You can stop sharing and the data will be destroyed. You decide what you want to share and for how long. this is huge! so the user has full control!! I don't think you can delete the data, you can encrypt them, so nobody else can access it. It's probably similar to privacy settings in any social media, there are stuff that can be see only to you. |

It's eminent that hodlers of certain tokens sell their tokens, which became coins at that moment, to cash out quick.
those are the ones that make the coin drop and then there's a need for some new investors to pick up the "fallen coins".
Ones its recoverd, than the real "game" begins.. and the actual value is set...
there will always be those who are really just in for the money...
This is how a market operates. If you want a token to do well, you need it to have some intrinsic value to the consumer. i do not worry about the value of GIZER it maybe it drops like 30% in the first weeks but then it will rise there are investors just waiting to buy big parts which are not willing to buy at the ico price because they know that too 30% is a significant drop, you think it's gonna drop that much after the iCO? |

I dont agree. If SOMA didnt raise much, i think the investors in now really believe in the project and are more likely to HODL. I also think that this project deserves attention and tokens will be kept by holders for a long time. I will definitely keep it. There is no Shame in being a HODLer. If you look at CMC 3 years ago, the best strategy would have been buy BTC and HODL! No reason Soma cannot do the same (not saying it will reach 5k$) it will never reach 5k, but there is a good chance for a good ROI. But ROI also depends on the price after the ICO. If it goes down, ROI won't be good either. imo hodling soma is a good idea not just due to tha partnership with utrust I think long-term investors generally get better results. It's important not to sell immediately when you see the price going down a little. Soma is a great project, it's worth holding |

Maybe it's just for advertising purposes. Young people perceive new better. It must be just an advertising sentence. When a young person is declared to be the main target, it does not mean that the other people will be threatened in the reverse way. Such sentences are very common nowadays! The Simple Agreement for Future Tokens (SAFT) is a contractual agreement whereby investors make an investment in a company in exchange for the right to a future distribution of tokens by the company upon a specified event. That's interesting.. but I don't fully understand this SAFT thing. Does this mean that you pay now but get the tokens later? Will have to do some research on this. sounds like a 3rd party escrow like project. you give them money, they invest in the project, they can the tokens, then you get the tokens oO" i dont understand if this is even rentable. Nope, one more fork is on the way and it will probably become more of a deal. Probably December will be good for icos. The November fork is a bit different, isn't it? These segwit2x guys don't want to be a new coin, they want to be the better BTC so I can imagine this just hurting the BTC price. ETH could profit which would effect the ICO but ETH was cheap a few days ago so potential investors could have gotten in already. Hardfork will be today. And segwit2x will be at November 16th. Hardfork was actually yesterday, not today. I hope ETH will rise a bit again as the price is pretty low imo. If Ethereum can recover after Bitcoin dumped in the market, it still does not mean the ICO market also comeback and Datum will raise a lot of funds fastly. I just want to see the result after first day Datum open crowdsale, it is important to help me know this project really has strong community or not  For the datum ico a cheap ETH price would be very good, since potencial investors could buy more from it and invest it in datum. LEts hope for a happy ending, these are not the best times for alts.... You can look at this from two sides, maybe if ETH will be rising, people will be more comfortable to invest since they will feel like economy is rising. I dont know, maybe we should start to reduce our expectations about ICOs, it seems like they are loosing their popularity. |

i think the not sold tokens are going to be burned and all caps corrected afterwards. i still believe in this project It is unfortunately impossible to reach their hard cap but that is fine, almost no project lately reached their hard cap and maybe they should start reducing their expectations. ICOs are not as profitable as they were few months back. |

You are right here. As good as UTrust maybe become, as long as the advertisement isn't enough it will not get a base outsite of the crypto world, and that would be not enough to be in competition with Paypal.
Good point. But aren't we trying to bring the outside in and combine it with crypto into one grand unified blockchain crazy world? That's a simplified view of how I am seeing the future. Well you can see it like bringing in the outside or bring out the inside, but in the end crypto needs to get to the masses. That's the point, otherwise even a great project like UTrust will have no chance out there. The userbase is the important part for something like this, so I hope, after the launch of UTrust they will make enough advertisment to widen the userbase fast. The thing is, Utrust wont need that much advertisements than other crypto projects because people will see the payment option on their favorite shopping sites and wont even need to know the project from before to start using it. |

