2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Something is seriously wrong with bitcoin markets. No liquidity? Should we sell? on: April 30, 2024, 11:26:56 PM
Don't sell yet.   The price should max out Wednesday evening, after which Trump goes back to court.   BTC does not like reality.  :/
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [DEV] Titan Fury – Sports prediction (USDC/USDT Based) on: April 30, 2024, 11:04:23 PM
If this is live and accepting deposits, please move it from PD to the gambling section.
4  Other / Meta / Re: Post per day/ per month falling. on: April 30, 2024, 07:44:57 PM
Hopefully people are migrating to a community that wants to improve bitcoin, not hoard it.  Smiley

The price will fall if it's not being used.
5  Other / Meta / Re: Post per day/ per month falling. on: April 29, 2024, 10:17:22 PM
Maybe the FBI members here could raise their heads and start posting. Smiley

 Tongue

I know Homeland Security isn't here.  Smiley
6  Other / Meta / Re: Top reporters on: April 29, 2024, 06:29:35 PM
These are the people who have the most good reports over the last year:
| actmyname               |        38580 |

(I know this is an old thread, but never data not available)

That is one report every 10 mins, 7 days a week. (assuming 8 hours sleep per day)

Edit:  Been watching this for five minutes.   Dude just does not take a break!
7  Economy / Reputation / Re: To JollyGood and Icopress, on: April 29, 2024, 05:39:57 PM
Sorry guys, this forum discriminates against small level members, so your posts don't get attention from popular members.

Wrong.  Smiley

JG has left you neutral trust, which should not affect you.  You can't demand he changes the way he thinks; all you can do is try to convince him through actions.

I caught an escrow scammer once.  I sent a message to the scammer, and his main account replied seconds later.   He left the forum after I caught him, but then came back during my hiatus.
8  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seeking Innovators: Developers and Marketers on: April 29, 2024, 05:31:19 PM
why would you place the most important information on the site beneath when it should be on top and very visible for visitors.

I guess you are not intuitive enough, and you cannot be helped.   Undecided

Vaporware such as this depends on the leadership.   This person is not a salesman and should stop posting if he wants people to think he is serious.
9  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: April 29, 2024, 02:58:11 AM
I'm getting a white page at the root.  Some of the pages listed above still work.
10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Compiling KeyHunt_Cuda with gpu support on: April 29, 2024, 12:08:47 AM
You should move this to tech support, in case others have the same problem.
11  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: April 28, 2024, 06:46:39 AM
How do you sort this list?
The order comes from my complete overview of users on DT1 and DT2 and their ratings: first DT1, then DT2. Both categories are sorted by username.

You mean usernumber.  Smiley   OK, I see it now, thx.
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seeking Innovators: Developers and Marketers on: April 28, 2024, 05:14:31 AM
You are right, it would be a good practice to renew domain ownership for 10 years in advance, but on the other hand, if the project makes a profit within the first year, which at least pays for the costs of maintaining the project, then why should it stop working? If within a year we are unable to recoup the project at least for its maintenance, then most likely a. the project is not relevant at all, b. project management leaves much to be desired - which already makes it pointless in terms of profitability, no?

Exactly.  So anyone that purchases now may lose their money come registration time.

You could include a smart contract for payment, which pays you you over a set number of years.    If your site continues, you will get paid, but if it doesn't, the remainder gets sent back.
13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seeking Innovators: Developers and Marketers on: April 28, 2024, 03:33:05 AM
You should register the domain for ten years then - you cannot get that money back by cancelling early, so it provides a little more protection.

Right now if you have not made enough money and your launch fails, you will simply not renew the domain - why throw good money after bad?
14  Economy / Reputation / Re: BitcoinGirl.Club: How a condescending attitude equates to trust exclusion on: April 28, 2024, 12:33:49 AM
Sorry about that. A username change messed up my script, and needed manual attention.

You need to change to UID to identify a user.  Some idiots like Tradefortress used to play around with usernames to break BPIP.
15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seeking Innovators: Developers and Marketers on: April 28, 2024, 12:23:36 AM
The guarantee that we will not turn off the project is that our site provides the opportunity not only to buy an area on the grid for advertising or posting your content for entertainment purposes, but also the opportunity to sell your area to other users or rent it out

That is not a guarantee.  Smiley

Do you have the funds to run the site for years if you get no sales at all?

16  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: April 27, 2024, 10:22:20 PM
Isn't it sorted by account number/UID?

Obviously it is not, at least not at the start.

(I use the word obviously cause I just watched the movie 'The Platform')
17  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seeking Innovators: Developers and Marketers on: April 27, 2024, 10:20:53 PM
We see these fly by night Million Dollar clones every couple months.   After we have paid for lifetime advertising, how do we know you won't just shut down?
18  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: April 27, 2024, 07:40:27 PM
Apologies if you mentioned this somewhere before.   How do you sort this list?
19  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A fully decentralized marketplace on: April 26, 2024, 06:09:11 PM
All that would be required to interact would be to know the 42 contract's address characters...

That is a technical issue that has prevented thousands of people from using bitcoin.  A long stream of characters can scare anybody.
Allow users to create "nicknames" for their contracts.   So I can say use contract Vod24 instead of xxx....  Remove case sensitivity if you can.  (VOD and Vod identical)
You obviously can reuse old names after a period of time.
20  Economy / Lending / Re: [WANT] 6000 USDC Secured Loan on: April 26, 2024, 05:26:52 PM
But I doubt a smart contract will work here since the collateral needs to be put at stop-limit order in able to secure the amount of collateral to 110% price margin.

The contract holding the collateral until the borrower receives funds is all you need.   If the borrower agrees with your plan, neither of you needs any more protection.
