14501  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: September 02, 2017, 09:12:37 AM
It is an awesome thought to have Bitcoin in the marketplace but i dont think we will realistically see this anytime in the near future

We will see it in the stores near us. We just have to wait for the right time for it as bitcoin still doesn't have a wide adoption for stores but for individual users there's a lot, we are so many in the market. In encouraging them, if explaining it for a couple of times are not enough then let them see the adoption increase of bitcoin. Let them see the price to keep on increasing so that they will be encouraged alone.
14502  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: September 02, 2017, 08:38:27 AM

Experienced investors do not panic because they know they can lose a lot of money because of their emotions. At first I lost money in this way and now I feel calm about panic.

Patience is they key so that you won't be doing the same mistake like panic selling. I've been with this attitude all of the sudden and even until now. It's not totally panic selling but needs are into our investments in bitcoin. When we have to make sure that we need to have cash, I'm going to sell. Just be focus for long term plans in crypto so that you won't panic sell.
14503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dear Satoshi Nakamoto on: September 02, 2017, 08:27:18 AM
is it possible satoshi nakamoto is on this forum? I was very curious about him. if only he was in this forum I want to greet him Grin

Yes his been here before but became inactive for a lot of years now. This is his profile https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3 so he's been inactive since 2010. I don't know on where he is now, but for sure he is just speculating his creation and seeing people investing to his creation blockchain and bitcoin. Though he's not been here for a while, I also want to say thanks to him.
14504  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: September 02, 2017, 08:19:20 AM
Bitcoin is growing rapidly and it is desirable to keep it as long as possible so as not to miss out on huge profits, but this does not mean that you need to sit in poverty if the usual money runs out.

We had to sell in able to get some profit but you've got to put some bitcoins on your cold storage and don't use it for a very long time. See to it that you have a long term investment in bitcoin and that is by just holding it like that. I preferably to keep 50% of my bitcoin stash and will do the rest depending on my purpose if there's a need to do it so, I will keep on using then for my other needs.
14505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: September 02, 2017, 08:07:18 AM
Man I had 50 litecoin on a chinese exchange and wasted it on futures. If I had just hodled, could have had over $4,000

Don't feel sorry about it if you'd done it for a purpose. I myself had some of these together with my bitcoins but I sold most of them when the price was at dip because it's a very needy situation, well I always hope that there's a lot of it in my pocket but I would say that LTC has got something and it's going to pump very soon, we just have to hold it like how we are holding our bitcoins.
14506  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 02, 2017, 07:56:27 AM
Getting a steady income is not easy, basically we must have a sense of routine or discipline and good knowledge, the core must have more skills to achieve a steady income. As in bitcoin, earning bitcoin to be steady income requires special skill in any ways to earn Bitcoin or one of way to earn bitcoin.

It's not easy if you don't know what you will do, but if you have set of skills, you are employed well then why would you say it's not easy? What's hard? To have a good paying steady income, depending on your effort, you can have a steady income but your profit isn't too high but that's steady and you can depend with it. But you need to invest to get a steady income while even your at home.
14507  Economy / Services / Re: HIGH paying signature campaign on: September 02, 2017, 07:19:32 AM
I need a post on my thread and i'll pay like 0.15$/post worth of cryptocurrencies
So you are trying to make an offer and you are describing your offer as high paying $0.15 per post, sorry to tell you there are even higher rates that are paying per post. Why not try to edit your OP and put all the details needed, dont cut the information that you are posting.

Well I guess if he pays a newbie 15 cents per post it's better than the 0 cents that the newbie can get from a sit campaign. Regardless I don't know if this is allowed but I don't think it is allowed (to be paying one person to post in a certain section). Also that person may end up being flagged as a spammer if they try to post a lot to make money so your account could also be flagged too.

Yeah it's better to have nothing but he's using misleading words of saying that "high paying". This isn't allowed in the forum, if you are aware of the rules that most of the campaign's removed the rule of "posting 1 in ann thread." It's not about wearing a signature or sort of codes for his thread link but he directly say that he want someone to post on his thread. Kindly be guided by this rule https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2103690.0 or this
but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.
14508  Economy / Speculation / Re: First Time Btc hits 4800 USD! on: September 02, 2017, 07:08:19 AM
This is the first time btc went to 4800 usd!!
ow, what a movement!
I really feel happy..

So, we can expect more ☺☺😊😊

This is on craze now bitcoin get's pumping and pumping recently I checked the price an hour ago and it went back to $4,600 and now it was on $4,730. Less than 1 hour the price pumped + $100. I'm expecting some more I won't be setting a limit to myself from now on. As I think this way, "when the price reaches X I'll sell" but this method is wrong for me now as the price get buffed too much.
14509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: September 02, 2017, 06:59:52 AM
trading is too boring to be fun Sad

Too boring if you keep on failing but if you are interested and you are seeing yourself at the top with trading, you'll get boring on it. Well I had to admit too that it is happening to me, there are times that I get bored but I won't stop just because of it. Depending on my mood, I get bored but that is happening for a short amount of time and in the end I'll keep on moving and relying with it.
14510  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: September 02, 2017, 06:49:32 AM
I will say you your question is very hard. Any marketer cannot tell you properly. So you can try your best and you will success in your internet marketing. All the best.

