1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 19, 2023, 02:46:48 PM
PSG looked to have an easy win after they got two first goals easily but their defense caused a nightmare for them. Kimpembe made some personal mistakes in the match and the defense system of PSG is in question again.

Neymar again gets another injury before important match in Champions League. He looks very unlucky with important times in Champions League and World Cup. He is unlucky in his career but sometimes he should look at himself and his professional in taking care of his body. His style on field makes opponent players want to tackle him down and it only increase risk of getting injury.

Messi with a super fantastic free kick at injury time saved PSG and prevented a worse crisis for them in Ligue 1.
I don't really care about Neymar's personal life off the pitch, I think he's free to do it during his days off. But of course that will invite a lot of questions because at that time PSG had just lost in the Champions League against Bayern Munich. But despite all that, Neymar had one important goal today as PSG managed to come back 4-3 against Lille.

Messi scored a really nice winner, it was a world class free kick from the Argentina captain. But there is one thing that needs to be highlighted, Mbappe really celebrated the goal with Messi and hugged him several times during the celebration. A good sign for PSG?
1522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: February 18, 2023, 07:51:55 PM
You can trust bitcoin as currency or secure means of transaction, but you should not trust bitcoin 100% as riskless investment asset either in the short or long term. It's not that I don't believe in the possibility of profiting, but you are also exposed to the risk of loss due to price volatility and your habit and understanding protects your bitcoin and your wallet.

But if you believe in the possibility and potential of winning in bitcoin, do it in an amount you can afford to lose. That to me is much better than you having to put all your budget into bitcoins. Man, you don't know the future, and neither do I and anyone else. So know your own risk.

Yes, Benzema did not enter the Real Madrid line-up against Osasuna. I think Ancelotti rotation plan was pretty good before they played in the Champions League against Liverpool. In the last 5 matches Osasuna has never won against Real Madrid so there is a high probability that Real Madrid will be able to steal full points in this match.

Moreover, Osasuna in their last 5 matches they have been unlucky in the matches they have played where 3 draws and 1 win and 1 loss. Real Madrid can take advantage of the opponent's imbalance to be able to press early in this match.
It doesn't look like rotation about Benzema, I don't know exactly what caused him to miss this match. Benzema was not available in the main line-up today and he was not on the bench either.

I hope Real Madrid can really play well and win games even without the best stickers, but Osasuna cannot be underestimated. Vinicius, Rodrygo and Federico Valverde have another chance to trio in fordward of Real Madrid, and I think they will have to make good difference especially to win. Benzema will eventually be replaced like some of the older players.

We can all agree that today was Arsenal day, they had everything they hoped for well almost everything, they won their match against Aston villa despite going down twice in the match.

Also Manchester City who sat on top before todays weekend fixtures played a draw away against Nottingham forest, picking up a single point this puts Arsenal in top position and a game at hand.
Arsenal's comeback at injury time and Manchester City's draw at Nottingham were is something unbelieveble. Obviously most people think Arsenal and Manchester City haven't very trouble winning their respective match, but the fact is Arsenal would have had very hard time beating Aston Villa without Emiliano Martinez's own goal. It was lucky goal that saw Arsenal claim the top of the table again after Manchester City's draw.

Really, it is such good day for Arsenal. They should be quite happy because of Manchester City's failure today away from home. Arsenal are again ahead of Manchester City in points, now 2 points but there is a possibility of 5 if Arsenal win one match postponed in the next few weeks.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 18, 2023, 11:58:07 AM
Newcastle has been playing a lot of draws lately... Of their last five matches they have two wins and three draws... At a time when Liverpool could win only one out of five away matches... I think Newcastle will win today... They're in very good condition now and Liverpool won't be able to do anything... In any case, Newcastle should not lose...
The most that can be expected from this match is draw, but since Liverpool's performance is not convincing, then Newcastle's victory can be expected. Newcastle have been the better team this season and they are strong enough to stay in the top 4 of the table compared to Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea. Newcastle is the strongest team in the Premier League this season with only 1 defeat in 22 matches. But because they got 11 draws, they are only stuck in the top 4.

Obviously Liverpool will find it difficult to grab points from Newcastle as they have been so inconsistent this season. Liverpool striker's goal productivity is very low, it is only 1.7 goals per game. So I guess you're right, Liverpool will lose to Newcastle and we'll have to wait and see.

