1461  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: August 01, 2016, 07:43:52 PM
Exactly what the title says.

If bitcoin dropped to the price of a dollar (which we hope it never will), what would you do? Buy more and hold, sell? Buy a promising altcoin like ETH?

I personally would buy more bitcoin.
to be honest with u i would not wait for so long that to reach it to 1 bucks ..man it was harsh ..otherwise i would buy a lot of btc s and save it in my wallet so that its price rises to 2000dollarss ..u might think me to be crazy but to be honest it will happen in the future ..so be ready and dont loose hope that it might fall to 1 bucks ...kudoos  Smiley
Well, such a large pricedrop would destroy the userbase of bitcoin, and the chances of it never coming back once at the 1$ marker at that point would be pretty big; it would be largely overbought. The chances of that happening in the next few years is slim anyways, so keep that in the back of your head.
Do no let things like this bother you too much, but just remember there's always that risk.
The chances for happening so is slim indeed but it's not impossible. The price is slipping right now but it would not reach to $1 obviously. Bitcoin would basically be destroyed if it dropped to $1. But, bitcoin is getting stronger day by day, then why we need to discuss those.
1462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: July 14, 2016, 08:32:12 PM
No, and i hope no one use it for that reason, because it can ruin bitcoin reputation and one day the government will ban the coin and the society will leave bitcoin
If so then government should also ban USD and whatever currencies are being used for drugs and other illegal stuff. Come on guys try to understand that if someone is using bitcoins as a medium, then not the medium but the intentions of that person is wrong.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: July 12, 2016, 03:22:26 PM
No thing is guaranteed in gambling , but I will suggest a method which I used for long time .
You can gamble on football matches , but you will choose the small odds like @1.09 , or @1.12 , the event which is related to the previous odds almost is close to happen , if you bet on 3 or 4 matches a day , you will make about 30% profit of your investment , you also can bet on other sports.
yeah i dont like actually small odds because some lack of luck and you are losing all.
Just look for some gambling systems, just please dont use martingale cause it really sucks...
You said yeah but then totally disagreed with him, what he is saying has a real logic, bet with small odds and make some 3-4 bets a day and hence you make nice profit daily. Wont be big profits but surely much safe than others.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: July 12, 2016, 03:15:43 PM
Investment is the same as gambling, you still have a chance to lose, you must understand the risk Cheesy

actually they only look similar when in fact they are not at all the same. when you gamble you have no idea of the result so you can win or lose at all times but when you invest you can calculate the risks and make a wise investment that has a very tiny chance of going wrong.

also in gambling you lose all you put down but when you invest in case of a loss, you will only lose a small part of what you put down. and that is a huge distinction.
But that been said, yes you loose less when the house looses but you win also less when the house wins, so that is not a real benefit. Yes, though it is always much better than gambling, given that your partner site is honest Smiley . The big challenge here again is finding out a site which remains honest for ever.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: July 12, 2016, 02:37:02 PM
I think they gambling too. I never see a girl gambling but maybe just a little
When I was there at bitdice there was a user with some girl name and that day I realized that girls also gamble. But that been said, people also choose fake and deceptive usernames to get tips lol.
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Anonymous Enough For You? on: July 12, 2016, 02:02:51 PM
Would you, if asked, personally consider Bitcoin anonymous enough for your needs? Does it lack privacy features? Would you consider Bitcoin anonymous, semi-anonymous or transparent?

Do you want an anonymous crypto currency?

yes it is.
in fact, bitcoin anonymity is the least important thing for me. and i care about other attributes of bitcoin and anonymity is in the end of that list, some attributes like decentralization, and fast transactions, also low fees are more important to me than being anonymous.
You might be glad but 20% of bitcoin users use bitcoins just for its anonymity and non reversible transactions. I think though yes there is no need for anonymity unless you are to keen to keep yourself hidden. But I prefer anonymity to avoid any unnecessary attractions and questions.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: July 12, 2016, 01:44:06 PM
Yeah just need to be a smart gambler, even small profit only, but if you really have a big bankroll, you can make gambling really really profitable, by exploiting some weakness of gambling sites in a legal manner, for example, ARB BETTING. Cool
But a gambler is never allowed to be smart than a gambling house while he is gambling. Because the gambling houses are more smarter than any gambler to keep his thoughts busy with other things (like anger/frustration/greedy) . As long as you are playing against a gambling house with your emotions you will never be able to crack any profits in your gambling.
That is true. To make your gambling profitable you must choose the gambling which is player against player type. When you are not playing against a bot, the chances of making profits from your gambling is relatively high, realized this in my own experience itself.
1468  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2016, 10:57:58 AM
how we could motivate women to use Bitcoin because I tried several times to explain what it is and how to use Bitcoin ...was very difficult and have not really managed only once ..
I feel you I also to explain to my girl bit it's for him to understand but I saw many girls already know and invest in it. But not all can understand what we are saying wait for the right I think he will understand it soon

Yes it might be enough to explain bitcoin to women. Perhaps the most difficult to put interested in bitcoin. But if she needs income she'll try to use bitcoin because bitcoin is very easy to get benefits such as through a signature campaign. I'm sure it is suitable for women.
Signature campaigns can inspire many women actually because we all know what women love to just do is TALK and when they get paid to talk/write, then we will have a lot of women writing all the day Cheesy
1469  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: July 12, 2016, 10:45:56 AM
Basically I do not have any view on fiat.
But practically I do not use fiats for any of my daily life needs as I am mostly using debit cards wherever I shop both in physical stores as well as online (as I am saving my Bitcoins I do not spend them right now).

