uncertainty in the market.

14456  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 22, 2021, 04:17:08 AM
I think that for now in the short term it is very possible that I could lower the price a little more, because many are waiting to buy cheaper, but the $ 64k means that many are investing massively because it is very possible that at any moment that brand and is put at more than $ 90k, for now the correction is minimal with respect to the ATH, but many expect that this year it will reach $ 100k, Mark Cuban thinks that in August it will reach that mark.

Regardless though, I think $100k is achievable with the way the market moves or at least the sentiments that drive this bullish cycle. Retail and institutions are going to invest their money, so I wouldn't be surprised to see $64k or even higher next month. I'm not really sure about Cuban's prediction though, as far as I can remember, he is anti-bitcoin so I wouldn't take his word seriously and I don't consider him experts. But for us here in the community, we always believed that $100k can be realised.
You are right in the statement, although he has already retracted but what I think is really debatable, although I really like the PlanB model of S2F, since the model has a lot of verification in the technical and in fundamental analysis, in addition to the trend that The sample is the most appropriate to reality, and of course, as it expires, it makes it much more credible.

There are many ways that the market can react, however the bitcoin market has had a correction of almost 17% and some believe that it can correct even more to $46k, however I think that the institutional investment will not allow the price to fall that much, at least $ 50k for them must cause some fear because the investment they have made in BTC is quite considerable, I don't think they invested to just earn a little, at least $ 100k they must want to see this year. Peter Brandt recently said about the BTC market the following:

Quote
“The more people put the laser eyes, you know at least the market’s going to get choppy for a while and stop going straight up… When people start pounding their chest in public, ‘I own Bitcoin. I own Bitcoin. Look at me. I have laser eyes.’ That’s always going to be a sign that the market is at least going to take a rest.”

Thank you very much, if I already see that the requirement is to complete the KYC, I think it is excellent that the site has its own currency, with that it is easier to bet, when it comes to crypto everyone seeks to make a withdrawal in another currency, LTC I see that it is available Also, this to avoid high fees.

The KYC is mandatory because of chargebacks from players that deposited with fiat, withdrew in crypto then filed chargebacks.

Both LTC and BCH have quite low fees so if you're planning to withdraw in those currencies, then I hope that wouldn't be an issue for you :p

Not at all, no problem, in fact their rates are very acceptable, of course KYC is to avoid a possible money laundering through cryptocurrencies and the casino, it seems to me a protection measure, you have thought about having to integrate ADA , BNB? They are very popular currencies among casinos and many players prefer them. Thank you very much for your attention and support.

14458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it bearish season yet? on: April 22, 2021, 03:29:34 AM
Currently there is a slight correction in the market, however one of the most named in the market as Peter Brandt believes that this correction is not a cause for concern, however 17% is considerable if seen from another point of view, but for the veteran it is not.

In this article he shows some facts:

Quote
Brandt’s draw down figures put the current correction closer to 20% which he claims is “very mild historically”. In an April 20 tweet he said there is a strong history of Bitcoin bull trends to test the 18 week moving average which was at $46,615 at the time. This would entail a much larger correction of around 28%.

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/peter-brandt-laser-eyes-to-blame-for-bitcoin-correction-but-it-s-very-mild-anyway

According to Brandt, the correction according to the history shown may be around 35%, which means that the market may fall back to $46k, it is probable and it is a scenario that can occur. It's all about waiting and seeing how the market continues to develop.

Hello after almost a year I am back, I tried again and I received the verification email successfully, in fact I won the 50O BUX, I wanted to know if the BUX when they accumulate enough can be changed. Does BUX represent the casino token? If so, what exchanges is it traded on? I see that the platform has a lot of movement, there are active players.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome back!

BUX is not a token, but rather the on-site currency. You will be able to cashout in skins/ crypto (trusted/ KYC-verified) as long as there are no wager requirements.

You can confirm if its present by clicking on your profile picture @ top-right.