For second leg Barcelona potential losing both their crucial players between Gavi have confirmed with yellow card accumulation and latest news about Pedri have absent several weeks later after injuring. Talking about potential team have chance to qualify next round seems Manchester United with advantage playing at home is more favorite than Barcelona.

I think draw is crucial result for up coming second leg and both team between Barcelona or Manchester United have the same chance qualify to next round, there are not important for Manchester United with away goals and next draw on second leg will have taking trough penalty kick for the winner.
Pedri is injured, Gavi has accumulated cards, Busquets is injured and this has given Xavi a lot of headaches as he prepares for the second leg. It's up to who will fill some of those voids, I think at the same time it has worked in Manchester United's favour.

I'll look into that possibility later, but I think Manchester United could be the favorites at Old Trafford. About Manchester United, they are much better now and I'm happy with what they had at Camp Nou yesterday.

The forum is not similar to a school. It is a school. Infact, how many schools teach what we learn here? It does not only have to be bitcoin lessons, there are other aspects of this forum that you can learn other things that are not bitcoin related. Politics, religion, gambling ethics, relationship coaching are all there. Just name it. And it also provides financial tips for keeping the body going.
Each user can choose their own interests in the forum from the start, so they have some freedom about that. I mean every user can learn about bitcoins, wallets or rather be a technical user. Several others have an interest in contributing as scam buster, spam buster or whatever, and there are plenty of interests to choose from.

Learning is not only limited to one thing, and in general, this interest must be owned from the start. Focusing on interests will allow users to thrive on forum, and lots of people have proven that.
1528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 17, 2023, 07:54:27 PM
I agree that Liverpool is in bad shape and they are not doing that well at all, there is also the fact that they haven't been good at all this entire year. The difference between "not good" from Real and Liverpool is that LFC is nowhere near the top whereas Real is still winning games left and right.
I personally have never worried about Real Madrid in the Champions League as long as Benzema is not injured. But if Benzema is not available then I think our big hopes are not so good this season to defend the title.

Liverpool could probably do better than they have in the Premier League, and obviously it's a bad thing when we have to underestimate them. Kloop has learned a lot from last season's mistakes, and they will try to improve but Real Madrid are specialists who will not give up easily on any team.
1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 17, 2023, 07:50:20 PM
From the current standings table Manchester city is the leader of the standings with only a goal productivity advantage and Arsenal still have 1 match left, I think arsenal can return to the top of the standings if they can win the 1 match they have in Week 23.
Arsenal still have a chance to reclaim first place from Manchester City, but now the pressure of competition from these two has increased. Of course Arsenal were very disappointed with their failure to gain maximum points in 3 consecutive matches, that's 2 defeats and 1 draw. Obviously it has saved Manchester City and returned to the main position in the Premier League with a high goal difference compared to Arsenal, but things are not finished because Arsenal still seem strong enough to get competition.

If the two teams both manage to win all the points in the rest of the season, then Arsenal will certainly win the title. But I expect them to compete until the end of the season without leaving either side with a large gap in points. In my opinion, there are 3 toughest matches that are still waiting for Manchester City in the Premier League, those are against Chelsea, Liverpool and also Arsenal.
1530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading addiction, are you coping? on: February 17, 2023, 07:24:32 PM
Trading addiction has many advantages as well as many disadvantages, so without becoming too addicted, you need to research the market well and gain experience. Avoiding recency bias in trading starts with knowledge, with education you first understand that it is only human nature to be overly impressed by the results of your latest operation. Constantly check the value of coins more addiction leads to worse chance of gain is less it makes more physically and mentally debilitating.
I don't really know if any of us are addicted to trading, but for now I am totally addicted to long term investing in bitcoin. I don't have to deal with this the way they deal with gambling addiction, and it's clear to me that investing addiction is something that is even more profiting in the future.

I have habit of checking price more than 3 times in one day when I really think that day trading is more profitable than long term investing. But once I realized that, I didn't have to and tended to ignore the fluctuations and continue to hold on optimistically. Right now nothing is more profitable for me than a long term investment so this is a focus I will strive for.
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Know your limit on: February 17, 2023, 07:16:46 PM
Investing needs not to be rushed but it takes a good plan before you will start doing it. And when you do, it’s best to invest at a spare money or from your own savings that you can manage to lose, not from a loan amount or money that is reserved to pay the bills. Because we all know that bitcoin investing is for long term, so we should not expect quick profits from it, the reason why we should only invest with extra money that we are not going to use. However, your friend still insist on his own timeline and his own way of investing. Whatever the consequences, he should bear them all responsibly. And you are not obliged to help him at all times, especially if it’s already crossing your limits.
It's not true that when someone expects quick returns on bitcoin investment, they won't get rich overnight unless they have tens of millions to invest. And it is true that it is highly discouraged to invest with hot money I mean unless they are doing it on a specific budget some kind of savings.

