.. if you are aware of it most likely scammers and hackers cannot really do anything about your wallet.

I agree AWARENESS is the key, awareness of what hackers are trying to do and awareness of what you're part of awareness is taking your time and being mindful of what you're doing, you should not trade when you're mind is wondering, have a drink or two, having emotional issues or even sleepy or just wake up.

Hackers have found ways to scam you through copy and pasting using clipboard malware I hope we'll have a dedicated board for security and malware so we can explore ways to combat this.

1122  Economy / Services / Re: *** SEND BULK EMAIL *** Blast Your Message to Millions on: September 23, 2023, 12:41:09 PM
I am offering a very simple but valuable service: I will send your message by email, having a reach of up to 500K per day with up to 10M uniques. You decide how many people to send to and for how many days to run the campaign. You can make the email message yourself or I can design it for you. My email lists are US-based consumers / general interest

The price is based on CPM (cost per 1,000 emails sent). It is $0.30 CPM with a minimum of 100,000 for one day. You can choose 1 to 30 days for duration. For example, if you chose to run a campaign for 30 days at 250,000 your cost would be (250 * .3) * 30 = $2,250 and over that time you would reach 7.5M people. I recommend that people choose a duration of 3-5 days.

Please be aware that campaigns run Monday through Friday as a matter of policy.

I accept Litecoin for this service, so whatever the USD result is would need to be converted to Litecoin for payment.

This is the easiest way to ruin one's business, we have a  CAN-SPAM Act
Quote
..a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have you stop emailing them, and spells out tough penalties for violations. The FTC enforces the CAN-SPAM Act and the accompanying CAN-SPAM Rule.

and they impose heavy penalties
Quote
Each separate email in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act is subject to penalties of up to $50,120, so non-compliance can be costly

so this is for every spam email you sent.

A legit business does not resort to spamming because besides the stiff penalties, your site can be reported to your domain registrar for abuse and violation and they can flag your domain and your account, there are legit and proper ways to acquire subscribers, not this way.

1123  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Miss Universe accuses Philippine Blockchain Week for Miss Universe Coin on: September 23, 2023, 10:45:22 AM
Source: https://web.facebook.com/MissUniverse/posts/pfbid0CfzxEEeVHmVocLDhKDvSAKcyiehRTBAZiSwJkXiZa2mJnXj3b3XYNkxNfEwv91BHl

Dati na announced ito ni Philippine Blockchain Week sa kanilang post here.

Nung sinabi na it would outperform SHIB, dun na ako nag duda at nangin sketchy siya. At isa pa, si Miss Universe never siya nag share anything about the coin until they've released a statement accusing sila ni Philippine Blockchain Week for promoting the unofficial Miss Universe coin.

Maraming salamat in advance.

1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling with Cryptocurrency on: September 22, 2023, 06:26:02 PM
For me, it is three  things and these are

  • Play money that you can afford to lose and
  • Take time to read the TOS of the casino and always be aware of the changes
  • Play in a casino that has proven its reputation

If you follow these three things you are safe, your gambling experience will be enjoyable and you will not log out depressed and feel sorry.

1125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seniors apply patience and kindness to newcomers on: September 22, 2023, 05:51:45 PM
I have concerns about the interactions between experienced members and newcomers in this forum. Occasionally, some experienced members can be quite harsh and may forget that newcomers are here to learn. While constructive corrections are beneficial, it's crucial to avoid using harsh or abusive language.

It's true that some posts from newcomers may be of low quality or show a lack of willingness to learn initially. However, I believe that giving them a chance and treating them with kindness is a reasonable approach.

Usually, it comes from newbies breaking rules and not doing their part in the discussion some of the newbies I encountered are all about spam and trying to scam, if a newcomer did his assignment check out the rules and do their part in contributing in a healthy discussion I don't think they will harsh words I seldom give harsh words to a newcomer who is trying his best to have a good output in a discussion.

If you're a newbie you have to earn your way here you have to show that you did your assignment and you deserve to be part of the community, the forum welcomes new people who will come and be part of a community with the intention and mindset of participating in a healthy discussion.
1126  Other / Meta / Re: question on: September 22, 2023, 04:46:36 PM
is it ok to advertise link to faucets or other platforms to earn some satoshi ?

