A friend of mine bought a few before I could stop him. On the final screen after purchase it says: At the end of each day of the presale, all proceeds will be transferred to the following publicly visible multisig address: 3MrNuksZ1VePU3dGiSQFiouWerJUJgDkfH, where they will be held until launch. I guess to save on transaction fees they're doing one big transfer each day to the public address. I'm not a fan of this coin or launch at all still though Seems they are transferring right now - more than 10 BTC at the moment.... still counting. Translated: They found some stupid people to buy their story. Are you calling me stupid? The alternative would be ... greedy? Question: What incentive do banks have to partner up with a crypto coin from some corner in the world when they already have systems such as swift or they can just fund their own cryptography/programming experts?
edit: Just to clarify, this is aimed at all alt-coins, not just node. I just don't see the logic behind all these coins thinking they can partner up with multi-billion dollar institutions.
Good question. I d like to hear what silk & koop thinks about. I would say itīs all about the money. Banks could hire or instruct their own experts. But experts cost much money. And often it s better you catch the people with a "cool" new stuff without a history than a (in this case) bank- or country associated coin . Btw: Do you ever saw just one dev here in bitcointalk in RL face to face? Maybe they are all banks    Guys/Gals... not that I'm not enjoying the discussion... but... you are blowing everything out of proportion. Just think of all this in terms of the relationship Bitstamp has with its bank. It's just a matter of officially registering Nodepay in a jurisdiction (it doesn't have to be Ukraine by the way) which allows for such financial services. Aside from the recent (and most likely temporary) legal-clusterfuck in respect to Cannabis businesses in the US... banks never turn down officially registered businesses in their jurisdictions. Even in the unique Cannabis situation... it's a liability-fear because of gaps in the policies/laws between the jurisdictions involved... they're not actually turning Cannabis businesses down because they don't want/need their cash. |

Yeah, that looks pretty good. I like the gold and black color scheme, but it does need a slight change somehow to make the C part more visible.
I would imagine gold and silver colors might work with complimentary gradients but either or |

Well we've been discussing via email as well. presume focus is on volume, approaching that way without out it makes no sense try more community building first with way out of ordinary methods (thinking) you can't get something without giving something sometimes i guess - or am i just stupid It's hard to say what their criteria is (the didn't say specifics) considering a particular coin on their service has less than $10 worth of volume. But Shapeshift did mention that Jumbucks is up for consideration. - Julian imo they're playing a little too safe and cautious (considering the coins they've strictly added) - works both ways I guess someone might just step in and offer a wider service soon if they don't change strategy or maybe not just random ramblings |

It boggles the mind how many 10s of 1000s of TRON have been dumped in the last 5 hours. Unbelievable.
People are just cashing in on the free TRON from staking. At least the top 10 wallets are still accumulating. My guess is we will probably not going to see 60-70k price until the end of hiPOS. Lowering the 9% annual POS should give it a little boost as well. -tb- This is exactly it, we're still making a lot of coins in POS for the next week or so. The annual POS will be lowered also. Lowered to how much 2% sound better? |
