1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 04, 2022, 09:25:10 AM
When Srinivasan was the chairman of the ICC, he infamously proposed to reduce associate funding to zero. Finally a compromise was reached, and it was reduced from $56.25 million per year to just $20 million per year. If that was not enough, the changes to eligibility criteria made it more difficult for teams such as Thailand to receive ICC funding. Now majority of the funding goes to teams such as Oman, which are fully comprised of non-citizens. I am curious about the next funding cycle for 2024-31. Not expecting much, though.
Right now, as ICC system is working mostly giving impression we are still in colonial time because sadly they fail to have any solid system or way of spread this game which is more important and can increase income of this sports organization which is important here they are now working on having different bids for media rights which is good, but they need to work on other things as well which is surely needed of the time as well.

If they do work with better system then surely they can take good money from few other regions as well, and they can stop some blackmailing of big-4 but no one doing any better thing for this and just concentrating on their deep pockets profit which is coming from these puppets which are having own interests and never work on mutual way of this game right now franchise cricket is surely a big impact, but this is also going without any system which is surely needed to follow as we have in UEFA.
1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 04, 2022, 08:06:56 AM
Against Napoli at the Johan Cruijff ArenA will be an important match for Ajax Amsterdam to win in order to keep their chances of qualifying from the Group A phase.
Ajax's current points in Group A are the same as Liverpool's, which is 3 points, but Ajax's position is in 3rd position under Liverpool who occupy the second position.

Why do I say that Ajax should be able to win against Napoli, because on October 5 Liverpool will welcome Rangers to Anfield and the chances of winning are greater for Liverpool.
If Liverpool win and Ajax do not manage to get 3 points, then Ajax's chances of qualifying are no longer there.
Few weeks back I was also feeling in this way as Ajax is surely good team and having enough quality to compete with Napoli at home but sadly suddenly their performance in on decline which is surely going to be benefited for visitors as they are having very good record in Italian League and Champions League and giving their best which is the biggest advantage.

Still it's not going to be easy for them to have full three points against Ajax but anything which is going to be in Napoli could be not good for Ajax as they are looking for full three points for keeping alive for the next stage with Liverpool is going to face Ranger which is also easy win for Liverpool and most chances with this win they could be able to keep their place in this group.
1483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Huge Down from ATHs. what will happen the next ? on: October 03, 2022, 08:22:02 PM
The answer is in your question its the close time to the bottom now it won't be Dropping from there so its the time to fill up the bag's as its going to take a pull back in upcoming year or months I don't know the exact time but that is what it is. You won't regret if you do some DCA with your favorite projects make up your priorities with the BTC that would help a lot to secure the savings
I agree that DCA during this period would be the key to making a good return. It would be a terrible way of investing if you are unsure, it would be a good way of investing if you know what you are doing, but at the same time it is going to be a difficult thing to wait that long for some people.

I understand that newbies want to make profit right away and that is understandable, you do not have to make a profit right away, you could end up with a big loss in the long run if you end up selling before the time comes. So the best thing to do would be making sure that you are doing the right thing by DCA however ALSO end up with holding for a long time.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: October 03, 2022, 04:52:41 PM
I recently saw some reports about Qatar from footballers who have played there. They say it's not as hot there as people think. Okay, during the day it can be 35 degrees or slightly warmer, but when the sun starts to go down it cools down pretty quickly and then the weather isn't that hot at all. I think that is a huge advantage for the teams, so that you can look for a moment of cooling in the evening. That wouldn't have been possible otherwise. I think the last time we had a World Cup in Asia was in South Korea in 2002? But I think it was still very warm in the evening. I don't expect many surprises in the group stage but I am curious what Spain - Germany will be.
Many different repots about weather in Qatar because one person who is already living and having some good adjustment about weather is surely going to be had different view with a person is going to be there for few days, and he has to done job in ground under open sky with as we all know whether in European countries is completely different in these months from the Middle East. Still, as we have few negative news about weather sometime back now coming into positive for many players and teams which is surely a positive news because
with this we will be having not bad impact on player's performance, and they could be able to give their best under these circumstances.

