1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 14, 2020, 06:41:33 PM
We all know cryptocurrency. We Buying and selling different types of altcoins in different exchanges. Many of altcoins have the same features, total supply, blockchain, even number of decimals, But in their prices, there is a huge difference. So, there is one question that appears at this point that "What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin ?". Is it makes a high price by listing on many different exchanges or the team works behind that altcoin/project? Or something else. This is a big question which all of us want to know.
Demand of the coin makes the price to get grow which is possible through lot of factors like utility, trading volume, community support and more importantly their development. As you said most altcoins looks same so we can't expect the copy of something to get the same result as original.
1502  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well Organized Scam Projects on: April 14, 2020, 05:03:49 PM
How can we safe ourselves from well organized scam projects? Some projects are so well crafted and in the end they scam people, to my own understand research doesn't help here at all, use case, whitepaper, team, every thing are so real and make sense, please give advice about this
You can't be 100% sure whether the project is legit or not even if you had done enough research from all the perspective that is why we can avoid investing on new projects if you don't want to lose any of your money. But when a project shown their real face then its hard for them to get away after scamming so look at the project team members first before going in to invest.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL Mutual Pool Discussion. on: April 14, 2020, 11:23:05 AM
So no cricket is going to happen in the world for the next 3 months, so we have to stay at home and enjoy the youtube and netflix for next 19 more days. Grin
Next 19 days only? I doubt within May we will see any kick off. It's going to be worst from now although it's being predicted that at the end of April, we may see a significant drop in Covid-19 affect. Still, there's ni chabce of play on May even.
I said no cricket for the next three months so the 19 days is for the lockdown period not for IPL or other tournaments anywhere.Sometimes I have been watching old cricket matches as well which is still good to watch and one of it 2011 WC final, that last six from the captain cool. Cool
1504  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobel Laureate asked India to print more money and not to worry about inflation on: April 14, 2020, 08:58:17 AM
The same thing is going to be done by most other governments as well to tackle demand and supply issue in the economy. But this could be an eye opener for all the people who have been trusting the fiat money issued by the governments which is day by day the value of the money we having is going to get decreased so we need something which cannot be printed anymore like bitcoin.
It won't be "eye opener" since fiat economy is not falling.
It is printing more money, it is inflating as hell, but it is not falling and people's faith will remain
Inflation is the sign of fall and people won't recognize it until they turns out to be hyper inflation but most governments will keep the inflation under the moderate rate so people will have their faith remain but as an individual we have to see that value of fiat is falling and falling years after years.
1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL Mutual Pool Discussion. on: April 14, 2020, 05:40:53 AM
Anyway... the news from BCCI is that they have deferred the decision on IPL 2020. We were expecting an announcement from Sourav Ganguly today, but he is likely to do that tomorrow after the address by the Prime Minister (scheduled for 10:00 am Indian time).

Last time, they had postponed the tournament to the day after the end of lockdown (15th April). So my guess is that they will do the same tomorrow as well. If the lockdown gets extended by two weeks (up to 28th April), then we can expect the new starting date as 29th April.
India is under lockdown until May 3 and its announced an hour ago. Smiley

So no cricket is going to happen in the world for the next 3 months, so we have to stay at home and enjoy the youtube and netflix for next 19 more days. Grin
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Trust Wallet! on: April 12, 2020, 07:02:14 PM
Trust wallet supports erc along with many other crypto currencies, which is light weight and simple UI so for anyone it will be very easier to navigate.

The real advantage of trust wallet is you no need to add the tokens manually, it will detect automatically once it gets received but it has three fee structure no custom fee as far as I know so you can't set fee on your own.

1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We failed altcoin!! Altcoin then did the same on: April 12, 2020, 05:21:45 PM
We can say there are people called bitcoin enthusiasts but for altcoin only we have investors so they are waiting for their opportunity to make money from that altcoins and dump all at once and forever but with bitcoin this is not the story. So most of the altcoins, lets say 99% are shits or scams that is why people lost trust and moving towards better and existing coins.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies can now be send without the use of internet. on: April 12, 2020, 04:26:26 PM
It is not new the cryptos can be send even without the internet connection.

I found an article from 2018, How can you send bitcoin without internet connection?

But I feel there will be more vulnerabilities when we install an app to send transactions without internet.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 12, 2020, 01:55:46 PM
BCCI have lot of money to spend so I don't think they have to cut the paycheck of the players, even if there is a cut those players are not going to face any difficulties in their financial status even though not many of them are not making in crores, atleast they are getting paid in lakhs.

The majority of the earnings for the national players come from endorsements and advertisements, and therefore the negative impact for them may be very limited. And the domestic season was almost completed by the time the epidemic struck. So the domestic players should be fine as well. But since the IPL got cancelled, it may negatively impact some of those T20 stars. I am talking about players such as Sanju Samson, Karn Sharma and Axar Patel, who are not regulars in the national team, but have heavy IPL contracts.
IPL franchise supposed to pay the players even if they play or not?

In the past many international players were paid when they are paid in the auctions but never got played for the IPL team since they got their home international matches.
1511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 12, 2020, 04:57:18 AM
None of the news are for me except this.

