14681  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why transactions takes so long? on: September 01, 2017, 10:40:30 AM
I don't know much about how BTC or ETH works, but why all cryptocurrencies takes so long to confirm a transaction. I think even 30s is too long, why cant it be instant like PayPal?

Congestion, that's why we are having a very long confirmation for our transactions. I'll give you a very easy example, if you are in the drive-thru of Mcdonalds and there are 5 people in-line, so you have to wait for a longer time right? And miners are giving those transactions priority that has higher fees. With PayPal, it's an instant, it also happens when you send bitcoin from the same web wallet bitcoin address.

Checking out my trades in poloniex, I'm really glad that btc price is now rising - but still I'm waiting for my trade to hit the roof ~
I hope that btc continue to rise in the succeeding months and more people will start investing.

It is increasing recently and the price now was impressive as it reaches $4,610 and breaks $4,500. We are now heading to see the price of bitcoin at $5,000. And this can happen before and after November as there is another thing that is about to happen and many are saying that it will going to be the real test for bitcoin.

I know right? Though my early prediction of reaching the $5,000 mark by the end of this month, which is today, didn't happen I'm still happy about the increase. I just hope that I could celebrate this trend with my friends. Unfortunately they don't have the time to understand btc because they're busy making a living from their day job.

All of us here are surely happy with the increase and possibility of $5,000 will be seen for the next weeks to come. Just forget your friends if they don't have to learn more about crypto I did went on the same situation that I'm carried over by my feeling and got excited too much but I was disappointed with those people that I want to share this great thing that can help them for real.
14683  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Escrow Guide on: September 01, 2017, 10:06:26 AM
Hey Everyone,

Just wondering since I've never escrowed before I would like/need to in the future. Is there a guide on how to escrow somewhere around here?

Thanks

Hey there adamantasaurus, most of the comments here are right. And escrow is basically just a guy that will secure your funds together with other party that you'll transact. In this case that for sure you'll be using it in the future, always go to the recommended people and has a good reputation here in forum. Don't just go with the people that wants to be your escrow without trading history.
14684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does an ICO team even matter? on: September 01, 2017, 09:42:47 AM
I've always wondered if the ICO team even matters.

Yes it does matter, experience, trust and background for running an ICO, management and development.

If an ICO raises funds, could they not just hire a qualified team?

The team itself will manage it and it's up to them if they'll hire new members.

I've been around since before people would assign their names to a project so maybe I'm not giving an ICO team the respect they deserve.

Only to those ICO's that doesn't want to contribute in the crypto economy.
14685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Bitcoin Cash? on: September 01, 2017, 09:12:55 AM
While it has a lot of volume A lot of people still haven't went for cashing out, so this might change quite soon when the message reaches to other people.

Yeah and I'm one of those people that still doesn't cash out my BCH's. Before I'm always thinking that this coin is just a junk but after the fork, everything has changed. My mind has a different point of view now on this thing. I have one goal for it before cashing out my BCH or selling it, the same thing with what I do with my bitcoin, I'll hold.
I also still doubt with BCH I believe more BTC because of the reputation of BTC is already good. I can not comment much but the experience of my colleague who bought BCH he said better buy and save BTC than BCH because, BCH still do not have a good future like BTC. that's what made me to date has not had BCH.

You don't have to doubt with BCH, actually it's a free money and you can earn from it by just importing your wallet to BCH importer to get your BCH for free. What your colleague said is right, bitcoin is more reliable that BCH if you want to have better investment and looking for a better profit. This is just like an airdrop and you've got to sell it just to get profit and forget it after all.
14686  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Pumping 5000$ ? on: September 01, 2017, 08:59:42 AM
Hello all !
I'm new trade alt. I have a question here and I need your help.
BTC prices are rising strongly, we can invest at this time with co-BTC ? or you can tell me what altcoin should invest ?
Thanks All Trader  Cry

Why not chase to buy bitcoin as it keeps on increasing and if you will buy now at $4,700 possibly that it may go down. But so many news and rumors that are positive all over the net, you've got to trust it and think if you can take the risk. But if you are not comfortable of investing with bitcoin, so many choices in alt coins. Recently, RISE rose and I think it's a good choice now.
14687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN]|CIF|ICO|2017.10.01|cryptoimprovementfund.io on: September 01, 2017, 08:40:09 AM
The thread needs to be in Bounties (altcoin) section if it is not paying in bitcoins i guess. The services that pay in bitcoin are supposed to be posted in Services section, and services offering other crypto currencies are to be in Bounties (altcoin) section as that is made just for this purpose.
Yes and if you don't know how to move a topic OP, you can just look at the bottom left "move topic" click it and put it on the right section as said by Aamir1.
14688  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How erning over 100000 satoshi/wekly on: September 01, 2017, 08:29:28 AM
smells like something is fishy here, 100000 satoshi's weekly. i hope its not any kind of ponzi scheme. After Reading  all the comments above i taught i will go for it only if people are making money with your scheme. I hope its not any kind of marketing hype here,if it so then leave me, i am not interested.

