They are trying to make it an entertaining one. If it works then may be (chances are low) we can see a good ending. To take the lead to 280 runs or 300, England will need to play at-lest more 15 to 20 overs. If they do then Australia will have only 30ish over to chase the run. Impossible to have a result unless England find themselves taking 10 wickets of Australian in this 30ish over :-P Right now England is in good position and they can take chance just need to have some aggressive inning from Stoke and Baristrow for next 7 or 8 overs and then give chance to bowlers with full powers still draw is favorite but right now this can create some interest in last few hours. |

I was shocked when he dropped his captaincy midway through one of the previous IPL seasons(Delhi Daredevils), but Shreyas proved to be a better captain in comparison.
He even refused to take his fees voluntary ( around half million dollars ) when he performed below average for kkr. Thats how he lived his all life. He knows how to lead or set an examples for other people. That's why he's so respected among everyone even critics. he goes over board here and there but that's gambhir for you. Sometimes I think he played in the wrong Era. He belongs to 60s-70s. I am happy for him as now he is in politics because we need peoples like him very clean and good person hopefully he will be remembered as good in his new department even I hate this I have never good experience in this dirty politics but we still can hope peoples like him can give new directions. |

I am guessing that this is probably the year with the most wash-outs thanks to continuous rains in the world of Cricket. Pretty horrible. This series could go in India's favor or end up as a draw at this point.
I am very happy to see Gayle reverse his retirement call in order to provide us more entertainment value although he seems to be out of form from quite sometime. Hoping he will recover his form soon.
In my opinion now time for Gayle to give up and give chance to some other guy because he is not able to perform good in last few matches and time is also running out for him better he take some brave decision and say good bye to cricket for only leagues which are better for his rest of career. |

Had a quick look at schedule and point system, that's what I don't like it about this Championship. 1. One Team playing 22 test Match and some team playing an only 13-14 match. Point system makes sense in this scenario.2. Some teams not even playing against stronger opponents - Not balanced if it World Test Championship.- 3. Irregularities in Home and Away matches ( some playing less in home and some playing more) - Point system makes sense in this scenario.  As usual ICC doing some very poor things for this Test Championship and going with own favorite teams they need to review all this after completing first championship and give more equal basis chance to all teams for more public interest otherwise this could be useless World Test Championship. |