But, keep one thing in mind Middle East weather is surely going to have impact on few European countries players otherwise mostly will be done good and feel much prefer able because they can adjust with this all quickly.
1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: October 03, 2022, 10:25:40 AM
it was definitely caused by the rumour of the merging increasing the value and when the merging actually occurred so many people that invested in eth makes a major sell off from their disappointment that nothing really changed in eth.
I think the value and pricing from eth will eventually recover back again, it's just matter of moment that it will eventually gets its standing back, right now even the trend of btc is bad, surely eth will be more or less same.
The ETH merger has been over-hyped by everyone and most people believe that the price of ETH will increase once the merger is completed. Before that can see the price of ETH has increased a lot, somehow people still buy and believe it will increase even more after the merger. If we look closely we can see that it is a price trap that has been created before, and it is not surprising that ETH after the merger did not increase in price as expected. It was sold soon after and the shark was bought back at a lower price. A perfect plan.
But the price of eth did really pump before the actual event happens so if you sell on those times then congrats but if you sell a little late then maybe you are one of those who got disappointed. What is even better for those who sold early is that the price of eth have dump drastically later on. That means they can buy effortlessly again with no worries because they already got their profits and they are trying to build another one this time.

For those who didn't sold last time, there is no need to sell at a loss but they can just continue hodling like nothing bad happens because this was not the end for eth. They shouldn't overact like they are a noob.
1486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: October 02, 2022, 05:21:20 PM
Different strategies must be adopted for trading on the trading platform. You can never be considered a successful trader from a trading platform by using a trading tool. Each item has different tricks that you have to use.Just trading platform also has different strategies by using all those trading strategies you have to trade on the trading platform. One of them is that you should buy low and sell high.
The OP is talking about trading tool not trading strategy but I think a new trading tool is needed to create another new strategy. Crypto trading is like a roller coaster ride and we all know the movements of it. It doesn't stay on single place or a single line. This is why having a different strategy is a must so that it's still possible for us to earn in whatever direction the price heads to.

A tool is useful but strategies are more important. If you don't have any forms of strategies then you won't never be successful. I am not sure if there are now trading platforms which came up with a free strategy for their users to use but we should learn to modify them if possible.
1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's Metaverse projects are looking good now on: October 02, 2022, 02:58:04 PM
Is it not a work in progress? The graphics and design is laughable but maybe Zuckerberg will change it at the later stages? It could be a test to know the reaction of the people. But it could be intentional to make it plain and very ordinary so even old people that are not following the new trends of technology can get it. By making its metaverse simple, it is also not irritating to our eyes night or day. But we will just follow on what is next. Many of us are laughing but we do no really know the reason behind it.
It is said that it was only a vision so it is not final yet but they will continue working to improve the game. Is the graphics really that bad for them to say that it was laughable? I bet those who laugh out there cant build their own game even with a basic graphics. What they are expecting? The game to have real world graphics like what is seen on a ps5?

I think each game devs has their own ideas. Look at minecraft, roblox and now we have sandbox in the crypto category. Their graphics doesn't also look realistic but it was cartoonish and pixelated, yet it still attract billions of players worldwide. Maybe that is what mark zuckerberg trying to achieve there.
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a seperate BitcoinCash forum? on: October 01, 2022, 06:08:21 PM
I know there's an xlm forum before. There's also a forum for yobit's talk token and many more so why not bch? Bitcointalk is only the official forum for bitcoin and other categories here is just an extra but it's also great to talk about our favourite coins here. It can give the coin a boost because there are so many people who visit this forum.

