1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash Price Prediction 2020 on: November 11, 2019, 05:08:43 PM
Well!! Bitcoin cash is booming really well as compared to the other cryptos.

Crypto experts says that bitcoin cash price will go up in the upcoming years.

What's your take on bitcoin cash?
Crypto experts, are you not a cryptocurrency expert on your own? The fact that we have someone who claims to know much about a cryptocurrency does not make the person an expert, sometime, they could just be shilling their coin to the public using their influence if the person is a public figure and I think we need to be wise not to fall into the trap of these people.

We need to learn to face reality and do our own analysis our self. When we are discussing about a coin, it should be based on our own opinion and not on the opinion of the others. I know bitcoin cash is a good coin to a level, but I believe that they still depend on the growth and development of bitcoin to rise too, so bitcoin is what I see as a coin that will explode in the future for these coins to follow by.
1482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share Your Experiences on: November 05, 2019, 08:17:12 PM
Was reading about how Bitcoin first came into existence and people's first experiences with Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, etc on Reddit. I want to know how your guy's first experiences was with Bitcoin, and if you ever had any regrets or wins throughout the years. Also, would be cool to know how people first actually got Bitcoin back nearly a decade ago when it wasn't as easy as buying some from a local Bitcoin ATM near you.
I have a very big regret about bitcoin, and that big regret is that I did not join the bitcoin community when I had the chance to do so, and that was back then in 2010, back then in 2010, I got to know about bitcoin on my own while trying to look for some of the internet jobs that I could do and some of these Ponzi investment, and I can across lots of them which included bitcoin, and because I classified it as Ponzi, it was not among my choice of Ponzi project because I didn’t understand it, and this is why it is very important that we be a researcher, we have to be able to read and understand things very well, if I had taken time to read about the project concept them, I would have understood everything about the project more than I even do now, but since I got to know about bitcoin anyway, it has really been a very good experience for me with no regrets.
1483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt has traded only 7 BTC so far on: November 03, 2019, 02:35:53 PM
Low volume from early days of its release is pretty normal bro. Yes I get it that you're maybe confused on why only 7 btc is traded in bakkt after all those hype. Lets give it a little bit more time so we can see the full potential of it.
The hype bakkt had created didn't give any big fruits on its first day but I think as time goes by bakkt will grow bigger and more volumes will be expected.
I am even sure that the traded volume would have even increased by now, people are not really just following up much on them again because of the impression that some manipulators created in the mind of people, investors and users that would have gone on the platform, they made it look like this bakkt was a curse because it was the time that they were released bitcoin crashed to $8000, but as you said, I think that we need to give them more time to really prove themselves and redeem their image back because I know that what happened then really had nothing to do with the fall of bitcoin, it must have just been some coincidence, or a game purposely played by those who understand the goal of bakkt and would not want to see it stand.

1485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I GOT BURNT TODAY on: June 28, 2019, 11:09:19 AM
What are you afraid of? Isn't this good news that bitcoin is bouncing back. Don't be left behind by a good moment. Bitcoin has successfully entered the market for $ 11,000.
It is still not a mistake that he is buying at this price, because I am sure the market will cross over that value soon, but everyone needs to keep at the back of their mind that we are already approaching a stage where we need to be very careful not to allow FOMO to push us into mistake, this was the mistake some people made in the last ATH that made their money tied till now, and they had to wait for this next season for them to get their money out, it is still not too late at this $11k, but we should be very watchful and careful of the whales. I believe before the whales can strike again, Bitcoin will definitely surge up to $25k.
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Instead of Gambling Invest in the BANKROLL on: June 24, 2019, 10:30:15 AM
I know people in this subection are probably going to be against this sort of rhetoric, though I know that most people here are avid gamblers. Which is fine, though there is a problem that arises when you gamble all the time -- you're not going to be making any money, and all you're doing is losing.

Wouldn't you much rather invest in the bankroll of a gambling website, so you'd be able to make some money off of people like you?

I do understand that there is risk in giving other people access to your BTC (or whatever coin you choose) though that same risk is present when you gamble and put coins on the platform.

Man there's nothing wrong with what you have said! Cause it is the truth. There's time that it will reach and the house will have more advantage and the players will just be losing their games. So it's a better idea to invest in their bankroll, there will be a better chance there. And also there are other options as well for investment if anyone feels like they are tired of gambling. Buying and Hodl Bitcoin is already a good investment and is better to do than gambling, cause you're sure that you're going to make profit especially at this time that prices are upping.
1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters risk on ERC20 tokens in ICO on: June 21, 2019, 07:26:14 AM
I don't know if everybody knows this, but there is now a risk in getting involved in ERC20 based ICO, and that is they are locking bounty hunters rewards after they've sent it to their bounty hunters,

So even if the coins are already sent to your wallet you really don't own it, because they can lock it anytime at their whims that's what happens to Dexage and Liker, they sent the tokens to their bounty hunters then lock it, so they will not dump, and will only unlock it maybe after they dump all their shares and run away.

what's your take on this bounty hunters?

