14649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] XPM per kPPS per days = ? 0.2 ... The mining market need a metric !!! on: July 27, 2013, 04:46:44 PM
I stopped mining XPM.  At first was killer profit.  But at this point it seemed i was slowing down my GPU mining enough it was actually losing me money to mine XPM.  Granted i could have adjusted cores used, but at this point big servers and VPS is where the winners are.  And profit from VPS i would like to see now how much is made on a "good" day.

________Device_Name____________________|   __Ports Total__|   __Ports Usable__|   __Power from AC__|   ___Price USD___|   __Price / Usable Port__|
Juiced Systems 10 port USB 3.0 10HUB-01              10                  10                          12V @ 4A                    $48 + ship                 $4.80+

I have 6 of these, all power 10 usb miners each no problem.

Buy them in volume and you will get large discounts in combined shipping. Shipping just 1 to me cost $15 but 6 cost $19.

Just wanted to add I picked up one of these and mine will only run 9 erupters at full speed. You can connect 10 but they slow down to around 300mh/s each then. It also does NOT work with a raspberry Pi which is what I bought it for Sad Doesn't seem to recognize it at all.

3.0 will not work with the raspberry Pi
14652  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Potentially silly question concerning paying taxes on cashed-in Bitcoins... on: July 26, 2013, 09:11:00 PM
You need to have all gains/losses/investments etc.  Honestly you should go to your local CPA not here for tax on this.
14653  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnC Miner on: July 26, 2013, 08:56:49 PM
I'm not an ex-BFL customer Cheesy

Lol, are you a current BFL customer??

I'm a current BFL customer :/

To be a customer don't they have to sell you something?

Ok.... low blow... i hope they do start shipping more though.
14654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin High Performance on: July 26, 2013, 04:28:58 PM
I'm priming at over 100k/sec and have found one block in 12 hours. WTF. Anyone else having similar results?

100k? How?

Most likely using a VPS
14655  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is CPU Mining Completely Phased Out? on: July 26, 2013, 02:52:46 PM
Primecoin was a blast at first with CPU.  Lots of fun were had.  But now even it is slowing down pretty quick.

Once GPU is made for it(assuming it happens) it will blow CPU away.
14656  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Rumors on: July 26, 2013, 12:44:58 AM
Can we officially say this is not a rumor at this point?  Are people getting it just not US group buys so far?
14657  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: July 25, 2013, 10:03:44 PM
How many mining sticks does the RBi's computing power handle before it starts to effect mining?
14658  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Bicknellski K1 Nano USA group buy interest on: July 25, 2013, 09:44:00 PM
I wanted at least 1 just for fun.  But shipping literately kills it.  I think either they become more group friendly or ship to one of their coop members, then ship to us.

And i still think K1 should be far less then BE's.  How fast they went from 100 to 50 shows how much profit is there.  Produce us more at lower prices Smiley
14659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eMunie on: July 25, 2013, 09:37:55 PM
Mac addresses.... come on.  This is a laughable security feature.  You realize the entire first half is the manufacture.  There goes 1/2 of your entire security.

So by brute forcing last half just on major manufacture's mac's .... you will find chances are quite a few users mac's.

And how is it costly at all?  Timely... maybe depending on how many you can do until security cuts it off.

Sigh, I don't know where your understanding level is at, read the article, MAC addresses are never going to be used for "Security" and stop making false security claim when you don't even understand a bit how it works.

If your using mac addresses for anything related to this coin its a stupid idea.  Do you not agree the first half of mac is manufacture?

Guess what miners have common boards they all like .... this makes it where you can target specific groups pretty easy.
14660  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Rumors on: July 25, 2013, 06:11:32 PM
Canary could you please contact Friedcat or Rockxie, seems like the promotion end at Jul 31st.

If ppl purchase same amount of miners, you get the handling fee doubled, right? win-win

A end date Sad.  I think we would all pay more handling to get in on the deal.  Please confirm deal Smiley
