1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think that there are Dark secrets in every Successful Business on: March 20, 2023, 12:56:00 PM
Today I was reading some most successful businessman and other such successful people that are millionaires and also billionaires like Bill gate, Mark Zuckerberg and Other Gamblers that became millionaires because of betting.
My point is that Normal people see only their Success but they do not know that How much dark secrets are behind this.
I want to tell you a story of Successful Businessman in country who is Real Estate businessman and Rich people love to Invest in their housing Schemes. But He Gets access to most valuable land whom he gets it by hook or crook. My mean he Is partially a landlord and he has Done high damage to the poor people and they have lost their homes.
And Normal people do not know these kind of Secrets behind all of this and also on Gambling thing where a very minority of people gets succeeded.
I know that a lot of OP will not agree with me and let's see what are your opinions.

Your opinion doesn't have to align with other people have in mind and besides, this is a faceless forum, everyone is free to air their opinion. You see the journey of most of these successful people, the road to that peak isn't always as society portrays about them, if they are not into one or two dirty games, it is likely that there is someone doing the dirty for them on underground. It is likely that they are unaware of the magnitude of the dirty games that have been played in order for them to get to where they are. Look at the banks, is there any affluent business mogul who does not have a coalition with the banks? In reality, they own the majority of these banks and choose CEOs under aliases to conceal the true identity of ownership. I don't wager on things I don't believe in, and most of the time, I don't believe them.

Chelsea still have come not a very short way. Their chance of advancing to the next stage has dropped too much already after having a draw against Real Madrid. I just think Real Madrid would tear them apart if they preserve the same motivation level they got against Liverpool. These are both English teams and not so different than each other this season as well.

One way or another I don't see any other possibility than Real Madrid to reach the semi finals comfortably. I still don't see Chelsea defense as reliable. Their most recent Premier League game has also shown that.
Liverpool defense is in better shape than Chelsea defense in my opinion. Despite this, they had to concede 5 goals from Real Madrid. I remember there were a lot of matches where the Chelsea defense was alarmed. If Real Madrid has a good day, it will be a big defeat for Chelsea. I hope they don't suffer such a defeat because it would be a huge disappointment for them.
Graham potter has indeed managed to restore Chelsea's current performance a little. But still, Chelsea's performance has not been at the best level they have. although they have been able to make the front line a little better. but I agree that Chelsea's defense is still very weak. even in the match against Everton we could see how Chelsea's defense was very easily penetrated by several counterattacks launched by Everton at that time. and I don't dare to imagine what will happen if the counter-attack comes from Real Madrid who have a very good attack with the accuracy of Real Madrid's forward players who are no doubt. But that doesn't mean Chelsea don't have a chance. it's just that Chelsea's chances are slim.

Chelsea had an incredible shot on target against Everton, but it is funny when I see some gamblers have confidence and are ready to wager a large amount on Chelsea against Real Madrid, maybe the odds are tempting to see the records, not even their last five games Chelsea won half, they won only a single match out of those five, and to say that their first meeting of the season is going to happen is Santiago says lots of heat will come from Real Madrid. Who knows, maybe they think the presence of Kante's comeback, Felix, and Enzo hype will finally work in this final, but I still believe Chelsea will lose the first and second legs against Real Madrid.
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 20, 2023, 10:37:07 AM
I'm really happy with Arsenal's performance last night and they always score more than 2 goals in every game. This also makes me never hesitate to bet on Arsenal's victory. On the other hand, with the current point advantage over its closest competitor, it is now making Manchester City have to find it difficult because next week they will be up against one of Liverpool's strong EPL teams and this will be a big match to determine the 3 point results for Manchester City later and if Manchester City failing, of course, will make Arsenal walk freely in the remaining matches this season.
Arsenal's performance against Crystal Palace last match was outstanding. They are in the best form especially in this season of English Premier League. Every player of the team is regularly scoring goals for the team. In the last match they won 4-1 against Crystal Palace. Last match I bet for Arsenal I bet for Arsenal and I won. But I was more happy watching them play than winning the bet. I was impressed with their performance from the beginning to the end of the game.  Especially G. Martinelli's (28') goal at the start really cheered me up when it looked like maybe Arsenal would win this match by a couple of goals. Congratulations to Arsenal for winning yet another match in the English Premier League.

