yes but Crypto is unregulated. We want it unregulated. In an unregulated world you live and die by your own choices and cannot pass the buck to anyone else.

I agree 100%

However if this shit continues it WILL NOT stay unregulated forever.  First thing to get regulated would be the exchanges.

So its simple then. Don't buy coins that are brand new and made by a dev with a newbie account.

If people followed this simple rule then these scams would stop instantly.

This is the example I used in another thread:

Say I own a casino, and I let companies come in, and put their own slot machines on my floor.  I don't bother to check the machines to make sure they pay out as advertised, I just let anyone put any machine on my floor.

So now when those machines are found to be rigged to take 100% of your money, who is at fault?

The poor schmuck putting money into the machine?

The slot machine company?

The owner of the casino?

yes but Crypto is unregulated. We want it unregulated. In an unregulated world you live and die by your own choices and cannot pass the buck to anyone else.

Bittrex has done it again!

Listen everyone, this will NOT stop until we boycott Bittrex.  Seriously as a community we need to step up and put an end to this shit.

bittrex haven't done anything. They are not there to tell you if coins are a scam or not, they simply offer a trade platform. They don't know anymore than you or me if it is a scam. If a coin has volume and interest they will list it.

YOU then decide whether to trade it or not.

Just shut the fuck up and get the fuck out, scammer.

Tired of people defending Bittrex, if its up a regular old joe schmo to review the code fucking Bittrex should too.

wow, what an angry man you are.

I aint even mad.... I'm more saddened at what I see.  I didn't buy into this coin, or any of the other scams.  Just sad watching people get burned over and over due to pure scams.

I agree but you can't blame that on the exchanges. The only people to blame are the devs and the people who buy into brand new coins made by a newbie account and promises of vapourware.

The code was fine, it was modified an hour ago. People mined it, there was a lot of interest, Bittrex offered a service to buy and sell it. It isn't their fault the dev is a scammer and people are endlessly naive.

Want to stop the problem? its easy.

Don't buy brand new coins made by brand new accounts. These scams would be gone in an instant.

I hope so

Imminent was a week ago, it must be down to some kind of quantum measurement of time now.

Yeah imagine a whole 24 hours without going on the internet.  Must be dead

It's no surprise people get concerned.  The amount of pure scam coins is huge. Concern is healthy. That said 12 hours not online is hardly long

Hi there,

As we posted on Twitter, we are almost ready to announce our future plans! We just need to handle a couple of important things, which shouldn't take too long anymore.
We don't want to make promises we can't deliver.

Feel free to promote SATē on Twitter and other social media!

Thanks for your support! We will fill you in with more details very shortly.

What is your definition of very shortly?

Dev could bump the price with just a quick post to say he's still here. Even if he has coins to dump
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ ANN ] SATē - A new dawn - PoS - No Premine on: July 22, 2014, 08:37:43 AM
SAT2 goes to 0.00000559BTC.
That is the old half a satoshi.
AT this rate we are going to 5 satoshis when we were with the old SAT
which was SAT2 x 1000

Don't worry, did you saw their last tweets? Something is coming. People are just stupid as always and will panic buy their way back in once more news comes out.

Yes,I saw some tweets but this is a double-edged sword.
While we wait for some news,sat2 is at the verge of the existance.
As I previously stated,a little bit of sharing and communication would not kill anybody.
I was here from the day 1 and i am ready to invest some more funds in the form of buying sat2 now that is a baragain(at least we think so)
but I am affraid that we can stay empty-handed with only vague announcements left...

I have to agree here. Communication has been poor. I mined this from start to finish with around 30% of the total hash rate throughout. I liked the paper they released and believed they were serious about their plans. I even chattend to Bittrex-Bill and singlehandedly got him to add SAT2 to Bittrex.  After that there has been literally zero information out there. Not having a go at them but it would be nice to just have a little communication from the team about what they are doing and planning.
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - Presale Started! on: July 21, 2014, 08:47:01 PM
So will there be any changes after a lot of displeasure shown by people?

As I mentioned we'll be reviewing the reward schedule and there will almost certainly be a change there. I think many of the other miscalculations and misinformation that was posted by others in earlier pages has been clarified at this point.

will you review the fact it is merge mineable?

If people can mine it for free on the back of another coin they will just dump then instantly and multipools will do the same

1538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / help please solo mining on Scrypt ASIC on: July 21, 2014, 08:53:50 AM
Can someone point me to the easiest way to solo mine on a scrypt ASIC please.

It's wirelessly networked to the same network my PC with the wallet is on, is there some way I can just point it at my wallet daemon?

Just to play devils advocate.

If you file your annual return late you get a notice of proposal to be deregistered, even if its only a week late. It's happened to me before.

Not saying this is or is not the case, just pointing it out. I have no idea why this notice was issued.

Here is more

http://www.wbcomtax.nic.in/General_Information/Deemed_Assessment_list2_web.pdf

Green Earth Systems mentioned on the official website of the Directorate of Commercial Taxes for the Govt. of West Bengal

Not to pick hairs but GES were the receiver of those goods, not the shipper.

Sorry you're right but either way it showed they have the capital to order 20 tons of leather.
It's a couple pages back, I know, but let me quickly look at this one.

The PDF specifically says this is for "DEALERS WITH TOTAL SALES LESS THAN RS. 3.00 CRORE". Okay, so how much is 3.00 CRORE? Apparently, 1 CRORE = 10,000,000, and we're dealing with Indian rupees. So, less than 3 CRORE means less than 30 million rupees. It's roughly 60 rupees to the dollar right now, so all we can say for sure is that according to this PDF (what year is this for?), Green Earth Systems had less than $500,000 of sales.

How does a company with less than $500K of sales back trades of urea worth apparently $7.5 million? And they had shipments of leather and girls clothing about a year ago, which proves... um... what does it prove?

Best case I see for URO at this point is that it turns out you can buy 1 ton of urea with 1 URO... only to find that shipping of the urea will cost you $300 per ton and it's not part of the contract. LOL

To be fair that is only business in bengal.  Doesn't mean business is not bigger elsewhere
