801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ICO is a good way to raise money? on: February 25, 2019, 10:55:59 PM
Hello , What do you think about ICO as a way of raising money in the next years? .Specially after all the scam projects we have seen before, like last time  the team of a project called elementh(https://icobench.com/ico/elementh) claimed that they have to quit the project since they did not have enough resources eventhough they raised about 8M USD , and after ICO no single step forward the development of product has been achieved.
They wanna return the money to investors as btc and eth after all this bull market (btc was about 10K usd ).

They are such idiots scammers, have you seen their contract or address if they have raised that amount? it must be proven because how much fund raised can be manipulated by the team. That should be the main concern. I always choosen the right project just like BTT, Zilliqa, QKC and i never get scammed by the scumbag. Man, you should not trust ico bench.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile or card ? on: February 25, 2019, 03:48:51 PM
And will people spend crypto or fiat?
I mean, is it a card like the ones already available where people convert from the app Bitcoin/crypto into fiat and the fiat will top up the actual pre-paid card?

I think that the NFC debit card will be more used, since not everybody have NFC at the phone, or prefer not to use phone's NFC.
But it also depends on the price of the actual plastic card ( + delivery ).

So for our mobile wallet and card it will automatically take the crypto and convert it to say USD, and there are a few routes that can be taken for this, the most reliable and cost effective way will win. Also its just an OTA update (PoS machine connected to network 24/7) ... same as a plugin/addon, no need of having to pitch individual merchants into "signing up" or creating a wallet for them, or needing them to purchase a proprietary additional PoS merchant system like some in development are doing.

And then that will be the role of your token? if you are saying that you are creating POS token and that means if will there a loyalty program in the future? Or something like dividend or staking in the network.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: February 24, 2019, 11:06:36 PM
If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed? But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?
Marketcap is bigger and bigger? And where did you see it? Cryptocurrencies are falling down for about 1 year and money has gone from crypto-market, there are no new investors, no new money in the market!
Now begin to come a new investor. No need to sow panic, many players and tech is not easy now. Wink
It's easy when you can understand it perfectly. The market still not yet finds its best fundamental to support the price to get the bullish trend or this is just another kind of bulltrap that created by the whale.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sign of bull run? on: February 24, 2019, 11:04:24 PM
This is only a moment, proven. Now back to $ 3k and $ 140

Name
Bitcoin
Ethereum
Market Cap
$67,367,705,441
$14,781,215,718
Price
$3,837.28
$140.78
Volume (24h)
$10,641,042,626
$5,822,241,081
Change (24h)
-7.16%
-10.79%
Or even less than it, but there was a chance if both of these coins can create a bounce again, i see nothing bad news to create this bearish market. Just curious why this was happening while there was no really bad news on the market.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft Stratis service supports ICOs on: February 24, 2019, 10:59:29 PM
It looks like Microsoft has a service to help ICO projects dristribute their coins.  Good news all around for the crypto industry.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/microsoft-wants-help-ico-success-084840671.html
WOW!!! this is pretty neat and I did not see this coming

Code:
Microsoft Azure, a cloud computing service created by Microsoft, recently listed Stratis in its products’ section. The platform, created by London-based Stratis Group, offers a web-based application that enables initial coin offering projects to manage token distribution. It facilitates a secure and flexible payment route that participants use to purchase ICO tokens ahead of the initial allocation. They pay with either Bitcoin or Strat, Stratis’ native token.
Especially for stratis but how about the security to prevent the scammer to use its service? Will there a verification process to use that platform ?
The stratis native token will be very useful and this platform has created a real partnership with microsoft.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we close that chapter now and move on? on: February 19, 2019, 08:54:18 AM
~snip
They are stupid enough to say bitcoin is zero. Maybe today those who leave bitcoin will regret it. Market has started to improve, a little more to be patient. Ignore those who don't believe in bitcoin, they try to attract us to the bad actions they take and become losers
I hope so, there is so many people have called crypto will die in this year. They must regret it and some people were selling their portfolios can't participate in the bullish market again.
The time will tell us about that.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KuCoin's Newly Updated Platform (Zero Trading Fees) on: February 19, 2019, 08:40:15 AM
Have you heard of the KuCoin's newly updated platform? It is now available and actually, I'm so excited to use it! Cheesy I've also heard that trading fees for all trading pairs will be free for three days. Such a great opportunity for me and for all its users, right?  Wink

You can visit this link https://twitter.com/kucoincom/status/1097647423088779270 to know more about their announcement! Smiley

