1501  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: November 12, 2020, 09:51:17 PM
The digital age already began and this pandemic just causes a little effect. People like to buy their products online even before this Pandemic. Humans now like to spend their time on something valuable that's why they want to buy their daily needs Online. This will increase more in time and that's why are seeing e-commerce site flourishes right now.
The pandemic actually helped modernization because it was essential for survival as we could not meet others and online shopping saw a gigantic growth as everyone was afraid to shop physically in stores and rather preferred to order their products online. We might be troubled so much by the pandemic but the truth is that we moved way ahead of time as now education is being done online, shopping also saw a big growth and actually things like medication also started online as doctors used to see their patients online via video call which is a great sign of economy moving ahead.

I do not know much about other countries but actually our country lacked behind in use of technology and at least corona virus helped everyone learn these technologies and actually more people are now getting online jobs.
While without a doubt there has been a movement forward when it come to the world becoming more digital because of the pandemic, there are some instances in which this is not as positive as it may seem at first sight, and one of those aspects is education, in my country the education is really bad and now that is has moved from schools to the house and become digital I can tell you that it is even worse, I will admit that I did not appreciated the job of the teachers before but now I do and I think that is something that should never become completely digital.

Don't worry, maybe in few months time, the way how education is handling this situation will get better. I understand that going digital in academe is really hard for most students as well as teachers. But to move forward even with this pandemic, they are trying hard to adopt with the situation. Once the vaccine is commercially available, we will start seeing situations properly handled. There are pros and cons happening during this pandemic, but we need to accept the fact that right now, we can't do anything much in our situation but to follow the safety protocols. Other countries are having added problems like floods, bush fires, etc. on top of the pandemic situation. So be grateful for what you have right now.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]GLBRAIN-SMART COMMUNITIES AND COMMUNICATION on: November 12, 2020, 06:02:28 PM
Another project that can be tagged as dead. Despite their webpage is filled with cryptocurrency related news, nothing new about GLBRAIN is mentioned.
Project barely trying to recover from losses, that Shortex caused to them, mixed with lockdown and covid-19 situation.
I've participated in the bounty, and even though I have received my reward in their wallet, it looks like it was a waste of time.

Sorry to hear to your experience about this project. And based from my post below, months ago, I was right that you can't be so sure about the fate of the project as they were talking about GLBRAIN project to be a mega success. Wonder what they are thinking now on this project? The development doesn't come from the Advisory team, so even if they have known personalities in their Advisory Team, it doesn't mean that they can dictate the success of the project. Still, the hard work is on the dev team.

The advisory team looks very supportive to advance the GLBRAIN project and some even come from the director of huobi, whether GLBRAIN does not plan to do an IEO in the huobi exchange that will be very good for sales of the glbrain IEO that will quickly sell
Agreed the management seems to be fully dedicated and they can take all initiative to make GLBRAIN project a mega success.

it is too early to tell the fate of this project. based from my experience, even if the project seems promising and great, it is not an assurance that they will really achieve success in their chosen platform. i will wait for more solid updates for this project and actual implementation of their plans. don't want to believe in pure talks anymore, actions is more believable for me.
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW] Scala | Smart ⭐, Mobile 📱, Distributed 🌐 and Anonymous 🕵️ on: November 11, 2020, 09:39:50 PM
Is anyone mining at with his/her mobile phone, I want to know the experience. If this was done right with mobile phone mining, the adoption rate would be huge, another thing the team need to work on is the marketing, marketing goes along way to determine the success of a project

I don't think this is worth mining right now via mobile phone to be honest. Unless, you are hoping that one day it will increase its price to compensate the energy you are using. Anyway, as the team promised to list this in a better exchange, it means they have better plan for this coin. Because if you look at crex trading activity, I don't think the price is appealing to investors. But if you truly believe that this will rise, this is good time to buy big volumes as the price is really really cheap, not even 1 sat.

1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 10, 2020, 08:14:28 PM
I'm not surprised about it anymore since it did happen already before since the start of lockdown due to the pandemic. I think this is the only way that casino owner wants to minimize the losing of money since there are strict rules implemented that there should not a mass gathering. I don't think it only happens in casino workers because everyone was affected by this new normal so almost every businesses you know and see are all affected with this kind of problem.

