Would like to know your takes on betting as a group to raise chances in local
Lotteries

I know that mathematically the chances are still really low even if you multiply it 100x but in Brazil at least we’ve seen some local lottery prizes given for small groups of 20 or 30 people betting betting with 5000x tickets let’s say

If dreaming alone is cool dreaming in groups can be even better

It's a good idea for many but I don't think I can be part of it if it so happens that the lucky numbers come out and you're the one who thinks and bet on it, you'll regret sharing your money with others, it's not about greediness but winning in a lottery is like one in a million or even higher if it's almost impossible to hit the jackpot it's better to have it all.

And there are scenarios that will cause panic among members what if one of the tickets won and the caretaker of the tickets told the others that he lost the winning ticket but the truth is he just hide it to claim the jackpot for himself, you never know what other people's motives are when it comes to money so its better to bet alone and win alone, the group chances is the same as yours, if you're going to hit the jackpot, you're going to hit the jackpot that's fate.

If I understand the concept right about Signature Campaigns and they make money of it because people here on this forum make publicity by placing a casino or service in their signature. Then I would say the convertion rate at a traditional website is higher. Not?

The signature campaign is both for lead generation and in my own words branding through visibility, here in Bitcoin signature campaign projects are branding themselves through visibility and reputation, people have a recall on products and services when they keep seeing them, so when they think of soft drink they easily recall Coke and when they think of shoes they think of Adidas and Nike because they have recall because of their visibility.

The success of the signature campaign here depends so much on the bounty manager because he is the one selecting participants who can generate good conversations on topics that will interest visitors from search engines and on this forum.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: *** Exploring Unique Advertising Opportunities in the Gambling Sector*** on: August 01, 2023, 09:26:59 AM

I would like to discuss an alternative path. One that not only strays from the beaten track but also bridges the gap between different online communities.
That alternative path is only good if it converts, everything we all know about advertising and marketing whether it is traditional or alternative depends on interaction and conversion, advertisers pay for leads and conversion.

Quote
My idea is simple: Instead of relying on traditional advertising methods, why not explore the potential of direct advertising within the crypto gambling community? But here's the twist - instead of limiting this to crypto-focused platforms, we introduce these opportunities to a broader audience, such as the community at commonsensetv.nl.

Imagine a banner that not only promotes a crypto casino or service but also sparks a conversation about the potential of cryptocurrencies. Or a blog post that informs and entertains, subtly highlighting the benefits of a particular casino or game, while also educating readers about the broader implications of cryptocurrencies.

The question is will it generate interest, the main reason why Facebook advertising is successful is because the platform targeted users' interests based on the advertiser preferences, one example is I like Boxing so on a sports website where I am a subscriber if they show advertising like cooking do you think I will be interested to look at those cooking banners knowing I am a worse cook of course I will just ignore it, but if they displayed an article about up and coming fight between two undefeated champions 100% I'll click on it.

Quote
This approach allows for a more targeted advertising strategy, fostering a sense of community and mutual growth. It also opens up the door for long-term, creative collaborations. Think sponsored tournaments, branded games, or even the development of new, innovative gambling platforms.

By embracing these alternative advertising methods, we can create a more engaging, dynamic, and ultimately successful gambling sector. One that values creativity, community, and the unique opportunities that cryptocurrencies provide.
The question is have you tried it, the bottom line is conversion happens when users' interests and platforms meet, you mentioned that you've tried Adsense and Affiliate programs what's with these two types of advertising that you think is lacking in terms of leads and conversion?

1525  Other / Off-topic / Re: please help, google authenticator app is missing on: July 31, 2023, 11:10:50 PM
Maybe someone has experienced the same fate as me, the Google Authenticator apk is missing! Maybe my friends know a way to be able to enter Google Authenticator without a key or is there another way to deactivate Google Authenticator so that when we want to enter a market account, we don't need the Google Authenticator key anymore? Hope someone knows about all this, thanks.

I hope you're not hacking someone's account but if you lose the Google Authenticator without the backup key you lose your access, when you are setting up an authenticator the first time you are given a key and a reminder that if you lose the authenticator, you lose your access. This is your way to get in without the authenticator,

The other way is to send support they will request proof of ownership, and will have to prove that you own that account by sending them all the documents that they will request to prove you are the rightful owner.

