1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: April 25, 2017, 11:45:46 PM
I sometimes use my bitcoin for doing online shopping. There are some e commerce companies that accept bitcoin. Sometimes i use it for doing mobile recharge. But I try not to spend my bitcoin. I prefer it as an investment.
I use bitcoin to buy game. It is very convenient and I am happy that Steam has already accepted Bitcoin for many years. I hope that other gaming platform will start accepting this awesome coin
steam accepting bitcoin is a bold move yet the wisest, can't thinking more about the better result of steam acceptance toward bitcoin.
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest way to convert money into BTC? on: April 25, 2017, 11:44:16 PM
I think this time making money become bitcoin is no longer a very difficult thing. currently very much exchangers reliable as localbitcoin, even today, very many people trusted in facebook, which opened currency exchange services to bitcoin, and bitcoin to cash. Well, all of them will you find if you look for it.
Yeah if you do not really believe in buying in personal people, you can buy bitcoin in exchange. But of course you will be charged a little fee when buying and deposit

i think that buying in personal also will be charged with some fee just like in exchange company, but buying or selling in personal will be covenient and more fast.
1523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: April 25, 2017, 11:37:02 PM
Why not both ? S payment system and an asset. An asset because it's like gold and goes up in value. Unlike good a currency too. That can be used to directly ourchase things. Bitcoin is so much more then merely a currency and asset.
I agree that. Bitcoin can be both money and investment. It is a good place for investors to keep there money and save it and wait for the price to go up. There is no inflation in Bitcoin and I can guarantee that the prices will always go up
"there's no inflation in bitcoin" said peasant who can't read the price chart and spreading bullshit with his lack of knowledge for the sake of spammy post, legend says. Or probably, you don't even know what's inflation do you?
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the value of 1 Bitcoin when you first mined/purchased? on: April 25, 2017, 11:34:58 PM
it's about $300 bruh, just figured out bitcoin and still thinking that it's not worth it my time, but the fact told me the opposite, kinda pissed off at the end.
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 24, 2017, 11:18:25 AM
This will increase the price of coins, but you need to improve the system so that there are no failures due to a huge number of transactions.
I agree. And I think that the bitcoin blockchain system can never maintain a huge number of transaction daily if the whole world starts using Bitcoin. There will be another altcoin strong enough to sweep Bitcoin away

Well currently it's fair to say that but what if there's a solution for a possible change in block size which will be agreed by all ? That's why I hate conclusive statements because nobody knows tomorrow.

If you think the whole world will use it, I'm sure that they will try to catch up to to the furthest development for of the bitcoin project. People all over the world, programmers, developers etc will combine all knowledge to make an extraordinary update for bitcoin. Why would the whole world use a limited blockchain system?  Wink

Is the project bitcoin missed something. It seems to me that this system is developing steadily and systematically. Yes, there are some problems, but they can still be solved. I'm talking about a long confirmation of transactions
then why the problem hasn't been solved yet? the long confirmation problem have been there from a long time ago and it's still unsolved
1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: April 24, 2017, 11:11:00 AM
Bitcoin is supposed to do both but at the moment bitcoin is behaving a lot closer to gold than to cash, also bitcoin has a big weakness compared to cash it is not truly anonymous and that hurts it is usage since if you want to be anonymous you need to use tumbling services.
Cash is anonymous only in p2p environment. So you are going to tell me that you are not using any 3rd party service to process your fiat payments?
You don't have a bank account, you receive your wage directly from your employer in cash form, and no one keeps tabs how much you earn?
Bitcoin was pseudonymous at best, if you want full privacy there are better altcoins (Zcash, Monero) dedicated to keep your payments confidential.
but in p2p environment, the anonimity of cash is absolute unlike bitcoin just pseudonymous everywhere, all can be traced, it's like we're leaving fingerprints
1527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: less wild fluctuation? is bitcoin bemome more mature? on: April 24, 2017, 11:08:23 AM
i think the market cap is now bigger and it's hard for someone to pump or dump with their bitcoin even if they're rich, unlike few years ago
1528  Economy / Economics / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto should be richer than Bill Gates. on: April 24, 2017, 10:50:33 AM
We all know Bill Gates the owner of microsoft is the most richest man in the world. Total wealth of $80 Billion US dollars. While satoshi nakamoto the owner and founder of bitcoin only have $1 billion US dollars, Why he cant just generate indefinite amount of bitcoins for him and exchange it to real cash, right? Any thoughts?

