1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 01, 2022, 04:07:55 PM
I think Nets should go on a rebuilding journey again with Kyrie most likely traded and KD looking to opt out of contract as well. The could get future no. 1 picks and for now, just aim to get into playoffs. Could be a franchise defining move if they can find the next LeBron James.

Rebuilding? does not sound like the right word to use. With Durant, they won't be a different team because they have Simmons who is also a superstar, so this team is still going to be a playoff contender or a championship contender, and as long as Durant is healthy, this team will easily get into the playoffs.

Letting Irving go in exchange of more players, that will help them increase their depth and their rotation.

Provably it will be beneficial to them if they let kyrie go because they can have a new taste if they work well with their role players and provably Simmons will do more better performance in Brooklyn than in Phily because he has something huge to revenge for. They just need to convince Durant to stay and if they do then Brooklyn still a title contender next season.

Letting Kyrie go might happen. Nets should not let KD go and try to offer a better deal to lead this team.

Nets is still a good contender if all players will play and be healthy for the rest of the season. Those rumors of trades are
circulating and the decision still unsure whether the Nets will let things to happen and start a new roster and established
chemistries with new sets of players.
1522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: July 01, 2022, 03:32:42 PM
The man is entirely at fault and why? Using the money that mistakenly sent to your bank account is the same like stole money from others. The sender was also making a mistake but in front of the law the japanese guy can be arrested. As far as i know that guy already arrested by the police.

If he was sending back that money and he will not be sued by officials. Just wanna know how many years being sued to takaguchi. There's no new update about this news anymore.

What about the fault from those who processed the payments? Both the sides need to be punished IMO. Law can't be one sided. The guy probably didn't knew that he was spending money that didn't belonged to him. I am not sure how this legal battle will turn out in the court. If the payment was made mistakenly, then the individual should have been contacted immediately and informed about it. In this case, it was not done. Therefore I am not sure whether the bank can escape legal responsibility. This time they will try hard to win the trophy (same with Portugal as well, since this is the last world cup for Cristiano Ronaldo).

I think there will be further investigation to determine whether or not the bank processing the payment is guilty. mainly due to negligence of wrongful act of transfer and this became known two weeks after they contacted the subject. legally the bank will be accountable in court. we have to see from many aspects, I don't understand much about law, especially Japanese legal jurisdiction. I don't agree that the man didn't know that the money he withdrew was not his because the 46m was not a small amount. imagine that money to be distributed among 436 souls. this case would be more interesting if Op continued the new news for this case.

Further or deeper investigation might take place to seek for any possible inside job,

But since the last information coming from this news was the receiver had already been convicted, there's no other
updates about how the government treats the sender and the bank, if they already remove the possibilities of
something being done behind that mistake.
1523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 01, 2022, 07:30:14 AM
How about Karl-Anthony Towns signing a 4 year deal for 56 million per year? That’s crazy money. I’m not sure KAT is worth that much considering he’s never really won anything and he seemed jealous of their new addition Anthony Edwards, who some think to be the team’s best player. I think this contract is going to really hurt them going forward, but they must have felt it was necessary. That’s crazy money though. About 20 million per year more than he is probably worth.

That's a huge amount though he improves last season but I also agree that it was Edwards who brings more explosions.

We don't exactly know what the managements is thinking about this offer, the cap for this team will be more limited, what if Edwards
will receive a much higher offer and the team is already on their max, unless they are willing to pay more. But personally, I don't see that
much value for this big guy, better to use and maximize their budget in acquiring more role players.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 30, 2022, 02:30:07 PM

This kind of high athletes are very active though even if they are not fighting. And by the looks of it, Crawford has the discipline that's why he reach this level of greatness. And so with Spence, when he fought Porter he was out for a long time, and then Ugas. But it didn't show any ring rust. So I don't think it will have a big effect if this two are not going to be active for at least a year like Crawford.
Yes, the physical trainings are intact even they are not fighting. Drills and exhibitions are always active for this

kind of title holder champ, they can't afford to relax and just do the preparation when the schedule is available, more on
their attitude and how they are doing extra activities to make sure that they are fit once the fight already has an exact date.
Champ always takes pride in defending their title.
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: June 30, 2022, 01:35:11 PM
If you invest in stablecoins and want to get big profits then the capital you have to spend must also be large because the price changes that occur in stablecoins are not so big so don't be surprised if the profit you get is small, to invest in the long term then you just hold the potential coins so that the profit you get will be satisfactory later.

Stable coin might move slightly but just like what you said, it can give small profits even you use a huge amount of capital.

