14561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price recovering slowly on: May 08, 2018, 03:55:04 AM
Slowly? During the past 4 weeks, the exchange rates (versus the United States Dollar) has increased by more than 100%. I wouldn't call this rise as slow. In the stock market, you may need to wait for 5 to 10 years to get that sort of returns (i.e if everything goes right).
14562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: May 08, 2018, 03:53:04 AM
Should we invest in altcoins?and why?which is better altcoins or equity shares?

There are more than 10,000 altcoins and tokens circulating right now, and therefore you need to be a bit more specific. If you want to invest in promising alts such as Cardano, NEO and Ethereum then that plan may be better than investing in the stock market.
14563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and too many participants on: May 08, 2018, 02:15:25 AM
Hello community!
What do you think about popularity of the bounty campaigns? I see many new participants joining bounty campaigns, especially Twitter and Facebook. With more and more new participants, we will earn less and less rewards, also many of potential buyers would rather join bounty campaign than invest to ICO - again less rewards for bounty participants.
I hope that we will see some regulations here and bounty campaigns be more strict in rules and they will choose only the best participants.
So, what is your opinion, guys?

One option would be to restrict the bounty participants to Senior Members and higher up. But then, it will affect the growth in user-base for the crypto-currencies. But for starters, we could ban the Newbies and Junior Members from participating in the bounties.
14564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most possible Ethereum competitor? on: May 08, 2018, 02:12:30 AM
My prediction is that Cardano (ADA) will replace Ethereum in the long-run. There is a lot of competition from NEO as well, but its technology is much weaker than that of ADA. Also, the rate of growth in the user-base is higher for Cardano when compared to NEO.
14565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 15000 in this year. on: May 08, 2018, 01:52:29 AM
It is plausible but I think 15k is too much.

When gold can have a market cap of more than $7 trillion, then it is theoretically possible for Ethereum to have a market cap of $1.5 trillion. But the big question is how much time it is going to take. I don't think that it will happen in 2018.
14566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do I need to sell all alts? on: May 08, 2018, 01:50:37 AM
Good day,
Do you think that BTC is going to reach 20k soon?
If yes do I need to sell all alts and wait for rising BTC?
What to do now ? I am confused!!!!

Selling the alts may be a bad idea. Because from what I have seen, the alt prices normally rise faster than that of BTC, when there is a spike in the exchange rates. On the other hand, when there is a market crash, the alts fall faster than Bitcoin.
14567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: we do same task in signature but diff stake are rewarded on: May 08, 2018, 01:46:30 AM
As the rank goes up, you will be able to display bigger signatures. That is why the stakes are higher for Senior Members and the Hero members, when compared to the Newbies and Junior Members. Normally, the signatures campaign excludes newbies. But if some campaign includes them, they should not complain about it irrespective of the rewards.
14568  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: May 07, 2018, 01:54:19 AM
high price of homes

That's a problem everywhere. In Indian cities such as Mumbai, homes have become so expensive that middle-class individuals are buying houses in the distant outskirts and then commuting two hours for one-way journey to reach their offices. They normally leave their houses at 7 am, and will be back by around 9 pm.
14569  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kashmir !! Pakistan Vs India ! on: May 07, 2018, 01:50:39 AM
Kashmir is like 70% Muslim and 30% Hindu (it had Hindu majority until few hundred years ago). So I would suggest that Kashmir should be made a part of India. Because if it becomes a part of Pakistan then the Hindu minority will be exterminated. India is already having the 3rd largest Muslim population in the world, and so there should not be any new issues.
14570  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bible downloads banned in China on: May 07, 2018, 01:47:40 AM
Chinese still behave like communist and is not surprise if Bible download is banned. Freedom and human right somehow seem limited in China and Budhism and other religions have taken root over there, they don't want their people to be converted ,hence all these ban .

Native religions such as Buddhism and Taoism doesn't face any restrictions in China. The authorities are concerned mainly with the spread of Islam and Christianity, because these two religions have a history of interfering in the governance.
14571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for bitcoin? on: May 07, 2018, 01:42:26 AM
Please, stop looking for useless wallets.
Just invest a few bucks and buy a decent one, a trezor, a ledger, a keepkey.. There are a lot of them who are better than putting your money in coinbase.