Your best option is to create a website where you can house all the faucets that you want to promote, with a  website you can promote as many faucets as you want, and you can review each faucet and post your payment proofs and create your own announcement thread about your reviews on faucets where you are active.

I have friends who got a lot of referrals by reviewing faucets and posting payment proofs, by having your own website, you give value to your readers there are a lot of tutorials about setting up a site on the internet Wordpress is the best option to start a website.

1127  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 BITRUBY.IO 🚀 - The Future of Crypto Gaming 💰 Double Your Deposit Up to 200% on: September 22, 2023, 02:47:54 PM

Thank you  Smiley We provide 10k of RBC token for all new users, for testing games actually, may be need to mention it somewhere on website

Nowhere on the site it is mentioned not even in your announcement post, people will be at a loss of what this RBC token you should explain in your announcement, on the homepage, or after a user signs up as a notification they will mistakenly consider this as a tradeable token.
It seems you are not fully prepared when you launch your site you have edited, omitted, and need to add something on the platform, I hope users will not encounter any bugs just like what happened to a new casino here where they spent a lot of money to set up their platform only to be wasted because of bugs and errors experienced by users.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 21, 2023, 11:44:04 PM
I have read a lot of gambling threads both here on the forum and in other forums. This makes me to draw the conclusion that most gamblers are either too lazy to read the Terms and Conditions (T&C,)or they don't just care about it. The results of which leads to misunderstandings and frustrations, often resulting in negative reviews and complaints that may not accurately represent the casino's practices. It is too bad. I have noticed that when gamblers don't read the T&S of a casino, they :

Everything is on the terms if you accuse a casino without fully understanding your complaint that it is a violation of the casino's terms it will likely backfire, when it comes to the casino's terms they are the one who has a say, and it is irresponsible on your part if you are unaware of your violation and you will pay the price if you ignore the TOS of the casino.

Casinos can easily win a case if you overlook and violate their terms, they expect their players to take heed and follow their terms and some casinos want you to ignore their terms, so they can confiscate your money, they have terms unreadable, hidden and they change it from time to time, putting players off guard, so be sure to be always updated on the terms and follow it by heart.

1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are no KYC casinos taking risks? on: September 20, 2023, 11:10:15 PM

Do you think your casino can be regulated without the AML policy? The requirements says it's all, so is it possible that those casinos doing their no KYC stuffs are not even registered?

We all love to have the no AML policy and no KYC but we are not protected and the bad actors could just use the casino platforms to wash their dirty money the AML and KYC are there to protect the good players and the platforms so they can continue having smooth operations.

When there's money coming in and out the authorities will always check if the platform is not being used by terrorist hackers and scammers and what the best way to do it by the platform is by knowing who are their users and what's their intention.

1132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is The Father After All on: September 20, 2023, 09:07:17 PM
It is interesting to know that large number of Bitcoin and none Bitcoin holders are looking forward to 2024/2025. This is the year which so many experts has predicted to be the halving season, where price of Bitcoin will definitely hit a higher price due to scarcity.
These experts' predictions are not guaranteed to hit a higher price value so it's not definite, the market is highly volatile and it depends on the news that's feeding them, even if the supply is lessened it still depends on the good and the bad news circulating in the community, but a lesser volume coming from miners' rewards will have a big impact in the community and the price in general.

Quote
You must be wondering why none Bitcoin holders are also looking forward to that same year,... Well it's because of how effective Bitcoin price will be to the crypto market entirely.

In other words, Bitcoin has the power to make a great price impact in the crypto market in general, which makes it the father of all.
It never ceases to stop being the price indicator of the majority of coins in the market until now and it has a market dominance of 47.57% and will continue to be so in the next decade or more.
1133  Economy / Services / Re: 👉 Brainboss Managerial Service 👈 [ANN, Signature & Bounty - AI, NFT, DeFi] on: September 20, 2023, 04:41:00 PM
One hell of a reputable and productive manager on the forum with years of experience in management and crypto projects on his feathers.

Need good services in promotions and more?

