Gambling sites depend almost entirely on gambling. All the active members here and almost everyone externally are addicted to gambling.
<cut>

I'm not entirely sure that's true. While it's certainly true that gambling sites rely heavily on revenue generated from their users, I don't think it's fair to say that everyone who participates in online gambling is addicted. In fact, I'd say that the majority of users approach it responsibly and with self-control, enjoying it purely as a form of entertainment rather than relying on it to make a profit or satisfy an addiction.

1524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUSD Future on: March 13, 2023, 10:19:16 PM
Recently developments do not favor BUSD, When the founder of the BUSD do not feel comfortable in keeping his money in BUSD, why we people should keep our stable coins in BUSD ?

CZ is not the sole founder of the BUSD. BUSD stablecoin was launched in partnership by two companies - Binance and Paxos. Therefore, it wouldn't be accurate to attribute the founding of BUSD to a single individual.

On February 13, the Paxos CEO and Co-Founder of BUSD, Charles Cascarilla, released a statement concerning the future of the cryptocurrency:

Quote
BUSD will remain fully supported by Paxos and redeemable to onboarded customers through at least February 2024. New and existing Paxos customers will be able to redeem their funds in US dollars or convert their BUSD tokens to Pax Dollar (USDP), a regulated US dollar-backed stablecoin also issued by Paxos Trust.

The complete statement can be found here: https://paxos.com/2023/02/13/paxos-will-halt-minting-new-busd-tokens/
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fee. on: March 13, 2023, 09:37:04 PM
How do you ensure that you are not paying too much for a transaction

Basically, as already mentioned, keep an eye on the current network congestion and use a fee estimator or a similar tool to determine a reasonable fee. Adjust the fee based on your preferences for transaction processing time. Generally, higher sat/byte fees will result in faster transaction processing times, but at a higher cost. If your wallet has the Replace-By-Fee (RBF) feature, you can use it to cancel or increase the fee of a transaction that was initially sent with low fee.
1526  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does blockchain have alternative keys or password? on: March 13, 2023, 08:51:00 PM
If you lost your blockchain key; can it be recover or is there any alternative key one can use to recover account or wallet?

No. If you lose your private key (or seed phrase), unfortunately there is no way to recover it. That's why it's crucial to keep your recovery seed phrase safe and backed up in multiple secure locations to avoid losing access to your wallet.
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A costly gambling mistake on: March 13, 2023, 08:26:19 PM
This is so true! How many times have we heard someone complain about an online casino being unfair, only to discover that they were the ones who messed up by breaking a rule they didn't even know existed?

Let's be honest, most of us are guilty of skipping over those pesky rules and regulations unless we're forced to read them. I gotta admit, I'm totally guilty of this too. But when it comes to anything involving your hard-earned cash, whether it's online casinos or something else, you really need to do your homework and know what you're getting yourself into.

So to all you newbies out there, do yourself a favor and take the time to read through the rules and regulations of any online service you're considering. I know it might not be the most thrilling read, but trust me, it'll save you from a world of hurt in the long run. And if you do end up losing all your money because you didn't bother to read the fine print, well, don't say we didn't warn you!
1528  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: --WARNING--BlaBla Game (BLA) is a scam ICO! on: March 13, 2023, 03:39:26 PM
Fake team and abuse of people’s names and photos: What is certain is that they don’t want to reveal their real identity and abuse people’s names and photos. But if they intend to stay in this market, why should they do this? We leave the answer to you.
It's not enough to just share a couple of photos of alleged team members and say that they are fake, you  have to provide some proof and show us that they used stock photos (most popular way), or simply someone else's profile photo.

I agree. Just saying that something is fake without any proof doesn't really convince anyone.