If it is asking you to invest and promising you a good return, it's too good to be true. There are so many ways to earn this amount weekly and the closest way is by trading. Faucets can be another way if you don't have some other ways but it will take a lot of effort to work for 7 days just to collect 100000 satoshi's weekly. I advise you to know your own skill and market it as a freelancer.
14689  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: September 01, 2017, 08:16:08 AM
I was just wondering, if our society became cashless, would it stop thiefs from stealing money from other people?

I will say yes and no. No, as thieves are everywhere whether we have cashless society or not. When our financial system is now cashless, hackers are there and they can still hack anonymously but it all depends on the security of the system that will implement cashless society. And yes, all transactions are being monitored by the government and only if they will not use crypto currency with it which they won't rely on crypto's.
14690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: September 01, 2017, 08:06:14 AM
Never late to buy bitcoins..
Few years ago bitcoin flight to the moon and we will be reach soon.
I read that in 2022-24 years price will be $100000, I hope this true

That speculation of yours is surely about to happen. Many big time investors are saying that there will big pump that is about to happen very soon. And today with the current price of bitcoin at $4,741 after for so many years this price is going to become low. If you are going to buy today, it's not that late or if someone wants to see some more in the future, he will regret for not buying today.
14691  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: August 31, 2017, 09:56:57 PM
Of course they know that bitcoin exist. I think many of them invest in bitcoins because they can use it to earn more money.
This is what rich people do, they keep on investing everywhere as long as they can see there is a chance  to get profit. I'm even thinking about Donald Trump and Jack Ma's already in. They for sure see bitcoins potential and did invest into it immediately. And I guess big group is behind this pump.
14692  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: August 31, 2017, 09:34:20 PM
Right now the way to promote products as well services have been made easy with the existence of lots of social networking platforms. The latest that I found is Instagram, where lots of trade was taking place as well through the Instagram promotion service lots of people were earning good.
Its true, social medias became the gateway to promote such products and services. And its been easier now because we dont have to give away flyers outside, by just sitting at your home you can advertise. And you can avail more views, legit ones because they will broadcast your product.
14693  Economy / Services / Re: 5 BTC Bounty to Track Stolen Coins on: August 31, 2017, 06:23:22 AM
I tried to follow the transaction but it seems that it was passed to many addresses and possibly that it was an exchange. And yeah, it's a long shot now 4 years had passed and the hacker for sure used it somewhere or spent it already. I'm sorry for your lost mate even how big the bounty is, it's hard to give a shot on this.
14694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This just in, Donald Trump is the man behind Satoshi Nakamoto on: August 31, 2017, 06:06:38 AM
Haha good laugh for this day. I never noticed this thread was created since July and this is the only time I saw it. Well Trump does deserve to be called as Satoshi Nakamoto. Well anyone on this world can claim that he is Satoshi and even Craig Wright claims to be that he is behind with bitcoin. These interviews should test their authenticity and let them code.  Cheesy
14695  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price do you think bitcoin will reach by 2020? on: August 31, 2017, 05:54:25 AM
What price do you think bitcoin will reach by 2020?
My speculation on what will be the price on 2020 $15,000 - $20,000. Having this speculation is base on what I can see with bitcoin's progress. But anything is possible to happen and it can go fly to the moon and go higher.

I personally think that bitcoin can reach $100.000 by 2020 but i think it's never going to go to $1.000.000!

I'm not thinking of $100,000 or it's possible but on 2020 that's still early and growth needs more time.

What's your favorite 3 altcoins and why?

I hope to discover new cool altcoins after this post
 Grin

ETH is very popular though it's one of my choice but I will remove it for now as I have my other choices.
1. Digibyte
2. TenX
3. OmiseGO
These alt coins are making some noise and it has an active community that's supporting it.
14698  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: August 31, 2017, 05:01:43 AM
Sounds really good, that bitcoin would be freedom. But the freedom ended in taxes. And banks are already working on cryptocurrencies.

They are not actually into crypto's but they are adopting the blockchain technology. But I have read some banks that they are trying to adopt bitcoin and some other major alt coins. This is a good news though because they will add demand to bitcoin but the bad thing is bitcoin will be taxed and we can't live with freedom anymore.
Because of their action we are known in the world, still there are who does not fully trust banks and when they put their money in banks it will not gonna grow like the rate we are seeing in investing in bitcoin. They can copy the blockchain technology but they can never fully run it based on the bitcoin system as we are decentralized and they are the opposite.

Not "we" but bitcoin itself, we are the ones that are using it though through our actions bitcoin is doing great. And for those people that are not trusting the bank it's still up to them, we can't guarantee or we don't have an idea if they are totally giving a shot to bitcoin or any crypto currency. And I agree with you, blockchain based on bitcoin is the original.

14700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you guys withdraw your bitcoins to cash? on: August 31, 2017, 04:19:58 AM
I did withdraw my bitcoins before with virwox and I'm sending it to my PayPal account. After receiving it then that's the time that I'm sending it to my bank account, it takes time and I thought before it's the best. But right now in my country there's a good exchange that everyone is using and this is very convenient to all of us.
