14863  Economy / Services / Re: DevScrow | ICO Escrow Service - 2.5% | Biometric Secured 👥 on: September 28, 2014, 01:31:13 AM
Devthedev handled escrow for a standard transaction for me today, and as always was extremely professional and prompt.

I would (and probably will) use again.

14865  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bitcointalk.org FULL MEMBER account AUCTION on: September 27, 2014, 06:13:42 AM
.06 is too high for a full member. There are no open signature campaigns that are using escrow. If you were to half your opening bid then I would consider bidding (we would need to use escrow of course)
14866  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign question on: September 27, 2014, 05:41:27 AM
Hey everyone,

I'm considering running a signature campaign. Would I have to manually count and check everyone who uses my campaign's posts? If I have 20 people in my campaign and each has 50 posts, that's 1,000 posts I need to manually check. Is there an easier way?

Thanks,
busterroni
If you want to avoid getting scammed then yes. This post being in meta....there are no forum requirements that you need to check every post prior to sending payment. It is my understanding that there is a lower threshold to ban users with a paid signature (I do not have a reference for this) so if participants of your campaign start to spam they will more likely get banned.
14867  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell account bitcointalk [auction] on: September 25, 2014, 04:46:48 PM
This will get you negative trust on this account probably...you should have used shill.
This is why auctions of accounts will never work. It is impossible to tell when a bid is actually being made due to people only bidding with shill accounts
14868  Other / Meta / Re: My username here has been hijacked. on: September 25, 2014, 06:09:38 AM
There was a post by him somewhere about him having a leaky queue, so we are to resend every two days. I dont know why you get no answer.
The leaky queue was not about restoring accounts, it was about something else. IIRC the "leaky queue" was regarding people wanting to change their usernames.
14869  Other / Meta / Re: Giveaway in Digital Goods section on: September 25, 2014, 05:12:42 AM
It's a fair point!  To be honest I *never* even saw the games & rounds section because I'm not a gambler, and don't venture into the gambling section.  It took me a Google search to find it. Smiley
Giveaway threads have been closed.
I don't know 100% for sure what your intentions are, I do think you intend to scam at one point, although I do not know how, regardless of your intentions it is really none of my business as I have not done business with you (nor do I intend to).

With that being said I would strongly recommend familiarizing yourself with the forum rules. I have posted a link to an unofficial list of the official rules of the forum below (created by mrep). It appears that the mods are cracking down on the rules aggressively (look at all the threads in meta about people getting banned - although I think a good number of them are from account farmers), especially with spam.

My prediction is that if you repeatedly break the forum rules (intentionally or not) you will eventually get perm banned (how many 'warnings' you will get, IDK, but probably more then 1). In regards to whatever your ultimate loan term goal is (scam or not), being achieved - only time will tell........

EDIT: added link to above promised thread

14870  Other / Meta / Re: How to remove topics i dont need from NEW REPLIES TO YOUR POSTS on: September 25, 2014, 04:36:58 AM
I believe you would need to delete your post if you insisted on using this specific feature.

An alternative is to use the 'watch-list' feature (which is right below the new replies to your posts link) and you can easily remove threads you no longer wish to "watch" by clicking on 'edit watchlist' and deleting the threads that no longer interest you. I believe that all threads you post on will, by default be added to your watchlist

I know that but I have made over 530 posts. Just searching posts and deleting them is a head-ache. Really, the legendary members might be pissed out for making so many posts.
If you click on watchlist, you should see threads that have new replies to them that you have not looked at yet. When you click on your watchlist and see something you no longer want to see copy the thread name, click on edit, then use the "find" feature on your browser to find the thread and delete it.

Did he not just get banned (30 day ban just expired) for doing this exact thing?
14873  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 10 BTC in 6 months time on: September 24, 2014, 01:45:05 AM
I am not making an offer, but I would estimate that such an option would fetch a premium of somewhere between .18 and .25 per BTC you wanted to buy (between 1.8 and 2.5 for 10 BTC), this is based on a strike price of 600 and you paying any fees associated with sending the funds to the seller upon exercising of the option.

Using escrow would substantially complicate things because you would need to find someone that will be reputable in six months today and it would be very difficult to know who will continue to be reputable (escrow member 'x' could run away with someone's money in 3 months). If you only agreed to find an escrow when the option is exercised then one of you could potentially "not want to use" any of the escrow members that are available.

WHY YOU ERASE ALL MY POST, ALL OF THEM ARE RELEVANT TO THE TOPIC. I MOST MORE THAN 100 IN 3 MONTHS BUT YOU JUST ERASE IT BANNED MY ACCOUNT FUCK YOU ASSHOLE. YOUR JUST AFRAID THAT MANY OF THE MEMBER WILL GET A HIGH POSITION NO WONDER MANY OF THE MEMBER IS NEWBIE BECAUSE YOU JUST ERASE THE POST THAT WE ARE POSTING.TIME WILL COME NOBODY WILL USE THIS FORUM BECAUSE OF THE FUCKING THINGS YOU DO.FUCK THIS BULLSHIT FORUM. Grin
I enjoy reading these threads. They allow me to make good use of my large inventory of popcorn.

