14681  Other / Meta / Re: Tecshare Maliciously Abused The BitcoinTalk Trust System on: November 06, 2014, 03:37:22 AM
I corrected my mistake and I already offered him a solution to this. He could just delete his posts in my threads and be done with this, but clearly he would rather create more drama. Just check out his signature now. Maybe next he will change his name to "tecshareabusedthetrustsystem".
Who do you think stands to lose more as a result of this drama?
I think the more appropriate question is why did it begin in the first place? I can't find any good reason. I am not interested in negotiating with him AFTER he already screwed up and was given multiple opportunities to resolve this, but refused.
I guess that is fair enough. If you are asking about this thread, then it was for him to try to get his negative trust removed. If you are asking about your gift card thread then it was because he felt that you were charging an unfair price (although I think he should have made his point and moved on).

I would say that you do have the right to say that you "do not trust him" via your negative trust, and he has his freedom of speech to say that he thinks you are misleading people/are dishonest on your sales threads.

I personally think that you both are in the wrong for both of your actions (especially how he is behaving as of recently).

Looking for .3 btc loan.

Repayment date: 11/11

Prefer 3rd party escrow for SWC affiliate account unless you can prove you're trustworthy.

SCAM-POTENTIAL = 100%
you do realize that the OP has already gotten and repaid his loan right?
14685  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC LOANS up to 10 BTC! (Collateral & no-collateral, ask) on: November 03, 2014, 05:39:08 PM
Quickseller I need a amount from 0.1 - 0.5 for a promotion on a website I have collateral and the amount won't be risked. I can see since I posted on your thread about how you made a loan thread but don't loan hardly anyone that you are trying to stop me from getting a loan on this thread.
I hope that you realize that you leaving me negative trust after I decline to lend to you (as well as after I call you out for requesting different loan amounts) only lowers your credibility (and trustworthiness).

You also do not have collateral that would cover any losses that a lender would incur in the event of a default so the amount would be risked.
14686  Other / New forum software / Re: Will the new forum allow upload of avatars? on: November 03, 2014, 05:06:57 PM
Will it have custom avatars that we can upload or a set of avatars we can pick from? is it going to be available to everyone or just people who were registered here?

Everyone can have avatars, but due to a sponsorship deal with School Boy Records / Scooter Braun you will only be able to choose stock avatars from artists that he manages / are on his record label such as Justin Bieber, Psy, Ariana Grande, Carly Rae Jepsen and The Wanted.

[removed 1 pt font from quote]Srsy, you'll probably be able to upload anything you want that is sfw and not a gif.

Repayment Amount: 0.25 BTC
Collateral: Online game accounts/Game keys.

In <20 minutes you went from needing .2 BTC to needing .5 BTC. I would say this has a very unlikely chance of getting repaid
14690  Economy / Lending / Re: Quickseller Short Term Loans [collateral] on: November 03, 2014, 04:04:50 AM
Alrighty, well good luck with the loaning. You have denied every request so far.
This is not true. You can look at my 2nd post to see which loans I have approved/given
14691  Economy / Lending / Re: Quickseller Short Term Loans [collateral] on: November 03, 2014, 03:17:59 AM
Amount Requested: 0.5 BTC
Date repayment is to be made: 11/9/14 (7 days)
Repayment Amount: 0.55 BTC
Collateral: Game accounts and codes.
BTC address to fund the loan to: 184FStQLfUTwhvhSNyBoA1eBYFVtE4suMx
You will need to be a lot more specific as to what games you are offering, although I find it very unlikely that they would be worth more then $180

EDIT: I received the following response:
They accounts are League of Legends accounts worth 20-50 dollars a piece I have a few.  I also have game codes that are just random codes to several games. League of Legends accounts are especially liquid-able in very low chance that I default on my loan.
These are not something that I am interested in reselling and I have doubt that I would be able to sell them quickly for .55 as most digital goods sell at a steep discount on here.

Denied
14692  Economy / Lending / Re: .02 Loan needed [Collateral] on: November 03, 2014, 12:38:11 AM
As the topic says I need a 2 day loan for .02.

I can collateral with BTC also.

What collateral can you offer?

If you have valid collateral my lending thread can be used to fill this loan, I will cover any escrow fees.
14693  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy 3 BTC tonight! 12 payment methods! on: November 02, 2014, 10:52:08 PM
Need 2.5 btc

I can sell you 2.5 for an $875 Walmart to Walmart transfer..

