14941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we expect "average Joe" to remember passphrases to his Bitcoins? on: May 01, 2017, 02:21:25 PM
It's something which seems crucial to me for reaching mass adoption (in addition to scalabilty of course...).
Already on this forum there is a shitload of people losing their Bitcoins by forgetting passphrases, the private keys, the dat file etc...
So I would like to know what technological solutions could be proposed for this problem.

To make a comparison, a lot of people are forgetting their credit card code (even if it's only 4 digits...) or losing the card and the centralized solution to this is the bank providing new card/code.

Which decentralized solutions to this problems could you think of?

I think it's quite normal for people to forget many things, and especially passwords if they are long and complicated. But when someone start to use any cryptocurrency he need to know basic things about security and I think many of them make a mistake at the very beginning. What we need is to make backup of our private keys/seed word/dat file and save that in several places to be sure for future.

Only way to replace passwords is to use fingerprint or maybe eye scan, but it's not so easy to implement in wallets today. The question is how reliable these methods would be,strong password is in my opinion still the best protection.
14942  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [FaucetHub] [NEW] COINPUTER up to 100 satoshis per claim on: April 28, 2017, 09:39:00 AM
Hi, I just want to share with you this new faucet:
http://coinputer.website
Do not forget to have a FaucetHub account first before claiming!

P.S. This is my first time making a faucet so feel free to suggest anything in order to improve it. Thanks!  Smiley

I just try your faucet and my first claim was 69 satoshi which is very good for 30 min claim time.I am interesting what is minimum reward and do you have referral service because I do not see ref link on the page?

For more security you can add few anti-bot links along with captcha, and if you looking for some additional improvements for your faucet check my list with best faucets to see how they operate.
14943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: April 27, 2017, 03:11:49 PM
As a newcomer in bitcoin, i want to know about this field. can anybody suggest me which wallet will be more suitable for me, not only using purpose but also matter of security? I am eagerly waiting for your kind advice.
Would you please show me the best way regarding wallet.
Thanks in advance.

Although you are a beginner and need to start with the simplest solution regarding wallet, maybe it is best to start from the very beginning with some good desktop wallet instead online wallets which are very simple to create but regarding security they are not recommended.

You could read in this thread that most important thing is to you have full control over your private keys,so you should consider wallets that give you that possibility.Since there is many wallets you can use,I suggest you to read about some of the most popular these days.

I've got a strange behaviour on the quick buy option on my mobile device
When i click on the link it refills until my storage is full

I.e. my storage is empty and i want to buy some beer it refills me 150 beers instead of 25

Can anyone confirm that?

@mex
I already made a support ticket to it

I had some problems before playing VP on my smartphone but it is solved with clear cache&cookies,go to settings of your browser and check all boxes, then delete all.If this not help try to reinstall your browser, maybe you have problem with current version.

I use UC browser on my smartphone and there is no such problems, everything is work in order and site is very fast.Today I withdraw 50k to FH,thanks VP&mexicantarget Smiley
14945  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ♛Game Of Bitcoins♛BTC✪DOGE✪LTC✪DASH♛Best Faucets♛New Design♛ on: April 26, 2017, 10:38:56 AM
The new design is MUCH nicer and user friendly from previous version. Keep up the good work Smiley

The new design is certainly much better then old one, manual timer is something that can be very useful for users these days since many faucet have insufficient funds so user can start timer only after successful claim, and list can be sort by name, time, reward, type.Thank you for your comment Smiley

I like the logo.

I'm glad you like the logo,I have some idea to add something new to dragons so it will looks even more beautiful Wink
14946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Europe consolidating itself as a Bitcoin Haven on: April 25, 2017, 10:47:47 AM
Countries like France, Germany and the UK have already established regulatory frameworks for Bitcoin companies, users and traders. Other European countries have offered their unique regulatory frameworks with clarity, to ensure there exists no conflict between local businesses and regulators due to ambiguous regulations and policies like India.

Smaller countries such as Malta, an archipelago in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and the North African coast, have begun to consider Bitcoin as a legitimate currency and revolutionary technology. In fact, Malta’s prime minister announced the approval of a national strategy to promote Bitcoin and Blockchain technology.

