The risk is always there and it's something we have to live every day.It is hard to imagine a world without electricity and internet,many things would stop working and BTC would be just one of them.Investing in gold&silver or maybe precious stones was always wise through the history,nothing has changed in this regard either today.
I hope there will not be some big war in the world,especially not nuclear because we all know that it would be catastrophic for the human species.We have achieved a lot,and we can go back to the Stone Age by pressing one key.

In 5 years in the future, some of us will regret that we never bought BTC when the price was still below $10k So if you are worried that Bitcoin might be a bubble then sell your coins now, I am sure you will get high profit from it already. I see this Michael Novogratz everywhere,his predicton is something like the main news in the last few days and he may be responsible for this pump  I do not think he say anything what the majority of cryptocurrency users do not know and what they not hope to see in next 6-10 months.Perhaps his statement is gaining weight because he invested a large amount of money in cryptocurrency. I also think that this price is because of upcoming hard fork and chance to profit on new created coin.It would be pretty unrealistic to believe that there will be no price correction,because so far it has always been the case.The question is how deep can we go this time?I would say that drop of 2000-3000$ it is not unrealistic if we remember the recent one from 5000$ to 3000$. |

I sold around 17 BTC for 4968$ on bittrex
and bitcoin price got pumped recently
should i wait for price drop or should i buy at current price ?
I wonder why you sold it at all when you want to buy it again but at higher price what really does not make sense.Perhaps you fear that prices will go upwards only and you will lose a chance to earn if you not have some BTC.But I think the majority agrees that price correction will come,therefore it would be wise to wait for that moment and buy again. I think you still profited when you sold that 17 BTC,I assume that you bought them at a much lower price.It's about your money so if you want to buy it now you can do it. |

Btc often falls much faster than it rises, though it obviously rises orders of magnitude over time, but the correction....20% ~ 30 % in 20 mins then a dead cat bounce.....
feels like earlier years where a 20% rise was normal in btc crypto land.
4~5 years .... 100K.
7~9 years .... $1M.
though $1M in 7~9 years will only have $500K buying power in today's $$$
I also wonder....how many BTC are going to be left for sale. I mean each time the market moves up, and drops....it must shake out a large proportion of people who are going to sell.
Then as it moves up to a new high it educates the remainder to not sell out if it drops.

This is perhaps like a doubly or triple reinforcing process that is going to select perhaps geometrically for actors that do not sell, or less much lesser proportions of their holdings. This would indicate supply is going to really go down over time, further pushing up cost.
Some things are repeating constantly and those who know how it works benefits from that every time.In some point whales will dump coins on market and price will go down,many will follow and panic sell will start.After that like always whales will buy again at lower price. I agree that with time many coins will cross in hands of some holders who will be very careful and will not sell in panic.So less coins on market for sale,smaller production every four years caused by halving and fact that most of BTC will be mined in next 10 years with increase demand-it can only mean that the price goes to the moon. |

Electrum uses hiearchial determistic(HD) seeds to generate addresses. Using the seed, the client can generate a master private key which can generate a practically unlimited number of addresses. The default behavior of Electrum is to generate addresses till they find an àddress with Bitcoins and generate an additional 10 addresses after that point. Judging by that, you likely had 16 transactions using your wallet.
I don't completely understand  but thanks anyway. One more question, I exported those addresses, will it use these addresses only or it can generate new ones again and again, I want the same address. You can use those addresses actually forever,as long as you are in possession of your seed and private keys.You do not have to worry about Electrum generate new addresses and you not need to export private keys for for each new address,all you need is your seed(secret words) and if you get in some problem with your wallet you can just download Electrum again and with your original seed restore completely your wallet with all addresses/balance/transactions. There is also possibility that only with one public exposed private key from Elecrum HD you can jeopardize your wallet.If I remember well, there is a possibility to create seed using private key. |

People sell their account probably because they don't want to get involved with this forum anymore. Or they have a lot of accounts, cannot handle them all, and have no use for them. The current highest pay for Hero and Legendary Member is 0.03 per week for making a minimum of 30 posts (0.001[bitcoin]/post). The average pay is 0.0007 I think. You can compare signature campaign pay rate in the Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad CampaignsYou post link to signature campaigns thread and you did not even check few post above that I posted same link/also you could check how much is high paying campaigns and you would see that FortuneJack pay 0.04 BTC per week. And I'm surprised how someone succeeds to keep several accounts at the same time but some users take this forum in a completely different way then some other users who have one account.  Hi guys! When i speak with a mutual friend about buying bitcoin, they all say to me, that they don't have enough to invest in. Not because they are poor, just because they think they only can buy a WHOLE BTC at one time. They don't know that they could even invest like 100$ and having an ammount of mBTC or even satoshis. I would appreciate to read your thoughts about this topic! greetz Twelve. I also have similar experiences when i say to somebody about BTC,when I mention how much the price is most of them think that they need to buy whole BTC and 4000$ or these days 5000$+ is too high amount to invest.But this can easily be explained in a few sentences,and with a simple comparison let's say with the purchase of gold.You do not have to buy a 1 kg of gold to invest in it,you can buy literally the weight you want. I think after the explanation most people understand that it is possible to buy a very small amount of BTC,and in such way they can invest over a period of time and collect the desired amount of BTC. |

They sell Hero,Legendary or any other rank account for several reasons.,First is that they need money and you can get very nice price for good account these days.Some make nice business of that and they made many accounts years ago,now they sell them.Considering that is take years to become Hero or Legendary,these account are always in demand. It is difficult to believe in the outcome that OP is predicted since we all know what's behind this pump and we all also know that correction must take place sooner or later.After fork when the situation calms down we can speculate about price,but 9500$ is to high in my opinion even for the end of this year.Although I always leave the possibility when it comes to BTC,we need to be realistic.

