Trying to understand the clubs in Ligue 1 is difficult for me, I mean why do they falter so easily or in other words their consistency is so quickly lost when entering a new season. I think it's normal for players to come and go, but in reality it's not normal for that to happen at a Ligue 1 club. It's different when looking at La Liga and the Premier League for example, their consistency can still be said to be balanced when the season changes, yes although there are some clubs that also experience a significant decline.
What do you think caused that to happen in Ligue 1?
I understand your curiousity about this topic. However actually we are witnessing similar examples in other top European leagues also.  For example Sevilla could be given as a wonderful example for that. Let's take what they did last season as an example. They were really shaky in the La Liga you know. However they were brilliant in the Europa League and that journey ended up with winning the title also.  Surely there are similar incidents that other teams from other top leagues happened also. Therefore I don't think this is specific to the Ligue 1. |

What is going on with Milan these days by the way? Their winless streak has reached 4 matches in the league now. They at least have got in the game again in the Champions League by that win over PSG. However they need to do something about the Serie A as well immediately. Otherwise they are likely to find themselves out of the Champions League area in no time.  They couldn't score any goal in 2 of these 4 matches I mentioned. They had better focus on being productive consistently firstly. Not being able to score against a team like Udinese is horrible for a team like Milan for example. |

Ajax are pretty much done with the Europa League as long as there isn't any miracle to be seen. They aren't much different in the Eredivisie also though. They are trying new to climb positions in their domestic league these days. But who knows maybe they might even need to put up a good fight to stay just above the relegation area too. In Erik ten Hag era Ajax were really strong. Since his era came to an end they just haven't been able to show a solid and consistent performance. Last season wasn't that bad though but this season is a disaster for them. I wonder how they will recover from this situation in the future. |

Charles Leclerc had a wonderful race despite not having anything he could do against Verstappen at a point. He did his best but lost to him due to car difference in the first place. When it comes to driver skills I can say Verstappen is the best on the grid now as well. I wouldn't like to disrespect other very skilled and experienced drivers as well of course. Anyway coming back to the race Leclerc's great attack against Perez there really deserved applauding. He must have given his 100% in this race to have the best result he could. Perez seemed really thoughtful right after the race. Its incredible how dominant this RedBull car is, with his front wing damage he still cut the gap and surprases Leclerc without so much effort, i know Max is a super driver, but that car is out of this competition. For ferrari still good to see they find something good in the car so they can keep working for the next year. Right?  Red Bull are at another level at the moment. Verstappen is already one of the best drivers now indeed. When we combine these things there is an incredible picture being shown to us. Even with a broken front wing Verstappen's work was huge. Russell probably didn't see or expect him to attack there I think which is why he steered toward Verstappen. Verstappen also said the same. Other than that it was one of the great races in the calendar. Normally I'm not fond of this track though because of its being very dull. By the way wasn't it interesting to see Verstappen talking negatively about this track and atmosphere first and later singing "viva las vegas" on the radio? |

Söylediklerinize ben de katılıyorum. Şampiyonlar Ligi'nde oynaması bir lig maçında (eğer derbi değilse tabi) oynamasına kıyasla çok daha önemli. O yüzden Şampiyonlar Ligi maçına tabi ki yetiştirilsin istenir. Fakat o maçta hadi oynadı sonra dinlendirsinler. Kendisi oynamak istese bile ne bileyim en kötü yedek kulübesinden maça başlayıp ikinci yarıda çok ihtiyaç olmadığı sürece maksimum 10-15 dakika oynasın. Sonuçta 1 önceki maçta iğne ile oynamış adamı riske atmanın hiçbir mantığı yok bana göre. |

PSG can't defeat Monaco for 3 head-to-head matches by the way. Of course those are matches in the past but I believe they still matter. Because having an advantage psychologically can be really important for a team. That team can even maintain this advantage for like many more years. But when it comes to Monaco I doubt they will be able to do just like that. Because maybe PSG can be full of surprises this season. But they are still the strongest team now as well on paper. Moreover now PSG have a really good series of wins in the league. Maybe this series would also be a big morale to defeat Monaco and put an end to this streak between them. |

Back in the day Walter Mazzarri weren't very different than Rudi Garcia with Napoli. Their ratings of management are pretty much the same when we compare them. Yeah it is true that Mazzarri won the Italian cup with Napoli in the 2011/12 season. But maybe Rudi Garcia was also going to achieve such success if they didn't part ways with him. We never know. Mazzarri's contract is only until the end of the season for now. He is more like a caretaker manager for Napoli now. But if he shows a better performance then he can surely get a contract extension by another year. I don't know if Napoli can find a manager like Spalletti in the future. Because that season with him was something very special. |

Overall we certainly understand very well how Laverkusen performance has improved this season and last season under the control of Xabi Alonso, but management must be prepared for other realities and must open their eyes wide in the january transfer window. Many european clubs want to sign their top players, so I think Xabi will have to take a stand to convince them to stay.
It would be better if Laverkusen management supported Xabi financially to further increase the depth of the current squad, because the competition in the second half of the season will be more difficult and requires balance in every line. I was really surprised when I saw FIA doing the right thing about the Verstappen - Leclerc rivalry at the beginning. Because you know how FIA are acting different mostly for some "special drivers". Verstappen is that driver now and it was Hamilton in the past also. I didn't even understand the reason why Verstappen acted like it wasn't his fault. Leclerc was ahead of him while entering that turn in the end. When it comes to the race it was really lovely truthfully. This was such a horrible track for F1 above all else. But the race went on much more enjoyable than I imagined. We saw lots of SC situations. That rivalry among Verstappen-Leclerc-Perez trio was also incredible! I would have liked to see a better defending from Perez at the turn Leclerc overtook him in the last lap though. |

I would also like to see more talented players starting to be grown in our country in the future. We need to attach importance to this matter very much in my opinion. If a youth setup of a team is strong they would never be affected negatively by such changes. They shouldn't focus on only bringing talented foreign players now.
I know that they are doing it for especially European tournaments which I really understand. But they shouldn't overlook their youth setup on one hand to be ready for the future too.

FIA decided upon a 10-place grid penalty for Carlos Sainz because of replacing parts after that incident. This is just insane! How can you find Sainz or Ferrari guilty about that drain cover incident? You are responsible for the safety of the track. Teams are relying on you to have full checks of the track so that they can be relieved about sending their drivers to the track in sessions. But you don't just make do with not checking the track properly. You are even giving that grid penalty to Sainz like nothing happened. This is ridiculous kind of management by FIA. Nothing has changed since that fiasco at the end of the 2021 season. |