In other words, you changed the ICO launch date from October 20 to November 10. Does the ICO duration will be 20 days or this period will also be changed?
What we changed is that we had originally planned to do a $1M presale (where our smart contract would generate tokens) on October 20th. However, we took in more than our goal through the SAFT, and we decided to implement new tech into our smart contract that would allow users to transfer GZR without paying gas in ETH. Because of these two reasons we decided to push back the public presale and token generation event to November 10th, bonuses will be given to the first 500 contributors (15% to the first 100 and 10% to the next 400). The ICO itself will commence shortly after the presale and it will officially close when the $18M hard cap is met, or on December 20th. Whichever comes first. We are updating our whitepaper, ANN thread and other posts to reflect the new changes, and to announce the new advisors we have brought onto the team like David Drake, James Sowers, Kevin Monserrat, Count Erik Wachtmeiser and other amazing entrepreneurs. honestly their marketing is better than most projects today. What they need is relevant celebrity endorsement, like a famous developer or something, imagine if vitalik would talk about datum, the hardcap would be reached in a matter of hours
Im not sure if they really need a celebrity. They are doing already a pretty good marketing job. And there is no way that Vitalik will talk about ICOs, all I am seeing is him correcting all the misinterpretations of what he said in interviews I don't like celebrity marketing, it is making me think that they have a crappy project and trying to hide it behind a celebrity besides the budget spending for that celebrity can spend more necessary area. you may not like it, but it does draw attention to the project rather effectively. Yes it does, everyone will easily find out the project if its popularized by celebrities. It's also quite relevant since celebrities usually are in the front row of data breeches, so celebrity commercial might be a good idea. |

I think it’s good that soma is already listed, even on ether delta, this exchange is not so user friendly but at least it is decentralized. And remember that soma will be listed on other exchanges after the ico.
As i know, every coin based on Ethereum platform is automatically listed on Ether Delta, so this is not something big. Let's wait for other exchanges, because on Etherdelta trading is almost impossible. People keep there only dust Also etherdelta not liquid and difficult if access it from smartphone. If the team want this project famous they have to add this coin on big exchange and all people will know this project You can just tell that etherdelta is shitty, but by listing every coins right on launch they are making shitloads of money. It's really not the best exchange as it produces so much trouble but it's a good starting point and gives value to coins fast. I just hate their fees, you will lose money if you cancel an order. I assume, etherdelta is also one of the easiest to get listed to, you don't really need much, that's probably why it's the first. Hope more will follow. |

i think PayPal will enter just after everything get regulated and goes mainstream, so we are talking about few years still.
When everything got regulated, utrust is already far left paypal in this technology and it will be so hard to compete utrust. Waiting for such regulations will force paypal to do nothing and let the other platform run fast. Besides, who knows how the crypto world gonna look in couple of years. Regulations will mostly likely change something and as it is with everything it will be harder to enter the market. My guess is that we shouldn't be worried about PayPal at the moment. |

In crypto there are three main things to make a project successful in the long term. The team behind the project, the community behind the project and the technology, product, service. Here we seems to have everyhting with datum. It's just the beginning so we can't know what will happen but seems a good beginning for the moment. I really hope you're right man. This does look like a good idea, let's hope the implementation is good as well. People will be very happy to get the ability to possess your own online data. Let's hope it will be worth something. It will be worth something since its worth right not, you just dont notice it. When you will be able to put a price to your data, you will look at it differently. |

I think this projects true valuation with be more than we expect given a time frame of 6 months to a year. This one is for long term hold. this is what i thought too. great to have proofen it by a senior member Q2 2018 MVP release... I don't even think to sell any STU till that period. Team is great. Total supply will not huge. I smell the profits Even after that is worth holding since the platform needs to evolve a little and gain some users before we will see full potential of it. |

If this project is completed as promised, uTrust could be a big player on the digital crypto payment market. Allthough it has been done before, and the whole is not new, it's nice to see that the idea has some extra features added to it. I might have overlooked, but does this project only works with a mobile app or will it also be using some sort of card to make a payment? Just thinking about the plastic in the pocket, but.. I rather have no card, just mobile.. I intend to lose it anyway So.. without further due, looking forward to see this project be a success. I see there are already a lot of reactions on this post, but wondered if there is still need for a Dutch translation? Would be also interested to hear this answer. But I think they will not have any card, didn't read it in the whitepaper. Nope, they don't have a card or statement about card at the moment. But they can make one like paypal in future. I dont really see a point in having a physical card since crypto is based on decentralized and digital technology. We have enough of plastic cards and coupons as it is. |