They are locking the token because they want to prevent dumping price after distribution.
But actually the cause of dump not always from bounty hunters. So, i think this method is not effective.
To prevent dump, the team need to create more demands of their token.
I term it has wickedness on the part of developers to bounty hunters, pure wickedness I mean, because there is really no correlation between hunters tokens and why their coin or projects fails. Let these developers do the math themselves and see the ratio of what their investors hold and what bounty hunters held, if they are truthful to themselves, they will see that it is really not significant to cause any form of dumping at all to them.

If there is any of their policy they need to work on, which is the major thing casing these dump, is the bonus policy to their investors, those bonuses are just too much, and really needs to be caught down.
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DEX (Decentralized Exchange) still unpopular? on: June 21, 2019, 06:43:25 AM
But i like Dex. It can be manage wd well than centralized exchange. But i like cex also. For example binance, indodax from my country😁. I like all exchange. Except small or new exchange
I will still choose CEX over DEX at any time, I will prefer to use a system where I can know those who are operating the system and can hold any of them responsible if anything goes wrong with my trade, I understand that DEX exchange gives us the full freedom to trade or coins directly without the involvement of third party transaction, which is what really stands for the purpose of crypto, but if anything goes wrong in DEX, there is no one to complain to, so I will prefer CEX exchanges like Binance, which I am sure is reputable and will never scam people. The only feature I like about DEX is that it is hard to hack a DEX exchange.
1489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will new alts projects take over the lead? on: June 19, 2019, 02:11:58 PM

All alts price is down, but the question is !
will all of this new projects take the lead in the next bull run and leave behind good alts that have been in the market for several years ( for example STRAT , SYS , XEM  etc..  ).
I think this is the trend now, I have noticed several times that people now pump money more in new projects and abandoning the older ones, that is why you see most new projects that are not scam gets pumped easily even though they will eventually die in future when they get dumped like the way the older ones were dumped.

I think most new investor that comes into the market or new to the cryptocurrency space only follow news about these new ones which is what they see the most, so all these old coins still need to do more in publicity because there are too many projects in the market and majority of them can easily be forgotten if they don’t constantly remind investors of their existence.
1490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you secretive about trading currency? on: June 19, 2019, 09:44:58 AM
I don't go about telling people I'm a trader, because that's none of their business and they are not meant to know about it. Going about and telling people about your business is something a stupid man would do, you're meant to keep your life to yourself and not expose it to the public, that's not good. And by the way I don't see why anyone should be nosing around my business, I don't like people who are so inquisitive and trying to sniff out everything about me… when I notice you're such a person I just push you out from my life. I have an office job and that's what they are meant to know and nothing else.
1491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire wants to buy 25% of the bitcoin supply on: June 08, 2019, 03:46:18 PM
What could you gain from having 25% of all bitcoins? I mean I think this is totally PR move and marketing purposes by the company to say "we are so big that we have customers who are filthy rich and wants to buy 25% of all bitcoins so come work with us" and so forth however they are missing the point that even if you are super rich, like Jeff Bezos type of rich but all liquid, you have 100 billion dollars all on your bank account, it would still not make any sense to get 25% of all bitcoins, how would you use it, what could it be used for? How could anyone gain any advantage for having that much bitcoin? You are literally ruining the market all by yourself which means you are not getting any richer and a bad investment, so the whole idea is moronic.

1493  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: December 15, 2018, 07:03:42 AM
The bitcoin need a miracle as the entire bitcoin market cap slumped down to $61 Billion.
We all need a miracle. Heck, the whole cryptocurrency market needs a miracle as the market cap slump to only $112 Billion.
The bitcoin market cap reached over $320 billion in December 2017 and the cryptocurrency market was at around $840 billion respectively.
What y'all got to say about the cryptocurrency market situation at the moment?

What were you excepting to happen before? An asset that the market cap was able to get that high within a few months or so, you should also expect it to go down the same way when it does. I know it’s probably the whales that are holding the price from going back up, and whenever they decide to invest you will see the price going up again.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run in december on: November 29, 2018, 11:17:33 AM
We are 4 days from the last month of the year( December). There have been a lot of predictions of a possible bull run in December. The market prices are low right now compared to about two months ago.

Are you still positive there is going to be a bull run?
Well, we are fewer days in approaching the time of recovery. Even though no one knows but at least, I know that as we keep counting down, the chances of the market getting a little bit closer to the time of recovery is also getting close.

