Trust me, it will get worse, and you will have withdrawal symptoms from any extended breaks that you take. I couldn't translate this. Is this a threat? No. It means you're going to like this forum more and more. At some point you'll miss Bitcointalk when you don't visit it for a while.

It looks like you're using data from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=stats, but is this page still updated? The number of topics for instance is 4 million lower than the current highest topic number. Many topics have indeed been deleted, but the post count is barely lower than the current highest post number while many posts have been deleted too. Could it be deleted topics are really gone, while deleted posts are still counted as they're still stored in a hidden section?

My question is: should i report those posts again as they are still there, or they will be eventually deleted and its just some kind of delay? Once the report is handled, I don't think Mods will revisit it. But maybe the Newbies got a temporary ban instead of deleting the posts. Or the Mod just overlooked a few posts, most posts in that topic have been deleted: Delete reply: Re: [ANN][WSLT] White Stripe Lottery | Changing the view of gambling in topic #5234254 by member The username on trust list seems updated but on the side of Merit history it has not yet been updated Thanks, I've updated my file. It should be fixed at the next update. I changed another username too, I didn't think about those when I updated my Trust list usernames. There might be a few more that are outdated.

I think the trust feedback and the trust flags seem to be the same. So what's the need to have this two things? What's the differences between trust feedback and trust flags? See Trust flags. One of the differences is that Trust Flags show a warning (in some cases) for visitors without an account, while feedback is only visible after you login.

That is no doubt a good solution but for that bounty manager have to have the knowledge of scraping which is easy for you. Not every bounty manager have that skill. It's not always possible to use paid work because I think most of the so called bounty managers accept the shit tokens. How will they pay for? However, I agree what you said. The unnecessary bump should not be allowed here. Not having the skills to do their job shouldn't be an excluse to spam the forum. If the forum would no longer allow this spam, they could either learn how to do it, do it manually, or find a job that falls within their capabilities. None of that should be a reason to spam the forum.

@LoyceV with request, from your database is it possible to list in which sections/sub-sections an account has posted in? For me it is more interesting to see if an account has posted in 2-3 different local sections, easier to spot account buyers.
I don't use a database (because I still don't know how to do this), so I didn't keep data on which board a post was made in. I could list them like in this topic, but only for selected users. so it will take more time to do for all users that is likely what you asked for. He even does not want to do such big scrape too often. I'm downloading all posts, which started in February and will be done around August. This isn't something I want to do too often indeed ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Amazon reinstated my account again and my order processed just fine this time. Amazon also told me that my bank apparently held a £0.00 transaction for a day before processing it... If all is good again, can you change the topic title to reflect this? There's no need to make Bitrefill look bad (especially if someone only reads the title) if the problem was resolved.

The only way to stop this abuse is by having bounty ty hunters actually pm the manager verifying they are joining the bounty. The proof of authentification does not work anymore.
At least by having each member pm you to claim a spot in the bounty, you know you're getting the real account in the bounty and paying the correct person. An easy solution, which I've been suggesting for quite a while, would be to scrape the ETH-address from the Location field in the user's Bitcointalk profile. Or a Bitcoin address if needed. The "proof of authentication" is unnecessary bump spam. I still don't really get why this is even allowed. Scraping an address from a user's profile can even be done by Google Sheets, and this would ensure nobody can get paid to an address not used by a certain Bitcointalk account. Its alot of extra work for managers so I doubt that most will adopt the correct way of doing things. Even worse: it's counter productive for them. More spam means more earnings, and fighting spam means spammers start complaining while the real participants for some reason don't complain about losing their fair share. From what I've seen for the few bounty campaigns I've managed, about 1% of the contributions are what I call quality. The rest is useless spam and/or plagiarism. Accounts of criminals against other members' profiles. I think you're wasting your time hunting down and tagging spamming Newbies. I have no doubt there are at least tens of thousands of accounts like that, and it takes zero effort for them to create many new accounts.

If he is is DT1 and he has negative ratio, he is demoted to DT2 and so on. That's incorrect. If someone on DT1 has more exclusions than inclusions from other DT1-members, he's effectively excluded from DT1. That means his feedback is no longer shown by default and he can't vote for other DT2-members, but he can still vote for (or against) other DT1-members. The only way to get "demoted" from DT2 is by losing the monthly "lottery" (like me this month), or by being blacklisted by theymos (this could be at your own request or involuntary).

I am not sure what you mean by "DT2 strength 10." I did not see that information in the linked page that you provided. Am I supposed to click on one of the links within BPIP to see DT2 strength?
It seems that I have heard of the concept of DT strength before, but I cannot really remember what it means. Hover your mouse above "DT2" on BPIP. Or see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;dt, where it shows "TMAN (10)". DT strength is the number of DT1 inclusions minus DT1 exclusions, which means it's a measure for how many users are needed to toggle a user's DT-status.

Assuming they are basically resellers from Amazon itself and the reason his account was frozen has nothing to do with Bitrefill's cards (e.g the user was flagged for a totally unrelated reason), why should they just give $1k (losing them) if they are not getting that money back from Amazon?
People could abuse that by buying a card from them, using in an illegal or against-the-ToS way and if they get banned by Amazon, they just get the money back. No risk for them, all risk for the reseller.
You make some compelling arguments. I was thinking of a case in which a honest user gets flagged by mistake, after which Amazon refuses to fix it. But your scenario sounds much more likely. I'm not saying OP is dishonest, but I'm curious to see how this unfolds.

The problem with his absence is that Tman is a dt member and when one of his feedbacks need to be revised, there is no one who can help but Tman himself. -snip- Yes, I forget this, about TMAN's position as a member of DT2 who does its job to filter and prevent scams that occur in the forum. DT members must always be active to monitor the state of the forum. If TMAN continues to be inactive and not doing its job, it is likely that TMAN will be removed from the DT2 list. I am pretty sure that there are no attendance requirements in regards to DT2, but there are attendance requirements in regards to DT1, so you seem to be mixing up DT2 requirements as if they were the same as DT1 requirements, no? For the feedback to show up on DefaultTrust, it doesn't matter if TMAN is on DT1 or DT2, and with his current DT2 strength 10, he won't drop out any time soon.

This just says what they already told you: “Should the third-party provider fail to correct the issue and agrees to refund us, we will then refund the Customer”. I'm pretty sure that condition won't hold up where I live. The seller is your main point of contact, and any problems should be resolved by the seller. Bitrefill operates under the laws of Sweden. I have no idea whether or not this condition is allowed under Swedish law, but I find this a very bad condition. It means Bitrefill won't take responsibility for the products they sell.

I don't post a lot, so I have no merit - evidently I don't ever do anything merit worthy? No. You're clearly not a spammer, nor a shitposter. Merit wasn't designed to stop "people like you" from ranking up, and yet, it happened. Please be more active, Bitcointalk needs real users! I've done "just Merit source things" on your account ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You'll need 120 Activity to be Full Member, so apart from the Merit needed, you'll need to be more active to "earn" an avatar.

I doubt that the intention of this thread was for you or any other member to advertise/promote various launchings so that you can make more money... I can't read the posts, but I don't really consider posting here as promoting a service. I don't expect people who read this topic to fall for that. Merit sources should be experienced enough to decide on their own.

Each one of these instances I've noticed it's the end of the line where (for whatever reason) there is not DT1/DT2 logo.
My guess is they don't have any DT1-inclusions, so they're not on DT2 at all. Something similar to my previous suggestion not to show those, as they're "irrelevant" to DefaultTrust.
