Mt.gox is suppose to start litecoin trading rumor has it. I would like peoples opinions on if they think litecoin will ever be worth anything and if so would now be a good time to invest. Ive been apart of bitcoin since it was worth 8 dollars so Ive seen coin just take off. But I want to know if litecoin has the possiblity of doing this too

No one knows thats what makes it fun.  In one post they said July.  But they didn't say a date.  Its all speculation.

You should mention when you include a referral id.
14783  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I recently ordered a jalapeno - and I have questions on ROI on: July 14, 2013, 08:02:19 PM
Really should have read forum before.  I really want them to do great, but thier amount going out just dosent cut it.  They need to scale up a lot.  Right now most ROI is the ones selling on Ebay.  I predict ebay (which can be risky) is where a lot of the jalapeno's go for near future.

Well if you do have some open air GPU's you can always heat a room.  Forgot about that use.  But if your heater goes out..... you will be prepared.

Has anyone tried either dealextreme or cheap ebay hubs with any luck on amount u can plug in?
14787  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: USB fan to cool USB Block Eruptors on: July 14, 2013, 02:59:28 AM
I like the efficiency of USB fans but i think using computer fan if have power supply u can do, or small desk fan makes more sense unless you have a open spot.  Using 1 of 10 slots with a fan seems inefficient.

I think asics will cause some selling and lower price shorterm.  Long term we will see it go up.

I would be happy to keep paying.  But seems they do not want my money for mining.

Exactly! I think that due to their overselling model (which is necessary for good pricing....) they just can't support people using 100% of a resource. I'm sure we'd have the same trouble if we were using all 640GB of SSD space on the 20 core plan, or all 1GBit of the shared connection all the time, or the full 96GB of RAM on the 24-core plan. It's a matter of balance.

If you look at thier twitter lots of support issues.   I think they honestly dont want us.  Would rater have customers who dont use CPU at capacity.

Is there any components on the other side of the PCB? Or is the aluminium heatsink removing heat through the PCB itself? Some micro-sized heatsinks might be in order for the ASIC chip on the top side in any case...

There are no components under the heatsink.

Biggest difference will be on risers if u need powered or not.  Also its kind of nice to have a longer one but not a necessary thing.
14796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best GPU for Scrypt Mining on: July 12, 2013, 12:40:44 AM
Personally for me its the Gigabyte 7950.  I love my sapphire's when i bitcoined.   But Scrypt i would give giga slight lead.

Anyone know how to remove the wallet.dat to just see new keys?  THanks!