After they grant you your request you can then disable the authenticator on the security page of your account.
1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Certified Bitcoin Professional on: July 31, 2023, 10:21:48 PM
Certificates are proof that you have undergone a test on what you know on the subject and the issuer should be credible enough to back you up on your knowledge about the subject, like you never know someone you met until you see the certificates that he received.
There will be a lot of jobs and professions that will include knowledge about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency and you will need something like this to back you up if you're a company and you're going to hire someone you want to see as many courses your applicant has gone through that is related to the job applying, so is when you're an applicant.
In the future, we will have Universities offering this kind of course, there's a lot of demand in many sectors where knowledge of Cryptocurrency and blockchain is essential.

Made the site for him and he paid me, legit guy

You know that things don't go exactly as you are trying to portray. I'm not going to get into a deeper discussion about whether you're being honest here, but you come after a long inactivity here on the forum, in less than 24 hours you made an agreement and finish the job.
After that, you leave this kind of feedback.

Simulating successfully completed work by creating an alt account is not desirable anywhere, not even on this forum.

Interesting finding it's not even 24 hours part of the deal is

I will give you only the topic amd you create the new blog and you write few articles with few images. All can be generated with AI!
You create the new site under the domain and hosting I will provide you
It's very fast to complete all of these, Fiverr the completion takes 24 hours in my case with my first blog post it usually takes 30 hours complete with plugins, I have the same suspicion if it's ok please post the created WP blog with all the tasks created.

Quote
Bankman-Fried is currently facing multiple charges, including one related to campaign finance contributions, as he prepares for his trial in October.

Quote
In keeping with its treaty obligations to The Bahamas, the government does not intend to proceed to trial on the campaign contributions count

1529  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Jason Lowery's Twitter account hacked on: July 31, 2023, 11:43:36 AM
maybe it's not so surprising that nobody falls for this scam anymore. it used to be quite different on twitter when the first 'send me 1BTC and you'll get 2BTC back' tweets from hacked twitter accounts were circulating, a lot of people fell for it - maybe some have become smarter now... on the other hand, the hackers are always trying to scam new crypto users for their well deserved satoshis Tongue
The tweet is still there, Twitter is very slow in taking this tweet they are an incompetent social media platform and right now the wallet has three transactions https://mempool.space/address/bc1qgerh5dr9nmyfsd6xy7j97as09nf3ynmn0thp9q so there's now 0.00181439 BTC$53.34 it's bait because there are people already posting in his tweet that the account was hacked so it stopped there, this is a cheap trick and will always be even if the tweet comes from top personalities once it ask for funds its always questionable.
1530  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoX.World - online review guide on: July 30, 2023, 11:35:52 PM
Hello, and thanks for your feedback.

I will try to respond to your questions:

1. Casino listings are free, I do not charge any fee to be included on my site.
2. Our ratings are based on our experience with reviewed casinos, also we gather info from reputable sources and of course, our community it's free to share their experience.
3. If you have a question about monetization, please note that this website operates on an affiliate basis. However, if a casino will have in the future a negative reputation, it will be flagged and potentially removed.

If the listing is free and operates on an affiliate basis then feel free to add as many casinos that you can review, it's different when you are charging a fee you will have to send an offer to casinos to get listed, I recommend that you put a scam category for scam casinos, just don't include any referral link just a normal link, casino players also want to know scam casinos and the various complaint on them.

I also recommend that you get yourself a Copper account and design your announcement to make it competitive and for you to gain the trust of the community, there are already well-established casino reviews here but the room is still open for new review sites like yours.
1531  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano nga ba ang Vishing? on: July 30, 2023, 10:23:47 PM
1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KSI v Tommy Fury Misfits Boxing 14th Oct on: July 30, 2023, 09:22:41 PM

Quote
MF & DAZN: X Series – The Prime Card will feature KSI vs Tommy Fury, an upcoming cruiserweight exhibition crossover boxing match contested between British YouTuber KSI and British boxer Tommy Fury for the MF cruiserweight title. The bout will take place at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England on 14 October 2023.[2]

American YouTuber Logan Paul and an unannounced opponent will also headline the event as a double main event.