In detail, Malta government’s vision is to transform Malta into the Silicon Valley of Europe. The country will focus on the development of innovative technologies such as Bitcoin and Blockchain technology to stay at the forefront of European technological innovation.

Do you agree Bitcoin have bright future in Europe?

I think Bitcoin have future in Europe and in the rest of the world, there is interest of many countries regarding Bitcoin and blockchain technology.Japan recognized this and accepted BTC as legal method of payment and this was very good news and signal to others to follow the same path.

Malta is saw the opportunity and I hope they will succeed to become Silicon Valley of Europe.Other EU countries have adopted some rules and regulations regarding BTC and blockchain technology and this is good for attracting new investors and opening new jobs.

The only thing that remains questionable is EU proposal to try identifying users of BTC,as they say in order to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.Something must be done regarding that, but many users do not like to lose their privacy when using BTC.

Great site! I love the new design! And thank you for adding my site!

Thanks for the support,I'm glad you liked the new design Smiley

You have very nice promotion on your faucet few days ago,100 satoshi unlimited claim. Now I see you have new script,it is much easier for users to claim now and reward is very good for 30 min claim.I just visited your faucet and it seems to have problems with the loading speed,it stuck for some 20-25 seconds before loading faucet page.
14948  Other / Politics & Society / Re: French Elections - 1st Round finished on: April 24, 2017, 04:42:04 PM
The results for the first round that took place yesterday was the following:

The second round should be on 7th May, 2017 with Macron vs Le pen. I believe that the results will be the same as the U.S, just like Trump won, Le pen will too as they somehow share the same thoughts, what do you guys think?

The first round of elections ended up expected and in second round it will be very difficult for Le Pen to win because Melanchon and Fillon support Macron. They are only in this election to ensuring Macron win agains Le Pen,and if you can win alone you need some friends to help you.In this way they want to make sure that Le Pen can not win.If that happened France would probably become big problem for the EU considering La Pen political attitudes.
14949  Economy / Speculation / Re: The question is when: Bitcoin at $2000. 2017 or 2018? on: April 24, 2017, 03:10:26 PM
There is some general opinion that BTC price can only go up from now on,but the past has taught us to be cautious when it comes to price prediction for BTC.There are some good signs for BTC in the world, price is very stable for months which is good, but problem with block size is still there and some bad news can at any time turn the situation in the opposite direction.

If we take in consideration that price is now around 1250$ and there is eight months to the end of the year we need 750$ increase in price to reach 2000$.Nothing is impossible, but in my opinion it would be difficult reach this goal this year and keep that price stable.

14950  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Be aware of faucets BTCinBTC.com and BitcoBall.com on: April 24, 2017, 01:31:22 PM
Thanks for the warning. I checked now, and saw that my referral link was changed only one btcinbtc.com faucet. It's annoying thing, because I had some very active referrals on both faucets. I don't know is it worth to continue promote these faucets...
Maybe admin see which accounts have many refered users and decide to change ref link to pay less referral commission.
@Lucius, can you share which faucets with these script also changed ref link, because I think users need to know dishonest faucets.

Some time ago the same thing with the change of the referral link is happened on another faucet who uses the same script, and the owner say he did not do anything and he does not know why change has occurred. He is here on forum and his faucet is xoloniex.

I know that there is few more who also change referral links but I am not 100% sure, but on all faucets with this script something is wrong with referral service. One day I have almost 2000 satoshi ref payment and then 100-200 satoshi day max.

I think changes can be caused deliberately by the owners or some accident to owner database can be a cause, but this is worst thing for us who promote them,we lose referrals and income from them...
14951  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Be aware of faucets BTCinBTC.com and BitcoBall.com on: April 20, 2017, 01:14:54 PM
I would like to point out two faucets to be doubtful. They are BTCinBTC.com and BitcoBall.com. Both deleted my accounts, in which there were satoshis that could not be withdrawed due to the faucets dried out.

Now they are still operating. I suggest staying away from them.

The owner of these faucets contacted me few months ago to add his faucets on my list,so it is same owner of both faucets for sure. Also he have at least one more faucet in addition to these two.