Unlike with potential crypto, you can stake the coin while waiting for the value to rise high, It's depend from how you
Believe and trust the developer and how you see the progress that the team is bringing to the project. If you find that
fit then holding and staking can bring passive benefits.
1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8 months low, no better time than now. on: June 30, 2022, 01:01:53 PM
Everyone with their own concept about Bitcoin. If they come to us and tell us that Bitcoin is bad for the environment, then I will have to argue it if the cars and industries that donate tons of toxic chemical and fumes to the environment causing climate change every single year is good for our ecosystem. People just like coming up different different excuses to term something good bad.
The FUDers that had caused the current fall of price of Bitcoin want us to sell our holdings so they can change our mindset and make us venerable and put us in penury.

That's the very reason for doing your own research and study. You can stand and establish your understanding

regarding to the investment/means of transacting that you choose to use or choose to hold, those people who are trying to
shake the market are mostly the one who know how to generate a huge amount of profits out from newbie or weak holders,
they are good at playing with people's emotions and backing it up with tons of money to support their claims.
1527  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to make a telegram live betting group… on: June 30, 2022, 12:23:46 PM
I don't think any telegram group is needed to gamble or get any kind of direction.  Where there is a forum like Bitcointalk. There is a lot of gambling in this forum.  And there are a lot of topics open here that are going to take direction on gambling.  And if you want, you can create a topic here.  That's what you want to know.  So why  need to create a shit telegram group?
The board is for oldschool guys. Newcomers don`t like it. They choose short posts with fast answers - twit, telegram, whatsapp and different video services. As for me - the most useful information i get here, but i have to spend time to find it. If i need some information faster - it would be better to use telegram. You always can choose what is more important right now - fast information that you need to check later or to spend time but to get the proved information

I quit Telegram years ago,,, 2017/18 was the last time I had it. I still open it now and then to look for contacts or files but whenever I open it it totally reminds me of ICO scams and ponzis,,, which is why nft and defi still love it. Gambling groups are 100% better here on forums if you know which threads to focus on.

I have seen new accounts over the years even in Gambling come in and participate and grow so it is not like there are no newcomers. It is very old school though,,, cannot even embed social media  Grin

Like you, telegram was the best place during those days of ico scams, a lot of investors hook to certain group

believing that it can change their life after following them. Those are the days, moving forward with sports betting,
telegram is also good in terms of sharing, but also, the forum has lots of options to learn, not just to follow things
but to use those shared picks are search deeper and find the advantages.
1528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 30, 2022, 12:02:20 PM
My favourite team in NBA are currently Brooklyn Nets. It depends on what team Durant goes to actually.  Grin  However Nets haven't been doing very well for a long time. They have made signings like Seth Curry and Ben Simmons to change the starting five a little. Because they weren't playing that much well before. Seth Curry adapted to the team and started performing nicely. I hope to see his contribution getting bigger next season. However I have big doubts about Ben Simmons. He has had a lasting injury and I don't know how strong he will be able to perform by next season.
I was hoping this time there would be no more drama from Ben Simmons. That's what I want to see and help out Durant posting more wins for the Brooklyn Nets. This will prove if the Nets management really made a good decision in that recent trade for James Harden. The unanswered question was if the Nets knew about that back issue of Ben that had been coming back over and over. I hope they did.
Seth Curry is the big bonus from that trade though, that brother could make it rain 3's sometimes but his strength really comes from his defense. I wish they could maximize that.

The drama will always attached to Ben Simmons, no matter where he goes, I mean the way he severed his ties with the Sixers that drag them for the whole season. So I guess it's more on the mentality of Ben now, no one can help him except himself. Durant could be a good mentor, but what if Ben is missing those free throws and becomes a liability then? So it will haunt him until he improved his free throws or even take a good shot outside so that he can silence his critics.

If Ben can bring that hatred into an inspiration to keep improving his skills and talent, he is still young and there are

many potential enhancement and improvement in his career, maturing is very important not being affected by any critics should
be the thing that he and his agent have to overcome. After all, he will continue to receive a paycheck as long as he is present during the practice and during the game, win or lose, there's no change that will happen to his salaries.
1529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: June 30, 2022, 11:56:54 AM
The price is likely to fall even further because the bull market is still a long way off, but this should not be viewed as bad thing but instead it should be viewed as a huge opportunity to buy bitcoin at a very low price. I have no doubt that we will recover. There are lots of people who believe we will continue to dump which is reason enough to believe we will recover.
Bitcoin will definitely will recover. I believe it and i also bought 1 Bitcoin yesterday price of $20k. Bitcoin has dumped something today. Yet I am not afraid. Because I believe that Bitcoin will recover again and its price will go beyond $100k. It can be a dump for a while. But there is nothing to worried.