The Europa League did not end well for Arsenal, but they did not give up in the Premier League. My greatest respect goes to Arteta because even though he was hurt by what Martinelli did in the Europa League, which caused them to lose to Sporting CP, he still started in their match against Crystal Palace and was able to open the floor with the first goal for Arsenal, which was a remarkable impression for Arsenal. I believe what they need to worry about now is consistency, they are currently 8 points ahead of Manchester City, and with 10-11 games remaining, it will be very tough for Manchester City to win the season title,  it will most likely go to Arsenal because they have no other league apart from the EPL, whereas Manchester City has the EPL, FA Cup, and Champions League.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Strangest Bet You Have Ever Had? on: March 20, 2023, 10:08:40 AM
Gambling or betting is moving beyond just casinos and sports to other sectors of the economy. There is a thread here on betting for the 2024 United States election, and another one for the Oscars. I have seen people bet on movie characters and all sorts of things. This is not to say that they are addicted to gambling. I think we do it for fun, as a form of socializing. While thinking about it today, I wondered what the strangest bet I had ever had was. I remembered having a bet with my brother that he would give me $80 if I could eat 5 packs of 200g of instant noodles in less than 5 minutes, and if I couldn't, I would give him $90. What is the strangest bet you have ever had?

Nothing defines gambling more than this; we began betting as children and found it so enjoyable that we continued to do so without even realizing it. The one I had was with my course mate, there is this particular course that people find difficult to get a distinction and not because it is too difficult to pass, anyone can get a distinction under normal conditions, but due to time constraints, students don't have enough time to finish the exam but I bet it that I will have a distinction in the course, I prepare myself and practice multiple times and when the result came, I had a distinction and I won the bet. How did I win? I was fortunate; the preceding year's questions were repeated again, and the outcome was favorable, I think this is luck favoring my gambling.
1485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 20, 2023, 09:42:44 AM
This season shows that Barca is superior over Real Madrid because in all their clash Barca won them. Barca will be lifting up the trophy at the end of the season, since they have no rival anymore. Yesterday's defeat kicked Real Madrid out from the trophy race. Real Madrid wasn't able to win Barca this season doesn't mean that their chance of winning UCL is slim. This is a domestic league which shouldn't be used to predict UCL that has so many clubs from various leagues. Barca played better than Real Madrid and they were more determined than Real Madrid. If you check it out Real Madrid didn't score any goal in the match apart of an offside goal which was canceled by VAR,their goal was an own goal.

What superiority are you talking about? This season, they only met 4 times, 2 times in Laliga, 1 time friendly match, and 1 time Spanish Super cup. They were defeated in the friendly and Spanish but won 1 Laliga and lost 1 and the basis of the problem was when Benzema became injured that period and there was no better option than can play that striker position than him, and for this reason, to win unserious team was a difficult task for Real Madrid. Yesterday also doesn't show signs of unseriousness, they became relaxed thinking a draw might be better at almost the end of the match but that doesn't usually go well when there is much pressure from the opponent and that is the reason for their defeat to Barcelona.
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 19, 2023, 09:43:32 PM
That's right, Real Madrid must win. The owngoal was a lot luck, but this they need that to win a game like that against Barcelona. Real play very defensive and i think now they are just waiting for a chance to take a mistake by Barca. Maybe the game ending 1:0, no matter what, but that would be important points for Real. Benzema doesnt need many chances to score, i think he get one/two today.
If we look at the game, it is difficult for Real Madrid to win the game. The goal scored by Roberto showed that Real Madrid were unable to maintain their defense. Nonetheless, Real Madrid also counterattacked dangerously. We will watch the second half of the match.
Goal:
Barcelona    vs     Real Madrid            Time
                   -      R. Araujo (OG)        9
S. Roberto    -                                   45

This has nothing to do with the difficulty, the first mistake I learned from Real Madrid was giving room for comfort to Barcelona. They should have known better that after the first goal, they shouldn't have given them too much comfort, Real Madrid entertained Barcelona and that gave them confidence, and the moment I started seeing more and more corners from Barcelona, it was that time I knew they will concede a goal and now that they have bounced back with equalize goal, they have banked on that pressure but Real Madrid have added another goal. Hopefully, Madrid put more pressure now with the remaining time.

Modified: Ansesio goal was offside after Var checked.

Manchester City's job will be much tougher than the last one for sure. Bayern Munich are one of the strongest candidates for the Champions League championship together with Manchester City now.

