1461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Beginners Should Not Go For Future Trading? on: March 15, 2023, 01:22:19 AM
Using demo trading is recommended for beginners so they can learn how to trade Futures and what strategies to do. Futures trading is not as easy as a beginner might think, just guess and then earn big profits. Futures trading is very high risk compared to spot trading. All will be lost when predictions are wrong and liquidated. Using leverage wisely will be crucial, don't use too high leverage if you're not sure what to trade. Spot trading seems to be safer for beginners to start learning the early stages of trading and developing trading strategies. Don't force yourself to trade futures.
1462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: March 14, 2023, 06:57:38 PM
It's really hard to say if our parents are into bitcoin or crypto in general. I would agree if they are into stocks because I know my parents are. I introduced them to crypto and they say no because you know, they can't take the volatility and how the price swings.

But there could be elderly who wanted to explore more and try their hands in this so called crypto market and could have been enjoying themselves. And we all know that they have the mentally fortitude already because of their experience thru age.
Old age is not necessarily the reason that they will be able to endure bitcoins with patience. They may be quite old, but they don't understand anything about bitcoin. If they have an open mind and can accept what bitcoin says, then they will love bitcoin and maybe start investing in their retirement fund.
Parental involvement in bitcoin investment will give them a new experience in investing. this is a very extraordinary thing for them.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 14, 2023, 06:38:30 PM
When you think of any altcoins, any or most of the investors will first think Ethereum except maybe for the newbies who only know only one altcoin.

Now to answer your question, Ethereum is King of Altcoins? I don't consider it as a King or whatever it is at all. I think using the word "King" to an altcoin is kind of irrelevantat all. The word "King" is being used to a male person or maybe some animals, but not on an altcoin or any coin.

Let's not make it more complicated at all. Let's just say that Ethereum is the top altcoin in terms of market cap.
Whether it's relevant or not is just an analogy, it doesn't refer to any gender. I also call Bitcoin the King OF Crypto because bitcoin is the reference for all altcoins in cryptocurrency.
ETH is the King of Altcoins, meaning that ETH is the top most popular altcoin at the moment.

There's nothing to complicate the term, just a nickname and anyone can call him whatever.

Ethereum is currently also a reference for all emerging network platforms, and ethereum has a Layer 2 to Layer 3 network, that's quite an extraordinary development.
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: March 14, 2023, 05:39:30 PM
I was watching one trader yesterday, he lost 350k$ because he shorted bitcoin.

To make 7000$ out of 100$ I think it's possible only with meme coins in a short term. But the possibility that you will lose your 100$ is very high. Just don't ever invest through pinksale  - it's a scam place.
if you compare it to catching a knife from a height, you might get injured and you might catch it perfectly. However, meme coins and other rapidly rising and falling coins carry a high degree of risk. Can get rich with only $100 and can lose it all. Whoever enters early will get the profit, but whoever arrives late will only buy above and suffer a loss.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth staking stablecoins? on: March 14, 2023, 09:28:23 AM
Well in the past I was a fan of staking my coins on the exchanges. It was very easy to earn free coins for not doing anything. Stablecoins like usdt was my favorite to stake.
But now with what is going on in crypto, I do not feel as confident about it. When you stake on the exchange, it does have control over your money. 'Not your keys, not your coins' is now how I feel about this.
Staking stablecoins on a centralized exchange doesn't have any appeal for me, instead of having to use a centralized exchange it's better to use DEX which is of course better because it only uses smart contracts to be able to connect and be able to do staking easily. But currently stablecoins are also quite risky. Just see how USDC can crash to a price of $0.88. Gotta be wary of whatever you holdin' on. But Bitcoin is still the best to hold under any circumstances.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 13, 2023, 08:54:05 PM
Even though it's true that football is full of surprises, I won't be holding my breath much from Liverpool in their return leg against Real Madrid. I don't think Liverpool will advance to the next round, but it's possible they could win the second leg if their lucky. However, I don't think they can beat Real Madrid and advance to next level because they made serious mistakes by giving up a lot of goals in the first leg, and  with what they are playing currently, I don't think they have a any advantage to even win Real Madrid at their stadium.the home game will even give Madrid big advantage to win Liverpool again.

Anyone still doubt Real Madrid to qualify? I think it's just a miracle that can make Liverpol win by a four-goal margin at the Bernabeu. I feel very confident that Real Madrid will definitely pass the next round. Perhaps Real will be without Alaba, but Anceloti already has the option of replacing with Militao and Nacho Fernandes or Rudiger. In addition, Real Madrid must not underestimate Liverpool, they must still make quick goals to suppress Liverpool's mentality. This Madrid must do so that Liverpool's players are not free to improve.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 13, 2023, 08:17:27 PM
Concerning the red card that was given casimiro in Manchester United match against Southampton. I strongly advise the management of Manchester United to appeal that red card because it is not deserving. Most times I question the officiating ability of the English Premier League referees. Especially when they would refuse to make use of the VAR even when there is an obvious need to use the electronic device.

