I actually started with stellar 3 years ago. Been reading the forums and articles about cryptocurrencies and found out Bitcoin. And it's simply much cooler and valuable than any other crypto. But for fun i also keep Doge and ltc.

I'm still confused with stella, thats virtual money or not hahah

yeah stellar is digital money, I see everyone always says about stellar few years ago. if I am not mistaken stellar started booming when in 2013, they made a giveaway with large numbers, and each user can get a very large amount.

1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WORST decision about BTC on: August 03, 2016, 02:17:26 PM
The worst my decision was when I first investment and it is HYIP, I put a sizeable amount. worse they scam after a few hours I invest
1525  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long you in bitcoin world? on: August 03, 2016, 01:54:23 PM
I use bitcoin since 2013, but indeed so many negative issues, as well as positive. This sometimes makes me think, not to invest in the long term. finally I just took advantage of short-term, such as trade.
1526  Economy / Speculation / Re: 350 USD in August on: August 03, 2016, 01:47:47 PM
It's coming

EDIT: This topic is my proof. Everyone thinks that it's not possible but why not?

I call it a bubble.

With btc @ USD 541.50 in early of this month. I guess is time I take back everything I said acouple of weeks back concern the price of btc bubble cos when said the bubble will happen I don't believe it and my question is. How do know all this right in time when btc was at peak price?

I wouldn't call hackers dumping $70M worth of bitcoins as a bubble. Once the panic sellers sold all there bitcoins, prices will start rising again.

Even if the price of BTC were to somehow drop to 350 I'm sure it'd rebound unless it fell due to some major flaw in BTC or (and more likely)heavy outside interference. The price of BTC will rebound and the people selling will have to buy back in if they still want the profits of BTC
it could happen, if you've heard the news, bitfinex losing 120,000 BTC ($64m), how if the big dump to happen? I think it very likely drop to $350. but I do not expect this to really happen.
1527  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: August 03, 2016, 01:31:29 PM
I think most of us here are at around 18 - 40, not sure though, but usually at  at 18 we've given freedom by our parents to do what we want, and not much monitoring our activities in the internet, and at 40, I think at around 30 to 40 years old, that's the time that  some of our fellow are engage in many jobs and side jobs to earn big.

Yeah, I also think that most of that using bitcoin is an age you mentioned. But I also see there is some age under 18 years of age who use the bitcoin and they get excellent benefits when leveraging bitcoin. I think this is not a problem, because the problem is how to gain favor when using bitcoin

I think the average is 22-30, because the average age of 22-30 is the time to work and earn money, and bitcoin be an alternative option, after a difficult looking for a job.
1528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: August 03, 2016, 11:55:53 AM
I'm going for Barcelona v Leicester today. Even if Leicester did well in the Premier League, they are of course not in the Barcelona level, so I expect a win for Barcelona. Also I expected it to be over 2.5

Barcelona v Leicester
Barcelona @ 1.22
Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.49

very easy to predictable, easy victory also for Barcelona. previously, Leicester city lose 4-0 by PSG. probably a big score will be repeated again when against Barcelona.
1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: August 03, 2016, 11:47:35 AM
Always keep in your mind that gambling can make lose your money easily in a second. So, try to not be greedy and self control on gambling and enjoy your profit.

Yeah, the main centre in deciding we didn't get addicted in gambling is the mind. If our minds respond to excessive gambling, then it would be bad to us and vice versa. Greed is a manifestation of our thoughts too melebihkan gambling than others and vice versa

greed is very close to gambling, because we always thought it very easy to make money from gambling so people are always greedy to make more. but true, the activity to more profitable to avoid the greedy, self-control and discipline.

People play gambling because they want money and gambling is one and only game where we are not using anything except money and we can call it is a money game, so definitely people make greedy and than they play it, personally i never see a single man who want to play gambling only for time passing and passion. But when we show our greedy in gambling than gambling destroy us, so you are right, self control and discipline.