I would not say there is a chance of bull run in December, as that is something I believe will be hard to achieve with the state of the market now, but when it comes to long term bullishness, I am bullish more than anything at all anyone can imagine. Rather than focus on December, I would rather focus on buying more and if the market decides to give a chance to make that happen, who am I not to take it?
1495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn trading? on: November 19, 2018, 10:26:00 AM
To learn how to trade well, I recommend that you pay a teacher who has a lot of experience. On YouTube you can find the person that you think is a professional and you want to learn from him. If you try trading by yourself you will lose more money than if you would learn from a professional
In such case a teacher can help you a lot. He might have good experience so use it. Ask him different scenarios and questions and he will make you understand how things work in better way.
When it actually comes to getting a good strategy, it is always a good thing when you tend to see people who are willing to share theirs, give you their experience and let you see to how you can at least take a good advantage of the market to your own favor as well.

However, they won't come knocking at your door as you will always need to go out there to find them and if you are too lazy to do some research online, you will only get to realize that you will simply stay in your ignorant lane until you decide to learn.
1496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the most reliable? on: November 15, 2018, 09:54:57 AM
Friends tell me, please. Binance, Bittrex, Exmo, Kraken: what is the best, in terms of convenience and the most important reliability?
Which one do you prefer?
At least from my own side, since I have always been using Binance and bittrex, I will say they are pretty reliable. I have never used Kraken, but I know it is one of the exchanges that have been available for a while now, whereas I am not even conversant with anything that has to do with Exmo anyway.

When it comes to reliability, I guess the best answer to that is to choose the exchange that has been in existence for a while, has great reviews online, and is being used well by most people as in that case, you are at least covered you do not have much to worry about.
1497  Economy / Economics / Re: Argentina struggles with yet another financial crisis! on: November 09, 2018, 12:10:35 PM
Probably people behind the government is to blame for what's happening in Argentina. I read that IMF loaned them $50 Billion, but I'm sure that its not enough to at least hold their economy as hyperinflation trickles down to every person in the street. Crypto won't help them either, it just a tool to help Argentinians to fight this crisis, just like what Venezuelan did. 2 years ago, every one thought that the government can turn things around but they aren't up to the economic challenges, I just hope that they won't turn into another Venezuela. Cry
Whats up with all these countries having financial crisis all the time. First back in 08 there was spain and italy and greece. Now we see venezuela and turkey with this argantina, all countries are drying up and economically gets destroyed and ruined somehow. This is not some company or small business, this is a WHOLE country, how do they manage to really lead a whole country into financial crisis without seeing they are going that direction and prevent it.

I mean there could be bad market times everywhere but at least people at the top should see the crisis coming and do something to prevent it. Without corruption we could have fixed all of this and no one in the world would had these crisis, if the politicians and the bankers did not worked to get richer together while leaving the country in the ruins none of this would have happened.
1498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey from gambling to trading on: November 07, 2018, 12:20:40 PM
in gambling we need only one thing that is money

but in trading we need many things other than money, money management , emotion control , analysis , i can say Trading  is professional gambling  Grin Grin
Unfortunately, for a lot of people that got into trading, they actually took it as gambling, and they thought if they can at least have some pretty good bucks to trade, that is good enough for them, but they fail to realize that there is actually no chance at all to make something good out of trading if you think only your money is what will get you there.

The reason so many people who tend to trade well today, went through the process of learning and practicing over time to get better is because they understood immediately the value of knowledge and know pretty well that without it, there is actually not going to be any chance at all for them in making anything substantial from trading which at the end would just frustrate their efforts.
1499  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your plan for the next bull-bear cycle? on: November 07, 2018, 09:45:33 AM
Most of us talking about 2020. when is Bitcoin halving, but price spike usually comes year after that, so I am waiting next spike which could be in 2021. I hope that I will overcome my greed in this days.
There is always a previous spike before that and then we get to see a correction immediately afterwards and the year later, we always get to see some level of craziness when it comes to adoption which I believe huge growth will actually be more lurking around 2021.

However, who really cares, one thing I have always known right from the beginning is that bitcoin has always been bullish and will keep remaining being bullish, and I really do not think there would be any need to keep worrying myself of some situation I cannot change, or some situation I know whichever way, will definitely turn out good.
1500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: November 02, 2018, 03:07:19 PM
It was a very good thing to share your own story with everyone, because the new entrants are entering with great enthusiasm. Of course, these expectations never happen because it is almost impossible to realize these dreams with zero knowledge. Contrary to these dreams, many investors are completing their transactions with great damage and are getting soured from both daily and long-term investments.
Newbies are always entering a space most times, without having to take the deep knowledge they need to be able to do well. Trading will always be unhealthy for anyone who approaches it with levity, no knowledge, no practice to gain some experience and subject to losing a lot, which is why a lot of people get too emotional, at some point, start chasing loss recovery because they seem to see trading as gambling. As long as you do not have what it takes to guide you most of the time, you will always get screwed and at the end perform in some unhealthy activities yourself, and it is has nothing to do with trading but you.