Very true! This situation is not special nor unique as most businesses around the globe are in survival mode. Business owners need to think of alternatives how they can lessen their operational expenses. And since casinos don't have the usual number of players, they are not generating the same income as before. Also, this situation has been experienced by most even at the start of pandemic, so they should know that this will going to happen to them. If you are an employee, you need to understand the situation and look for other options where you can earn extra income. Your job is not your whole life where you can depend on. There are some ways to get that money.
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam? on: November 09, 2020, 11:23:21 PM
I do agree that we can't blame the method just because some projects are scam. scammer are everywhere and they usually target something that has some audience where they have bigger opportunities and as it happens ICO, IEO, Defi all of them are rather hype and have too many people vulnerable thus the scammers target these three and scamming don't happen only in crypto so accusing or blaming IEO, ICO, or Defi as a whole just because some project went scam is not really right.

If you think you're being offended, you need to grow thicker skin. In the past before many people screaming ICO scam on 2018-2019, there're many people said Bitcoin is scam Tongue

Don't worry about their opinion against your choice and believing, they'll realize and regret until the coin in bullish.
Thats true  Cheesy. kinda reminds me back then so many people are against bitcoin telling us that it's total scam but see what it turns out to be. just keep believing in ourselves i guess.

I remember that time period where people were calling bitcoin as scam and I guess up until this day, there are still people who believe that bitcoin is scam. But we can't force people to change their beliefs. Every business has scammers and it is up to you how you can avoid being victim by their scheme. The goal of DeFi platform is great but it is tainted of so many scammers just like any other project launched in crypto. So as a crypto user, it is only you that can help yourself from preventing being screwed by this new hype.
1507  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 08, 2020, 11:49:59 PM
I have the opinion that a second lockdown in Europe will not destroy the economy, The government in Europe should be better prepared
to face a second lockdown. There must be several steps taken so that the second lockdown will not have a bad impact on the economy.
Then Germany and France which have imposed a second lockdown, including countries with a fairly good economy, so I believe that once
the lockdown ends the economic recovery will be rapid. So don't worry too much about this second lockdown, I am optimistic that the economy
in Europe will survive.

Everyone can always get back to their feet. This pandemic is not forever. People will always find their ways to survive and recover from any crisis. Another test in humanity, where people learn a lot of lessons in life during this lockdown, whether financial or survival strategies. Now, we can appreciate those preppers and how they are fully prepared on this type of crisis.
1508  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden can influence bitcoin on: November 07, 2020, 11:53:58 PM
Joe Bribem drools in a cup and can't even remember what he ate for breakfast... What makes you think he can do anything for Bitcoin or crypto?

Obviously, you don't like him.  Wink But yes, I don't know if he has the capacity to influence bitcoin market. It is independent from politics. Unless, he will directly promote the usage of btc or crypto and encourage merchants to utilize crypto. But don't think that will happen. It will be far from his agenda.
1509  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency exchange for beginners on: November 07, 2020, 10:38:35 PM
As a newbie of course, you will use the platform exchange where you know to yourself that you comfortable to use it, even you knew that your knowledge and idea is not yet enough for a beginners. But of course, it is still need to study and gain a lot of idea about in crypto trading. And it is also still to begin with the exchange that are listed on top in the market of course.
I think Binance will be good option to trade as beginner. The fees on binance is not so high and it is user friendly. Besides, there is strong security system.

What I noticed also with BNB is the price gap between sell/buy order is not so wide. Actually, very close. I think at the moment, Binance is one of the secure exchanges to deposit your funds because they have SAFU in place also. And if you look at their withdrawal fees, they are relatively cheaper than most. But still, it is up to the trader what features he's looking for and what coins he's going to trade with. Because some coins or tokens are not being traded with Binance.
1510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will There Be a New ATH in 2020? on: November 06, 2020, 09:11:22 PM
Back in December of 2017, Bitcoin pumped over $1500 in 24 hours. On November 6 of 2020 it did the same. Is the story repeating itself? What do you think? Will There Be a New ATH in 2020?
Following the past cycles bitcoins has been making since it's inception, I personally think it won't happen this year but will definitely happen in early 2021. We could probably hit close to $20K, maybe $18K or $19K before dropping back a little. I expect so much resistance around that region for the rest of this year.

But as early as now, we are getting positive movement in the market as we are already in the $15500 level, which is actually a great increase. We have more than a month remaining this year, so probably it will close to $16-18k at the end of this year. Which is really not bad despite the pandemic happening around the globe. This shows that bitcoin is thriving in any environment that it encounters. A lot have had happened in the past 10 years and yet, btc is still holding its ground.

1512  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamblineers.com | the Bitcoin Casino Guide on: November 04, 2020, 09:41:06 PM
It is quite obvious that you have created this topic in order to get additional views in your website as you have not drop all the
important informations here that the readers need to know.

Upon visiting your guide, I can see that the ranking is quite improper as you are basing your ranking base on the free spins that the casino sites
offers to the players as what I notice in your top 6 rankings where Riobet comes in first.