So, already I have switched over to electronic format of money by leaving off fiats. Does it mean I'm not believing in to fiat anymore.
Your stand on fiats is most common for many people here. I'm still believing in to fiat but I'm not using it for my daily needs. The belief on fiat is not important in my view, what really matters means what are your available opportunities to use like fiats or electronic money or bitcoins.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: July 12, 2016, 09:40:52 AM
I am not greedy and always play in smart way for few months. This smartness costs me much money as I was always having some feeling that I should try may be this is my lucky time.My sixth sense most of the time deceived me.Now I go after logic and play controlled gambling.
Most of the time, your extra perception sense must help your guessings to go right. But unfortunately most of the gamblers not finding their sixth sense is helping for their gambling as the course of gambling is drastically changing at every moment. Do not follow inner thoughts it might make you more greedy while you are gambling.
1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: July 10, 2016, 05:11:29 PM
nope never! but it would be cool if we can buy juice with BTC but then again you cant know if that shit is gonna be legit.. and we are talking about hormones here.. they can screw you up in 1 week..
It would not be a surprise to know if some people are actually using bitcoins to buy drugs because it has already happened years ago since bitcoins were actually a currency largely used in the deep web.
1472  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2016, 04:46:00 PM
Tell me all about it

My least favorite thing about bitcoin is its price volatility Its value changes very rapidly to the point that your money will be tripled in just a week or will turn into half in just also a week. But that's what also I love about a bitcoin since I am trader, a very high risk trader, I love investing in bitcoins since it can make my money grow in a very short span of time.

I think the price fluctuation makes it a bit less favorite in the new investors who wants to invest their money into bitcoins, as they have a fear of loosing their money looking at the price volatility.

Price volatility is an opportunity to earn quick profits if you take it positively, and if there is absence of price volatility then majority of traders will not be interested in bitcoins.
Yes, for some its good while for some its bad. But actually its good for me, because even if price is low you can earn a lot few months at maximum we can and then it will be back to high price again.
The price volatility is really good for most of us traders since whenever the price fluctuates, there is always a high chance of it going back up because of the value being stable at some point.
1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: July 10, 2016, 04:13:21 PM
Many people hate the fact that they have not bought or mined years ago, the volatility also makes some of them be mad. But only a few people hate the Bitcoin itself, and I don't see a good reason for that.
fluctuations also make people upset so well with me when I buy a bitcoin. then the price drops it is very
often the case. but that does not make me hate with bitcoin
And if so that they've used bitcoins from years back, they'd be surprised by how much the difficulty has surged.
They wouldn't actually be able to simply adjust to the change of difficulty from years ago to the present.
1474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are now at block 420,000 on: July 10, 2016, 03:04:34 PM
Happy halving to everyone!
Now now, it's only been a few hours since we've had the halving so it's only quite clear to not expect anything to happen just yet. Don't lose heart. Something will happen eventually. Miners wouldn't be given justice if the value just keeps on it's current rate.
1475  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: July 10, 2016, 02:53:52 PM
I would buy the supply of the majority of coins you could control that have just launched or are cheap but do it smart Wink

Do that 10 times and you will be rolling in it for a while.
Buy the majority of coins you could control? I'm sorry but I do not think I understand.
You have 10 bitcoins and you would buy coins with coins too? I do not know how'd you'd be able to do that.
1476  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin halving is real? on: July 10, 2016, 01:39:13 PM
I will buy 1btc now.

I understand that bitcoin halving is real, but not as expected by many people. bitcoin halving will greatly affect the price of bitcoin. Halving yesterday in my opinion does not significantly affect the price of bitcoin today. Thank you
The halving has not actually affected the price as of yet but it will have it's impact in the coming days.
Just not right now since it is most probably only transitional phase.
1477  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: July 10, 2016, 01:33:17 PM
yes i buying bitcoin because bitcoin increasing its price is very faster than other currency and is the most popular currency in the world and bitcoin get more popularity in the future .
It's a good choice to buy bitcoins right now because the halving just happened. The price may not have been affected as of today, but in the coming days most probably, the value will surely increase.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: July 03, 2016, 11:17:22 AM
Gambling and trading is not the same in trading you'll just need learning and patient to make profit if you'll not study first before entering trading you will end up loosing not like gambling its all about luck ,
It would be stupidity to consider trading as gambling. Trading is a business where you need to have knowledge and some skill to make money. It mostly depends on you effort and hard work. But gambling is a complete different story you are just using your money to check your luck. You can easily win or lose in gambling unlike trading.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: July 03, 2016, 11:06:20 AM
i think it's not just many people that has a gambling problem but instead most people having a gambling problem and many of them just want to stop gambling their money but they can't . it is not just because they don't have a self control but because they are not sincere and serious on what they have said it is very hard to stop if they are on that case .
If you have no contentment on gambling even if you win big you will not learn to stop and when you are greedy even if you lose hard you will still not stop, and in that situation there is only sure outcome and that is bankruptcy.
Many people have no control of thier gambling habit. They don't care about losing money. They just want to be involved in gambling. This makes them get high. Some research shows that in some people gambling can be addictive like drugs. These people enjoy the thrill of gambling. this is a serious gambling problem.
1480  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The less you own, the more you have on: July 03, 2016, 11:01:00 AM
I think you on to something.  I have noticed the same thing.  The more you own the less freedom you have.

Less is more indeed. Less money, the more you have time to worry about how to maintain your bankroll. Very true how everything really has a price to pay.
I don't know but what I observe from homeless people. The less they have the more they know what's the people of a person being empty.
It is like a philosophical sentence which doesn't interest many people. Our society has programmed our mind to seek for materialistic life.

Wealth is linked to success therefore being rich is the only way to happy life. This is the concept we are grown up into. But many rich people live a stressful unfulfilled life. they may seem prosperous but aren't happy. So there should be balance in life. The less you own more freedom you have. You have time to connect with people.