If you are sick and tired of seeing bitcoin cash then you better not visit the forum or any other crypto forum because you can always see a post about it knowing that bch is famous back that time but now that we are now in the year of 2022, the trend had switch out on other coins. I guess you are fine now?
1489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New best altcoin on: October 01, 2022, 04:33:21 PM
Investors nowadays are smart enough to determine whether a certain coin is trusted or not. We're already skeptical and mindful when it comes to choosing a potential coin because shitcoins are everywhere. There are already lots of potential coins on the top list of coin market cap which we know are better choices than new projects. We're in the bearish season and most new projects nowadays don't survive.
There will always be newbie in cryptos especially now that cryptos are known, many people will enter here. If you joined here few months ago then maybe you already know how to differentiate a scam coin from the trusted ones. Top coins can be a great reference when you don't know what to choose but it's still important to check them frequently because there are many top coins before who turned out bad later on.

There are also new projects who we think won't be successful but later on we will only notice that they are climbing the ranks. We should not always underestimate them because we don't know that they can be a hidden gem.
1490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: regulating cryptocurrency on: September 30, 2022, 07:19:31 PM
I vote for 100% deregulation like it was in 2013, when Bitcoin used to be Bitcoin. We don't need regulation, we need to find freedom not more pretext to give the globalist slavery influence over an increased global police state.Decentralized exchanges and person to person commerce, what the enemies don't want.
It will not possible. Crypto has not yet become massive at 2013 unlike this time which already known by so many people in the world. I think that as long as you are still rely with centralized exchange site or gateway to cash out your money and that will never possible. Think about that.
The government was thinking about legality of crypto. So many people got scammed and what about that? If you are never getting scammed and you're good
I agree, it is impossible for it to get deregulated, which is common because things that get regulated once, rarely ever gets deregulated, would need high levels of lobbying in order to do that and it would cause a lot of exchanges to lose ground.

Look at coinbase, it is listed on nasdaq as a company and raised so much money from it, and many people sold their shares, deregulating crypto in the USA for example would mean that we would need to get that out of the stock lists. I am not saying it would be bad or good, I am saying it would be impossible. That means we have regulations and they are not going anywhere and we just need to accept that fact.
1491  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: September 30, 2022, 08:48:39 AM
As far as I know, this is just an idea from some forum members, so all your questions have not been answered, if this is really implemented then there must be terms and conditions on who will hold the money. If it's really implemented, I'm very interested in following it
For the moment only me and slaman29 have pooled together our tickets,we have near 110 or something like that in total together. We have exchanged our ID and if lady luck hits us (which I doubt will do) with a win we will split the prize together. We are trying this experiment right now the only two of us but in the next draw most probably we can do with more people if they are interested, the only requirement is the minimum of 10 GT tickets each person and the prize is shared equally between all members no matter who has the most tickets because without each other our chances would be much smaller.
That’s not really that terrible but I wouldn't really have anyone I trust that much to end up doing something like that. I am not saying that you shouldn't trust each other, if you do trust each other that would be great, but I wouldn't be able to find anyone like that.

It's simpler to do it alone, it pays less and I get that but at the end of the day if it pays less but still pays that’s great, if I partner with someone that I am not familiar with and they steal my money then in that case I wouldn't be able to get anything at all, which would hurt me even more. So on the road to make more than what I currently make, I would start to make nothing, and I am not fine with that risk.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch gambling problem and Sliker issue on: September 29, 2022, 10:32:20 AM
Gambling is something you are legally could do after you turn 18, why would it be something that could be viewed by thousands of kids on twitch? I support the idea that it is not something that should be streamed, I mean this sliker dude himself is the proof that it would be a horrible way to continue your life if you are an irresponsible person.

At the end of the day, there would be a lot of people "if I only win once" type of thinking and thousands of people who watch gambling on twitch will see people win and assume they could too and end up losing a lot of money. This is why I support that twitch should ban gambling and remove anyone who continues to do it.
18 years old is the legal age for most countries but for some it can be lower than that. We know kids, they are curious so they can view these things but I think many of them won't engage with it because they can find it boring.