Manchester City will need to be extra careful with their defending especially. Lewandowski's departure hasn't weakened them too much honestly. They are still a very productive team. Now that have great additions like Mane and Cancelo which has made the team much stronger. We are all familiar with the disciplined system of Bayern Munich as well. Manchester City need to keep up with them not to have the same result with PSG. But it doesn't feel like Bayern Munich will be able to get past them. We will watch a close matchup but the winner should be Manchester City with Haaland's big help as well.
It's hard to say who will eliminate each other in this match. Manchester City is a solid team, so is Bayern Munich. I would probably comment more in terms of their mentality, in terms of mentality I will go to Bayern Munich, yes I think they are better than Manchester City. The advantage that Manchester City has maybe only in the productivity of their goals, as we know they now have young players who are goal machines for Pep Guardiola's squad.

Will Bayern Munich's mentality get them to the finals against Manchester City? Of all the teams that eliminated other teams in the knockout stage, Manchester City is the team I dread the most. After what they did with Leizbig in the second leg, they didn't stop there, they did a similar clean sheet in the FA cup league and this finishing gives me more confidence in Manchester City, but it appears Haaland is underrated, despite the fact that he is doing his thing, maybe because Messi and Mpape are no longer in the competition. Manchester City has every incentive to win the Champions League in Istanbul.

El Classico has a history of roughness in every match, the way Real Madrid is hungry and frustrated to meet Barcelona on the table makes the match more aggressive, the yellow cards that have been received by players say a lot about their performance so far and the way it is going, Real Madrid are so determined to win this one and they already lead with 1 goal to nil after Vinicius opened the floor with a first goal with a reflection from Araujo. Stegen was hopeless with the cross because he didn't expect it to arrive inside the net, but Barcelona doesn't appear to be prepared for the defeat, and more extra pressure is coming from both sides.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 19, 2023, 08:17:29 PM
Everton were a good side against Chelsea, they played like a team transformed and determined to do better, only if they started the season on this level and stayed consistent maybe they would be fighting to maintain a position not lower than seventh place but they have managed to secure a draw to keep them away from the relegation zone. Good game and a well deserved point for Everton.

Chelsea spent an entire month in 10th place, and they wouldn't play again until April, so they'll be warming that spot until their next match against Aston Villa, the outcome of which will determine whether they move out of that spot or drop lower, as they both have the same points total, but Aston Villa is lower because they've conceded more goals.

Chelsea has had a difficult season so far, but it does not appear that they will let go of potter; the media is more focused on the new stadium they are planning, and it would be uninteresting if they did not finish the season in at least sixth place because it would be boring for them to play a single hot domestic league without the Champions League.

Either you want to trick people into thinking you actually won something by showing a video as proof, but you didn't show the history of your bets. You have definitely lost money on your wagers, and there is no way that your first attempt will result in such a large sum on a single try. Moreover, the casinos are not stupid enough to let you get away with free cash.

It's already past 24 hours, I challenge you to do a similar proof video just as you did the first one, and I will believe you are truly skilled to make that amount. You can fool your subscribers but not bitcointalk members because we are familiar with your games.
1491  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: March 17, 2023, 10:41:48 AM
I apologize if this is a dumb question but the fact is that I don't know why.

My question is, why is Bitcoin market always affected by all economics news, example is the issues with US bank like the SVB. Thank you

Why is your account Archived, I'm seeing that in your profile and this is my first time seeing that status on a bitcointalk account profile. Back to your question, my friend, you see SVB is one of the oldest Crypto banks in the crypto space according to CoinDesk, and it's custody to other crypto custody like USDC, PAXOS, and some crypto exchanges. If you remember when UST collapsed last year due to deppeg, which affects other protocols and Lock bitcoin (wrapped and unwrapped), a similar thing happened to USDC, the SVB bank became insolvent and unfortunately, USDC had about $3-4B trapped in the bank and people hold USDC panic and start selling USDT to mitigate loss and not repeat what happened to UST occur again but fortunately, USDC covered the loss and burn some USDC with their reserve and everything becomes normal again and that's the reason you see Bitcoin was dumping.
1492  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: March 17, 2023, 10:16:28 AM

Well, the inflation in my country now is not extremely high but has already damaged the economy. The cost of living is increasing and does not seem to stop. Last week one of my friends lost his job after working in the same company for a decade. His life abruptly changed, putting him in a place where he could not support his family. If you were him, how would you survive this tough time ? As a friend, I am trying to help him as much as I can and meanwhile, I am planning to save more money to prepare for the unexpected challenges in my life. What about you ?