Last week it was dumped up to $17K and recovered back to $21k. It's tough to decide when you see your investment

is falling, but that's the challenge with your patience. If you believe that the market will bounce back, adding little by little while
the market still in red is also a good practice, though risk is there that market will continue to fall and it will take longer before
it will regain the momentum. It's more on your own decision to take holding your investment during the bear.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 29, 2022, 10:32:43 AM

I think they are already past in their negotiations of purse cuts because Spence already openly said in the public that he should have the bigger slice and that means no lower than 60% purse cut while Crawford will really take the remaining 40% cut of the purse because he's been calling this fight for long and this is the closest thing he's been into against Spence and he surely knows that he can't afford to get this undisputed match for long because he will be a year inactive soon.

If they want to settle the fight in October then they should announce it no later than mid of July because they still have to prepare for that fight.

They should announce it for better preparation and for the fans to get engaged with the possible upcoming fight,

Unless they are planning for another alternative to promote the fight, access like social media and more hypes while still in
the process, and this kind of writeups and temporary delayed of the final announcement can also be used to engage people's
interest, but I agree that July might be the best time to announce the realization of this possible upcoming fight to announce.
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: June 29, 2022, 10:01:40 AM
in the current bear market situation it looks like stake $1k USDT and get a return of $95 in one year is much better than holding bitcoins. just imagine if you have bitcoins worth $1k at ATH and are currently only worth around $200. sometimes something you think is bad can turn into good luck because crypto market conditions can change at any time.
I think I agree with you here. Cryptocurrency investment involved deep analysis and I don't think most people do that. In this present state of the market where most people like to convert thair crypto assets to Stablecoins, wouldn't it be better to stake those and get some or even a little bit more than just hodling them on the same amount for a whole year?

It's not just an easy to go investment but more on doing your own research and study,

you can earn as much as possible, but the risk is also needed to note down since the volatility is always there. You can
use it as a reference to work deeper.

You need to set your plan and all the alternatives and not just quickly decide when the market is moving against your
current position, most of the time you will lose when you follow the kind of market.
1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 29, 2022, 07:52:56 AM

Perhaps it will be a gamble on New York Knicks to offload Nerlens and Alec to Detroit just to get Jalen. The only connection I see is that his father is still the assistant coach of NYK? Rick Brunson? But still that is not a good reason for them to really want to get Jalen from Dallas with a max contract offers. They already got DRose and can he be a complement to Julius Randle?

A father-son duo? it's possible that this trade will materialize if NYK is really eager to sign him in.

The offer also enticing for both Brunson and the Dallas, Max contract is something that a player will always desire while
playing in this league.

On the Dallas side, future pick might bring them a decent player to help Luka. The trade always happened if both
sides are willing to sign we can't tell what the next season will be, we will just wait for the announcement.
1533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: friendly and profitable board for beginners, have you realized it? on: June 29, 2022, 07:34:28 AM
The fact that you have once won 60 USD by following a tip on this board cannot lead us to conclude that this is a profitable board for beginners.

I agree that the tips or predictions shared here may not be 100 percent accurate but generally, it can give you a good idea and help you make your decision on betting. There is a lot of information and views being discussed and it is surely knowledgeable to read them.

I believe there's a lot of very good bettors in this forum to follow.

I remember when I hosted an NBA tournament in our local section. There's this guy who won in the tournament. He seemed special because he was too good with his predictions. He was first in the our elimination round. It was a right minus wrong tournament with +/- on the matches to make it more difficult and challenging. In his 17 days, he predicted correctly 48 games against only 8 losses. It actually came to my thought of betting a little on his picks. He seemed pretty well-disciplined too by not picking all the games available, it was like quality over quantity. Nonetheless, I never bet on his picks because I was also part of the tournament and his high performance was like a challenge to me who is also a huge NBA fan. If I bet $10 on all of his predictions with 0.90 odds, I would have made a profit of around $350. He then went on to win the championship rounds which was difficult because all finalists starts with zero points again.

Experienced gamblers know how to minimize losses, they know how to balance their bets from the time they are placing bets,
inside the forum you can check all those available topics where you can see members sharing their picks.

Some of them also provides detail information why they are picking the team or if you don't see any info just by following the
ratio of a win over losses, you will see that the member who's doing his share can be a good tipster that you can follow as basis
of your bet, not exactly copying, but you can use each share pick as a reference for your own picks.
1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: June 29, 2022, 07:24:53 AM
It was better to give token sale at the beginning of the year. Because at the beginning of the year the market was much better. But as the months go by, the price of Bitcoin and all tokens have started to go down. So I think now those who are buying tokens or coins with higher prices should hold on. If you can, buy now because if you buy now, you will get a good amount of profit from it after a few months. Now it is better to buy BNB, Ether BTC.