Meanwhile Manchester United need to find a way to start playing well, even without their talisman midfielder in the pitch. If not, they will keep dropping points.
I'm not sure an appeal would give much of an advantage to Man United's points. But maybe Casemiro's penalty could be gone and he could feature for the next game. Actually I understand that referees are also human beings can make mistakes. But Var technology should be able to minimize those mistakes but maybe the referee's view is different, I think Casemiro hits the ball after that foot. Then there was the hand ball but not even the communication of referee Var and the Main referee.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 13, 2023, 07:53:31 PM
I heard the news from a while and I am not sure what could be the consequences, what risk Barcelona exactly? Points reduction like Juve? Dropping to a lower league?
I mean it is unlikely to see something like that happening and the worst scenario will be a fine tho.
Barcelona will have an away game vs Bilbao and the game will not be easy. Since Real Madrid won their game today, then Barcelona have to win to keep the nice gap they have until now.
I read that, at the moment this case is still under investigation. I don't know how it ends, but if true maybe all the punishments you mentioned could happen.

Back in the League, I was quite surprised when Real Madrid had to concede first. I think it's going to be a nightmare. But I'm glad that at the end Vini is back to being the savior actor by opening the scoring goals. Indeed, Real Madrid's statistics are very good but Espanyol are quite strong by stacking players in defence
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 13, 2023, 07:08:11 PM
PSG is just an overrated club where they have Neymar, Messi and Mbappe, but actually only both Mbappe and Messi are the most important to score a goal, while Neymar is just helping Mbappe or as a second striker. When Mbappe play without Messi, he doesn't get many chances to score a goal, but when Messi play without Mbappe, there's no striker have better decision than Mbappe.

Bayern Munich is already strong without a star player because they're better in develop a good potential player without spend a lot money.
Since they became a club many stars they have always failed to win. But it does seem like they have only been able to afford domestic competitions. Besides, there is indeed no French club that can play better than PSG in the UCL. So I think indeed their club's ability is only up to this level.
In addition the draw in the first knockout phase they were quite unlucky because they met a big team with a good UCL history. So maybe if they play against a club other than Bayern they have a bigger chance. I think the PSG owners should make improvements in the team immediately. They need hardworking players not just star players.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 11, 2023, 09:59:47 PM
I heard the news in the local media if Barcelona was indicted by a Spanish court. Barclona was charged with bribing referees in the period 2011-2017. They accused the Vice President of the Spanish Referees Committee (CTA) of the period 1994-2018, Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira.
It has not been proven to be true, but the prosecutor's office seems to have given sentences to Negreira and two Barcelona presidents Sandro Rosell (2010-2014), and Josep Maria Bartomeu (2014-2020).
1471  Economy / Speculation / Re: When you're so inlove with BTC on: March 10, 2023, 06:27:37 PM
I have to agree with others that bitcoin going up is regarding the market and what people believe in, there is a situation where it will take a while before people could believe in these things, and the market is not that easy to trust. Sometimes you trust it and sometimes you don't, there isn't really that much of a middle ground about it.

This is why I believe that we should be a lot more careful when making these decisions, if it was such a simple thing then everyone would have made some profit with it. Since only "some" people make a profit from crypto trading, then it means it is not as easy as it sounds and we should be checking the ups and downs.
Being careful in making decisions is indeed good advice, because every decision made will have an impact on the investment being made. Everyone can indeed benefit, but the percentage of these profits will vary, losses will also lurk every time you trade. Trading is not easy for those who are not studying, but for those who are learning continuously and studying TA and FA it will be done quite easily. Price fluctuations will provide a pretty good profit.
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which cryptocurrency do you prefer the most to accept payments in? on: March 10, 2023, 05:11:58 PM
Bitcoin will always be my first priority because of its worth and successful yield. There is no other coins which is more successful than bitcoin, ethereum is also a beneficial token and is the second priority. Holding of bitcoin is very essential for your future success as we trust in bitcoin that whatever the market price is but it will never die and we hope that there will be a significant amount of profit through holding bitcoin.
Significant benefits are only for those who can gradually in all conditions and are not affected by fluctuating market conditions. Bitcoin is still the main thing, but besides Bitcoin Ethereum is indeed the second choice. To determine which cryptocurrency is good, it is necessary to do research, but for Bitcoin and Ethereum is not needed because it has been trusted by many people.
1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: im new to this bitcoin business on: March 10, 2023, 04:01:05 PM
Realistically there is no chance of getting big profits if you only have small capital, let alone using short-term patterns in the investments you make. A good opportunity that can be exploited in investing is to use DCA and this pattern is perfect for those who don't have large capital to take a purchase approach.