I've come to realize that saving is an antiquated strategy for managing your finances. Do you know what passive income is? The fact that your investment will increase while you are still earning some money makes it a better choice than pure saving, even though it may not be the best. If you have them in various forms while keeping your job, you will notice that you have amassed a sizable sum of money in a short period of time. Even if you run out of cash, your passive income will still help your while investments grow in value, but overall, try to save some bitcoin; in my opinion, nothing beats it.
1493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans? on: March 17, 2023, 10:01:36 AM
I don't feel anything aside from being helpless when no one could help except myself, of what use is holding bitcoin when life is at stake? I once had a fever and to be honest, sometimes sickness is the least thing we do put in the plan, I didn't expect it that time and then I went for a test and I had to tackle it before it becomes worse. I had to sell part of the bitcoin I hold in my wallet to get myself back because I have noticed that it is when you have an emergency you find it difficult to find a helping hand and I can't risk my life over investment I can catch up anytime. I doubt if I will be able to catch up with bitcoin when I die, so don't feel remorseful about taking care of an emergency with bitcoin you had when you have no one to help you out.
1494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early bitcoin investment for my baby on: March 16, 2023, 01:00:37 PM
Few days back, I came across a post encouraging people to use the money well wishers gives to newly born babies and mothers as a gift  to invest in bitcoin for the baby,  then I was pregnant, just delivered 3rd of march. My baby and I has made up to $50 if converted just 10days after giving birth.  I am definitely going to use the money to invest in bitcoin this year for my baby so that in the next 18 years my baby will be proud of the decision I took for him.

Im so glad I discovered this platform this year, I believe I am going to achieve a lot from this forum

Below are lovely pictures of my cutie, my bundle of joy.🥰

Congratulations on your delivery, there is nothing that gives me goosebumps like seeing a newborn baby sleeping and you did well by blurring the face of the baby for privacy's sake. Having Bitcoin enthrone to a child without knowing what they had already done for him is one of the best things any parent should financially do for their children, however, $50 dollar may be a huge amount to you guys but I will advise you to increase the budget to $100 to be able to buy it huge amount because that amount can actually get you a bitcoin but the problem is that Bitcoin price need to reach $200k before you can make 10x(about $500) and to me, that amount is not big enough to yield something large.
1495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What other ways are available for purchasing Bitcoin? on: March 16, 2023, 12:50:24 PM
Charles Hoskinson stated that cryptocurrency needs to cut ties with banks, how do you think this will work out? Because I use Fiat through Bank to purchase Bitcoin and other altcoins, is there any possible way that this can work out? What ways can someone buy Bitcoin without the help of Banks?

With what Signature Bank did to several institutional investors, I realize it is really painful with bank behaviors, but let's be honest for a moment—we need banks. Institutions that want bitcoin have what it takes to purchase bitcoin, that is fiat, and the only gateway is centralized exchanges. This is not to say that they cannot use decentralized exchanges, they simply prefer to trust traditional parties over a protocol created by an unidentified person. For this reason, banks cannot be completely excluded from this discussion; when these institutions also need to convert their bitcoin to US dollars, they require a bank to handle the large transactions.

I despise banks, but I wish there were better alternatives. P2P recommendations I've seen can only benefit traders, in fact, unless you're trading between coins, there is no way you'll want to use P2P without banks. After all, you can't expect companies to entrust people with billions of dollars without the proper paperwork.

It is true that especially those who are injured are star players, we know that this season Benzema has often been injured and he is the only pure striker at Real Madrid, if he misses a game then it will be a loss. Even though there are other names such as Rodrygo, Hazard and Mariano, these three are not pure strikers and that is what often makes Ancelotti confused about setting up a formation or strategy for Real Madrid.
That's not as many as barcelona. In my opinion, if real madrid is still having so many substitutions for the injured player. The only problem is the substitution for benzema is not owned by real madrid. In my opinion that if rodrygo must be sold to the another club and real madrid must be buying osimhen from napoli. Hazard was not pure striker like benzema. that's why real madrid has been trying to compete get osimhen from napoli.

Real madrid has been linked with several strikers from various clubs.

There was also a news about benzema greed to stay even longer in real madrid until 2024.