KSI finally fighting someone of worth. I don't think he's as good as Jake so will probably struggle against Tommy. Rumours are the rest of the card is going to be stacked with the best of the youtuber boxers.

Tommy Fury has proven how good he is by beating Jake Paul I don't think KSI has a chance at all what will interest the public here, it's going to be a lopsided match Tommy should be fighting real boxers if he wants to achieve what his brother Tyson achieved.

His career as a boxer is going nowhere if he keeps fighting Youtubers because its a no-bearing match and it's not a stepping stone to have a good rank in boxing, we can understand if its a match again Jake Paul because the first match is close, but fighting KSI is like he is not taking his boxing seriously and if something goes wrong and KSI upsets him, he'll have something to regret.
1533  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful with sharkoin.com !! Scammy and Shady Website with a very rude Owner on: July 30, 2023, 02:13:54 PM
Never ever play or invite people to a site which has no reputation or popularity. Without checking whether the site is legit or not how you invited people to play there? Who will be responsible for the losses to those people? Nevertheless, now you should have been aware and try to avoid these types of sites. I still wonder how these people are getting to know about such shady casinos. These casinos trap victims by giving unbelievable offers and at last block withdrawals. Always play at trusted casinos.

I agree with you if this is the case but the case presented by @OP is different.  @OP has been inactive for 5 years and there is term and condition stated on the earlier reply by @ScamviruS statedthat the account inactive for a certain amount of time will be deactivated or suspended and the other policy about fund withdrawal.  I think @OP is the one who is at fault by neglecting his account and being inactive for 5 years and the casino is just implementing what is stated on their Terms of Service which @OP had agreed.

Unless @OP can present a line from the gambling platform TOS that favors his claims, then I do not see any fault from the casino here.

I don't think OP can present one, any casino will do the same thing, and some casinos will delete your account, 5 years is such a long time this is the first time I read about this casino and checking on Whois https://www.whois.com/whois/sharkoin.com
Domain:sharkoin.com
Registrar:GoDaddy.com, LLC
Registered On:2016-10-03
Expires On:2024-10-03
Updated On:2022-10-23

They are already in existence for seven years now, they have a bad rating on Trust pilot and OP is one of those who posted a negative review on Sharkcoin https://www.trustpilot.com/review/sharkoin.com

But here in Bitcointalk, they do not have a presence or a complaint here.

OP's complaint is not valid for a scam complaint but people should be careful playing in this casino as they have a lot of negative feedback on Trust Pilot even if TrustPilot reviews is not the parameter to judge if the site is good or scam.

Its still preferable to play on reputable casinos that have an active thread here

I know WordPress but I'm not offering WordPress setup service this one just intrigues me

Later I might have more complex website projects like eCommerce sites.

If part of your goal is to become a webmaster, then starting a WP blog is your stepping stone to more complex sites I always recommend to aspiring webmasters learn how to code how to design their website so in case there are issues you are not paying freelancers again and again for simple issues if its WordPress you can set it up easily and use this site for a step by step

https://www.wpbeginner.com/start-a-wordpress-blog/ What you can learn from setting up a WP blog you can apply some of it on a more complex site like an E-commerce site.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 30, 2023, 04:13:09 AM
Crawford stop Spence in the 9th round in what could be considered a one-sided match, it's not an even match Crawford's jab is hurting Spence a lot and he totally dominated him we all thought it's going to be an even match BUD proves that he is way better than Spence, he makes Spence a nobody by putting him in the canvass three-time.
I don't think this match deserves a rematch the way Crawford beat or should I say manhandled Spence.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 30, 2023, 01:50:08 AM
Bad day for Donaire, he loses by a unanimous decision Santiago totally dominated and it looks like father time caught up with Donaire he did not break his record to continue to be the oldest champion, I think its time for Donaire to hang up his gloves there's nothing left for him its the end of the road for him unfortunately.