That's for three days and that's very short, kucoin has been loosing a lot of demand from its old platform. I dont' think if this promotion will encourage a lot of people to use it again dude.
I have seen that yesterday.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange ask for KYC? on: February 18, 2019, 02:05:56 PM
I've been tested and used different trading/exchange platform and most of them have a Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 verification. Below are the things in each level (Not all of these are accurate and some of this is made up just to make an example)

Level 1: You need to give your full name (Cannot be changed) and you will be able to withdraw not more than 1 BTC
Level 2: KYC document like passport, drivers license, etc. and you will be able to withdraw not more than 10 BTC
Level 3: A picture of you holding your ID and you will be able to withdraw more than 10 BTC

Here are just examples I've made, you can use any exchange with only finishing the Level 1 verification and you can use any name you want but this is only for traders or investors that doesn't have big investments if your investments exceeds 1BTC then you need to complete the level 2 verification.
Thanks for information. If i know correctly address verification is required in order to be able withdraw more than 10 BTC. Driver license itself is not enough for passing Tier 2 level.
The rules will be different in any exchange site. Some exchange sites may ask your email and you must verify your email to able withdraw more than 2 BTC (Most of exchange sites are implementing this rule)
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your general view on ICO's projects this year? on: February 18, 2019, 02:02:22 PM
As some of you know already, I am partaking with an upcoming ICO project and it is very important to me and my team to know how to get the best out of it. My question is, what is your general view on ICO's in 2019. This will help us better understand where to bring extra clarity. Thank you!
Look at the market and be a trusted guy, that's what we are looking for.  Try to prove yourself if you are a competence developer that can be trusted. Most of people are looking for the competence developer which fully understand about the law. So many people are putting their attention to this area.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any exchanges willing to list a non-Blockchain experimental coin? on: February 18, 2019, 01:58:58 PM
What do you mean a non-blockchain coin? Can you elaborate a little bit? There are many coins that have their own protocols, principles, but they also have their own blockchains, or at least some kind of alternative ledger. For example, take a look at the directed acyclic graph DAG coins:

https://www.reddit.com/r/DAGcoins/comments/7utbgx/list_of_known_dag_coins/

And all of these coins are already present in a number of exchanges.
DAG is a non blockchain ecosystem and that is what OP's looking for. DAG used the different principle than blockchain and it can be catagorized as a new system with the new principle that created by the byteball platform as the first platform that created DAG ecosystem. Nano and IOTA were inlcuding on this area too.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the era change from ICO (Initial Coin Offering) to STO (Security Token O) on: February 15, 2019, 08:59:40 AM
Both crowdfunding models will continue to exist and operate. The question is more where the public sentiment will go, and I believe the STOs will be getting much more attention in the future. ICOs won't be extinct, though.
Not so many people are interested in STO, even some people said if that was fully regulated but the team can't even prove it. If this based on someone's opinion and that can't be a strong reason. ICO is still exist and recently there was a scam STO.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Let's talk about this Bittorrent situation $BTT on: February 14, 2019, 11:40:44 PM
Tell me something, where the hell will the BTT token used? To "pay" for "pirated" downloads?
No. It's purpose to eliminate extra fee (publisher's profit part) between user and creator.
Due to wide BTT adoption anyone could sell their music/video/pix sets/software/or anything else DIRECTLY to customer, through bittorent network.
As far as I got it... Huh
But it's still not clear about the what will be the usefulness of BTT token itself. Bittorrent is widely known as a software to download the unlicensed software.
Just try to make sure this token will make the payment become so easy. But it's impossible to do that.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: February 14, 2019, 11:37:30 PM
The only reason I feel in love with cryptocurrency is because I love making money in large amounts, which I think cryptocurrency can help but hasn't still. I remember the very moment a friend of mine told me he had an idea of how to earn coin free I'm so happy, having idea of what bitcoin is by then I believe you will fall in love with crypto.
If you are only interested in making money out of cryptocurrencies you are going to have a hard time getting the success you are looking for, if you make a research about the people that are the most successful in their activities you will see that those people are very passionate about what they do, many are not even thinking about the money they can make, they just enjoy what they do, so if you do not change your attitude you will have problems realizing your goals.
I totally agree with you. Only those who believed in Bitcoin really became independent people. They have been holding Bitcoin in their portfolio since 2011-2014. And they will keep the coins for many more years. They are not afraid of market correction.
The bitcoin's mass adoption is about to begin. We are in here caused by in the crypto even a little shrimp can participate in various ways of investment to get profit. In stock market we must become an accreditor investors to do that.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: February 14, 2019, 11:33:58 PM
The way to get passive income from crypto is easy but the return is small, safe way to earn passive income from crypto is by join lending in margin trading platform or buy POS coin and staking it. Dont join any lending coin just like Bitconnect because that only use ponzi scheme.
That depends on where is you are putting your money, remember each MN or POS coin has the different ROI and you should choose the one which give you a lot of ROI and big liquidity and then you can get your money anytime.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: predictions of 2019 on: February 14, 2019, 11:32:31 PM
For 2019, I give only a positive forecast.
The cryptocurrency market, even in the conditions of its volatility, will develop and I hope by the end of the year, investments in promising coins will give a good profit.
I also think that the prices for cryptocurrencies are very low, and in 2019 we will see the growth of the entire market by 50-100%
I really want to believe in such predictions. I also think that the cryptocurrency market is now at the lowest point. Most likely growth will begin in the near future.
It will but it needs process, to build a big FOMO needs a lot of time and then it must be supported by a lot of good news to build a good fundamental that can affect the market dude. This will become a true story when you are seeing the last bullish trend.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin or Beam? What is the good entry price? on: January 21, 2019, 11:33:38 AM
Hi guys, recently these 2 coins were listed on exchanges and we can finally buy them. But when to buy? A lot of hype, so I think the price is still high, even the market cap is only 1 million USD.
Please tell me your suggestions.
You can buy after it has already listed on exchange site, i guess there will be a huge dump but it will be following by a huge pump. That based on my experience. But remember you should consider about the daily trade volume of such coin.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 40$ in 1-2 weeks on: January 21, 2019, 11:28:05 AM
Hope that ETH will return to the price I have seen in 2017. In order for me to redeem my mistake, I will buy all the money I have to hold ETH.
But this is a risk that today can seriously reduce the deposits of your wallet. I think that today we need to try to invest in a decentralized way, because today there are great opportunities for this.
Actually must better to invest some more altcoins now or find a potential altcoins that same as etherium. But etherium for now are now totally down the price but it was not the first time we saw etherium drop that much.