In the short term they are just traders, but in the long term they are investors. I think long term options would be better than day trading for those who are not familiar with how the market works. The best option is to buy and hold and profit from it in the long term instead of keeping money in the bank or something like that.
1532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Awareness needed, 100$ or Bitcoin??? on: February 16, 2023, 08:58:53 PM
Bitcoin is worthless to those who don't realize it, and that has been proven by many. I think there are still many people who are not fully aware of the value of bitcoin in a third world country like Indonesia, and this might answer that $100 is far more valuable than bitcoin.

Here, $100 in fiat and $100 in bitcoin are never considered the same. This means that $100 is much more likely to be taken if someone offers it publicly. In fact, many people don't even have Android here, so the possibility of getting info about Bitcin is very possible. But this should work in a developed country, and I'm sure if they offered it to someone who is in El Salvador then bitcoins are much more likely to be considered instead of $100 in fiat
1533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2023, Bullish or Bearish? on: February 16, 2023, 08:21:54 PM
Bitcoin is starting to show some bullish signs, having suddenly surged today and almost reaching the $25k mark. This is great news for the market, as it may convince the doubters to come back. The market has been bearish for a while now, but I believe that a bullish market will come as a surprise once again. Achieving a new all-time high is not an easy feat, but a bullish market can make it happen sooner.

Good times are ahead, so brace yourselves, guys. This may be the moment we've all been waiting for.
I don't really expect to be bullish, but I do expect a fairly deep recovery after a correction over the course of 2022. January 2023 to date, bitcoin price has been pretty good at finding a recovery as today we have broken through $25K for the first time since $15K was touched. This is a great moment for us to experience, and a recovery like this was to be expected.

Some people think that the bullishness has been confirmed, so it is time to see how the value of the investment portfolio gets better. Unfortunately $25K didn't last long, and now it's priced between $24.5K - $24.7K. I expect price to close above $24.5K today and that to support more movement in the next day.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 16, 2023, 08:14:39 PM
This is what was feared since the start of the season, Arsenal will experience inconsistency after swallowing several defeats in the previous matches and I think Arteta will be under pressure following the unsatisfactory results and he will have to work harder to motivate his team going forward. But I think Arteta is still a successful coach at Arsenal so far, compared to the results Arsenal had in the previous few years. Although currently the number of points is the same as Manchester City, Arsenal still have one game left, so Arteta must really evaluate some of the shortcomings of his team.

In fact, in the Premier League it is very difficult for any club to keep winning every game. So there is nothing to blame because they have been doing well this season, the game against Aston Villa will be an evaluation point for Arsenal, if they still want to be involved in the title race, because I think there is still hope for Arsenal.
Manchester City have proven themselves better than Arsenal even though statistics prove Arsenal is better. Arsenal's defense made a lot of mistakes for which they should be punished, but I think they just failed to learn from their previous defeat in the FA Cup against the same team which Manchester City won 1-0. Of course it was a tough match and one of the best, but Arsenal don't seem ready for the competition where a team like Manchester City can easily pressure them from outside.

The points for the two teams are now 51 together, but Arsenal have 1 match that can still be used to get maximum points to lead the standings again after Manchester City equaled it. Arteta must immediately change the form of his players' appearance, and they should be able to avoid defeat in the next match.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 16, 2023, 08:07:04 PM
Both teams should be really unhappy because they had a lot of chances to win the match and get a good start in the rematch. I think Barcelona was really unlucky in the end of the match the ball just wouldnt go in . Didnt expect such a good match but probobly the best football match i seen this year.
I don't care who is the favorite in the recently concluded Barcelona vs Manchester United match, I think this is one of the most exciting matches I watched today for the Europa League.