Hhahaha , this can't be real....

The moment Satoshi would do this (the problem is that he won't quite be able to do it, but let's forget about it) the value of bitcoins would plummet to...guess what 0.
This is the basic selling point of bitcoin , limited supply.

Once we mess with this it's just like printing fiat

Right now top miners are keeping silence on this matter

But what we can do if they decide that the time has come to lift the bar? Bitcoin will certainly crash on this rumor alone, but then they will certainly backpedal on this issue. After a few iterations of this process people will get used to the frictions as well as be ready to accept the changes and not give a fuck anymore about Bitcoin cap or whether it remains the same. As the proverb goes, a little can go a long way while small strokes fell great oaks
then, what is the exact reason of satoshi not moving his bitcoin even a cent worth of bitcoin, a little movement could affect the whole crypto world?
1529  Economy / Economics / Re: where should i invest my 0.5 btc ? on: April 24, 2017, 10:48:07 AM
If I had that amount of money I would invest it on casinos or gambling sites. Investing in gambling sites would give you a high profit. Since many gamblers are losing in every each day they get a high profit there if you invest your money to them it is not far from you to get a high profit.
Investing in any casino would be nice and profitable but it takes time to grow so you should know what investment is it, then if you have this money you can also invest in any altcoin that have potentialy to grow like in ICO that would be succesfull to launced, i see that "ESCUDO" can be succesful ICO
investment in casino grow like human, really need  time but the result is not obvious because it is basically gambling, not some obvious shit
1530  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: April 24, 2017, 10:45:25 AM
I don't think that PayPal is a scam. Just because there are cases that caused you discomfort, doesn't mean that they are doing nothing about it. (I'm not here to side with PayPal) It's just that I have used PayPal with no problems at all, and I think it's credible because they have been operating for a long time and they want to maintain it that way.
paypal is a company under USA regulation and saying paypal scam without obvious proof simply reflect the intelligence of the speaker, some people just too dumb to realize this
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: April 24, 2017, 10:29:31 AM
Actually both are real money if you ask me, it's just that bitcoin has a good value in the market campared to fiat currency
Bitcoin is decentralized and more secured with it's anonymity.

The only problem that bitcoin is not yet legalized in many countries so you can't use it as a direct payment for goods and services.
I agree with you that they are both real money and the only difference is being centralized and decentralized and also being physical versus virtual and aside from that, it is just a small differences. Bitcoin and fiat is created with a very different features and use and fiat was the first currency and bitcoin is just an additional but they are still real money because we can spend both of them.
that is right it's very obvious answer and people keep questioning the same, should this forum provide frequently asked question including this stupid endless question? i think yes
1532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 24, 2017, 10:25:52 AM
I think no altcoin have a chance against bitcoin but collectively they can be a counterbalance which is only wright.

altcoin to balance the crypto world that does make sense and people keep spreading hate towards alt, just in bitcoin discussion, a little part of this forum
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: April 24, 2017, 10:21:39 AM
Right now, Bitcoin is one of the riskiest type of investments available. Here is my wild guess about its future prospects:

25% chance that Bitcoin will become worthless by 2020.
50% chance that the exchange rates will remain in the range of $1,000 to $5,000 by 2020.
25% chance that the exchange rates will top $5,000 by 2020.