Yesterday I notice that my referral link is changed on btcinbtc so I lost all referrals there, nice way for owner to not pay referral commission. This is not only case when such things happen with this script, many owners just change ref link after some time. One of them say he did not do anything and that change is happened by itself.

In any case this is very bad for users who try to promote faucets which use this script,at the end we lose all referrals.
14952  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ♛Game Of Bitcoins♛BTC✪DOGE✪LTC✪DASH♛Best Faucets♛Daily Updated♛ on: April 17, 2017, 03:11:56 PM
After a long time my site have new design and now it is much easier for users to claim from faucets. One option that is most missed is timer, now there is timer with manual activating after successful claim.I chose this option because many faucets may be without funds and it makes no sense that the timer is activated after you visit such faucet. So after successful claim user activate timer.

The list is completely customizable and user can sort faucets by name, type, reward or time. Some things related to the design needs more work but the site is fully operational.I hope you like it and every comment and suggestion are welcome.

The most accurate list with best faucet is here : http://www.gameofbitcoins.com

Your site has been really helpful to me. It always give me the best faucets which are alive and pay in real. Thanks for the good work bro. You have really made the life of faucet workers easier.

Thanks for your support and nice words,I hope you will continue to use my list in the future Smiley

I try to keep the list always updated, but there is so many changes even on a daily basis, but BTC list is checked every day because is most used. What is certain if you visit my site that you will see only best paying and checked faucets so you can claim some free coins and save a lot of your time Wink

14953  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHUB.io - Your microwallet - 24/7 support in chat by our staff & community on: April 16, 2017, 01:40:43 PM
Today I try to claim on some faucets and they give me message that my BTC address is banned, noting strange because I have faucet list and many faucet owners have a very strange method of a banning people from their faucets.

Then I get in contact with one faucet owner and I found out that two users post some bitcoin address public in FaucetHub chat claiming that these are addresses from bots. One of these addresses was my address I use for years as my address for faucets.

User who are publicly published address is aidonker

Public disclosure of inaccurate data on chat should not be allowed and should be adequately sanctioned, especially when damaging someone's reputation and in my case causing to be banned from faucets together with my referrals.
14954  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Who keeps wasting time on faucets? Am I the only one who's thinking this? on: April 16, 2017, 01:10:48 PM
I'm an ex-faucet owner... and an ex-faucet user. Lately I keep wondering:
Why do people keep on claiming for peanuts, when they can earn more with fi captcha work?

Why do faucets even exist? Why spent hours clicking anti-botlinks, struggling with popups and -unders, ...?

As a ex-faucet owner and ex-faucet user I'm surprised that you even ask this question.Faucets are easiest and simplest way to new users familiarize themselves with the world of cryptocurrency and get their first coins almost for free, they have invest only some of their free time.

I get my first BTC mostly from faucets in time when price is around 200$,daily was claim and get from refs around 400-500k satoshi, now all that is worth almost six times more.Do you and your friends posted in this thread think it was wasted time?

I see that you suggest people to work solving captcha,do you know for what bad things that solved captcha is used?

Faucets are here to bait idiots in reviewing their ads.

Calling people idiots just talking about you,you are most likely sissy boy that get everything in life on a silver plate and you have no idea that there are countries in the world where people work all month for 20-30$.

14955  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: This faucet exceeded it's safety limits-Cheating faucet users! on: April 15, 2017, 10:33:37 AM
i don't know if the owner of this site is really not paying but as far as i know because i have experienced also creating my own faucet we really have to limit our payouts because of the bots site for example i will set the faucet limit to 10k satoshi per 30 mins so if it exceeds it will not pay until 30 minutes is over

I agree with this guy!!

I'm a faucet owner and ,,,man .,,,it really annoys me  when i see these anti faucet owner threads.

oooo the evil faucet owners are trying to rip us off!!!...

Seriously Huh

A faucet ...GIVES AWAY BITCOINS...in return for this wonderfully charitable gesture, we receive revenue by way of advertising and we are payed by the number of clicks we get on various ads and ...THE VOLUME OF TRAFFIC...which is the main source of rev....clicks are icing on the cake

Seriously , if i ran any of my  faucets deliberately to give 0 reward, just so i could collect advertising revenue.... that would work for about 2 hrs . Users don't like not getting what you say you will give them and they will vote with their feet every time.. Your traffic would fall to 0 in a matter of hours and your advertising revenue would disappear...It wouldn't be worth it.

