Any news from operators would be appreciated.  I ended up trying another pool ATM.

But would love to go back to 50BTC if i could get speeds back, and invalids not going crazy to often.
14942  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Should I sell my Jalapeno? Seems to be working fine, but... on: May 29, 2013, 03:59:51 AM
A lot depends on BFL.  If they get process working good and start shipping lots... then selling sooner is better.   But if they keep going slowly like normal... price will prob slowly go down and you can mine and not worry.

If you see BFL post a huge list of shipping dates... sell lol. But i dont think we expect that.

Also try scanning with multiple programs.  One malwarebytes, avg both free.   I would reboot and try again.  Some can be a pain to get rid of.

Norton is good for one thing.... rebates lol.  But on a side note +1 for you being proactive and not trusting just any program.

Try another anti-virus.  Some can be real pains to get rid of on malware.  Is it first time you have gotten this warning, or is it happening with other programs?

Isnt June quite a push to build company that has no building yet and says it will build one ... get equipment... employees... ect?

Wish it was true, but sounds to good to be true.

How you say when user... not "when i".... throws up some flags for me.
14947  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: May 28, 2013, 04:27:13 PM
I do not think they are a scam - instead a poorly managed group that is over-promising and under-delivering.

With that said - I still have a Jally on order from Feb. We'll see how long it actually takes to get here - or if.

I want to believe they are legit.  But very hard with their actions. And if they are legit with all the problems and delays one can only wonder how long they can keep going.   I will only believe when i see many many more unites go out.... that is only way i would be able to order off them.

What is your share's difficulty setting?
I tried setting it to 2 for 7970 cards (per their advice for miners with >500MH/s power), but I noticed that it negatively affected my performance, so now I am back to level 1 for all cards.

EDIT: One card had a spike of 33 (and counting) invalids over the last hour, so my  24-hour stats are now 46463 (35) cumulative for all cards.

Can you please share your settings you are using?

Are you using a backup pool or anything of thiers? Also what port just 3333?

Ive tried a few things.... my speed ultimately goes down.   Never gets up to proper speed.  And eventually invalids just go crazy.

Growing pains from it moving from 17 to 19+ so quick?  If anyone finds solutions please help with ideas.

Anyone else tonight seem to lose some speed? And also have invalids increase?
14951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining vs Litecoin mining on: May 28, 2013, 03:18:34 AM
Is there any site that makes it easy to get Litecoin to Dwolla?  I looked a little bit couldn't find one.

I personally have a huge number of invalids Sad.  To bad their support is down to talk to on site.
14953  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [BitAxe.ca] ASIC Mining Equipment Manufacturer - JUST LAUNCHED!! on: May 25, 2013, 05:07:05 AM
We don't have AVALON ASIC chips. You have to send yours in if you want full assembly.

Once the orders for fully assembled AVALON supplied ASICs reaches a threshold then we will order a batch of chips from Avalon.

You can order PCB's that fit your Avalon ASIC now however.

If you say this why does website state your in phase 3 "Build and sell Avalon ASIC Rigs and all the components. We will carry stock from the smallest screw upto an entire fully assembled ASIC rig!"   Is the chip itself not in your phase 3 statement?

Show pics of PCB's for us please.

14960  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Should i order a 5ghs asics from bfl on: May 19, 2013, 07:57:34 AM

Thanks when i have a few weeks ill take a guess instead.  much better at guessing anyways.

I predict BFL is in close to same spot in a few weeks. Maybe a few more reviewers sent out.... or first few.  But no massive flow.   But i have no crystal ball.
