15081  Other / Meta / Re: Why no +1 button? Does the Simple Machines Forum software support this? on: October 21, 2014, 05:29:26 AM
bitcointalk.org forum uses the Simple Machines Forum software.  Does SMF support a +1 button so that if you agree with a poster, you can click this button and it adds to the total?  That way you don't have to reply "Right on" or something similar to indicate your approval of an opinion.  Maybe even a -1 button would be nice.

I've requested it for the new forum.  It's a feature I'd like to see, provided they don't let it be abused (linking it to some stat or something!)

No, thanks anyway, I've spent long enough looking for a solution to this prehistoric bb code, png's and gifs it is.

We are getting a new forum sometime next year.   Wink
15083  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cointellect steals your Hashing Power on: October 21, 2014, 05:19:59 AM
Is there a way to post screenshots on here? I can't seem to find a way to. I must be overlooking it somewhere. But I will upload screenshots once I figure it out for everyone to see and base their decision on it. I'm not saying that they will get ripped, but I would advise against putting some major hashing power into them.

Upload the images to imgur.com

Then use the tags here.  Smiley

15085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: October 21, 2014, 04:52:51 AM
i lost my a little on C-CEX  because of my careless,Click  the' dump' button, but i don't think that it really lost.

Once you sent those coins to C-CEX, they were no longer yours.  C-CEX still has them.
15086  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your weirdest childhood belief? on: October 21, 2014, 04:51:28 AM
I was brainwashed to believe that an imaginary (christian) god first created man.  Then, as an afterthought, it created woman.

The equal rights movement confused the hell out of me.  How could a gender created as a play thing for man be given equal rights?
15087  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Treadmill of Atheism on: October 21, 2014, 04:48:37 AM
We argue against people whose only argument is a 2,000 year old book written by stoners.  There has been zero happenings in 2,000 years that they can attribute to their god.  (I'm talking all the gods on earth, not just the christian one.)

How can you have logical arguments with the brainwashed?
15088  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a .5 BTC - 1 BTC loan on: October 21, 2014, 04:44:38 AM
And exactly why is it your business? Why is it worth a half hour of my time to please Peter Griffin? Not really worried about it as im done with this dump. Ill post it for you on my twitter so its more public. Link is in the ad.

FYI - no post on twitter yet...

I think you were just someone who was trying to scam 1btc before you left this community.   Undecided
15089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explaining Bitcoin in a Limerick on: October 21, 2014, 12:43:31 AM
Inspired by http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2jsca2/something_to_think_about_when_explaining_bitcoin/

Can you explain Bitcoin concisely enough to fit in a limerick (5, 10, or 15 lines...the shorter the better)?

Here's my first attempt. I'm happy with it except that the last line doesn't fit the required rhyme.

Bitcoin is digital cash
Transferred worldwide in a flash
  Just don't lose your keys
Or they're gone in the breeze
For it's controlled by all (or none, depending on your view)

"Bitcoin" instead of "A Bitcoin" could mean plural.  Change the "it's" to "they're"  ?

(no suggestions for your last line, sorry)
15090  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Thoughts on microchip implants? on: October 21, 2014, 12:27:39 AM
What are your thoughts on microchip implants? Do you think they will positively contribute to society?

I would love one, even if it was only used for memory storage.

The ability to remember every programming function instantly would be a big help to me.  I'm always looking into reference manuals since at my old age I can no longer remember everything I read.

And exactly why is it your business?

In a PM to me you offered to post who you borrowed coins from...

In this thread you offered to post your day trading history...

I guess you are nothing but a liar.  I can spot scammers a mile away.

Who thought I could outsmart someone who "used to work in a fraud dept".   Wink
15092  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a .5 BTC - 1 BTC loan on: October 20, 2014, 11:03:43 PM
You must of also missed the part where I stated I was going to also use it to replenish my day trading funds.  I DAYTRADE, hence I am capable of making money before stated date, I just knew I could pay it back for sure by Friday. You really suck at this guy.  I used to work in a fraud dept. you my friend have no clue.

I have accounts to verify my identity and trade history and will post them below if it helps at all.

Ok.  Post the transaction ID of you receiving the loan.

Then show us your trade history where you doubled your coin (to pay back the loan).

Finally, show the transaction ID of you paying back the loan.

And I will be happy to remove the negative feedback and apologize.
15093  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a .5 BTC - 1 BTC loan on: October 20, 2014, 10:51:44 PM
Actually this post needs to be removed since I got a loan and paid it back already.

So either you are lying now, or your first post (where you said you got paid on Friday) was a lie?

I can spot scammers a mile away.   Wink

Left you negative trust.  I will happy to remove it if you can sign a wallet with at least 1btc in it by Friday, October 24.

Clearly he is using ebay accounts with stolen credit cards to buy the items.
15098  Other / Off-topic / Re: The great debate - dank vs vod on: October 20, 2014, 04:43:38 AM
"dank" was an investment whereupon "squall1066" lost his shirt.

I could agree with that.

But why then would we let the deadbeat "investment" come back and keep asking for more money?  That's all I am trying to prevent - another scam.
15099  Other / Off-topic / Re: The great debate - dank vs vod on: October 20, 2014, 04:36:21 AM
Dank: Have you tried to negotiate your loan price in any way with your lender? Have you tried to pay anything back?

You obviously haven't followed the story.

Squall could have sold the 53btc at $1,100 each for $60,000.  Squall negotiated the debt at $10,000 - provided dank made monthly payments.

dank only made three agreed payments before he started falling behind and eventually stopped.

That agreement is null and void and dank now owes the original 53 btc.

15100  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post if you have been banned! on: October 20, 2014, 04:09:31 AM
Thank you very much it has been a stressful ordeal. My ban was a few months ago. Since then the depression had set in, and then the drinking. Lots and lots of drinking. I wake up and pound a fifth of jack, eat some prozac, then back to the booze. Some days i don't even make it out of bed, i just lean over and vomit, then wash it down with some more jack.