That's very good news for real madrid for sure.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11864973/Striker-Karim-Benzema-agrees-Real-Madrid-contract-extension-disappointment-Man-Utd.html

Benfica may be a breeding ground for good players, but I believe Napoli is far from the deal of Osimhen, who still has two years left on his contract and the President has insisted that the young man is not for sale, but bidders are pressing. If you look at Napoli Gallery, you will understand why they need a good striker like that guy, they need to make a name for the club to increase its worth, because what is the point of selling a player who could do wonders for the club than money that would only bring in players that wouldn't do anything or less to the club. They should pursue Mbape, perhaps after the first unsuccessful attempt, he may eventually settle for Real Madrid this time.
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 16, 2023, 12:21:08 PM
Wow! Napoli has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, along with Inter and Milan for the first time ever. I was really impressed with their performance, thanks to Victor Osimhen's who contributed with two goals. It was clear that Napoli came into the game with a lot of hunger and determination to succeed. At the same time it's great to see Italian teams doing so well in the Champions League. Thus, I am highly impressed with what Napoli has done and I can not wait to see how they progress in the up-coming rounds.

Napoli won the away match against Frankfurt 2-0. I was sure that the Napoli players will maintain their dominance in the home match as well. Because right now Napoli is in great form. Every player in the team is now able to perform well in his place. Also, thanks to Victor Osimhen's consistently good performances, Napoli's attack is now very strong. Napoli's defenders were also very effective against Frankfurt. Napoli did not allow Frankfurt's players to create many chances. Napoli is also one of the favorites for the Champions League title if they can maintain such a performance.

After many attempts, the current Napoli team is rewriting Italian history by becoming the first set of teams to reach the quarter-finals. I never had any doubts about their first leg, and the second leg is a complete confirmation of the first with an aggregate of 5-0, something some of the best teams couldn't do and they proudly did. The next stage of the Quater Final is what I'm worried about; it may be too difficult to get through in my opinion. Inter has played Napoli a couple of times and they are second in their domestic league, but they always win or draw Napoli; I hope that doesn't happen again in this stage of the Quater Final.

This year's Europa League is very interesting and wonderful. Many big and top clubs are in the Europa League and this clubs used to be Champions League teams. But this time around they are in the Europa league.
Without doubt, I believe that one of the top clubs will be the ones to win the Europa League. This is not the time for the underdogs. What do you think?
Is it Manchester United who will get this chance? Maybe it will lead to Manchester United. It's hard for me to predict anything else, MU will do everything to be able to get this European league champion.

Why are you guys so biased with your judgments? Round 1 has been played and so many teams win the first leg while others draw and because Manchester United was able to score 4 goals, that is now the basis for automatic qualification to win the League? that is a big joke we are discussing here. We have strong Laliga and Bundesliga teams that may qualify after the second leg and it will be a big challenge for Manchester United. The only thing I could say about Manchester United is that they haven't won any league and if they fail to win this one, they may end the season without any trophy and that is why they may put the effort into this one.
I can even say that you are the one that is more biased in your judgement.
How do you mean that it is because Manchester United score four goals. That is why people are predicting them to be the champions of the Europa League. Where you not following the news when Manchester United eliminated Barcelona?
Are you not aware that Manchester United sent Real Sociedad out.
Are you also not aware that Manchester United is about to eliminate Real Betis?
What other signs do you need to know that Manchester United is among the favourites for the Europa League?

Manchester United could be anyone's favorite but people talk as if they are the only ones that have removed big teams from the race, other teams that qualify, did they make an auto qualification here or did they work their way out to reach this place, the same Manchester United that receives 7 up from Liverpool in Premier League, Look at Arsenal for example that top EPL are finding it difficult to win Sporting CP in the first leg, each of the teams with their ups and down and anything can happen. If you look at my last paragraph, I gave my reasons why Manchester United will want to win the League also, all teams are here for it and they will fight for it with their last power.

So I am at fault for thinking that Barcelona is a below level club. Perhaps because they were eliminated early in the Champions League group stage while Real Madrid remained alive and kicking. Despite my desire for Barcelona to win La Liga this season, this data changed my perspective on the club. I admit that my perception of the club was influenced as a fan who was dissatisfied with their performance in the Champions League and Europa. Lewandowski and his teammates will be motivated to perform better in the next upcoming season, particularly in the Champions League, if they win La Liga.

As a fan, your information may be objective or subjective, and it is an opinion that others may accept or reject. so when you state things about Barcelona as fact, you shouldn't feel bad if someone criticizes you because it may be his team that you are against. If they are not happy about it, you should either provide them with additional evidence or ignore them. For instance, while I'm not pleased with how Real Madrid has performed in this domestic league, I want to see them at the top of the league if they can tomorrow but I must admit that Barca deserves to be where they are right now. Xavi has done everything in his power to enable the team to win what they can on their own, and even though they are out of the Champions League, they still deserve it.
