14781  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: State law makes it difficult to use Bitcoin in Wyoming? on: June 23, 2015, 07:44:56 AM
they can still use it directly to buy thing online, you don't really need coinbase to do it, you can pay with bitcoin in many online shop already in the USA

remember that bitcoin isn't born to be used around a centralized system like coinbase bitpay and all these
14782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Executive Says 21 Million Cap Increase Inevitable on: June 23, 2015, 07:41:03 AM
The point was that gold is also deflationary and yet as we can all see still being traded, OP said that it will decrease because of deflation. Gold and Bitcoin are very similar in the way of commodities except bitcoin is divisible and can easily be transferred to anyone.

another idfference is that gold total supply is unknown, bitcoin instead not so much and it should remain at 21M

i'm starting to think that satoshi mined 1M+ coins(i don't he dumped his coin), to help reduce it even further and to increase the possible price of it faster
14783  Economy / Economics / Re: A currency or investment? on: June 23, 2015, 07:38:30 AM
i want it to be a currency 100%, so no stupid vat applyed to it, but the reality is different, the true is that bitcoin is still treated as a investments in the most cases

and as long as the price will remain unstable, it will be treated as that
14784  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: June 23, 2015, 07:30:35 AM
Bitcoin always goes only up. It is just a matter of time-frame and patience i.e. it only depends on how long you are willing to wait.

Reasonable time frame is important.
If it crosses 1000 in 100 years, it doesn't help

it should rise before 2024 to a great value, otherwise we might have a problem, because miners will not be a real dumpers anymore, and coins remained from total supply will be weightless

but i think a steady bitcoin price growth is better that a jump (price pump) in a short time and an inevitable crash afterwards.
bitcoin has already a big unreal price in the past if it continues this way (going up $1000 then falling $800) eventually people are going to give it up like what has happened to many altcoins.

this is true, but if we keep returning the the previous value everytime, we does need a fast rise, and one that is too slow, i kind of balance between the two would be good, but we know that the market isn't rational it does not follow math at all
14785  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have this weird feeling.. on: June 23, 2015, 07:26:19 AM
People here don't expect slowish rises. They expect massive bull rund

then they cry when there is a massive dump after it

we really need a slow climbing and nothing else, like it is now is good enough already no need to force the market, to skyrocket it will correct itself toward upward slowly
14786  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: June 23, 2015, 07:24:08 AM
well kids like to play, so something that can bring together bitcoin and gaming

like puzzle that when solved reveal a private key for example

it is important that kids start to learn early some basic economy, at least something about income and expenditure

i heard about a new law for some countries that will make it possible(to teach them basic economy) in schools

14787  Economy / Economics / Re: Euro's not fungible on: June 23, 2015, 07:14:57 AM
i never liked how each euro nation has its own euro, it was supposed to be a global currency for every european countries, yeah i know that it does not matter, because they are issued from one entity only

but still it can confuse tourist

and greek euro is the same as other euro, is the ECB that print it, not each state separately
14788  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining on dedicated server on: June 23, 2015, 07:12:29 AM
please don't mine bitcoin with such a thing, it is a purely waste of time

you need a powerful device like antminer s3 s4 s5, anything else will not cut it

the same applies to litecoin

Could you tell me the price of antiminer s3 s4 and s5,and estimated the budget, considering, etc about mining so i can earn profit from mining?

first you should check your bill, and your electricity price, because if it is too big above 0.05 or 0.01 there is no profit to be made

but usually s3 is around 100 or less s4 is a bit new so it is still expensive alsohas less eficiency then s5

s5 is the king if you can afford it at the price of $350, i would suggest(if electricity can permit it) to go with the s3 first, then you can add s5
14789  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: June 23, 2015, 07:09:57 AM
so many scam and ponzi scheme on cloudmining, by the way anyone reviewed about cointellect?