115 - 113 / 116 - 112 / 116-112 all in favor of Santiago
1537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: July 29, 2023, 11:32:15 PM

So why this belief or do you think it could be true? Or is it one of those superstitious belief among gamblers?
Do you feel cool sharing your predictions with other people and how has the outcome been looking at all the times you have shared your predictions with others?

You can't take that away from gamblers this is gambling its a game of chance even if it is a horse racing where the factors can be analyzed like handicapping, the horse and the jockey's track records the condition of the race track their belief will still have a factor, it's just so weird to know how they first established it.
I have a friend who believes in the powers of the colors he's wearing because he first won his first winner-take-all bet wearing a particular color, and it established that after he won again wearing that particular color.
Some gamblers are particular about things that contribute to their winning that it became their belief.
1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 29, 2023, 10:58:49 PM

Yeah, the undercard as well is very good, Cruz vs Cabrera could be another explosive fights as Cabrera is making fun of Cruz and Isaac really wanted to get his hands on Cabrera. Of course the might anticipated return of Donaire, we will see if he still has it. Winning the WBC belt back will put his name on the history again, not just at 118 lbs, but could be the oldest reigning champion for this year.
Right now this early three hours before the event, I am looking for pages that will likely show a live feed for free of the two undercards Cruz vs Cabrera and the Donaire - Santigao title match is all good we know how good Pitbull Cruz is but Cabrera is also a decent fighter he is unorthodox with very quick long hands I have seen him fight twice and I'm impressed he is undefeated but if he cannot make Cruz respect his power he is in big trouble.

The Donaire - Santiago is one fight we all waiting we will see if this is Donaire's final fight or if he will continue if he wins the match and the title.

And of course, the much-anticipated match between Crawford and Spence that took several years to deal with, I bet $100 against a friend that Crawford will win, it's a tough match to bet the fight could go either way, it will go to a fighter who wants it most.
1539  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Had 165k ETH stolen last night. on: July 29, 2023, 10:25:16 PM
Sorry for your loss.

Care if I ask which wallet(s) you used to access this account?

Worth noting, I had about $7k in my wallet all day, untouched. But as soon as the large deposit came in, it was swiped. Clearly, it was a targeted operation.

So, the first question you should be asking yourself is who knew you were about to receive the large deposit.  Obviously you don't want to answer that here.

That's a good question that is worth an answer, for a hacker if they have malware in your machine will move that amount right away because $7k can be considered a big amount but it seems it waited for that huge amount to move in so he can do, it can be considered a targeted operation if the hacker knows there's an incoming huge amount or the malware can only read amount that is higher than $7k so it remains untouched until the big amount move in and sent the notification to the hacker to move the funds.

Since it mentioned that there is an interaction to a smart contract address can you give us the name of the platform where you interact, that could be the culprit, this is a lesson here, do not put a huge amount on the wallet that has an interaction with any platform, use a new address on a new wallet.
1540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ADVICE]Boy Wins $46k from Sports Bet but Can't Tell Strict Religious Parents... on: July 29, 2023, 02:41:38 PM
Someone recently won $46,606 from making a correct prediction on one of the matches in the on-going 2023 FIFA Women World Cup competition from his wager of $10 on a sports betting website. The person is unemployed and within the ages of 20 - 23. He lives with his parents who are strict religious people that frown on gambling and other youthful vices. His parents are certainly not going to be happy that their son engages in gambling despite winning such huge amount of money. He doesn't want them to be upset with him. He says he's going to keep it a secret. I disagreed with him because despite having strict parents, they are going to be mad at him for a little while but I don't think they'll tell him to return the money. What do you guys think? Should he tell his parents or secretly invest the money while acting his regular self around the house?

20 to 23 years old is enough to decide for himself and take responsibility for all his actions if he gambles and wins that big amount he should take it, tell his parent, and explain that he is old enough to do things on his own as long as he is a responsible guy.

His parents will be mad but he should not give the money back and just explain that gambling is for entertainment and he is not spending more, he should use the money to set up a business and prove to them that winning is a blessing for him so he can set up his own business if he kept it a secret his parents will eventually know it and there will be misunderstanding, its important in a family to be open and honest.