In short, the chances that your investment will become worthless is much higher with Bitcoin (25%), when compared to the other options such as equities (5% to 10%) or treasury bonds (<2%).
where you get the data from?  i think that it's not reliable enough to be trusted unless you have good source of this percentage
1534  Economy / Services / Re: Wear My Signature [Full Member- Legendary] on: April 24, 2017, 10:17:15 AM
What campaign? My signature is simply so are the conditions. I dont make anyone apply. If you are fine with the prices and the conditions send me a PM with your adress

1535  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Africa on: April 23, 2017, 09:12:25 AM
Hope this will give me a clear understanding of the direction that Africa should take in embracing Bitcoin. If the answer is positive will inquire about how Africa can adopt cryptocurrency.

If the africans have enough computers and smartphones and are educated enough to write-yes,Africa can embrace bitcoin.I think that the African countries don`t produce enough electricity for their population despite all their resources. There is a lot of potential.
Do you think computers/smart phone and knowledge about bitcoin/Internet will be that much challenging things to reach Africa ? I do not think so. Technological advancements will reach every part of this world over time and Africa will be adopting bitcoin in upcoming future. Compared to the rest of world, some parts of Africa might be adopting bitcoin in slower pace but they will do it definitely.

The human will prefer comfort zone all the times. In this highly communication developed era can expect any part of this world will be coming forward, competitive in any technical field. So, Africa cannot be an exception because finding comfort is basic human nature.
we're not finding comfort, you're talking shit without knowing the circumstance there, you maybe don't even know what you're talking, without resources such as computers and internet connection there's no way they could access bitcoin
technology advancements will reach part of africa but really slow, the tribes there barely know what is electrity, if you don't agree, prove your statement
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoin trading bots are profitable? on: April 23, 2017, 08:59:41 AM
For certain strategy to profit, bot would be better at it because they will always be the first one who see an event and trigger

Compare to human which we don't sit infront of pc 24 hour all day long

For Profit Flip, bots are good at it Smiley

Yet, of course bot is not human, they don't have emotions and so but they do sometime make mistake
bots never make mistake, the human does, the bots just execute the duty given, it's all depend on the human that operate the bot, if the bots are making mistake it's right to blame the human
that's why when using bots, you need competent human that could operate the bots perfectly
1537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1BTC to spent in trading what coins will you invest on: April 23, 2017, 08:56:35 AM
taas of course, it's already have 4000 bitcoin from many people and it's a signal that the coin will be success, people see it and then they invest, unlike other coin with low amount of bitcoin invested into their ico, the future is uncertain for those
1538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: April 23, 2017, 08:50:29 AM
In altcoin trading,is day trading profitable or trading on a long term basis?
Altcoin market is highly volatile. So only day trading would be profitable in altcoins and if trading in altcoins is done on a long term basis, then it will not be profitable as many coins would disappear in certain duration of time and the trader may end with loss.
that's right, altcoin is really volatile because it have little volume really different if you compare to bitcoin, bitcoin have billion dollars volume while altcoin only just few thousand dollars volume
1539  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: April 23, 2017, 08:46:24 AM
most people that keep there bit coin for long do it for trading speculations, they take time to observe the pump and dump while saved.
Not all of those that keep bitcoin do it in the hopes it goes up, some do it simply because they believe in the technology of bitcoin, I’m sure there are holders that got their coins on the first days of bitcoin and that are not planning to sell no matter what.
seeing from the fact majority of people holding bitcoin only to get profit in future, maybe there's exist some people who really believe bitcoin but i honestly don't really trust that, everyone purpose is to gain money and that's what motivate them to join the crypto world
1540  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country are you from? Here list THIRTY popular bitcoin countries for trade on: April 23, 2017, 08:43:25 AM
I'm from the philippines and many pilipino's here are using bitcoin just to earn money. I just cannot believe that philippines is on the 31st place and i see many pilipino's here and even my neighbor's are using bitcoin.
probably you see many people use bitcoin because your environment is full of bitcoiners, the rest probably just have low amount of bitcoiners that there's barely transaction be done a week. it's just my opinion, no offense