Being success in internet marketing takes time and you will going to get through with so many trials and hardships before getting that success. And in these days we've got a good and easy way to market, social medias are there to help us with our transactions so that's a very easy thing and we don't have to put too much effort. We can just post our products, put some caption and were done.
14511  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN PRICE NEVER GO DOWN on: September 01, 2017, 10:08:13 PM
Bitcoin prices always go up every day, and the price can not be stopped, if always like this, when bitcoin prices will go down?
Or will not the bitcoin price go down?
Try to check charts, you are missing the times that bitcoin is making some backward movement in its price. If you want to know when bitcoin price will go down, no one knows but there's an indication of it. When most of the whales starting to cash out. Bitcoin price will be down for sometime but its rise is continuous.

We want to launch a signature campaign but are new here, so would like to know what the best practices are (escrow, where to find one, process etc) so if anyone could help or point us in the right direction that would be great! Until then, information about us below!

Hello bitzure,
Here are some of the people that you can consider that you won't be having any problem at all. They are experienced in handling a campaign and also a trusted escrow.
Yahoo - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=355846
Lutpin - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=520313
Edwardard - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=710241
Darkstar - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=507936

Ah that is awesome, didn't realize there was so many. Will give Yahoo a pm first and inquire with the rest also. Thanks for the help everyone!

Yep they are actually few and as other did said, you don't need to have an escrow anymore if any of them will be running your campaign. Because they can make your signature campaign great, no competition but it's still the decision will be coming from you. Good luck to your upcoming signature campaign.

14515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RISE here to stay on: September 01, 2017, 11:04:37 AM
As of last night RISE seems to be going through the roof, 240+ % and climbing. Any explanation for this sudden rise in price? And do you think it will sustain these levels in the future?

No other reason, pump and dump. I also noticed this sudden pump of RISE.

Thanks for your opinions guys and for explaining this from different perspectives.  Smiley
In deed the price dropped very quickly after the pump, but seems to be stable for now at 0,40USD.

If it will be stable at that rate for 1 month then expect that there will be another pump very soon.
14516  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: September 01, 2017, 10:53:42 AM
The development of bitcoin is very rapid, especially accompanied by soaring prices whose value is currently very high. I think in the next 5 years bitcoin can be stable and can be maintained.

The price increase is the one that's rapid and the adoption is very quick too. You know what, bitcoin has been stable when it entered the price of $1,000 and we never saw it again to go beyond that price. But to expect higher price, it's very possible that bitcoin can reach those big men are predicting that are published in every article, just don't believe those FUD articles.
14517  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why transactions takes so long? on: September 01, 2017, 10:40:30 AM
I don't know much about how BTC or ETH works, but why all cryptocurrencies takes so long to confirm a transaction. I think even 30s is too long, why cant it be instant like PayPal?

Congestion, that's why we are having a very long confirmation for our transactions. I'll give you a very easy example, if you are in the drive-thru of Mcdonalds and there are 5 people in-line, so you have to wait for a longer time right? And miners are giving those transactions priority that has higher fees. With PayPal, it's an instant, it also happens when you send bitcoin from the same web wallet bitcoin address.
14518  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: September 01, 2017, 10:16:43 AM
Checking out my trades in poloniex, I'm really glad that btc price is now rising - but still I'm waiting for my trade to hit the roof ~
I hope that btc continue to rise in the succeeding months and more people will start investing.

It is increasing recently and the price now was impressive as it reaches $4,610 and breaks $4,500. We are now heading to see the price of bitcoin at $5,000. And this can happen before and after November as there is another thing that is about to happen and many are saying that it will going to be the real test for bitcoin.

I know right? Though my early prediction of reaching the $5,000 mark by the end of this month, which is today, didn't happen I'm still happy about the increase. I just hope that I could celebrate this trend with my friends. Unfortunately they don't have the time to understand btc because they're busy making a living from their day job.

All of us here are surely happy with the increase and possibility of $5,000 will be seen for the next weeks to come. Just forget your friends if they don't have to learn more about crypto I did went on the same situation that I'm carried over by my feeling and got excited too much but I was disappointed with those people that I want to share this great thing that can help them for real.
14519  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Escrow Guide on: September 01, 2017, 10:06:26 AM
Hey Everyone,

Just wondering since I've never escrowed before I would like/need to in the future. Is there a guide on how to escrow somewhere around here?

Thanks

Hey there adamantasaurus, most of the comments here are right. And escrow is basically just a guy that will secure your funds together with other party that you'll transact. In this case that for sure you'll be using it in the future, always go to the recommended people and has a good reputation here in forum. Don't just go with the people that wants to be your escrow without trading history.
14520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does an ICO team even matter? on: September 01, 2017, 09:42:47 AM
I've always wondered if the ICO team even matters.

Yes it does matter, experience, trust and background for running an ICO, management and development.

If an ICO raises funds, could they not just hire a qualified team?

The team itself will manage it and it's up to them if they'll hire new members.

I've been around since before people would assign their names to a project so maybe I'm not giving an ICO team the respect they deserve.

Only to those ICO's that doesn't want to contribute in the crypto economy.