It happened a lot of times before. Eth was even priced at 85usd just roughly a month ago. Though i'm not sure if it'll drop that low to get below 80usd. Eth has a big following dude and this coin will keep afloat no matter how many times it goes down.
And don't forget if ethereum will move into the POS system and that makes sense if the price of ethereum will remain above $100. A big community with a solid team and this must get a big value. waiting for POS and then there was no reason for inflation to decrease the price of ethereum.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Emerging Markets Trigger A Bitcoin Comeback in 2019? on: January 20, 2019, 11:40:02 AM
I think this was just promotion, but honestly is an interesting article. We dont have this problem in my country , but i can udnerstand the desesperation/frustration of another coountries with fiinantial problems, with so high inflation , like Venezuela.. there, cryptos are a MUST, as they are the only way of not loosing your money...
Most of people in venezuela are using bitcoin and ethereum to earn the dollar to keep their lives. This is the only possibility remember when you are migrating from your country to other that doesn't mean if you will get a better job or filled up your life easily.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC should be for big whales on: January 20, 2019, 11:37:25 AM
I'm here today to drop my own point about how KYC should be use
- KYC requirement for bounties and airdrops is so unreasonable ,KYC implementation is no doubt a good idea but it should be forced only on big investors that wants to buy large amount of a token either From Exchanges
- there should be limit for KYC requirements e.g like if an investor wants to buy 10,000$ worths of tokens upward then he or she must go through KYC ,just saying

Agree with you bro, but don't think we can affect this process somehow Sad
Crypto anonymity has became a myth now, hope this won't go too far and we won't be forced to send stool samples to get airdrops in a couple of years  Grin
If you are still using centralized exchange site and you should not hope for anonymity. Centralized exchange sites are fully regulated and if you wanna be anonymous and then just use DEX as a way to achieve it but sadly it lacks of volume.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme but you can get rich if you provide value on: January 20, 2019, 11:35:46 AM
The basics of cryptocurrencies and blockchain is to revolutionize the world's financial system to one in which gives power to the community and is not controlled by any government.
Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme but coincidentally, when there is any company or project that provides value in the world, its investors are bound to make profit.
The same can be said for cryptocurrencies. When you provide value as a cryptocurrency expert or invest in a project that proves value, you will definitely make some profit. That is just the way it is.
It's a little bit wrong, you can't provide the value but in fact that the value can be brought from the development of crypto itself. Remember about the momentum can be built when there was a solid development and a good product as a result.