Possible hacked account: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=844375.0

Do NOT trade with alabamafan1 until that gets sorted out.
Thinking about this for a little bit, I somewhat doubt the account was actually hacked. I would personally find it more likely that the OP was able to successfully scam someone because they were able to agree to not use escrow (probably from this thread) and want to claim their account was hacked in order to prevent their reputation from being impacted. The OP's password was changed barely an hour and a half ago
14694  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DO NOT TRADE WITH ALABAMAFAN1 - someone changed my password! on: November 02, 2014, 10:47:26 PM
According to this thread/post the user Propulsion was trading with this person (ironically from a thread that originated in the currency exchange section - it not in the alt coin marketplace section - the same section you originally posted this in). He was also trying to buy trust.
14695  Other / Meta / Re: Who are the most trustworthy Bitcointalk users? on: November 02, 2014, 08:19:38 PM
tomatocage, haploid, dannyhamilton, loureed.

Vod & Tomatocage are by far the most trustworthy on this forum and the Bitcoin community.

I personally dont know anyone of them. Have they published their personal identification details ? Otherwise, why should I trust them ?
Personal ID means nothing. They have shown themselves to be trustworthy in the past and this is why the community generally will trust these people. They however are likely not the most trustworthy people in the forum.

I would say the most trustworthy people would likely be one of the few people who have organized multiple group buys successfully, as people have trusted them with massive amounts of bitcoin in the past and they have followed through
14696  Other / Meta / Re: Does post count have to be equal or higher than activity on: November 02, 2014, 09:15:06 AM
The obvious answer would be yes, but I guess there may be some exceptional circumstances.  Grin

I have a question about deleted posts (either by moderator or user). Do they count for updating activity? My first impression was that they don't, but then I came across this user.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=360248
Name:    247bitcoinnewscom
Posts:    4
Activity:    22

Any ideas how this happened?

Hmm that is interesting. I have no clue about it.

Also, the post count of that user is 4, but if you click "Show the last posts of this person.", it will show no post.

I think the posts were deleted after activity updated. But 'show last posts' shows nothing, which is very weird. An admin or mod may want to see this for correct answer. Roll Eyes

   ~~MZ~~

Yeah , it is very strange ... maybe his active will "drop" when he will back online.
Activity is suppose to update every hour (and your rank some time after your activity updates). AFAIK you not being online should not affect your post count/activity level.

I might speculate that some of his posts are on some hidden forum section (mod section, or donator section - even though he is neither of these)
The user will have probably been nuked which deletes all their posts and usually activity after the activity update every hour but hasn't for some reason. Maybe just a glitch.
I have seen other users that were nuked and they always had their post and activity count get reset to 0
14697  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ask TF thread on: November 02, 2014, 06:49:00 AM
You said that you did not sell your account. If this is true then can you explain this thread?
14698  Other / Meta / Re: Has the accuracy counter for reports stopped working? on: November 02, 2014, 05:08:32 AM
I have reported 137 posts to date and have an 89% accuracy rating. I believe I was at 88% not too long ago, therefore I would conclude that it is still be calculated.

I believe that the mods do have the option to neither increase nor decrease your accuracy ratings (essentially exclude the report from your calculation) however I am not 100% sure how this works.
14699  Other / Meta / Re: Does post count have to be equal or higher than activity on: November 02, 2014, 01:26:52 AM
You are able to gain up to 14 activity points every two weeks. If you only make one post when you create your account and one post 15 days later then you will have two activity and two posts.

If the next day you were to make an additional 30 posts then you would have a total of 32 posts and 28 activity.

To answer your question, yes your post count will need to be equal to or greater then your activity, however you do not need to make all 14 posts in the "activity period" to earn the activity
14700  Economy / Lending / Re: Medium Loan Request - 10-15% Interest, 30-45 days, Collateral and Escrow on: October 31, 2014, 04:59:02 AM
Can you be more specific as to what collateral you are offering? It is obviously alt coins, but can you be more specific as to what alt coin you can provide?

EDIT: @Watoshi-Dimobuto - escrow is to protect the borrower from you running away with his collateral either as soon as he gives it to you (and before you send him the loan) or after he pays you back.