Manchester United appeared so determined from the first half, but failed to penetrate the Barcelona goal. Likewise with Barcelona, they had many good opportunities but failed to score. Actually the referee and VAR in this match was somewhat questionable because it was not in the favor of either team, but I don't think that was wrong even though I think it's normal for there to be protests after the match. Xavi protested against this referee decision, but it won't change anything. The 2-2 score lasted until the end of the match, and this has benefited Manchester United in my opinion.
1536  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for February on: February 15, 2023, 01:32:15 PM
Somehow I started to get unsure about $25K in February after I was on the dip for a few days.
I know of several reasons that caused the price of bitcoin to drop during February and fluctuate, and that makes it hard for me to believe that it will go up and break $25K and stay above it. I tend to think that sideway in February is possible, but either way the market could go in any direction although today we have seen the market bounce back.

However, $24K still seems likely to be broken even though we haven't seen big move yet. If today the market closes above $22.5K, then there is a possibility that $24K can be broken within a few days.

1537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you consider spreading FUD to be unethical? on: February 15, 2023, 01:21:15 PM
If you digest it or think about it, not all of the FUD makers are actually paid for or sponsored by certain circles. Because the creators of FUD are actually people who simply hate Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies so they won't hire anyone else to make FUD as long as they can do it themselves for free. So now anyone can tell the difference between people who like Bitcoin and those who don't like Bitcoin, because it always shows in what they say or do through FUD.
FUD not only created by bitcoin haters, but even bitcoin whales can create FUD and pass it on to various media for their own benefit. Realize it or not but I think that's how they manipulate the market where at one moment they can make traders to panic and sell their asset and at another they can hype the market to make increase the price.

There is no right solution to stop FUD because basically there are several people who can use it for their own benefit, but regarding FUD, traders and investors only need to be responsible for themselves and their assets. Ethical or not, it only depends on yourself in understanding FUD and minimizing trading and investment risks.
1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 15, 2023, 03:31:08 AM
They are moving too far from other clubs in Serie A. I agree that none of teams from Inter Milan to Lazio will be able to beat Napoli and take over a first position. Those clubs don't have too good forms that can not be compared to outstanding form of Napoli. The current gaps are big enough and plus with their form differences, no chance for other clubs.

Napoli will have to control their emotion and they can start to think of winning and getting maximum results without pressure on themselves to win too big. They must reserve their players for Champions League.
The Serie A title is almost guaranteed for Napoli this season, and right now there's nothing better than that than to focus their minds on the Champions League. Napoli must be very dominant over their opponent even though Frankfurt is not a too weak opponent, but the performance of the two teams in their respective leagues can be a reference for why Napoli is the favourite.

A ticket to the quarter-finals for Napoli can be hoped for, but I don't think they will be the only ones to get there after Milan also won the match against Tottenham. So I think Napoli will be safe not to push the players too much in the match against Sassuolo this weekend. It must be done to avoid injury even though so far the appearance of Luciano Spalletti's men has been brilliant.
1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 15, 2023, 03:15:49 AM
while milan vs tottenham ended with a narrow win for milan, it was really a good performance shown by diaz, he managed to score a quick goal for milan's victory. even though Milan's performance in the local league is bad, in the champions league I quite appreciate Milan's performance, the second leg will take place at home to Tottenham, I wonder if Milan will be able to hold a draw or even win again from Tottenham later.
It seems that not many people are talking about Milan's win over Tottenham today because PSG's loss to Bayern Munich was much more global. I have to care enough about how Milan accomplishes its mission after not being consistent in Serie A, and this win is a good sign of confidence from everyone.

PSG, who hosted Bayern Munich, had to admit the advantage of the away team after Coman scored. That was the only legitimate goal in the match even though PSG had scored a goal which was later disallowed for offside. VAR has helped Bayern Munich win at the Parc des Princes, and PSG have been very unlucky during the match.
1540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 15, 2023, 03:09:25 AM
For real Manchester city have a chance to take top spot from Arsenal when they face Arsenal in a crunch clash at the Emirates today. One thing with this Arsenal side is that they come alive when playing at home. They have led the table for most of the season but have slipped up in their last two games, with a defeat at struggling Everton and a draw at home to Brentford. I feel Arsenal will approach this game differently and they will come roaring back after feeling aggrieved over the manner of their 1-1 draw against Brentford.
Guardiola's approach to his team ultimately came close to snatching the top spot from Arsenal again this season. But I can't say for sure because the next two matches will really determine who has the right to lead the standings.

Manchester City will travel to the Emirates Stadium to win 3 points from Arsenal. It's true that it was difficult match for both teams both away and home. If Arsenal can maintain their form then they will secure their place at the top, but if Manchester City do end up winning the match then they will be level on points. It's true that this match is far more interesting to look forward to than the Club Brugge vs Benfica match in the Champions League.
