This thread is popping up all the time...

The first post was ... so empty and off-topic ... was there even a first post Huh

not following,  but could this thread have turned into anything else than an off-topic chatroom ?

IF so please move to OFF-TOPIC sub.

This thread is a continuous analysis of the thesis that funds will flow into bitcoin from gold and stocks, as well as speculation as to how those assets will perform.

What about OP rename the title ?

Just put it on ignore.

Erik,

thanks for taking the time to do this.  it really was excellent.

i do hope you reactivate your blog for Bitcoin related writings.  i think you'd develop a large following and it would be good to hear regularly from someone who can articulate the community's feelings on these matters.

This includes very convincing fake passports and utility bills used to open bank accounts and Dwolla accounts, and transferring money to Bitcoin companies.

do u mean they're transferring stolen USD's to exchanges to buy Bitcoin?

indeed i did.  i was not short the metals or the miners btwn then and late February as pm's usually follow a stock rally as i called down at 10/6/11 as well.  that should be pretty obvious to anyone who trades stocks and who understands how the USD plays into all this.

i only reinstituted my shorts in late February as i think we've entered the next major leg down.

btw, my calls last for months at a time so it should be very obvious if i'm wrong.  i don't flip flop.
Oh, ok.
I though when you said "next down leg" then the previous leg was somewhere within the time span of this "Gold collapsing" topic.
But now I understand that the "next one" is still the same one that we have been going through since you started the topic...
Now it all makes sense Tongue
Though, don't you feel a bit like Sisyphus announcing the same leg over and over again, every time gold goes down a few bucks?

actually you're probably right.  i knew at the beginning of the thread that this topic might bring out the haters so i will stop calling every sub cycle within the larger cycle downleg that i see.  the point is that it is moving in my direction.  i'm happy with that.
15294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin up. on: April 13, 2012, 04:32:38 PM
next down leg in gold and silver has begun.
Oh shit.
Then I obviously missed your announcement about when the previous down leg was ending.
I knew I should have bought that subscription. Smiley

you mean you missed it?   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=35956.msg560220#msg560220
Have you just given me a link to your post from 190 days ago?
Statistically speaking, even a person that is so much wrong can be right from time to time - it's only a matter of how often he tries to be right. Smiley
And having read through this topic I can tell already that you are a kind of person that tries very often.

15298  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: April 13, 2012, 03:43:11 PM
i have a question for you.

if i import one private key with 100 BTC into a fresh, new Armory wallet that has no deterministic addresses/keys generated yet and then immediately spend 1 BTC to a vendor, where do the remaining 99 BTC go?  i think you said there were some keys pre-generated?  if so how many and when would they run out before i have to generate more?

i actually think i remember you discussing this a way back.