- BCCI thinking of not cutting players's paycheck.
I think in Football most of the major teams already started to cut off a huge percentage from their players. It's as much as 70% in some cases. Now it's time for cricketers too? I think cricketers do not make that much money like those footballers.
BCCI have lot of money to spend so I don't think they have to cut the paycheck of the players, even if there is a cut those players are not going to face any difficulties in their financial status even though not many of them are not making in crores, atleast they are getting paid in lakhs.
1512  Economy / Economics / Re: History Reveals There Is No Going Back for the Economy on: April 11, 2020, 09:16:21 PM
I suppose the world will be different when the pandemic and global crisis end.
Exactly it is going to change a lot and probably worse place for us to live because the unemployment will be the biggest problem the human race to face even after corona ends, Many companies are going to get closed down, inflation will get increases, and huge shock in supply and demand which will affect every economy in the world.
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best IEO exchanges for new projects on: April 11, 2020, 08:46:02 PM
Hi, today I will like to make a list of exchanges that are good for IEO since few members already create posts about bad exchanges that's needed to be avoided at all costs, if you are a new developer this might be useful for you

1. Binance Launchpad
2. Okex jumpstart
3. Huobi Prime
4. Bittrex international
5. Kucoin
6. Gate.io
7. Bitmax
8. Bithumb

These exchanges has the best history of successful IEO projects, if you have any I will like to add to the list, bad exchanges need to be avoided at all cost
Even though if they knew these are the good exchanges still they can't run their fund raising program on such exchanges due to expenses and restrictions because they need to spend huge amount of money for promotions that is why exchange which don't have enough funds chooses ICOs and other promotions which doesn't need hundreds of thousands of dollars to be paid from their pocket.
1514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest mistake Bitcoin maximalists doing !!! on: April 11, 2020, 06:40:16 PM
So you are saying bitcoin is getting less manipulated since more USD or stable coin pars starts to take the place of bitcoin trading platforms, but it is not going to take the price of bitcoin into ground that is why bitcoin whales move the coins very less compared to altcoin's.

Miners have no business in dealing with the manipulation, most of them will mine and sell, only who had more coins in the early stages are hoarding it and liquidate for the expenses.
1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if BTC never reaches all time high? on: April 11, 2020, 03:17:00 PM
Maybe this indicator is just a coincidence,

Hey guys, bitcoin enthusiasts are always increasing because bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, when you buy a cup of coffee, and pay it with 1Lot of shares, the coffee seller will refuse your payment Roll Eyes,
but if you pay for coffee with bitcoin, the coffee seller will receive your payment Shocked
Yes, stock is an asset whether bitcoin is a payment mode so its not okay to compare it with a random stock. No one knows when it will reach new height but will for sure and that same kind of mindset has been with most of the crypto enthusiasts.
As I understand, he is not comparing the local stock from crypto but he is trying to put an example of what could possibly to happen when we are using crypto. Of course, they are different and we are pertaining to become a currency not an asset but most of us here are considering as an investment rather than to be as another payment option.

If we all are supporting crypto, it definitely, we can see a huge market demand and a way of seeing another ATH. But unfortunately, we are far from that. We can see pumps but not good enough to make it.
We already had enough to be honest, bitcoin reached from 3000 to 7000 in real soon but those stocks are not upto that level and more over after this corona ends we may have more support coming to cryptos from new people because now they may realized and recognized what bitcoin is actually created for.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 10, 2020, 08:06:35 PM
Most of those workers will be working there from different countries as welll so they may not get those packages offered by US government so they have nothing now. They must be having some kind of associations or not? to help them in such crisis and they should be also called as organized workers since its is legal to gamble there.

1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: April 10, 2020, 03:32:02 PM
Online wallets are even worse. Just use wallets without registrations. I dont now why people like custody solutions so much
Because it's simple and fast. That is why people like to use online wallets. As long as you store your private key carefully, I believe your property will always be safe and no one will be able to steal it from you.
Online wallets doesn't give you private key, they manage it by themselves so you have no control over your funds, even the authority of that wallet can take all the money and run away still you can't do anything.Wallets with private keys are decentralized but some of them are not really decentralized so choose your wallet wisely.
1519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Compliance exchange or decentralized exchange, which one do you prefer? on: April 10, 2020, 02:10:39 PM
There are more and more centralized exchanges, but less and less trust. Which one do you prefer between regulated compliance exchanges and decentralized exchanges?
Trust and reputation is an important factor for choosing anything centralized so people will go for most reputed exchanges like binance, kucoin and in decentralized exchanges also everything can't be trusted so find an exchange which has good reviews if it says they are decentralized.
1520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: April 10, 2020, 12:24:21 PM
That is why no people is really interested to invest on the ICOs in 2020.They only come with an idea which is just copied from other existing project with slight changes even they copy their whitepaper and start their fund raising programs so all they were interested is to make money not to deliver their project/product.
Everyone is aware of this already because this is already existing in 2019. This is the reason why investors need to study closely the project before deciding to invest in it because if an unfinished project has raised a good amount, they will be automatically gone without the knowledge of all their investors. Leaving all the investors pennyless which made them very unfortunate.

Very few projects can achieve now their ICO targets. Because people are now smarter and to add the fact that we are now facing global economic crisis, I don't think this is a good time for a blockchain project to hold crowdsourcing. If they have good foundation and intentions, and if they see that their platform will be a hit, they can always tap the private sector to fund their developments. In that way, they may have the chance to launch their project even without the help from the community.
Private sales are also not good as we expected so many investors completely skipped new projects from their investment plans and stuck with trending altcoins and bitcoin so they can make money without taking much risks.