If trust in bitcoin investment has grown, this pattern can be applied to collect bitcoins, for example you can make bitcoin purchases every month for $ 100 and the accumulation of purchases continues to be made regularly, then in the long run you will get big profits
DCA is implemented in stages, even though it has a small capital but if you make regular purchases it will be a big advantage. If the purchase every month is $ 100 then in a few years if it is done regularly, there will be a lot of profit that can be obtained, the accumulation of capital will produce a lot of bitcoins, then hold it until it reaches a new ATH. It's not too late to do it now, and now bitcoin is also correcting and dropping below the $19k price area.
1474  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin- Beginners fear for exploration on: March 10, 2023, 03:22:03 PM
If you already have a friend who is successful with bitcoin, you need to ask him directly. listen to his advice and what you should do. Lots of advice for beginners to be successful with Bitcoin. But remember, some people also suffer because of Bitcoin because they don't know what to do. You have to learn the initial knowledge about bitcoin, trading, investing and the like, so you won't fall into a panic when holding Bitcoin or when starting to invest. And remember, don't just look at other people's success with bitcoin, they must be hiding the losses bitcoin has caused.
1475  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I succeed as newbie. on: March 09, 2023, 07:58:59 PM
It's actually quite simple, you just need to study harder and learn what you have to do in this forum. You can find a lot of knowledge through this forum. Being a successful newbie can start with being a good member who can contribute more to the forum. if you want to invest as a beginner make sure you do your research, because the research will determine whether you should do it or not. Crypto investment is quite risky, you should know that. But the benefits are also greater. You have to learn how to trade and such.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will you feel when your government make BTC legal? on: March 09, 2023, 06:32:36 PM
I would love it when Bitcoin becomes legal, but right now it's still impossible, because bitcoin only gets regulated as a commodity asset and can't go beyond that. Payments still use the main Fiat. But I'm also quite happy if it's only allowed as trading and digital assets, because it's still free to trade crypto etc. Rather than actually being banned or illegal it wouldn't be good. Most developing countries accept crypto as a commodity asset and some also have their own regulations. In addition, the government also regulates taxation, because every local crypto exchange will be taxed and users who trade on the exchange will be taxed on every transaction made.
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how exchanges list news crypto tokens on: March 09, 2023, 05:40:04 PM
Certainly Exchange requires several criteria that have been explained in the Listing Requirements. Each exchange has different requirements depending on their respective policies.
But listing on Dex might be easier because many new tokens are registered with smart contracts. It's different from Centralized Exchanges which are certainly more selective, especially if you want to enter a large Exchange like Binance. There will be a lot of research to be done.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 09, 2023, 06:08:45 AM
Chelsea's inconsistency this season has indeed made us unable to fully trust them. Currently Graham Potter's reputation seems to have been saved thanks to the victory in the Champions League. but I also doubt whether the improvement that has occurred in the Chelsea team can continue in the Premier League. Maybe we can assess it further in the game Chelsea will face this week against Leicester. if Chelsea can win this game then I will be sure that Chelsea have indeed returned to their better form.
Of course, no matter what players they have, if the coach does not have good competence, it will not produce a good team. It happened to Chelsea, I think Potter is not the right coach. I think if at the end of the season there is no change he should go. Chelsea should have no problem choosing a quality coach. There is still a large selection of coaches who do not have a job at the moment. For the next game, Leicester is not a big deal for Chelsea. They should be able to win and get three points.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 08, 2023, 08:00:44 PM
I think Graham potter is actually a very good coach. We have to remember when Graham Potter first came to Chelsea. at that time Chelsea was in bad condition. but then in a few games Chelsea continued to win games after Graham potter came. However, after experiencing defeat, the positive trend stopped. even Chelsea continued to experience a decline in performance until a few weeks ago.

And now Graham potter seems to have been able to restore the players' confidence and have found a good strategy for Chelsea. so that the result Chelsea was able to beat Dortmund in the match yesterday. And yes, Graham Potter does need time to bring Chelsea to its maximum performance.
I don't think that way. Potter hasn't been able to prove that. It should be with that number of transfers that they are better than today. Obviously, Potter has no experience with big clubs. If he fails this season he should be ready to leave Chelsea.
Luckily, I still believe in Chelsea. Although they have a bad record, but I believe they qualified and it happened. I think many choose Dortmund and lose money. Kepa answered Potter's confidence with a very good performance.
1480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have bitcoin, what do you guys recommend I buy as well on: March 08, 2023, 05:45:18 AM
Curiosity is always there when you already start your journey into crypto, first it's Bitcoin that you wanted to invest but when you explore more, you will realize that there are alternative opportunities that awaits you, always do your research before making any decision,

like what OP said he won't take it as financial advise if he also considering other crypto project aside from Bitcoin then It's better to continue doing research to sort out which asset will be the best one that fits to his needs.
Research is the first thing that must be done if you want to get into altcoins. Because after all altcoins are still very high risk, just look at the top altcoins, they also still have the risk of bankruptcy or worthless assets because of some problems. It's different from bitcoin which is recognized by everyone and is king in the crypto ecosystem. Bitcoin is the main investment and altcoins are a backup investment that you can choose or not. The OP seems to be looking for what is really recommended, but we as crypto users also suggest not to believe what other people say. Do more research independently and multiply references so you will know what to choose other than bitcoin.
