I'm in Phoenix, but I could probably do this if she wants to meet in the middle, like Casa Grande or something.

WTF damn son I hate it when anybody gets scammed, especially one from the OT crew and ESPECIALLY someone from the 12.9@110 crew. I'll see what I can find out.

Please use escrow for this one.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Starting Escrow Service? on: January 27, 2014, 07:17:22 AM
Escrow work is tiring and thankless. Even when doing it for free, 95% of the time nobody leaves you any positive feedback. Plus when you're responsible for four our five hundred Bitcoins that belong to somebody else, it makes you very paranoid about losing them.

Why even bother registering on this forum when you're going to abandon your account and never log in anymore?

Just stick to mining.

Time will tell. If Bammergera stops logging in with that account, he was indeed a scammer.

1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next Alt-Coin to hit $5 on: January 26, 2014, 04:30:07 AM
Any of them. It used to be back in the day any new alt coin had to pay their dues, languishing in the $.01 to $.05 range like LTC did. Now it seems like any new alt coin that comes out automatically starts out at $1 for no good reason whatsoever.
1474  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 0.34BTC loan on: January 26, 2014, 01:41:20 AM
Hey guys,

Getting a loan as a new user can make things quite hard for the latter of the people that are actually trust worthy like me who is in need of emergency loans. I do agree that it is taking a risk, and i understand fully how important these transactions are. But as of now, i am in need of a 0.34BTC loan, in order to purchase a GPU for mining, work related tasks, and I actually want to start up a stream for my twitch account. So there's a lot of things riding on this 1 loan. I'm hoping that the very 1st loan i get, can be a great start for me to get my Reputation up, as i can guarantee payment back in 25 days.

This would give me a chance to do even more trades in the future, even though I'm a new user, because this 1st loan speaks volumes on my trustworthiness and would open the doors to more in the future.

If anyone is willing to make this transaction with me, please PM me and tell me what you need to feel a little bit more comfortable about making this loan. I can provide ID, Contact information, and although I'm not to sure about what to do about the collatoral, i do have a few accounts that are worth $100+, just incase. I also heard people where using ESCROW. I'm willing to make this happen, no matter what.

Either way, Contact me, and we can talk more about it.

Yeah man, try sticking around a little longer and learning about what Bitcoin is (technicals, potential pitfalls, etc) first before you go asking for a loan Smiley

1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does it cost me a dollar to send 1 Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2014, 08:46:20 PM
I've been experimenting with .0002 Tx fees and they work just fine.
1477  Economy / Lending / Re: How much volume in Lending? on: January 24, 2014, 09:20:07 PM
I'd say less than 10% of loans are actually paid back, just guesstimating.
1478  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow list on: January 24, 2014, 07:43:57 PM
I've been doing escrow as well @ 1%
1479  Economy / Lending / Re: Requirements for BTC Loan on: January 24, 2014, 06:07:47 PM
Standard procedure for obtaining a loan is as follows:
  • Request loan for x amount
  • Provide adequate collateral to lender
  • Receive loan
  • Pay back loan
  • Get your collateral back
Note: The above type of loans are exceedingly rare.

If you manage to obtain a loan without collateral, standard procedure is as follows:
  • Obtain loan
  • Log out of your forum account
  • Create a new forum account and never log into the previous one again
1480  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Disclose the identity owners of exchanges BTC-e.com on: January 24, 2014, 02:37:23 PM
Wasn't this already done two years ago? I'm pretty sure the thread is still up somewhere, but the search feature on SMF kind of blows.