Clearly ...your comments in this thread support that!

I'd suggest as darklus has said, that  this guy has set a payout limit ...but further to that, is under attack by a BOT.... Now there's the real crime !!!
He's probably not paying attention ,or he doesn't know what to do ,  or his mom is sick and he's visiting her in hospital ...i dunno...but i can tell you his traffic will be almost nothing as his users get more and more annoyed with his faucet and bail....it happens really quickly believe me.

The sad truth is that the real issue should be about crooked users and all these Bloody BOTS.

We are plagued by BOTS !!!!!!

Users are constantly coming up with new ways to extract rewards faster than intended and take more than their fair share and most of the time we don't make a cent off these attacks...they just cost us. Consequently we are constantly forced to come up with new ways to defeat them ...adding more layers of inconvenience to legitimate users ...and the dance goes on!!!

Some Bots are brilliant...you could almost say beneficial ...others are not so great.

I often get hit with bots that get around my timers and anti bot measures by generating new  IP's and wallet addresses rapidly , but still load my page ...and ads.....so i see a massive increase in traffic and revenue ...good hey?

Wrong, then i have an ethical dilemma , because if i knowingly allow that bot to remain attached , Then i'm then ripping off my advertisers...not so good ! Advertisers aren't stupid either , if they cant see benefits gained by advertising with you , they leave too.
So you can see  BOTS VERY BAD !!!!

Look its not easy running a faucet these days . Bitcoin is really expensive ... advertising revenue does not increase with bitcoin value ...advertisers are more reluctant to go with faucet advertising anymore ...google adsense jumped ship ...We are doing it tough.

So having a small minority of ill-informed people whinning about how unethical our behavior is ....just laughable.I'll concede that there may be a few unethical operators , but i can assure you they wont be able to last long.

So give us a break guys !!!...ok ...or you wont have any faucets to steal from  Smiley

Here's a tip for you 3x reward for next 48hrs ...enjoy

https://freebitco.in/?r=xxxxxxx

Why are you post in this old thread when safety limits I write about long time ago no more working on the same way?Now it is called send limits and faucet owners can set that limit whatever they want,at least for the FaucetHub.

You've written a bunch of nonsense which have nothing to do with today's faucets and all this in order to promote your referral link.Read forum rules and leave old threads where they belong.
14956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Girl,Tokyo,72hrs--Bitcoin Survive Challenge on: April 13, 2017, 09:41:51 AM
Since Japan is just recently recognized BTC as currency this in the video is just the beginning and as we can see it was not easy to find places where you can pay with BTC.Japan is a highly technologically developed country and I think that BTC has a bright future in the land of the rising sun.

It would be interesting to conduct this kind of research for some six months and then after one year so that we can see how will BTC actually have an impact in everyday life.

I have a strange problem when playing VP on my smartphone using UC browser, the problem appeared 2 days ago.I can buy drinks, bartender and my statistic are good but then after few clicks game is start to show me old data(credits, bartender, bonus timer),but reloding page make things correct.

Somehow game is always back to same point in past which is quite irritating for play.Good thing is that problem appears only on smartphone,on PC is working without problem.

Try clearing cookies/cache?

I solved the problem,in the settings of the browser cookie box is not marked so I delete only history/cache-with cookie deleting game is working normally.

Regarding game,it is working very nice without many popads as was the case in the past.I see many of my 140+ referrals are still active and number of active players is again above 1000 users. If you leave game now is time to come back Wink

I visited your faucet today and was unpleasantly surprised with short link you add at the beginning of the faucet. That short link brings with it 3-4 popads, one captcha and 15 sec timer. After that to claim on faucet we need to solve two more captcha and go through few more popads.

But what surprised me the most that referral link must be short as a condition for us to be paid by our referrals. All this does not look one bit friendly to users, but maybe can help you in the fight against bots.

I you ask me this is not something that will get you more traffic, but quite the opposite.
