Received my NastyPool / 10K Pizza coins today.....  Tongue

At least they look legit.

"Imitation is the highest form of flattery" - Charles Caleb Colton

Thanks.  It never bothered me that DobZombie continued using a variant of the NastyFans 1g coin design for his 10K pizza round (I paid him to do my design).  As you said, it is flattering.

Edit: (to include minerjones' now deleted post & this bit of info)
DobZombie was actually in the process of creating a NastyMining 1g round when I lost contact with him.  Rather than find a new designer, or just make the edits myself (I'm more than capable), I decided to end the series, as I don't like when a collector's item like this switches their production team while continuing a product line.  So if you're upset about the fact there is no 1g NastyMining, Minted Seats, NastyCredits, or Green Energy Project rounds, that is the explanation.  I've thought many times about rebooting this series, but I'm not sure about the demand as I've worked to reduce premiums over spot price on every coin I've released since these and 1g coins have a huge premium, so it might be viewed as taking a step backwards to some.

5-6 years ago, it was quite common to receive tips for a helpful post.  I haven't gotten one in probably over a year, so I'd say it is more rare these days.

The solar installation has been completed.  The final step will be passing inspection with the electric company.  See the drone video of the panels here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKisxNn1ueQ

15025  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: NastyMining Green Energy Project on: March 25, 2017, 06:03:42 AM
is this completely off-the grid system?

No.  We have been mining for 5+ years on the grid at this location.  The below picture is a bit deceiving because just to the right is a typical 200amp residential breaker box.

can you not purchase a grid-tie inverter and sell extra power or at least store energy credits with the power company?

The panels being used are SunPower E20 327W AC Modules w/ Integrated Microinverters.  They are far superior in efficiency to the typical linked solar panels in a single grid-tie inverter setup.  The electric company does allow us to sell excess energy to the grid and I am grandfathered into a plan that allows me to receive retail rates.  This is ideal because we will be overproducing in the day to sell at peak rates and buying back power at night when it is cheaper.  I am hoping that agreement along with the addition of a wind turbine later this year helps to bridge the gap in the currently estimated 30% shortfall of green energy production needed to sustain the current operation.

Lots of progress today.  I've included some pictures and even a drone video of the installation.  I'm told the panels will go up first thing tomorrow morning.

Here's an image of the work going on topside, and I've uploaded a drone video of the progress.

15028  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: NastyMining Green Energy Project on: March 24, 2017, 10:57:35 PM
The last two days have been mostly installing brackets and running electrical but the panels have arrived.  They should finish installation tomorrow.

The various breaker/control boxes have been installed and passed the initial city inspection.

Electrical lines have been run to the roof.  These will be painted to match the house.

proves that the losses from doing this are irrelevant to them because they are getting paid bigly by china/whoever is behind this trojan horse.

People with enough money don't crave more.  They crave power.  That is what this is about.

The Securities section used to be used for this purpose.  Although now it's just a mess of poorly thought out scam attempts.

15034  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Powered by my stream... Can it be done?? on: March 23, 2017, 10:13:21 PM
I think there are probably better ways to capture the energy than you are planning, but it is a great idea.  If I had a stream on my property, I'd definitely be taking advantage.
15035  Economy / Securities / Re: NastyFans: The Bitcoin Enthusiast Fan Club (est. 2012) on: March 23, 2017, 06:59:40 PM
The solar installation is currently underway.  I've temporarily shut down the miners due to my power being turned off and on while electrical is being worked on.  I will turn them back on once installation has completed for the day.  With any luck, they should be finished with installation tomorrow.

The dies for this project are being crafted this week.  The gold price is being locked in tomorrow, and I am ready to receive final payments for the gold.  I imagine it will be less than 2 months before these coins are in the hands of their owners.
15039  Economy / Securities / Re: NastyFans: The Bitcoin Enthusiast Fan Club (est. 2012) on: March 20, 2017, 03:36:03 PM
Nastyfans is all for fun but it's the most serious and trustworthy early bitcoin project that I know of. It will go down in history on the plus side and I'm really thankful to have been a fan from the start. Og and nonnakip are true bitcoiners and it shows. They deserve to win the poll so I voted.

Thanks for the kind words.  It means a lot.  I should also encourage people to vote for the "project-development/nasty-mining-pool-coins-t1020.html" thread as well, so that we have 2 chances in the contest.

I have been part of nasty family since some time and I am happy to see the project achieving hieghts.
No doubt ognasty is a great member of Bitcoin community, all I feel for him is go..Go..Go..Brother.
The only problem I have is that I am unable to login to my account,I hope nonakip or Ognasty fix it , have written so many time to nonakip and also on website notepad but still wandering.

Thank you.  The only reason I know of why your account would be locked is if you sold all of your seats.  If you've failed to have success using the post feature on the website, PM me with your username/details and I'll see if I can help you contact nonnakip.
15040  Economy / Services / Re: LEGENDARY ESCROW SERVICE (More than 19,000 BTC transferred) on: March 20, 2017, 04:32:52 AM
Just a quick note to say that I have been using OgNasty's escrow service since early 2014 - many trades - many btc - no drama - no problems - always smooth trading with OgNasty as escrow.

Thank you for the kind words.