If some say faucet is waste of time then this is waste of time/electricity/hardware and maybe something more.You will get so low payment from this,compared to web mining faucets are gold mine.I know how all this work and see so many excited people because they mine bitcoin(they mine Monero)but at the end they get some 100 satoshi for hours of their CPU work.
It's worth it or not, on each user is to decide is there any profit in this or you will need to buy new CPU after some time.

I find it hilarious that Iceland, a small northern country with a population of 350 000 which is comparable to an average European city, managed to win their group and are in the finals. Absolutely amazing job guys keep it up in Russia and good luck Iceland is a good team and they know how to play football,for me they are no surprise.When you look their grup Croatia,Turkey and Ukraine were candidates for win first two spots,but Iceland is one level above all them in this moment.I think country size is not so important these days,you need good players who play with a heart for the national team.I hope they will get good group in Russia and pass at least to second stage. |

There are several reasons why some people are negative to BTC.Some people just do not understand what is BTC and how it works,for them is it just some internet scam like many others for which they have heard.They have fiat and credit cards and hardly can imagine anything better.
Governments also not like BTC only for reason they can not control them,collect tax or stop money laundering.Also big players better like to make money with fiat,shares,gold or something like that,they know and understand it perfectly.On the other side BTC is something new for them,most of them not like it and they say it is bad,fraud etc.
We also have problem with ransomware which use BTC for ransome.BTC is not guilty for they use it,but it is connected and have bad reputation.Many time media say that BTC is digital money used by criminals.

I do not think there is anything strange or unexpected in his prediction,it is very likely that for six, and especially for ten months price of BTC will double in value.There is no need to expect any other prediction from person who invest 150$ million in BTC,and have plans to invest more.This kind of news is acts encouraging to other investors and when they start invest such large sums of money what to expect but the price only goes up.
There is many prediction and speculation regarding BTC price in future,whether this will be correct or not we will find out in next 6-10 months.

The only one who know my coins investments, wallets, private keys, is me. So the question is how to inherit this information to my family? to give them privilege to access it after I passed away  . And I've been thinking about it considering the present way of life literally every day can be the last one.It would be really bad that we leave possible wealth behind us and that nobody knows that such a thing even exists. It would be wisely to write a letter with detailed explanation about cryptocurrency,wallets,private keys and store that in some safe place.Only problem is to ensure that no one gets it for our life time.Safe deposit in a bank is maybe good choice since they will give content to family when you passed away. This is something we all should seriously consider,it is not paper money,gold,house or something like that, so it is difficult to safely leave coins in inheritance. |

There is nothing wrong in buying BTC if you believe that one day you can profit from that,and all these years people profit from BTC.Only from beginning of this year it is up around 350% and after fork it should be rise in price again hopefully above 5000$. I know some people would like to BTC drop under 1000$ just to buy cheap,but it is difficult for such thing to happen, BTC is too strong in the moment and with time it become more resistant,although it is still very risky investment.But without risk there is no profit. |

Congratluations Iceland well deserved qualification to the world cup. They don't have big names, but they play well and the players are ready to sacrifice everything for his national team. Great atmosphere as always bu Iceland fans. Their presence will make the atmosphere even better in Russia when the world cup starts.
Great match by Croatia. They calim a hard win from Ukrania at Kiev. They garanteed a place among the best teams that came second and may have chance to qualify.
Italia too claimed a hard win against albania and still have a shot to qualify.
Iceland has certainly earned their spot on the world cup because they played the best football in this group.Croatia have played very bad in last games and they are win that second place in last moment.First half was on Ukraine side,they have few very big chances to score but they did not succeed.Second half is completely on the Croatia side,they shoot 2 time in the frame of the goal and score.Drawing for play-off is on 17.10 and there will be some interesting game to watch/bet next month. |

This is a terribly big loss of BTC(if it is true) and warning to all users that we can at any time stay without our coins if we do not take the maximum possible safety measures.There are people who only try to find ways how to steal something and get easy money.Steal BTC or any other cryptocurrency is it becomes increasingly popular because of the ways in which traces can be hidden.I bet that these thieves are everywhere, even on this forum,and they use all available methods to find potential victims.I hope people will start to worry more about security and how to keep coins safe.

This is good news for BTC,they offer citizenship before only for fiat and now accept cryptocurrency so it will certainly attract some attention with this move.Since they are members of Commonwealth you get visa free travel to 113 countries and low taxes with pleasant climate,beautiful beaches,clean air and much more for only some 40+ BTC  I believe somebody else will follow this example,it is always good to see that something can be pay with BTC and buying citizenship is a pleasant surprise. |