Video games are still the main thing that can make a kid addicted especially if they are famous e.g Roblox and Fortnite or any other kid games out there. Many people viewed gambling as a negative thing but yet there are still there so why would twitch ban it? Doing so would only make their income less. The problem is not by the gambling or the platform itself but it was the person who are irresponsible on doing that thing.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: September 28, 2022, 02:05:50 PM
Ethereum just completed the merge, and expected to evolve to the Ethereum 2.0 a.k.a. The Serenity soon enough. I'll go with ETH on this one for sure.
I think by the time eth have merge, that is also the time for it to become eth 2.0 but surprisingly its price fell down instead of going up as everyone expects. Don't know if that was only a cleanse up, you know removing the past vibes of the old eth and its new gains ensure to be coming from its new form.

If we are comparing eth with bnb I think it's obvious who will win here and this match up isn't even fair. We are like comparing bitcoin vs any other crypto. That is how I view them when I see this comparison. Eth is surely going to win. Bnb might be more stable and everyone expects that it'll rise more soon but they can't just disregard eth.
1494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT DID YOU STUDY? WHAT DID YOU LEARN? on: September 28, 2022, 10:41:10 AM
Every worth education or training should give us the skills that are applicable in other aspects of life. But in crypto, it is never like that. We keep learning every day in crypto

What stops us the most from becoming master traders?
What about those professional traders? You can't just disregard them or their skills. They have a high success rate in trading. Those who fail woefully could mean that they need to practice a lot. The results in our crypto trade will depend on what we study but do you think it's easy on why would someone perfect it? Even studying in a real school is hard but it takes dedication and as you can see there are still many drop outs.

What teaches us in trading is on how to work under pressure and on how to have a self control. What we learn here in crypto trading can also be applied in real life and you will notice that all seems easy. That is because trading is hard and we are used to that already.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: September 28, 2022, 09:23:09 AM
Judging by the bookmakers' estimates, the Netherlands have approximately equal chances with Spain and Germany. The Netherlands are rated at 12.7 and Spain and Germany at 8.8 and 10.7. These are fairly close estimates, indicating that the Netherlands is in the group of favorites.
By the way, why do you think that European teams will perform badly at the World Cup? The Cup is formally held in Asia, but in fact it is a time zone in Europe. Therefore, I rather expect that Europe, as always, will dominate.
I don't agree with this. Spain maybe the favorites from the UEFA region and Germany is also a quite strong side (although they have performed very poorly in the UEFA nations league). Netherlands is far behind when compared to these two teams.

I am just assuming that UEFA teams will find it hard to adjust to the climatic conditions in the middle-east. Last time, when the world cup was held in Asia (South Korea/Japan), it was Brazil who lifted the trophy. Another aspect is that none of the UEFA teams (not even Spain) seems to be in peak form right now. Brazil seems to be far ahead of all the other teams.
World Cup 2022 which is going to be played in Qatar with climate change and Conditions are surely going to have impact on many teams specially from UEFA countries because they need time for adjustment, but they have no enough time for this just because of European soccer season is on peak, so this is also going against them with teams from Africa and South America both are in better shape just because of these conditions with right now most of the UEFA top teams are in development process which is surely another factor for having not good performance from them many are coming with youths and few are having issues which are not going to settle soon.

Argentina and Brazil are also having youths, but they are better prepared for this and can do good performance, which is also big factor for having title in their pocket this time.
1496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Know the right crypto project to invest in on: September 27, 2022, 08:43:30 PM
A beginner certainly needs to learn a lot by reading references from various things,
understanding which projects are good is not something easy and it takes a process,
one of them is by doing in-depth research and that is an important part
Research is good but going in depth properly one will realise that none of the newly launched projects are worth putting your money in. Rather bitcoin has been the one performing well and is the only good option during the bear market, heck any market at all.

Majority of altcoins are based on hyped marketing. They run for a few months or so and then crash only to be never heard of again. One does not want to spend money on such coins at all.

Truely investor-worthy projects will go to mainstream markets and not to crypto.
It's clear that even the best ones do not hold a candle to bitcoin, and that's the important thing, we should not be really focusing on anything regarding this at all. I agree that if you research long enough then you will realize that everything in the crypto world is either good and old, or brand new and uncertain.