I tried to do some snooping around to see if I could find out more about their team. It appears that Inna Halahuz, the CEO, is a genuine person. However, I couldn't find any reference to the BlaBlaGame project on her social media profiles. According to her profiles, she is from Netherlands (not Ukraine) and part of the marketing and BD team at Crowny.io, as well as serving as the CMO of obsworld.io.
Twitter | LinkedIn

I couldn't find the original version of the image that was used on the blablagame.io website, but there is a black and white version on obsworld.io:

It seems unlikely that an individual who maintains an active presence on social media would completely overlook mentioning a project that they supposedly have been leading as a CEO for over a year and it raises serious questions about her involvement in the project.
1529  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk IV (2022 Q3) [MODERATED] on: March 12, 2023, 08:45:34 AM
My original account username naveedgondal I work on from 2020   my account restricted 3 month for post on bitcointalk due to join a giveaway on bitcointalk I submitted tron Address in thread then I used naveedsgd account in those  3 month it's my brother account I never used both accounts same time please remove my negative trust now almost 9 month I unable to join bounty because bounty manager not accept negative trust I work only one account on time

@Naveedgondal, you are lying about this, again. Last time you claimed that someone used your data:

I have no multiple accounts somebody useing my date

Are you forgetting about that? And now you claim it's your brother's account?

Also, your claim about never using both accounts simultaneously is simply not true. The evidence shows that you've participated in numerous bounty campaigns over the years using multiple accounts since the day you created both of them. Another lie, apparently.

It's unfortunate that there are people out there preying on newbies and taking advantage of their lack of knowledge
I can't really call this preying on newbies, he's targeting people with many wallets and lots of money.

Hey, newbies can have a lot of money too!  Cheesy

But yeah, not many of them would shell out $300 for this software. Maybe the guy would've had more luck if he gave it away for free, but I bet people would catch on to his scam pretty quickly. (I'm curious to check out the source code, but I'm definitely not paying $300 for it.)

1532  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Decipher xprv or seed from keystore when I know the password on: March 10, 2023, 06:52:01 PM
I want to decipher xprv and/or seed because I know the password, but I have no tool to do that.

How can I do that?

If you know the password for your Keystore file, you should be able to access your wallet using a compatible software or wallet. Many wallets support importing Keystore/JSON file, which would allow you to access your funds. You don't need any special tool for that.

What software did you use to create the Kystore/JSON backup file?

1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you interpret the fluctuation of Bitcoin price ? on: March 10, 2023, 01:37:45 PM
I personally believe that despite the recent drop in Bitcoin price below $20k from its mid-February high of $25k, it's still a reliable investment compared to altcoins. The volatility is reasonable and it's just a fluctuation that happens in the market, and experienced investors tend to buy during market crashes like these, knowing that it can give them huge profits in the midterm and long term. However, it's always important to be prepared for FUD in the market. The recent dip in the Bitcoin price is due to the shit show happening behind the DeFi sector of crypto. Even though Bitcoin shouldn't be affected by this recent bad news, weak-handed investors tend to panic on every news that is only remotely related to Bitcoin, causing the market to dump.
1535  Economy / Reputation / Re: Please tag this scammer and have a warning flag on: March 10, 2023, 01:09:56 PM
It's unfortunate that there are people out there preying on newbies and taking advantage of their lack of knowledge, but we can all do our part by spreading awareness and making sure people know how to protect themselves. We really have to be careful with our private information, especially our seed phrases, as that's the key to accessing our crypto assets. Once scammers get their hands on that, it's game over. No one should ever give their seed phrase to anyone, period.

So, it's really important to be careful and not fall for these kinds of tricks. Never give your seed phrase to anyone, and be wary of any software that asks for it. There are other ways to keep track of your cryptocurrency without putting yourself at risk.

I have also supported the flag against the user. Hopefully, by raising awareness and flagging the user's malicious actions, we can prevent at least a few unsuspecting newbies from falling for this scam.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports arbitrage on: March 10, 2023, 12:40:50 PM
In my opinion, sports arbitrage is actually a pretty cool way to make some money from matches, regardless of who wins or loses. Basically, you take advantage of the odds difference between different bookmakers to ensure that you come out with a profit.

But it's not as easy as it sounds - you need to have accounts with multiple bookmakers to make it work. And even then, there are some risks involved. For example, bookmakers don't really like it when people do this, so they might close your account or restrict your betting if they suspect something is going on.

