However, the distance between the team ranked 1st and the team below is not that far apart, so if in one of the matches Leverkusen fails to get points then the other team could shift their ranking. There was plenty of time to score but Barca failed to do so. Only 2 goals and a draw was ok for both teams. Honestly that was the fair result, both teams didn't play good enough to get 3 points. Barcelona found too many positions but couldn't finish well. They almost end up losing the game when the ball hit the post. I'm not sure if we should say this as 2 points loss for Barca or 1 point win. The thing is they are behind the race now.
Girona is irrelevant in the long run, only point gap with Real Madrid is important.
