I'm very surprised with the news that Cancelo is joining Bayern Munich on loan. Because there is no meaning in Manchester City to let one of their crucial players go so easily. I know that they have Sergio Gomez as an alternative left-back but it is still not a sensible move. Cancelo has been one of the key players in defense. He has been more like a offensive back actually and he has scored lovely goals in addition to his contribution with his passes. This is going to be a very favourable deal for Bayern Munich and they have an option to buy him also.

This is one of the really wrong moves for Manchester City while they are trying to achieve the Champions League title. But hopefully they will make up for this.

Barcelona are in a really comfortable position after Real Sociedad have done them a really nice favour inadvertently. The point gap has gone up to 5 points and this is an important advantage in the title competition.

We are still in the middle of the season maybe but Barcelona and Real Madrid are the strongest teams by far. When one of them maintains a solid form then it is really not easy to stop that team. Barcelona are the in-form team at the moment and who knows when they will be stopped. The next El Clasico is also important of course but it is in Camp Nou also. This makes Barcelona quite advantageous. They couldn't do much in the previous one but now they look like they have solved their problems with not being able to win big matches.

Even if Bayern Munich make it to the league title again we are going to have a really competitive season at the end anyway.

Because we have always seen Bayern Munich winning the title by finishing the season quite early for like 10 years or so. There wasn't a real opponent for them in the league. Even Dortmund were a big disappointment about such race. But now there are a couple of teams maintaining a title race with Bayern Munich. In addition to that it would be very lovely if we see a different champion finally after all these years. People must have been fed up with seeing the same team being the champions like all the time.

Roma played really well against Napoli very interestingly. They had the same amount of goal attempts and I can't say that there was a big difference between the ball possession percentages also.

Napoli couldn't have full control of the match this time unlike their previous matchup. It looks like Mourinho finally realized that he needed to play more attacking focused rather than a defensive one. This was the only way they could have got at least one point. Actually they got really close to getting it if it weren't for Simeone's winning goal in the last minutes. That just hit Roma players really hard. Simeone was like a savior of the match for Napoli also because he scored only 10 minutes after being subbed in. Despite the 2-1 loss Mourinho should keep up applying these strategies in the next matches also.

I don't think Lukaku move would be good for Tottenham. Because I don't see any meaning in this while Tottenham have players like Kane and Richarlison already in the team.

If Lukaku comes to Tottenham I assume he would like to be a part of the starting eleven. But it is too difficult for him to get the position from Kane. Because Kane is showing an amazing performance in this season also and he is right behind Haaland in top scorers now. Lukaku's fate would be the same as now. He can't take his place back in the starting eleven from Dzeko now. Besides I believe we don't have the old Lukaku anymore. He was indeed bad in the World Cup and he doesn't seem good in the Serie A now also.

Atletico Madrid will need to focus on the La Liga only from now on. It is a very poor season for them as they are out of the Champions League and Copa del Rey both already. In the La Liga also things aren't going well for them obviously. They aren't even close to the front row for a title race. Atletico Madrid have lost a lot of their strength. There is no such team that can fight with Barcelona and Real Madrid at a similar level. This is a sign for Simeone to leave the team after a long time of working here also.

Yeah I really think he should leave the team before being sacked by the team. It is the best for both sides. In this way Atletico Madrid can find a better fitting coach to reach the level they deserve with this squad.

It looks like the injured players have finally recovered at Juventus. This is great news for them while dealing with serious issues in their management side. Juventus have a possibility to even be demoted to the Serie B in the coming days. But now Juventus just need to focus on their game to stay strong. They don't know what will happen in the end and making their minds busy with that possibility would just make them weak against any team they are playing against.

After losing 5 points in last 2 matches it is time they started a good series. The Monza match is a great chance to do this. Maybe there is a slight difference in the standings between them but it is due to the punishment Juventus had of course. Juventus still should be winning this by playing decently.

Manchester United are still one of the interested teams in Osimhen. They are said to be preparing an offer worth 105 million euros for him. This deal might happen in the summer but I still have doubts about it. Because Manchester United might not be the only team interested in him then. He has already drawn the attention of other big teams also by his amazing performance at Napoli. He is already the most scorer in the league with 13 goals. He is a really good athlete at the same time.

I think a player like Osimhen wouldn't have much problem on adapting to the English Premier League also.

Leipzig have the only match of the day against Stuttgart home. I think this is one of the easiest fixtures for them in this season.

Because Stuttgart are one of the teams in trouble in this season. They don't have a good form and fighting for staying away from the relegation zone also. They are one of the worst away teams also because they don't have a single win yet. It is completely the opposite for Leipzig as for their home matches. They are the best team about it. While there is a big contrast between these teams I don't see any possibility for Stuttgart to even resist Leipzig much. Nkunku's absence doesn't change anything in such matches as we saw how they played against Schalke also.

