@ChineseSavior

you need a supply that can deliver 70 A on 12 V, so that psu is good.

...

I received 2 tracking numbers from bitmain, I guess the second number and package is the cooling solution?

Bitmain, I ordered a week ago C1 from batch 2 and did not receive my shipping number yet. I ordered many times, but this is the first time that I am waiting for more than a week for my hardware.

Have you like other vendors started to delay shipping, or are you self mining or what?

Fastes way to get money out of exchanges are bitcoins... just saying  Wink

Scandal about Huobi's BitVC... or FUD planted by OKCoin?

Chinese article: http://www.btcbbs.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=25035&extra=
"火币网bitvc员工不得不说的惊人内幕"
"Huobi.com's bitvc employee reports amazing insider info"

English article based on it: http://www.bitell.com/t/2150
"We're Shocked!!! An Employee of Huobi BitVC Disclosed the Behind Story of His Working Platform, Huobi Co-founder Du Jun Claimed Huobi has Presented that to The Police"

Ouch! If this will be confirmed, the implications could be very bearish.

I cant open it, guess some dns issue.

could I get a digested version from someone?

I just think its really quite funny to sit here talking about a $6 mill paper loss when even if half his prediction comes true we're talking about making $120 mill +.

I doubt he believes his own prediction, but if he can get enough other people to believe it, he can sell to them at a higher price later, which let's face it is very likely all the guy cares about.

Um no actually, due to the fact he's invested in several Bitcoin businesses as well I don't think he's looking to pump the price and dump his coins tanking his other business interests.

How would a reduced price "tank" his other business interests, considering most of these businesses will be set up to extract transaction fees which don't care about price, just usage.

I'm curious as to what bitcoin businesses this guy is even invested in. Googling the guy shows he bought a bunch of coins, plans to invest in some bitcoin businesses in the future (could be another pump line), and that he thinks it will go to 10k. No actual businesses listed anywhere, though.

a classic bitcoin-bull-talk.

nobody knows for sure how much he did pay for his stash nor is he really hodling, but 10 k is just around the corner and he is investing heavy in some (non regulated) btc businesses. am hash on havelock maybe?

I bet he already sodl for a nice profit.

1519  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 07, 2014, 12:46:59 PM

Good observation.

One problem with defining trends via points of contact (or similarly, as channels) is that there is usually more than one way to define them that way, and in many cases, breaking out of one of them leads to price staying within the confines of the next (plausible) one.

Doesn't mean the approach is wrong or useless, but that it has to be seen in context. Here's the point I'm trying to make, with sound effects Cheesy

deep inside you you know that we must break 360 with volume to call it a proper break out.
1520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 06, 2014, 08:28:06 PM
lol

bitstamp talking about taking down accounts that are not verified (they are requesting ID, they are not giving you a second chance to withdraw)
You aren't thinking like a criminal. The criminals will just acquire fake IDs, get verified, buy BTC and withdraw.

I actually think this was a manipulative move done by Bitstamp to stop its descent and propel it upwards. I expect many more of such manipulations by hodlers, and inevitably some will succeed, as did Willy.

Hell, Bitstamp probably has a whole folder with detailed emergency procedures of what to do when the price gets too low for them. Remember that at equivalent volume levels in BTC, a declining price means declining profits for them.

knock knock bitstamp.

mr regulator is at your doorstep.

no more shady business/willy bots.
It's perfectly legal to manipulate Bitcoin prices. There have been no charges against MtGox for manipulation.

like buying bitcoins with non existing money?

yea, that sounds perfectly legal.