Your account was likely "nuked" meaning all your posts were deleted and account banned. Likely because you were doing something especially bad (against the rules). I would say more likely then not the ban/nuking is appropriate (also even if your posts were not delated your account would likely gotten banned making the fact that your posts were deleted a moot point).

Please don't hate on me just because I am delivering the bad news.
14875  Other / Meta / Re: hacked forum account on: September 22, 2014, 03:01:17 AM
You can see this topic: Account Hacked Help Plz!
The correct thread is actually https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

The post you quoted is actually what happens when you sell your account and try to steal it back
14876  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: (WTS) Bitcointalk account/Appraisal on: September 15, 2014, 04:50:09 PM
Was just wondering what I could get for this (if anything)  I will take ALL offers! I don't need very much to complete a purchase I have to make.

This account is probably worth no more then .005 BTC if you are able to sell it.

I am no longer buying accounts
14877  Other / Meta / Re: Account Hacked Help Plz! on: September 14, 2014, 06:03:21 AM
QuickSeller, you're either a moron or the hacker of the account. Your 'evidence' is absolutely worthless.

The hacker could've not changed the password on Zedicus until it is sold, and could have changed the email to prevent PM email notifications. Then bayuo could log in, post, and do everything perfectly fine until the day the account is sold - he would've only been alerted that someone hacked his account by then.

Is it strange that he posted about his account being hacked the day he discovered it was hacked?

This is blatantly obvious. The fact that you are not mentioning this makes me believe you are the person who hacked the account, or working together with the account hacker.

Thats the only thing im not sure of. Im not sure if Quickseller was the guy who actually did the deed. In other words im not sure if he is the theif as well but Im sure he is a liar and a con and im sure he is the one controlling my Zedicus account.
Here is where you lose credibility. Logic would dictate that you either think that I am the one who hacked your account (or someone associated with someone that hacked your account) and a liar and a con or you could think that I bought your account from someone and is essentially caught in the middle of all this. It would be illogical to have doubts that I hacked your account but still am a liar and a con.

Additionally if you have any idea as to who had "hacked" your account then your beef would be with that person, not with me, nor the person who bought it from me.

The most likely scenario is that you actually did not have your account hacked at all.

@TF that kind of logic is not the logic used in the US court system and the logic does nothing to prove guilt. You are saying that because I presented evidence that points to my innocence but does not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that I am innocent that I am therefore guilty.

Sorry bayuo, I'm allergic to dumb people and your massive 3 year old tantrum just makes you look stupid. I've reached out to reason with you and you just spit out filth. Next time, try to engage someone in a normal manner instead of your weird manic spins. It's funny how much of a fuss you made out this to be but when you have the opportunity to get your account back, you act like a retard. Only wanting to pay admin for your account and not the actual owner of it. Makes sense. All I know is that you fucked up bad.

If badbear/ theymos would like proof or transaction records, I would happily be able to provide them to show that I am not Quickseller. They will be able to see my negotiations with Quickseller including the 1.1 BTC transaction for what I spent on this account on the blockchain.

From now on, I will only be dealing with Quickseller to get my BTC back.

Points and laughs.. Did you really think i was going to give you some btc you moron! I would rather give Theymos 10btc before i give you a red cent. Now tuck your tail between your legs and go crawl back to whatever hole you crawled out of!

Again, loosing credibility. You previously said that you would be willing to pay me what was paid for the account, but now you say that you will not pay anything. You also had people leave trust saying that you are willing to pay me what was paid for the account. If you were lying about that then who is to say that you are not lying about having your account hacked?

Also you are doubting that I was the one who "hacked" your account but you somehow expect me to give it back to you for free. I am pretty sure I am not the only one who sees the disconnect here.

Also you are doubting the way that TF suggested the account was stolen and how to account for the PMs three days before the account was sold to me. If you have an idea as to how the account was hacked then you would have had the opportunity to stop it.

Like I said above the most likely explanation is that you did not have your account hacked, but rather sold the account to me at below market value with the intention of stealing it back from me later.

I just typed in "alcohol" and only got one result for anti hangover pills.
14880  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB: Neft Vodka on: September 13, 2014, 05:41:35 AM
Where do you live?

In the states, I will discuss further over PM
This sounds a lot like the OP is underage and is trying to buy alcohol with bitcoin over the internet. Very smart.

Great assumption... very smart.

I want some because its limited edition.

You realize if I were underage and wanted booze real bad, I could just buy some from cryptothrift.

I didn't say it would be a bad or immoral thing. I was actually implying that it would be a very cleaver thing to do.

I don't think cryptothrift has any auctions for "alcohol" right now. Either way I hope you find someone to help you with your specific drinking desires.
