1521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if ethereum had a maximum coin supply set from the beginning? on: February 28, 2019, 12:20:21 PM
I don't think fixed total supply will help Ether increase its value. But, I think that adding a fixed total supply to ETH is wrong because ETH is not the same as Bitcoin, Bitcoin is a payment coin, and Ether is a platform token. The main reason why Bitcoin has fixed supply is that they don't want bitcoin to be the same as fiat, where the authorities can make as much as fiat money they want. While Ether act as a gas for Ethereum platform, and  it will be wrong if Ether has max supply.
1522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How far will Litecoin go? on: February 28, 2019, 12:04:22 PM
How far will Litecoin go? As far as Bitcoin go I guess, I never saw Litecoin price spike up when Bitcoin price going down, the same as I never see Litcoin price going down when bitcoin price increasing. For me personally, Litecoin is a decent investment, but that's all, you can't expect more than just a fair enough profit in Litecoin. Thus, investing in Litecoin is a very low risk. As long as Cryptocurrency exists, Litecoin will still exist.
1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving on: February 28, 2019, 03:12:04 AM
Well, even though all of that is very true. If there are any other alternatives besides ICO, I think both investor and project developer will take the chance to try those alternatives rather than staying on ICO. Recently, there is something new called STO, and it starting to gain popularity. Many people claim that STO is more secure than ICO, and more scam-free, but it has not been proven yet. However, people still moving to STO,, ICO is not dead yeat, but it already lost the public trust.
1524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why SLS coin is dumped that hard? on: February 28, 2019, 02:56:57 AM
This project has everything they need for their coin to be dumped by the market, their developer is not active anymore, their community is not active. I believe their project does not offer anything new either. And all of those things make their coin market volume so low since no one interested in this project now. Still, better than other projects that immediately died after concluded their ICO, but if I still have SLS I will sell all of my coins immediately. Fortunately, I don't own any SLS anymore.
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft Stratis service supports ICOs on: February 28, 2019, 02:30:44 AM
I don't think this decision by Microsoft has anything to do with Bill Gates, now he is more focused on his own agenda in Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and as we all know he is not the largest shareholders of the Microsoft anymore, so I don't think he would have any ability to interfere with any Microsoft decision anymore.

Moreover, this is a very good news for cryptocurrency, at least I hope this will elevate the price a little bit.
1526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best Tron (TRX) wallet? on: February 26, 2019, 02:49:47 PM
I don't think there is any hardware wallet that better than Ledger Nano S, wallet. This is currently the most popular wallet among crypto investor. It is extremely secure and has its own good reputation among other crypto wallets. However, if you are looking for another alternative I can suggest Trezor wallet, it is slightly cheaper than Ledger Nano, S, but and has similar security features as Ledger Nano S. even in one of the model it also offer a touch screen to make it easier for the user to input any data/information.
1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's with these Binance ICOs? on: February 26, 2019, 02:03:34 PM
Absolutely because Binance has extremely huge daily trading volume. It makes the hype for the ICO, does not always mean the ICO is good. And when an ICO is held via Binance, it will be instantly listed Binance Exchange, so investor will not need to worry whether they can sell their coin or not after the ICO is concluded. In my opinion, this is good, why? Because Binance do the check and research before they decided to facilitate an ICO. So, at the very least, it reduces our work as an investor.
1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your expectations for this year? on: February 26, 2019, 01:56:42 PM
To be honest I really do not expect anything this year. Last year was the worst year of crypto I have ever experienced, I lost much, too much that I am ready to face anything, because I don't think it can be worse than last year. So, just bring it on. However, I still believe that this bear market will end and we will see the light of the bull run soon.
1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one is using dapps on: February 26, 2019, 01:51:31 PM
In my opinion, the main problems of all those Dapps are that most of them do not offer anything new, all the game-based or gambling Dapps are not different from any other game and gambling platform. And in this case, since dapps is new, I don't think use will move to dapps if they are not offered anything new. For the decentralized exchange, well, it might be true, that they are more transparent and secure since we never risk our asset to a third party, but most of the Decentralized Exchanges are lack of features and unstable.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate ethereum or any decentralized platform. I use DEX and play some Blockchain based games, and the statement above is very objective. Based on my experience as a user.
1530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ICO is a good way to raise money? on: February 26, 2019, 01:42:18 PM
Well, it is not the best way to raise money, there are many other better ways to get your project to be funded, but ICO is definitely the easiest one, and that is one of the reasons why many people using it as a scam method. And as for the Investor, ICO is also one of the easiest ways to make profit, you just need to buy the right ICO, and hold it and sell it on the right time. You, don't need to look at the chart everyday, or working on anything.