I think most people know that by now that about 95% of these ranking websites are just being backed by advertising money and it's not other kind of advertisements on banners or anything but as a matter of fact they're getting paid to put a specific website on top 5-3 or whatever in one of their rankings, and obviously they are not going to do it in a way that is way too blatant so they have to use other popular and reputable names in their list as you can clearly see this is what this website does.

Just a suggestion for those who are looking for a good gambling website to use: look through different topics in gambling section and read some of the members posts there and their opinion about them and decide which one is the better choice for you and never rely on a 3rd-party website to tell you what is good and what's not.

Actually, that's better than checking the gambling review sites. Most of them are biased and care for the traffic they will get. In my experience here, just look around this gambling board and you will know which casinos are reputable and not. And those that are already established in the forum have better services. Not gonna hurt you if you try new ones, but deposit only small amount at first and see for yourself how that goes.
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DEFI & CEFI] Psyche.Cash | The Future of DeFi | Private sale on: November 03, 2020, 11:59:01 PM
I am still not sure if the price will stabilize at $1, of course it will experience a dump when it starts trading, unless the private sale or token sale has a price of $2
if they make the $ 2 private sale price it is very incompatible with their mission which will follow the USD price, and it does not make sense that investors will avoid investing because implementing a stable price at $ 1 will make investors suffer losses ...
and why is it impossible for them to be able to follow from like the Tether project and many other stable coins that follow the world currency price, namely USD

The cost of the Psyche token on private sale is 0.2-0.3 dollars. Therefore, if the value of the token later stabilizes at the level of $1, investors will only benefit.
In addition, the cost of the token on the ICO is not yet known, but most likely it will also be below $1.
yes for sure ico sales will be under $ 1 because the purpose of the psyche.cash project is to make tokens as stable as usdt and many other stablecoins, if you have no doubt this is the right time to invest here, and psyche.Cash needs more partnerships another

Not sure if they can really achieve the $1 target price here once they hit the exchanges. If they are selling about 20 to 30 cents to their investors, what is the assurance that they will not dump their holdings when the time comes? I am not really familiar with stablecoin based on algo and how they can really keep their price level at their target of $1 so we will see how this type of stablecoin will perform in the actual market. Maybe they will be the one project that will show us how non-backed by USD or other assets stablecoin will prosper in the market.
1514  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAKE dice2.win on: November 03, 2020, 11:35:38 PM
Well done OP,

Since not anyone can't determine a fake website, this will probably help a lot to avoid being scam. And btw, there are some flaws on this fake website like they are using gmail which can be seen by any users, in that case, we should actually be suspicious enough and start avoiding it.

You're right, and the first thing that you will see on their webpage is install your metamask if you haven't yet. The legit one, they will not ask you to.

Also, if you will check at the bottom of the page, they have slight difference. They are using the infodice2win even with their telegram and twitter accts. You can check the difference if you will check the links in both sites.

The fake one -

The legit -

1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Morris is a fully decentralized platform. on: November 03, 2020, 11:05:29 PM
The Morris Coin is a multifunctional, next-generation cryptocurrency form being developed on Blockchain, using cutting edge smart technology. The Morris Coin will be the first stable digital currency exclusively designed and marketed towards an Ecommerce and Trading Industry to pay for product and services and freedom from dealing with traditional business.
It has the same transparency, fluidity, and security price volatility. This gives leverage, robustness and long-term sustainability to The Coin as a digital currency. This is the opposite of a conventional fiat currency which decreases in value each time a Government prints more.
What Is an Initial Coin Offering (ICO)?
An Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is the cryptocurrency industry’s equivalent to an Initial Public Offering (IPO). ICOs act as a way to raise funds, where a company looking to raise money to create a new coin, app, or service launches an ICO.

Morris coin is a crytocurrency that is going to be listed in one of the top exchanges of the world. There is no doubt that Morris coin will open the door for revolutionary technological possibilities.

#Tokenmarketcaps #TMC #Crypto

so, this is a scam project buddy ? because when i click your link above going to this article https://coinquora.com/indian-police-arrests-36-year-old-man-for-morris-coin-crypto-scam/
strange, why you promote this coin with a scam link article

Of course it is scam project! I think author is just a troll - read my post above. ^^
But this is a great example of that how naive some users are. Many times it is just like in this post - investors read something about a project. Everything is described very nicely and of course it is a project that must be successful. However, many do not look closer (like here not many checked that link) and in this simple way lose money sending straight to a scammer like this. I think that's what the author of this post wanted to show.