If you want to invest into a brand new project then there is  99%+ chance that you will lose money, it's quite difficult, and the best ones rarely make you more money than bitcoin does, so it's really not a good result neither. I prefer to keep it at a level where it's strictly the good ones that we already know, it's much better return.
1497  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The economic danger of China and Taiwan war on: September 27, 2022, 07:20:02 PM
of course there will be a pretty massive economic impact if the China Mainland and China Taiwan wars occur.. because global chip production still relies on Taiwan and many global companies put their R&D centers in Taiwan, and many other things where Taiwan is the a very strategic country in Asia and the world .. so if this is disturbed, of course it will make a fairly massive economic impact even beyond the war in Ukraine and Russia
So Taiwan is also a chip supplier just like Russia, hmm that's interesting but we also can't disregard the importance of china in the world. I think they have more resources which the world relies on when compared to Taiwan and Russia. Imagine if they will be put on sanction, I think you are right that the effect is going to massive than the recent Ukraine-Russian war but many users are saying that china won't fight because they already know what can happen. Not only because they care on other countries but they do care the most of their business. I remember china always wants to become number one but this war can only slows them down.
1498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term investing - Spot, Margin or Derivatives? on: September 27, 2022, 06:21:52 PM
I didn't think you are an idiot. It's just that you test a strategy and since we don't know what will happen next, you end up losing on the process. That's a wonderful experience I should say and not a dumb thing that you did.

What kind of strategy should you do now, I think you already know it but there's a worry that it might lead to you again losing.

I won't say any advice but just continue testing some strategies until you found a working one that's fit on your long-term goals.
Test a strategy and lose $35k in the process? I think that's a lot but anyone can use a small capital first when they know that it was only a test run and they are not sure if the results is going to be positive or not. Anyway, he cleared it out that what he did at first is investing and maybe he is investing blindly and ended up picking the wrong coins. It's only great tho that he didn't give up after losing massive and it seems he is learning now because there he is, asking if the new starts that he is using are correct.

@OP I think you are doing fine with it, as you said you are seeing some positive results now. Just continue doing it and I hope you will soon recover all of your losses.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: September 26, 2022, 08:30:29 PM
The Brazilian team is full of youngsters. All the players in the team play very good football. All of them are one of the most expensive club players in the world. So I wonder if they can all play with a good understanding, who can stop them. I haven't seen any win against any big team so far, I hope to do well in the future
Brazil always creates talented young players, we always see that season after season. It is a talent that is rare in every country, and fortunately Brazil can do just that. And they always get positions in the big teams in competitive leagues. But as you said, their cooperation in the country is still questionable, whether they are able to play with a good collective or not.
That is correct - Brazil always creates talented young player and so does portugal and spain.
But it is not he country it is the hard work and effort created by one person which creates the legend.
It's nothing new for Brazil they are having natural talent and best system which is surely deadly combination for world and most of the time they are doing amazing performance even their players are having no good experience because they can go through with their best abilities and can beat any team in any conditions even last two decades are having not good success of them but still they are one of the best team in the soccer world with their talented players and skills.

In this world cup they are coming with their full strength and most chances they are going to be most deadly team with having the best chance for winning this event and breaking deadlock which is having between them and UEFA countries for last two decades.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i get banned for Card Counting in online casinos? on: September 26, 2022, 06:22:21 PM
Here the question is, have you ever seen a user getting banned from an online casino for card counting?

To be clear, card counting isn't a method to always win, it's just a method to have better odds.
I think this is not possible because how can the dealer see you? Unless if it's a live game where they can also see your face in real-time. There are people who got banned in online casinos but that must be for other reasons. This is one of the advantages of the online casino, that is we can do something which we normally can't do in the real life.

Winning from this trick is not guaranteed so risking yourself in a real-life casino is not recommended but if you are only playing online then it's a must to include every time you play a certain card game. Having an increased chance of winning is always better than the standard winning rate.