OK, APNGs are now detected. Old ones are grandfathered for now, in part because people have ongoing campaigns, but in the future I might (or might not) go through and remove them.

Seems like English is not listed in the preferred language for Video Creation campaign, and it is a bit weird, so I ask this question.
Can I make youtube video in English?
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 12 Best Cryptocurrencies for Long-Term Investment [2019 Edition] on: February 25, 2019, 02:04:36 PM
Among those 12 coins, I agree to the most of them especially Bitcoin and Ethereum, no matter what happens they are still the most reliable coin to be invested in. However I found some coins that in my opinion is just a pump and dump coin, or shit coin, I mean the project of this coins does not really solve any problem nor needed by the crypto community. Like Tron, there are many coins that better than Tron such as IOTA  and Waves, or even EOS is better than Tron I think. And also I don't think you can put XMR and XVG together in the same list, those coins have exactly the same function. If one of them succeed the other will not, so you better choose one of them, for me Monero is better, but XVG is not bad too. But, I still don't think you can put them together in the same list.
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elitetreum Scam Token on: February 25, 2019, 01:56:59 PM
I am so sorry to hear your story, I have heard some stories similar to yours, when the company suddenly issue their own token to replace major coin like Bitcoin that they use as payment before, some of them never put their token into exchange and then just turn out to be exit scam, but some of them are actually listed their coin in exchange and after that you might trade your token into Bitcoin or Fiat.

You still have hope though, just keep contacting their support and ask them when their token will be listed on exchange, while doing that. You might gather other people that also invest in that Elitetreum, and you also can make a thread in the Scam Accusation section here.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you monitor your crypto portfolio? on: February 25, 2019, 01:50:07 PM
I think one of the most famous crypto portfolio tracker is Blockfolio, when I am reading a thread that asking for portfolio tracker suggestion most of the people in here suggesting Blockfolio. However, if you are mainly using your android phone to track your portfolio, I found many better apps that have more features than Blockfolio, like Blox and Bitsnapp. In those apps you can either add manually your coin or even connecting them to your exchange wallet using API.
1538  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Blacklist of exchanges. Independent rating on: February 24, 2019, 11:10:16 PM
Blacklist of exchanges

These exchanges are not recommended for trading. They do not have an appropriate licenses. The risk of loss of your funds 99%

Want to trade on proven exchanges? Here is a list of officially approved exchanges by the Bitcoin.org community.: https://bitcoin.org/en/exchanges

Binance (binance.com)
Huobi (hbg.com, huobi.com)
OKEx (okex.com)

~snip

I might be agreed because I have some issues with other exchanges on your list, but why you put all three Chinese exchanges as the top on the list? I
I never tried Huobi though, but Binance and OKEx? Come on man, they are really good, their support are responsive, and their platform and system are very stable, compared to other exchanges. Moreover, I think Binance has set a standard for other exchanges in term of UI, and Coinlisting. I know that Binance has some problem with their API and it is abused several times, but they handle it well.

I don't know how some people said that Binance demand KYC, I have been using Binance more than 1 year and never send any documents to them, and I can deposit and withdraw any coins. I think OP is just "Chinese Exchange Hater"
1539  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coinexchange.io on: February 24, 2019, 01:34:50 PM
How long since you contacted their support? If it is only a few days, you might still have a chance to solve your problem, they might reply in a week or two.

The only problem I got with coinexchange.io is they randomly block my IP Address since my internet service provider gives me a DHCP Private IP Address if I got unlucky they will block my IP Address. Once, somehow my account was blocked, I don't think I did anything wrong, and I still got some deposit there. And I contacted their support, and ask whether I can get my account back, or if they can transfer my deposit to my account. Finally, after about 8 days, they answer my complaint, then I need to verify my old account's email address and transfer my deposit to my new account. I immediately withdraw everything I have there, and never go back.
They are not the worst though because their support still answering my complaint, and I don't lose any money, but they definitely need to improve their support and their system.
1540  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-Alpha all coin scam? on: February 24, 2019, 01:25:50 PM
I only used BTC-Alpha once when I was trying to sell my token I earned from Bounty Campaign, I found much stability issues in the platform. Random log-out and refresh in my browser, and then my deposit suddenly gone and it came back again. But finally, I can sell my token and withdraw some LTC to my account. Then I never use BTC-Alpha ever again. I don't know if they scamming people or not but I am sure their platform is total trash.

And by the way, I wish their support can solve your problem. And even though after your issue solved, don't use BTC-Alpha again.
