1482  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Not] Good price at CEX.io on: December 01, 2013, 02:19:56 AM
I've had some good success with Cex.io and like how you can buy low and sell high to make some profits. Selling and buying mining rigs can take a little while.

1484  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinURL.com withdraw [Possible Scam] on: November 30, 2013, 06:12:00 PM
I withdrew on November 23, 2013 and have yet to receive my payment as of today. I have never had a problem with withdrawing in the past and usually receive my payments within a couple days.

If you read their frequently asked questions it says:
Quote
How long does it take for withdrawals to be processed?

Withdrawals are being processed manually and payments are sent once a week in order to minimize transaction fees.

I'd give it a little more time and see if it comes through.
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll to switch over to mbtc on: November 27, 2013, 03:32:09 PM
I'm sorry but I hate mBTC. It is annoying, confusing and you can't make me use it.
1486  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine if you had some gold... on: November 27, 2013, 03:28:17 PM
Gold and Bitcoin are similar as far as having a consumer demand and limited supply. The only difference is Gold is natural physical commodity and Bitcoin is a man-made digital commodity.
1487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How easy is it for others to rip you off when buying BTC from you using paypal? on: November 27, 2013, 03:24:58 PM
PayPal's Terms of Service states that they do not get involved in 3rd party disputes over non-tangible items. Unless you ship it to their address with a tracking number you are out of luck. A couple years ago I bought a domain name on Flippa for $1400. I paid the seller PayPal and he transferred the domain to my Godaddy account. Shortly after, the domain was on hold in my account and later found out the seller was a scammer using stolen accounts. I contacted PayPal and gave them all of the information and they ended up giving the money to the scammer anyway. The domain was taken out of my account and I lost $1400 just like that.

1490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Waiting for bitcoin to hit $900 today on: November 26, 2013, 07:21:27 PM
Funny how a year ago people wouldn't spend $20, but you get a few celebrities talking about it and people are willing to shell out a thousand bucks.

1492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that BITCOIN is more scarce than GOLD & DIAMONDS on: November 26, 2013, 06:56:22 AM
Bitcoin is cool and Bitcoin is practical in today's modern society, but Gold has been around for thousands of years and will be here thousands of years after computers and internet is gone. It's just not practical to carry a block of gold around in your pockets in this day and age.
1493  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Auto switch pools in CGMiner on: November 26, 2013, 05:26:11 AM
I was wondering what the easiest way to configure CGMiner to automatically switch to a different Pool every hour. Say I want to mine 4 different pools and switch every hour to each one.
There really is a lot of information in the documentation...
--rotate <arg>      Change multipool strategy from failover to regularly rotate at N minutes (default: 0)

That's it thanks!

1500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Depressed that I was not an early adopter on: November 25, 2013, 03:48:06 AM
I had a chance to get into Bitcoin in 2012 and it never fully caught my attention until this year when price jumped past $100. Bitcoin is no different than USD or any other business venture. You have to be prepared, in the right place in the right time and take advantage of opportunities.

The early adopters were smart in that they saw an opportunity and held onto their investment. The only thing you can do now is work hard using your skills and talents to earn Bitcoins and invest wisely into ways to multiply your earnings. You might be sad now, but you could end up with 10,000 in a few months you never know.