I'd definitely don't recommend Coinbase. But at the same time, are you sure that the hardware wallets are 100% safe? Because recently I have seen a few threads here in this forum, which points to the opposite.
14572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa won't process Bitcoin & cryptocurrency transactions on: May 07, 2018, 01:39:40 AM
I am not too surprised. First of all, the legal status of Bitcoin is not clear in many of the jurisdictions. And secondly, Visa may consider BTC as a competitor which can have a negative impact on its business in the near future.
14573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the common challenges for bitcoin user? on: May 07, 2018, 01:37:02 AM
OK... I made a list of the common issues. Here it is:

1. Hacking of wallets
2. Lack of legal clarity
3. Tax complications
4. Volatility
5. Transaction fee uncertainity
14574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: May 07, 2018, 01:35:14 AM
sometimes not just a coach, but disharmony between players is a huge factor ,, i know that brazil and argentina are inhabited by quality players, but are they able to override their ego for the sake of their country Huh

Most of the star players in teams such as Brazil and Argentina play for the clubs in Europe (where the salaries are higher). And the rivalry is intense between various European clubs and this can have an impact on the personal relations between the players.
14575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL( Indian Premier League) Prediction Thread, 2018. on: May 07, 2018, 01:33:27 AM
I'm expecting RCB to win tomorrow's match with a good partnership of Virat Kohli and Brendon McCullum. Smiley
I would like to see some performance from Brendon McCullum, he was one of my favorite players in T20s and i always liked his battled against Tait and how he hit over the keeper for six, it was the best version and the inaugural IPL performance was great, but then i did not find him perform that much and even now with his retirement from international cricket, if he could not regain his form, he wont be selected next year.

Brendon McCullum is 36 years old and his best days may be over in the cricket field. He may be picked up by some of the franchises next year, but I don't expect him to perform any miracles. Or may be he should just retire from T20.
14576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 07, 2018, 01:31:14 AM
I fully agree with you on this as having the best players in the world doesn't guarantee wins/championships. We have seen this many times before in many different sports and cricket is no different. The team needs to work together as a team if they want to succeed, we see on some occasions that certain players are just about them self and not for the team so this could be the case here.

To win matches, you need a good combination of the best players, captaincy and team effort. Franchises such as RCB are having good players, but their team bonding is not up to the mark. On the other hand, KXIP is one of the franchises which excels in team bonding.
14577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash on: May 07, 2018, 01:25:11 AM
So after the fork happened and Bitcoin Cash was created, as of today on CoinMarketCap it shows:

Bitcoin
capital $118,038,167,261
price $6,962.42
circulating 16,953,612
volume last 24 hrs $4,671,340,000

Bitcoin Cash
capital $11,306,077,844
price $663.06
circulating 17,051,288
volume last 24 hrs $286,801,000

OK... now compare that with the stats as of now:

Bitcoin
capital $161,122,090,712
price $9,467.05
circulating 17,019,250
volume last 24 hrs $7,023,800,000

Bitcoin Cash
capital $29,330,315,237
price $1,713.83
circulating 17,113,900
volume last 24 hrs $1,819,640,000

The BTC market cap went up by 36.5% in one month, while that of BCH went up by 160% during the same duration.
14578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin a Good Investment for Today? on: May 07, 2018, 12:58:24 AM
As someone who had invested in DOGEcoin in the past, I'd advice against it. From the exchange data, it looks like the interest is down. The devs are also not very active now and the coin is on its way to eventual doom, similar to other coins such as Quark and Terracoin.
14579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prediction ETH up to $15,000 by this year on: May 07, 2018, 12:54:52 AM
OK.... Let's do the calculations.

Total Circulating Supply of ETH: 99,275,577 coins

Total market cap (@ $15,000 per coin): 99,275,577 * 15,000 =  $1,489,133,655,000

I am not saying that a market cap of $1.5 trillion is theoretically impossible. But under current conditions, it is very unlikely.
14580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: May 07, 2018, 12:45:13 AM
Even if you want to hold the tokens, I would advice you to limit your term to 6 to 12 months. Tokens are highly volatile and I don't think that they can be kept for more than one year unlike the established altcoins and Bitcoin.