And then there's the fact that there's not a lot of profit to be made - usually less than 5%. So it might not be worth the risk for some people. But hey, if you're willing to put in the work and take the risk, sports arbitrage could be a way to make some extra cash!
1537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Bonus is Casino History on: March 10, 2023, 12:29:25 PM
In my personal experience, I have always avoided using deposit bonuses that come with high wagering requirements, such as those that require players to wager 30x or more the bonus amount. While the prospect of receiving a bonus is enticing, the high wagering requirement makes it challenging to unlock and access any potential winnings. Instead, I prefer bonuses with lower wagering requirements that offer a fair chance of winning without requiring excessive playthrough.

It seems that many players prefer bonuses with low wagering requirements or no wagering requirements at all. A no deposit bonus is also a popular choice for players who want to try out a casino without risking their own money. A daily claim bonus with certain conditions can also be an attractive option for players who enjoy receiving bonuses frequently.
1538  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tor Safe & Reliable Escrow on: March 10, 2023, 08:25:03 AM
Great questions, I'm looking to buy stolen BTC at a discounted price.  I attempted to buy from a vendor in the "Dark Market" who goes by the name The_King who claimed to charge 10% of the BTC wallet funds.  i.e. Pay $50 for a wallet containing $500 worth of BTC.  It all looked valid and I trusted it as he was labeled "Vendor of the Month" and I thought I was putting my funds in a multisig escrow but I checked the account a day later and my funds were moved.

I strongly advise against attempting to buy stolen BTC or any other illegal activity. Not only is it morally wrong, but it can also result in serious legal consequences. In addition, there is no guarantee that you will actually receive the BTC you are paying for, as you have already experienced in your previous attempt. Seriously, how could you think that paying only $50 for a wallet containing $500 worth of BTC was a legitimate deal? It simply doesn't make sense for anyone to sell BTC at such a steep discount, whether the coins was acquired through illegal means or not.

Instead, I recommend that you invest in BTC through legitimate means, such as buying from a reputable crypto exchange or from a reputable seller if you want to go the P2P route. These options may not provide the discounts that you are looking for, but they are safe and legal ways to invest in BTC.
1539  Economy / Reputation / Re: SBF-Ross Ulbricht on: March 08, 2023, 02:21:50 PM
SBF who is the most hated person in the crime world.

Huh
I'm not exactly an expert on the crime (under)world, but I highly doubt that he holds the title for "most hated person" among those circles.   Cheesy

FTX bankruptcy has completely destroyed the entire cryptocurrency market. For which the market has not been able to solve so far.

Let me check some facts for you:

The BTC price before the FTX collapse was approximately $21,000. As of today, the BTC price is around $22,000 (although it was around $25,000 just 15 days ago). The total cryptocurrency market cap before the FTX collapse was just over $1 trillion. Today, the market cap is still a little over $1 trillion. So, why do you think the market hasn't recovered since then? Also, I definitely don't agree that the FTX bankruptcy destroyed the cryptocurrency market, so I'm curious where you got that from.
1540  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Withdrawal Frozen For $12,800 & No Response on: March 08, 2023, 12:56:22 PM
Nearly all casinos require you wager your deposited amount at least 1x before you're able to withdrawal.
Was never aware of this earlier before now.  So if I fund my online casino account more than I planned to and intend to withdraw the surplus immediately, I won't be allowed to do that? Unless I wager up to the deposited amount first.

Yes. It's true that the majority of online casinos require players to wager their deposited amount at least once before they can make a withdrawal. This is a common practice across the industry and is designed to prevent money laundering and fraudulent activities. But, as yahoo62278 already mentioned, it's always important to read the terms and conditions carefully before making a deposit, so you're aware of any requirements or restrictions. Some casinos may have different wagering requirements, while others may not have any at all.

So, as a general rule, most online casinos don't allow users to use them as a mixing service. Typically, they'll require that you do more than just deposit and withdraw funds through their wallets, and may have specific criteria that must be met.
