Thats a shame as it was a good advertisement for the project, I sincerely hope they carry on pursuing a listing on the exchange regardless though, I could see a massive increase in value if this was the case From what you stated the policy is against using their logo before listing thus they could have pass the information in written text without logo just to make the people aware Yeah I probably think it's text aswell but doesn't matter, let's hope they still get listed on there. Good to see it's popping up in various websites beyond just Bitcointalk, projects like this really need to get their name out their, hopefully they will also submit their ICO to some ICO Review sites, as its a good way to drum up positive press. As well as things like press releases to various news agencies. The more they can get their name out in the wild the more attention they can drive and the better for the project overall. That article was a pretty good read and explanation. Hopefully we see more coming on other sites. This is the best way for a project to get it's name known and lets be honest it's all done on speculation and hype. Let's hope they continue to receive the good reviews they are getting. Look forward to the Oracle hub implementation. |

But I still think it also attracts a lot of people who are only out for the money and don't really care about the project and what it is trying to achieve. Airdrop could be nice option. I don't know the history why 4NEW did not opt for one or have already completed airdrop. But airdrop sometimes also cheaters and scammers into the project and they dump the tokens for quick money. So I would avoid that incase of 4NEW as this is a quality project with mission and vision in mind. Airdrops are a good and a bad thing. Good in the fact, it gets the project more known within the crypto community, but bad in the fact that usually these "free" tokens / airdrops will just get sold straight away as soon as they are worth any cash. I think in the long run, it serves well. My only CONCERN:
I heard an interview with CEO of polyswarm, he was asked why NTC token instead of ETH? He responded, that NCT will provide more stable price. Does this mean the NTC price will be pegged? That would pretty much decrease overall ROI. Any thought on this ?
There is not a single word in the white paper about NCT being pegged to anything. I don't know the interview and the respective context, but I don't think he was referring to a price peg. i have also not seen this interview anywhere. Do you have links to the video or article? I would like to see or read it to understand better. No CEOs will talk about the future token price as far as I have seen it. This is somewhat misunderstood I think. A link will be nice as well. I highly doubt the CEO of Polyswarm intends to peg the price of NCT, i don't think anyone would wants to invest in a pegged token a steady and healthy token price growth is what suits everyone. Yes. In general, the blockchain technology will whirl up the freight industry, and contractnet will probably be one of the first companies to profit from it
I definitely agree, the transportation and freight industries are great markets to target with a lot of money and investments for Contractnet to potentially secure! This project has so many markets/industries it can enter the potential revenues and income are massive. This is a very good investment. Indeed and transportation seems to be moving towards more iot based implementations that tie into things like gps tracking and fuel tracking etc that is a lot of data flowing around I actually find it interesting how transport is moving towards modernization so quickly It's a good thing that the contractnet project is looking into transportation as a form of service towards it. Transportation is a big industry with a lot of fortune and worth. The market potential for this industry is huge, I truly think alot of money can be saved in the transportation and automated systems which will save entreprises alot of money. Considering the bureaucratic burden of shipping a shipping container from China to Europe, and then possibly transporting it by train, it is only logical that they look for simpler alternatives such as the blockchain. Many such projects are under construction, Contractnet will probably become one of the first providers This is why I think Contractnet and cryptocurrencies in general with the blockchain technology will be the future. I just really hope that goverment don't screw up this technology with implementing regulations and whatnot - for the foreseeable future I think it is the way forward and will save enterprises alot of money which will push the markets up eventually in the long run |

I see Polyswarm has raised 23 million i think that 23M is a pretty impressive amount if you take in to consideration that they didn't have a referral program or bounty program. I believe the money generated was because people believe in the project and not just the hype.

Yea, the project has a pretty vast area to cover, with every inch relating to our day to day activity, so it will definitely be a hit, is not like it has just a single market, the application can be utilized in every sector of life, so you see, there is little margin for loss Yep diverse environment for usage is one of the reason for me being excited for things that integrated with IOT devices, as it is such a large scope if the project can reach even 0.5% of the market its still an enormous amount of decides that it would affect. Team will need to work hard but its definitely doable. Agreed, 0.5% is really huge, the team have a lot of work to do, imagine having something simple like having your alarm clock switch on your coffee machine in the morning or it might be much bigger, like the development of smart cities, with connected devices managing traffic flow, reducing waste or improving energy usage. Some pretty interesting thoughts and I like the idea of a potential development of smart cities, with connected devices managing traffic flow. I just looked at your referral program and thought: WOW, 11% bonus, that's really a lot. But after looking at the other levels, I came to the conclusion that this was a mistake.

Lol 11% is a bit high for referral program but then again one should check the motive behind allocating 11% bonus. By giving high bonus for referring people, people will surely want to enroll for the referral program thereby helping ContractNet achieve their goal of inviting people to their community. 11% is pretty high but on the plus side of that, it should give more motivation for the ContractNet community to invite friends to get involved resulting in a healthy 11% bonus per referral, I think this could work quite well. |