Joao Cancelo is on the radar of some teams apparently and one of these teams is said to be Milan now.

However I'm not seeing any reason for Cancelo to leave Manchester City now. He is enjoying his game and he is one of the mainstays in their defense line. Manchester City are in a much better condition than Milan also therefore I don't think this news is real. Cancelo's current contract ends in 2027 and I think he will stay at least until that date as long as Manchester City don't want to replace him with another player. Cancelo is a very special back by the way as he is making a huge contribution in the attacking line also. There is no reason for Manchester City to give up on him as a result.

I believe Danjuma hasn't been brought to the team with the aim of making him a part of the starting eleven. Danjuma would be like a good alternative for Son or Kane when either one of them is absent.

From now on I will increase my hopes about Chelsea to finish the season at a more decent position in the standings. Their recent transfers are quite nice ones and hopefully they will make a good impact on their performance in time. It was really unlucky for Felix to get a red card in his first match already. But at least we know that he didn't have a bad intention about that challenge. It was just too late for him at that moment. I believe he won't make this a problem for himself and he will be more careful.

I think it will be really difficult for Roma to be able to keep up with Napoli in that match. Because Roma are still having difficulties against big teams in the league. It is because of Mourinho's preference of course. Because I mostly see Roma being quite timid against that kind of opponents. Their previous match against Napoli is the biggest proof of this. They played a quite defensive game back then and this just made things easier for Napoli to make them desperate in their defense line.

The thing Roma need to do this time is to play more attacking. It is obvious that Roma can't get any point by playing defensive focused. Napoli have very capable attackers and this would just be the play they would like to see from Roma. Mourinho should tell his players to play like they did against Milan in the second half. They need to fight for scoring a goal fearlessly.

The gap is not too big despite Freiburg's being the favourite side to win. This can be a quite interesting and very challenging match at the same time. Freiburg couldn't win their last two meets in this stadium in the Bundesliga. However both teams are doing a pretty great job now. Freiburg have lost only once in home matches while it is the same for Frankfurt in away matches. Freiburg concede quite few goals in those matches though. Even though Frankfurt seem quite productive in away ones they might have bigger problems in this.

But after seeing Freiburg's embarrassing loss against Wolfsburg by 6-0 I can't trust them fully. I just want to give both teams to score a chance @1.69.

It makes me feel like this can be the end of the road for Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey.

They have got one of the toughest matchups in the quarter finals already. Atletico Madrid are having a pretty bad season and their chance of winning any title is quite low as a result. The Copa del Rey would be seen as the one in which they have the most chance to do so. But I have serious doubts about them to defeat Real Madrid in Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid are also caring about the cup quite much. We have all seen their remarkable comeback against Villarreal despite being 2-0 away first. They already defeated Atletico Madrid in the La Liga away and they can repeat it here again.

Tottenham have a quite nice advantage over Manchester City in home matches for a couple of years.

Tottenham won their last four head-to-head home matches and three of them were in the Premier League. Maybe Manchester City might not be able to make a comeback this time if Tottenham capture a good score advantage again. Tottenham have had quite big problems in the recent times of course. They have lost so many points. They have lost nearly the half of their home matches also. But still I think things are quite changeable when it comes to big matches. Manchester City had better make a good score gap as quick as possible otherwise I believe Tottenham will steal at least one point this time.

Nkunku's absence didn't change anything for Leipzig in the Schalke match just as I expected. Because they were already going to play against literally the worst defense line in the Bundesliga. Andre Silva used his chance very well and scored two goals. It is nice to see him scoring goals again because he is actually a quite decent striker. He was just having difficulties in keeping a good form which caused him to be a substitute player. It will not be easy to get the shirt from Nkunku when he is back but this is still important for Silva. Olmo was another impressive player of the match with a goal and two assists.

The biggest shocker of the day is that Koln are still in the lead by 1-0. Bayern Munich can't score even a goal in Allianz Arena while we are in the last 20 minutes of the match. They are in control but it doesn't reflect on the score I'm afraid.

It looks like Marcelo Bielsa is the strongest candidate for the job at Everton after sacking Lampard.

I think this might be a good decision for Everton. Because Bielsa is a very experienced manager and he has a lot of experience with some decent teams like Athletic Bilbao, Marseille, Lazio and Lille. His last team was Leeds and he isn't working for any team right now. He worked with Leeds for nearly four years so he knows the Premier League very well also. I hope he builds a good relationship and has a good chemistry with Everton players to put an end to their misery in this season.
