http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_deposit

Handing a check over would be teller deposit.
The logistics are different but the risks are the same.
14942  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying 3.1 BTC - Wells Fargo/Key Bank on: August 28, 2014, 04:44:43 AM
I'm not sure what you're asking.  I'm looking to buy 3.1 BTC for 1580 USD, method of payment is direct deposit into your WF or KB checking account.
Direct deposit = depositing a check

Very risky.

I disagree. When the OP started his campaign he had to compete with PD who was offering similar terms but somewhat lower rates. Now that PD is scamming users into advertising for free (making them think they can earn money by using their affiliate links) and engaging in shady things like paying staff above market rates and then magically getting a list of banned users.

Maybe dooglus can let us know if either of these things are provably fair.....

I don't really know what you're talking about. I don't follow the signature campaign world very closely.

I think it's fine to change your rules each month as the environment changes and the competition changes. If he retrospectively changed things, that would be good, but to say "from now on, it's like this..." is fine.
The main point is that PD is paying staff/mods a much higher rate then other members, and the OP of PD somehow knew which of his members were banned in the previous month....seems very fishy to me.

The point of me mentioning you was the fact that PD had kicked out the vast majority of their users in their signature campaign but have offered to let them use affiliate links in lieu of gettingi paid per post. As you likely know from running JD, you will have very few new members sign up once your site has been running for close to a year as PD has been. IMO PD is essentially tricking members into giving them free advertising by saying they can use affiliate links but not get paid per post.

EDIT: I was trying to use a pun on words when I was asking if the affiliate link deal was provably fair.

yeah him chaging rules in the campaign early is kinda fishy, you should leave it the way it is OP untill you get more ground.  and since sites in negative he might decide to run with people coins if he cant make none for himself.

EDIT: As the OP mentioned there is less competition so there is no reason to try to get members to stay by paying more because he is more or less the only "shop" in town.
14945  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: SELLING HERO ACCOUNTS X2 on: August 28, 2014, 01:23:24 AM
This is way too cheap, something is not right here.
In theory you could buy both now, join with both on Dice's signature campaign and start earning money back. The ROI might be 2-3 months at most.

What isn't right is that the OP is not willing to accept escrow. At least not any escrow on this site. The OP is only willing to use an escrow service that is part of a website (like btcrow). It is impossible to prove if a digital good like a forum account was actually transferred to the buyer.

I would not be surprised if the OP is a alt of Bayuo
14946  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling senior and hero member accounts on: August 27, 2014, 09:40:20 AM
I'll offer .27 for a Senior member that isn't in a good campaign. I think that's a decent offer, as it'd take 3 months to make it all back.
No thanks. I can wait for signature campaigns to open up when the ROI time will be much less.
14947  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling senior and hero member accounts on: August 27, 2014, 12:26:16 AM
I'll offer .25 on a Senior, or .35 if it's in a good campaign. PM me.
That is much too low. Accounts that are enrolled in a good signature campaign are in demand and will sell for more.

That's my offer, if you're still selling an account you're clearly asking for too much.

Nobody likes resellers that take way too much of a profit.
I can wait for the right buyer who is willing to pay an appropriate price.

Devon was again very professional and well worth what he was paid/tipped for his services.

15 BTCs for my account.
PM sent
14951  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTB] forum accounts, member, full member, senior, hero on: August 25, 2014, 11:55:35 PM
Bump.

As of now I am primarily looking for hero and legendary accounts.

As an FYI to potential sellers, accounts that are not enrolled in a signature campaign will obviously be worth less then accounts that are enrolled in a signature campaign.
14952  Economy / Services / Re: [DiceBitco.in] [Make the most out of your sig!] Make coins by simply posting! on: August 25, 2014, 10:47:26 PM
Feel free as well not to join our campaign next month, and good luck on finding a better deal. And i say that with ZERO irony.

With that said, most probably tomorrow we will release info about September sig campaign!

Thank you all again. Smiley
I hope you aren't going to make existing members compete with each-other on a time basis to be able to continue to participate in your campaign. I think if someone is making quality posts then he should not need to rush to this thread to re-enroll.

EDIT: fee free to cut as many poor quality posters as you like, but let the users who are making good, quality posts stay.
14953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTB] hero accounts on: August 25, 2014, 10:05:31 PM
I don't know why the heck someone would sell his/her account for such low price, seeing that any active member can get this value and a few months trough ad campaigns, but good luck anyway.
They are beign used in IPO scams or something like that, it seems trustworthly after hero members are posting in these that they have invested. But luckily people are starting to discover this already and these scams luckily changed to lower numbers slowly.

You realize that now that this behavior is condoned by the forum and out in the open for everybody to know about, nobody trusts anybody anymore ,right?

You do realize this right? You do realize that you guys personally have had a direct impact on the downfall of this forum, correct?
If this activity was not done out in the open then it would be done in ways so that people would not know this happens. People would assume that a senior account is trustworthy so they would be willing to send their money to a senior account first while getting nothing in return.

Like I said .4 is only my starting price. I am willing to pay more for the right account.
14955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTB] hero accounts on: August 25, 2014, 09:52:23 PM

The buying and selling of accounts is allowed here.

It might be allowed here but its gross and stupid and you should be ashamed of yourself for helping fraudsters to propel the duplicitous, underhanded behavior which is currently driving the remaining faith and integrity out of the entire cryptosphere.

You're basically a person who sells fake Social Security or ID cards. Its a shady, morally repugnant business and in any other context than the present it would be illegal.
I would have to disagree with you on this one. Anyone that is able to get scammed just because they are dealing with a senior or a hero account deserves to get scammed. If you have not dealt with someone before then you should obviously use escrow.
14956  Other / Meta / Re: Been Pissing me off lately, anyone else? on: August 25, 2014, 05:20:56 PM
How do you know he was banned for 30 days?
14957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTB] hero accounts on: August 25, 2014, 04:34:31 PM
lol, you want to buy Hero Account for 0.4 BTC, here so many buyer who want to buy even 3-5 BTC.
And you think any Hero member will sell his account for just 0.4 BTC, I do not think it.
I said that my offers will start at that rate, they may be higher depending on the account. Also the hero member would likely have little use once the IPO/ICO has been completed .
14958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [WTB] hero accounts on: August 24, 2014, 06:00:33 PM
Do you have a hero account that was used for an altcoin IPO that you no longer need?

Do you have a hero account that you want to sell for any other reason?

I am wanting to buy hero accounts. The accounts must have positive or neutral trust.

I am not looking to spent huge amounts, my starting offer will generally be around .4 BTC equivalent  unless the account is very close to legendary status or is legendary. I can pay in LTC, NMC, DRK or BTC but the price will be based in BTC.

Please do not use the actual account to post on here that you want to sell it, as members will often send negative reputation to accounts that are for sale or that are known to have been sold.

The buying and selling of accounts is allowed here.
14959  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] 3 Hero Bitcointalk Accounts on: August 23, 2014, 10:26:58 PM
Any buyers of these accounts willing to share why they purchase them?
The most common reasons are to participate in signature campaigns and to help promote their new altcoins.
14960  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] 3 Hero Bitcointalk Accounts on: August 23, 2014, 10:21:58 PM
I go to 0.7 For first hero account
I sent you a PM regarding this one.
