I just got back from a conference where one of the topics was blockchain and crypto usability. The conclusion is that crypto s still too complicated to be used by ordinary people since most of users are IT guys and geeks. This is correct. It would be 2 weeks to teach my parents to use crypto easily and safely.
So people, make things LESS complicated in order to increase acceptance.
Well the fact that IT people can just easily understand it but for an ordinary people of course it will be very difficult for them. So you are right, crypto currency is not easily to learn if people are not an IT, but even they aren't IT if they can easily cope up, then that's way better. |

Well 21 million volume of bitcoin will never be increase, it is already published that it is only limited for 21 million. And if they are going to increase the limit of it, maybe the value of it in the price market cap will just decrease. |

I am done with faucets, most of them only give few satoshis and sometimes others are just taking advantage of us.. as of now I have no other site to get bitcoin, as I am hesitant to try new sites, as I have a bad experience in investment scams, though not big.

I think their is too little when it comes to growing your bitcoin if your into trading the risk is high but if your a freelance worker or a jack of all trades growing it will take time.
In trading the risk is always their and I can say there is no safe way of growing out your bitcoins. this is a good talk,I thik the bitcoin will be on the high price in the 2017,because now the coin is attracting more people than that before.
The most will dont even know what will happen with Bitcoin in that year and that is the problem but it will be maybe a better year than this year so that is nice. But the value can be not that high now in this year because it was already keeping stable so that is bad. Actually we can guess since bitcoin price is high ATM ( 580$ ) like it was in 2014 now I am guess it will break all its record and reach 800+ in 2017.Also many people might think of selling BTC this may also effect the price.  Wow if it will reach $800 then it will really going to satisfy my expectation regarding the bitcoins price. I hope it will going to happen in the 2017. |

Well I think fiat will not be worthless even if bitcoin cross that price because many will trade it into fiat and fiat will still be used by many because the government will not let bitcoin overthrow bitcoin.  Fiat money will always be needed, it will be just worthless when all the countries will going to have an agreement and they are going to abolish the use of fiat money. And they will just only have one currency at all, or the universal currency. Which is the bitcoin is going to be the first option. Only if, that happens. |

Selling everything will be not that best and that is because there are still many people that wants to make some profit with Bitcoin and that would be nice.
But of course it can be really hard to know what is going to happen later with the value of Bitcoin.

people are stopping using bitcoins because there are allot of scammers around and the bitcoin is allot worth so i understand why they dont take the risk it would be such a shame if you lose just 1 coin because its worth 600 dollar.
Well is somehow relevant also that people are stopping using bitcoin, but also another reason is maybe the country or government doesn't allow their citizens to use bitcoin. I just don't know what country is that, maybe there are certain countries that are like that. |

Well faucet are definitely fast and free but the thing is, once you already earned with faucet. Do you accept the fact that the amount you can earn with it is really small? I think still faucet can be a good source of income if you are a faucet site owner and you have so many advertisers to your site. actually faucet is not absolutely free, since you must type in a captcha, waiting,watch ads yeah do something that are very tedious to get a very small amount, I think the one is absolutely free is just the giveaway, because the only thing that you have to do just post your username or something fun that's it just in my opinion it called for free. we do not spend any money for it. and typing captcha not need hard work, so that the small result was reasonable. Yeah I guess the pay for faucet sites are reasonable because there is no easy way of getting big amount of money or bitcoin. It will just depend to the difficulty of work. But I hope faucet site owner will make a gimmick and going to change the rate they give for their visitors and give a big amount for it. |

I think investing is now better but if you combine them both it even would be better these days.
I think the bitcoin can rise up to a high amount this year without any doubts.
Saving your money isnt a form of investment because the interest earned is pretty much low, even if you compound them over for a year period then you will get the interest rate will be lower than the yearly inflation rate. That means you are losing money each time you save them up, however atleast you are exposing your funds to a smaller risk. On the other hand there is always a safe deposits which could be consider as a form of investment, kinda combination of both saving and investing. But in terms of bitcoin saving money and just wait for the price increase I think we can consider it as a form of an investment. As many people are buying bitcoin so they are already invested money for buying bitcoins for the hope of they will get profit once the bitcoin halving occurs. So, that's just my cent about saving of bitcoin is also a form of investment. put money in bitcoin certainly the type of investment, just like when you buy gold. I have put enough money in bitcoin when the price under $500 because I dare to do this because of halving. if there is nothing halving I would not dare to do this. and better do things as usual, grow my bitcoin with the signature campaign and trading. I guess that is also a type of investment because there is a transaction happened, buying and holding. When you are buying something and going to sell it again, well that can be considered as an investment. |

I would do both, basically bitcoins job is not time specific so once I get home at 5 pm i would give all my time for it. And if bitcoins income continues to impress me I will surely leave the job !
I too prefer the same. Its better to have a good day job, so that one could earn good amount periodically and can have additional earning for the comfort of living. Won't go full on bitcoin. If you do both, it would be quite tiring, and you do not have time to rest. so you have to take which one is better. Actually, do both is good but yeah it's quite tiring. You don't have time to rest on your free time, but you can earn more money, combined your day job and part time on bitcoins. I've done both, but this is not effective because it was too tired, so I was sick. because doing in bitcoin also takes more time. unless you are just earn of signature campaign Maybe you just need to have a proper management of your time in working both your daily job and bitcoin job. It is very tiring if you are working for a rush and you are just working while you are still not finish to your other job. You must work when you already done for your daily job. |

Signature campaign is the best option for those who has no other option of earning bitcoins, like they don't know trading, they have no skills like designing or programming skills or any other special skills, so the only best option remains for them is signature campaign that doesn't require any special skill to be done. Well it is already a long time ago that Brazil has more than 150 stores that accepts bitcoin now, but I guess it is already 250+. I am waiting for some one to update this thread on how many are already there in Brazil that are accepting bitcoins to there stores already. |

Definitely you got it, even this year is going to be the year for halving but for sure the price increase will going to occur on the date that we don't know. Maybe it will happen after the halving, but most sure about it, is that take effect when for next year. I think the fastest effect of halving, when approached halving, prices will rise high enough. but after halving I do not know, there are several possibilities like a dump. and true as you say, the effects will be felt in the next year. Me either I don't know what will happen when the price already rise and halving already occurs. I hope good thing will happen before the end of the year and good effect will happen for the year of 2017. For sure it will definitely becomes a year for bitcoin. |

For a newbie like me that's just starting, this topic is pretty scary. I feel like starting in the cryptocurrency world now could be a huge waste of time/efforts. And there's too many altcoins to just pick one and hope this one is "the future"... Ethereum maybe?
Don't be scared out because of this kind of thread, as I can see there is no reason that bitcoin will just be destroyed easily. So stay calm, and wait for other updates but don't just believe easily on this kind of topics without basis. I will just believe this , if op can show some of proofs that bitcoin is now being destroyed. |
