nice man, thank you! your approach is the common one to use fibo extensions. my unorthodox method of using the fibo retracements is based on that: I was always wondering that some price levels were important in the past but the high was not fully formed. if you look at the picture maybe you will get a glue what I mean. the 61.8% and 78.6% level had and impact to the price but the high was not known at this time. this is what I always wondering about if I work with fibo retracements. the high is not known but if you look later back you can recognize some fibo levels were important to the price action but the top was not in place at this time.



EDIT: 50% level was also important to the price action but is not marked in the screenshot.

believe me or not. if this last high is the future 61.8% retracement level and the ATH from 2017 is the future 38.2% retracement level our next target will be $30k.

^^warum wollen viele nicht verstehen, dass man aus der vergangenheit nicht 1-zu-1 auf die zukunft schliessen kann? die bedingungen sind doch jetzt ganz andere was die pheripherie und das ganze zeugs betrifft. schon alleine was die instutitionellen und die future börsen veranstalten. das war vor Dez. 2017 nicht existent. die rahmenbedingungen sind erheblich verändert.

mein gott, leute, begreift das bitte mal und hört auf mit dieser ewigen leier "beim letzten mal war es so und so und deshalb kommt es jetzt wieder so und so". NEIN! man hat keine blaupause aus der vergangenheit für die zukunft.

wo sieht man zum beispiel in der vergangenheit die phase des abtauchens von $6000 auf $3200 ohne antesten einer begrenzenden widerstandslinie oberhalb des bodens wie es 2015/16 der fall war? gibt es nicht! es hat nämlich damals auch kein HashWar gegeben welcher dieses abtauchen unter $6000 mit hoher wahrscheinlichkeit veranlasst hat.

EDIT: januar 2015 war der absolute tiefpunkt mit $150 erreicht als Bitstamp gehackt wurde. damals dachte man jetzt geht die Bitcoin welt unter weil 2014 schon Mt.Gox kollabiert war und dann wurde auch noch die zweite dienstälteste börse nach Mt.Gox gehackt (TradeHill habe ich jetzt unterschlagen). aber danach sieht man schön ein zweimaliges (bzw. dreimaliges wenn man will) antesten einer widerstandslinie oberhalb und später geht es dann durch nach oben. beim $6k-$3K debakel geht es runter und dann bleibt es eine weile unten nahezu flat und geht dann ohne vorwarnung wieder durch $6k to da moon. alle welche noch auf < $3K zum günstig nachkaufen gewartet haben wurden kalt erwischt und sind jetzt ganz aus dem spiel raus (man hört nichts mehr von ihnen hier) oder mussten teuer Bitcoin nachkaufen.

EDIT2: das halving event is das einzige was einigermassen verlässig ist weil da auf einen schlag die inflation von Bitcoin halbiert wird. nur man weiss nie genau wann die rakete zündet. anscheinend zündet sie diesmal schon vorher weil man auch bei den grossen begreift das es knapp mit den bitcoins werden könnte.