There are really people who don't dig much about a particular post. All they care is if they will get profit from it. But they will find out very soon when they start to look where their money is. The OP may be is just testing the readers here how they react to a particular post. Who knows he is doing some sort of research how forum users reply on a specific post here? So with the inclusion of the link hidden from the name of coin itself, he will know if people are really attentive to posts like this.
1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Turnoff Happen to Bitcoin on: November 03, 2020, 10:16:59 PM

My question is there any perfect solution put in place fix this problem aside from the lightning network which i don't know much about cause Bitcoin will gain more traffic next year and if nothing is done now it may lead to some turnoff by some investors?

I think you mixed up some things here, as an investors, they doesn't care about the status of lightning network, as long as they see the price of bitcoin going up then good enough for them. Bitcoin now has a lot of purpose though, could be as mode of payment, store of value, money, assets.

As for being a mode of payment, one drawback is its volatility, so it's really up to the merchant themselves if they want to used bitcoin as mode of payment or not. But it doesn't mean that bitcoin will be a turn-out, there are a lot of stores that are accepting LN now and it's just a matter of time before we can see more online or even offline store accepting bitcoin thru LN payment scheme.

Not only volatility is the concern of some merchants or consumers but the transaction fee to go thru. With the clogging of network these days, some will look for other payment options like XRP, which addresses the volatility and tx fee issues. Because their price doesn't change much and they have one of the cheap tx fees out there.

But talking about investors' perception towards btc, I think they do care about the price in the market but not on the tx fees. Since it is the popular among cryptocurrencies, they still go for this top crypto no matter what.
1517  Economy / Gambling / Re: GameCash.io - Colonel Blotto Game - BTC | ETH | ShapeShift on: November 03, 2020, 09:30:05 PM
As it seems you have difficulty in attracting players here, I believe you need to run some sort of competition with of course rewards. Because if you will just wait for gamblers to register and play on your site, I don't think you can keep your site active. If you have spare funds for marketing, maybe use it now before they totally forgot that your site is here. You have about 86 new users last week as per your stats on your website, but where are they now? Why you haven't managed them to play, even one fourth of them. They just register and left? Something is really missing here.
1518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin still feasible? Profit or loss? on: November 03, 2020, 08:33:41 PM
I mean we normally end up with some sort of bitcoin run then some sort of altcoin run at seemingly random periods. People might be expecting the 4 year continuation pattern of bitcoin to keep going and, if this happens, altcoins should see major growth around q3 next year (Oct-Dec). There could be mini rallies half way through next year too imo. Somewhere around March but it might depend on how the economy is doing between now and then...

We can't really predict about the altcoins' movement. But normally, the top alts follow the market trend of btc. But only those that are already established in the market. Now, if we are talking about specific alts, it is better to follow their respective developments. Because their actual developments and progress will have significant impact on their market value. If traders will not see movement from the team, then I don't think they will be interested to trade with that coin, unless, it has specific use case for them like using for transfer purposes because of very minimal fee for transaction.
1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spend or HODL Bitcoin during COVID-19? on: November 03, 2020, 09:08:57 AM
For me there is no "spend". It is only trade or hodl and I choose trade, though admittedly hodling usually wins.
When you traded your Bitcoin that means you had already spent the chance of having this so that is categorically Spending.

While in my part i Literally spent some When i needed a Cash to pay for some bills that cannot be done using Bitcoin.
But i'll Keep my Holdings as long as a can since it is clear that market is now on the move to go straight up in the sooner days.

Not many people can afford to keep their bitcoin in their wallets. A lot of us here need to spend some bitcoin for necessary expenses because a lot lost their jobs or reduced their income because of the pandemic situation. If I can afford not to touch my btc, I will do so. But need to use also my btc for personal expenses. Lucky for those that can let their btc sit in their wallets. As I believe btc will further increase its value, those who are still holding will reap their rewards in the future.
1520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: November 02, 2020, 11:12:31 PM
A ponzi scheme that is thriving even after 12 years of its creation? That will be a new record. Also, a ponzi scheme in which the inventor has never profited out of his own creation? That will be a very special type of ponzi. I purchased my first Bitcoins in 2012, for around $10 per coin. Now I have cashed out coins worth 200 times my initial investment, and I still have plenty of coins remaining in my wallet. Still want to call Bitcoin as ponzi?

You are very lucky to sell your coins today! But anyway, people who don't want to educate themselves about bitcoin or crypto or blockchain technology will always be in the dark side of things. They will miss the opportunity brought by this technology. We can't do anything about close-minded people. But hoping that one day, they will enlighten themselves with the publicly available information. It is their decision where to go with this route. Either enrich himself with crypto knowledge or leave without trying anything and regret afterwards.