As long as you understand the risk and you are willing to work with the assets that you are holding,

Many projects are still down from the last time high. You need to sort out and do your research in order not to fall
with coins that will continue to suffer from massive drop and are unable to bounce back.

Keep tracking if you already have tokens / coins in your wallet. Selling with losses will frustrate you once the
market starts to be strong again.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything stop on: June 27, 2022, 09:53:50 AM

It's true that it's too risky if we still trust LUNA again, after what happened to LUNA, I don't even think about buying LUNA again. Because I don't want
to repeat the same mistake, it's better to invest in coins that clearly have a good reputation such as ETH or BNB, rather than gamble expecting
a big profit from LUNA, which most likely won't happen. Especially if we create our own token, why care about other tokens, it's better to focus on
our own tokens. We must be careful in making decisions regarding investment issues in the crypto world, because investing in crypto is a high-risk
activity, if we make the wrong decision, we risk losing all the money we have is very large. So think carefully about every decision we will take,
don't let us waste our money on projects that weren't worth buying from the start.

if you see that way, it's good to set your investment away from this project,

there are other alternative assets that you can use and can provide you decent benefits, instead of risking your money
from the project who already shows dump from the previous market.

You need to work it out and be assured that you learn something from the event that the market is really volatile.
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects? on: June 27, 2022, 08:19:07 AM
New projects do have greater potential. can get 2x 3x even 10x profit in a short time. but most of them always don't last long. they just rely on the hype. after the hype ends then the price usually drops very drastically. even rug full.
but there are also good new projects. examples of successful new projects are like Axie infinity.
I myself realize that I don't have much experience and can't analyze a good one. so I prefer not to invest in new projects.
Until the time you already have that capability, it's better to invest only the amount you can afford to lose.

Even you lose, you will earn knowledge, and from that part of your journey you will be able to enhance your understanding
and you will soon make your way to pick the right project to invest your money, new project can bring a decent amount of
profits if the team behind is also aiming for real success and not just a pump and dump project.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How was last crypto bear market on: June 27, 2022, 05:39:34 AM
Bounty isn't as profitable already like in the past, but you can still make money from bounty if you choose the right project and you are also patient enough.

Unlike back when the bounty era still giving a huge amount of profits, now you can still gain from those new projects

but the chance is very slim, there are many available bounty still, but the chance of those projects to pay is not the same with how
it works from the time bounties are really a good profitable ways to earn inside this market.

More on taking your time sorting out every opportunity and find the best qualified project to participate and hope that
the project will succeed.
1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2022, 05:31:36 AM

Lillard won't win a championship even if he surrounds himself with good role players, he needs a superstar to play with him and I think Durant would be a nice pair for Lillard as IMO Lillard is better than Irving in terms of relationship with his teammates.

Yes, if Blazers can bring KD the chance of winning a title is good, but it will be a long talk and offers from both teams.

Lillard can't do it even Blazers will surround him with good role players unless a superstar who also have a same caliber as him
who can really make a big impact.

You guys are looking too much for Kevin Durant. KD + Lillard is not a good combination. They both have the same style and do you think Lillard will allow himself to be the number 2 of the Blazers to give way for Durant? That is not going to happen so don't expect Durant is the missing link for Blazers to become a champion.

Blazers are done for. If Lillard wants to feel the experience of being a champion, he should go to another team and not wait for the superstar to come at his team.

That's the only way and I'm totally sure about that.

You said it right, and that's the reason why I say "if" and also I said good chance not concluding that they will win

a title together. I see your point and I don't have any doubt about Lillard moving to another championship caliber team if he
really aiming to win a title before ending his career.

He's not getting any younger and those injuries will affect his capabilities, but again, no one knows what will be his
future plan it's either staying loyal and be the Alpha or trying a different direction.
1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: friendly and profitable board for beginners, have you realized it? on: June 27, 2022, 04:46:00 AM

It is always good to reach a conclusion regarding one's own prediction, because it is the argument that one has about a sport or game, this without seeing any news or prediction, when one sees any news or prediction, if there is no security what one thinks can probably be changed and that's the bad thing, I think that when making our own prediction or something similar it is good to see what other options the other players give and try to see how they thought, and if so If we are wrong with our prediction, the important thing is to realize why it was lost and why our vision failed. This is something very common, the important thing is to be able to know why it was lost and this is how you learn more.

Once you master that kind of mindset, adjustment can be done and you will learn more about the sport.

It will give you a good edge when picking your next bet, realizing how those who shared their predictions coming to conclusion
and let you use it as a basis.

Learning from one mistake can avoid you to keep losing your money. You need to work and not just blindly follow. There's
always space to improve your chance of winning your bet.

Too early to fall from that speculation or rumors about KD's departure, there are many other prospects and trades that may
happen before and on the season start.