therefore, we should be able to change your mind about gambling. gambling is not easy to get a lot of money, then you do not get too greedy, or will not get any benefit.
1530  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: August 02, 2016, 03:56:45 PM
It is PANIC SELLING now, the price of bitcoin keep going down and i think many people sell all their bitcoin and makes bitcoins' price become worst.
I hope it will not happen to make the price become worst because the value of bitcoins that I will be receiving from doing online task will be lessen. I know it is the opportunity for those investors but really very bad for the workers online. Regardless of what will happen we have no choice but to accept the price.
yes it would be bad for miners and also the people who took full time for bitcoin. I hope it can survive in the price of $500.
I think this could be due to the effect of some altcoins such as ETC, I hope the price of bitcoin back soon increased and stable.
1531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you give advice because the price right now is falling.. on: August 02, 2016, 03:35:20 PM
I have sold when prices stable at $625, and a good time for me at this time to buy. but to sell at this time is not so bad if you feel have profited, and then you can buy back at low prices.
1532  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $2016 by the end of 2016 on: August 02, 2016, 03:32:11 PM
Not likely to happen this year maybe next year it will hit $2017  Cheesy
You can always dream I guess  Roll Eyes

I think so. The $2016 price is too high for this year. It is a price bubble. It could be OK for 2017 or later.

This will obviously impossible, this is like a dream. we have more than 3 years, and it is still difficult to go back to touch $1,000.
but wished it came in 2017 very likely, if the end of the year could reach at least $800.

1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: August 02, 2016, 02:43:16 PM
Try to give focus to your family and try to fulfill their need with that you will notice your responsibilities and so you will be remained away from gambling.

This is going to help you staying away from gambling and you must be able to have communication and good relationship with your family.

And you must get addicted into so that you are going to have focus in your family instead of putting your full focus into gambling.

That is going to be a good choice.

I think the average people who gamble, they were teenagers, so it does not have the responsibility to provide for the family, so they think are free to earn money or spend it on gambling. still difficult to do it that way. because the essence of gambling is to make money, so to get away, you should be able to get money in a better way.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: August 02, 2016, 02:37:55 PM
if counting from the start of play, may not be counted. but every day I play with what I can afford to lose. around 0.001-0.01BTC
1536  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 25, 2016, 01:42:00 AM
I don't think I will, Going full-
time on something this
unpredictable like bitcoin is
a recipe for troubles IMO, it's
like depending on gambling
to make a living which is also
something that never works.
Seriously though BTC is too
unpredictable in price that it
barely works as a money
investment, it's a great and
interesting system
technically though.

nice copy-paste coment
you are just a spamer ?

Plutons BitcoinICYMI London-based start-up Plutus Tap & Pay raised money in a “Crowdsale”.  Plutus is creating a contactless payment system for cryptocurrencies. According to a statement by Plutus;

“Over a thousand people rushed to participate to what was probably the shortest 9 day crowdfunding round to raise over $1 million USD in digital currencies, and over 4532 members have already signed up to prepare for the launch of Plutus.it.”

Plutus explains that while Bitcoin utilization is growing worldwide, mass adoption by merchants has not really happened. There is really no Bitcoin point of sale infrastructure in place – yet. They want to create a practical application for digital currencies to be utilized by merchants now.

The Plutus team says it has a “singular vision” to create a streamlined payment system using blockchain.

1539  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-07-18] Why Bitcoin's Halving Was a Boring Vindication on: July 18, 2016, 01:28:30 AM
An event anticipated in the bitcoin community for years came and went last week with little fanfare and, a week later, little impact.

At approximately 12:48 EST, the 420,000th block on the bitcoin blockchain was mined and sealed by F2Pool, one of the largest bitcoin pools, earning its members 12.5 BTC. This marked the second halving, and the first time a miner would receive the reduced subsidy.

Programmed into bitcoin's code, a halving event is when the subsidy for miners securing the network is cut in half. When bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto first released bitcoin, miners earned 50 BTC per sealed block. Three-and-a-half years later, or 210,000 sealed blocks, that reward was automatically cut in half.

This cut in the subsidy is bitcoin's way of controlling the total supply of currency that will ever be released. When the last bitcoin is released in 2140, there will be a total of 21m total bitcoin in the market, though many will not be in circulation due to loss.

Heading into the event, there were predictions on what would happen, with some speculating that the price would drop immediately after to others suggesting worst-case scenarios.

But what has become clear, at least in the first week after halving, is that halving was just another day for bitcoin.

1540  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: July 11, 2016, 01:47:18 AM
I think now bitcoin has got a stability, and I think it is much better for bitcoin as with that more people will put their money in to bitcoin without any fear of volatility, and more businesses will appear with the payment system of bitcoin.
For now bitcoin stable because whales is on a passive move of manipulating the price. I think they already profited from the dump they did weeks ago when the price is at 700 and suddenly drop to 600.

agree it, now bitcoin price more stable, i think whales is not only the one reason, i think the last halving make bitcoin more strong, minner want to buy as much as possible, also more investor come to buying bitcoin.