<< HIRE >>

Agree I like reading Brainboss's output in every discussion that he participated in, so he knows how to pick the right participants in his campaign for maximum exposure whether it's an altcoin bounty, a casino, or exchange, or mixing Brainboss is highly recommended to manage any campaign.
1134  Other / Meta / Re: Considering new feature for Bitcoin Forum on: September 20, 2023, 04:20:11 PM
I was thinking that a new feature might be interesting for the forum. Is it possible to implement zapping (with lightning) on topics, comments and profiles' bio?
I met with this idea on stacker.news . I found it very useful. Let me know you thoughts.

Best regards,

I don't know if zapping with lightning is possible in the SMF forum it needs a lot of modification, people are already motivated to participate in healthy discussion, and merits are far more valuable than getting rewarded by sats besides good posters can participate in signature campaigns which is more rewarding.

Checking stacker.news Bitcointalk is far better when it comes to discussion.
Like all the rest of the members, I request that you move this to the meta section where it should belong read the rules and learn how and where to post.

1135  Economy / Economics / Re: Early Retirement [Pros and Cons] on: September 20, 2023, 02:03:42 PM
.. he retired early (at the age of around 35 years) now he is around 45 years old but there is an illness he is suffering from and he has to get proper treatment which quite expensive, so he sold some of his valuables and also withdrew his investment in shares.

as long as you can still make money, don't even think about retiring early, I know early retirement is everyone's dream but who knows what will happen next, you have to maintain your grades and productivity so that you stay healthy and respected by people.

Retirement is never in my mind with the current economic woes in our country and inflation and the value of our currency going down pensioners are losing their pensions worth and besides the body will become weaker when it stops doing what it used to do for so many years, it's ok to take a short vacation or rest but we should always find ways to make money and get the body to work.
The mind and the body will suffer from boredom due to inactivity and it happens when you retire from work I've seen senior citizens still working because they don't want to procrastinate, which will harm their well-being.
Our time to retire will come when it's time for us to go into this world.
1136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there another similar concept? on: September 20, 2023, 10:16:37 AM

I had to ask this, although I know someone here may have reasoned in line with this, having read something similar as a post thread or comments in any section here.

° Can an online business besides just a gambling platform, which accepts Bitcoin as payments or for payouts, run a signature campaign on this Bitcoin talk forum, or is the term 'signature campaign' strictly attributed to gambling platforms?

I remember doing campaigns on platforms that are not gambling and mixing, in the past, there were projects like exchange, tokens, and play to earn that launched signature campaigns and they paid Bitcoin and some of them paid half of the payment in their native token any platforms can run a campaign it just happens that gambling and mixing platforms rule the signature campaign, right now we have exchanges and community-based token running signature campaigns hopefully in the future we'll see more signature campaigns in different industry

Quote
° Is there another kind of forum for online businesses that accepts Bitcoin as payment, which is similar in concept like this forum? If no, is there any other discovery you have had that's close in initiative to an active community as this, which aims to help advertise, market, educate, inform and encourage adopting payments in BTC and crypto currency in general?

Your thoughts and opinions are welcomed!

I was a member of forums that pays to post the admins are the one paying there are no managers this is when Bitcoin is not yet that popular but right now Bitcointalk rule the Cryptocurrency forums there are other forums but projects seldom run a signature campaign there.
Bitcointalk is the most visited forum in the Cryptocurrency niche because Satoshi is one of the founders of this forum.

1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: September 19, 2023, 10:50:15 PM

By the 1st round, we can already determine who will. If Zhang still wins this fight, he must deserve a title shot. How crazy would that sound that a Chinese HW becomes a champion in WBO? Only in this era.

I almost forgot this thread that I created on the Zhang - Joyce match yes, I agree with you most of the rematches just pick out where they left off.

In the first three rounds we can see if there's an improvement in Joyce and Zhang will still dominate the jabs, Zhang Jabs is very dominant in their first match I was in awe of how those jabs went through Joyce's face.

Everyone was shocked by the outcome but more so in the first round when Zhang established his dominance.
Let's see if the first round will the like the first round of their first fight.

1140  Other / Meta / Re: Ideas for new factoids? on: September 19, 2023, 04:03:07 PM

It is possible, but I'm not sure that it's worth the trouble... If a local community has several factoids and really wants it, I'll probably do it.

I vote that it should be added and it's much better if it's written in a local language, the factoids are submitted by the local community, so how about every local board create a thread of local factoids that they can submit to the admin to show on their board?