Cointelllect was scam from the beggining wasn't it? I know that my friend from bitcointalk.org invested some Doge and they didn't send him anything.. :/

yeha it was, but you could mine with 1 gridseed and earn 1.5 euro a day, this is a very big earning, none can compare to it, they gave to you plenty of money, you only need many account each with one gridseed and his personal different IP

i was using this strategy with many vps, to mine the shit out of their pool, other user were doing so by renting on miningrigrentals

14790  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: June 23, 2015, 07:07:13 AM
It will likely go down below $200 when the stock market inevitably corrects itself.

they were(the trollers) talking about sub 200 since months, and nothing happened, why it should go below 200 now, when the price even rised in the last few days?

to me this is a strong indicator of a reversal trend, we are approaching the exit of the despair tunnel
14791  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to get legit free btc? on: June 23, 2015, 07:05:17 AM
you can join campaign for newbie, and learn in the maintime about bitcoin, buy posting and following other people post, it is the best method to make money in an useful way

otherwise you have only another option, and this is faucets

there is nothing else for the moment
14792  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: questions about mining software on: June 23, 2015, 07:02:42 AM
what's alternative coin which better for mining?

some new altcoin that are launched every day on the altcoin section, have very low diff, otherwise you can try to mine dash with gpu or monero, but thy aren't that profitable like in the past, nonetheless they should still offer a better profit than mining bitcoin
14793  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Place to invest on: June 23, 2015, 06:35:22 AM
lend them to someone that need them and it is trusted, and ask for their account as a collateral, usually the return is very good, up to 20% in one week some times

yes your amount is still small, but it will gtow must, and it let you earn more
14794  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need help keeping my bitcoin on: June 23, 2015, 06:34:03 AM
it's pretty simple, store them in a cold storage(something that it isn't online ever, until you need to use them, at that point you can connect to a formatted cpu, or a dedicated one for btc)

so just put the wallet.dat there and you're done
14795  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Would you go to jail to get free power for mining? on: June 23, 2015, 06:31:47 AM
A local jail offers free room and board plus free electricity.  Would you go to jail (voluntarily) with your s5 so you can mine for free?

I heard people would go to jail for stealing electricity to mine.  I think it is better to go to jail so you can mine, instead of going to jail because you are stealing electricity.

No because you don't get to bring things in with you.  So unless you hide an S2 in your ass you aint getting it in.

This...

There's no way you could get mining equipment into a prison. They won't even let you bring in a paperback book.

Drugs though, you can get plenty of drugs in jail. Just not hashrate.

Not that I have any direct experience with this or anything Smiley

besides this you need a vast area to set a big farm, you can't certainly do it in a prison where the biggest area is a small arena for breakfast and other random activities for prisoners

problem with mining right now, isn't only about electricity anymore, is also about space, and temperature
14796  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar coming to an end on: June 23, 2015, 06:29:41 AM
Dollar, people still use those?
I just use BTC for everything these days. It's too easy not to.

i wish i could do the same,, there are still numerous thing that prevent me from using it directly, like food(supermarket small market) and some electricity shop like amazon(i'm waiting for open bazar) that could come in hand for changing computer part

but i don't want to buy abroad, even if they accept bitcoin, because then there is the problem with the customs...
14797  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New Players in Mining: 21 Inc, BitFury and Telco 214 on: June 23, 2015, 06:28:01 AM
bitfury have 4 locations in the world, and they are from usa, as it seems, telco is from florida and 21 inc, probably is from usa too

21 has already a good % of the network for being something new, they have basically a farm that is the same size of the one that have all that photo in that thread, you can find it in the mining section
14798  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: My Mining Rig Is a Piece of Crap ( Please reed this thanks ) on: June 23, 2015, 06:22:50 AM
when it quit the only led that work is the red one right?

i had those gridseed in the past and they were a bit a pain in the ass, because sometime they randomly stopped workin g for no reason and you need to remove all cable and reconnect everything for hoping for their restart
14799  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The cost of electricity in the world on: June 23, 2015, 06:14:27 AM
Russia, near Kazakhstan border.
$0.05 per kWh

this is a good rate, i'm wondering why in russia there aren't big farm with this cheap electrcity, now that the government is not against bitcoin anymore

worst case you can host other miners, that need cheap electricity

also the good cool temperature, will help against heat
14800  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: noobie requesting help on: June 23, 2015, 06:12:43 AM
Be careful, I have heard stories form people who burn out their computer from mining too much.  I don't think that computers, or at least the consumer computers, were really meant to be run at 100% processor for 24/7.  You can look into minergate, they let you choose how much cpu power to mine with.  I only tried it briefly so I can't say if it makes money, but you might have fun with it.  You might also want to look at grid coin, a really interesting way to mine and contribute at the same time.

this could happen with a laptop or netbook, because they have a bad air flow, and when the dust accumulate their fan practically stop working, still the cpu will turn off automatically, so the damage will be done to the motherboard or the integrated vga, in most cases
