15301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: February 04, 2015, 07:03:59 AM
i think it's time to accept and use other projects like ripple, stellar, open transactions, etc...  to complement BTC and start doing transactions off the blockchain.
15302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM: [AM] AeroME | formerly [AERO] Aero | 100% PoS | Anonymous Sending on: February 04, 2015, 06:08:44 AM
instead of whining, why not try to actually learn to trade and make some btc out of these moves?  the beauty of cryptocurrency trading is you can do it with very little capital because fees are low and it's easy to move funds from point A to point B.
15303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AltCoin with the fastest confirmation times? on: February 04, 2015, 05:35:12 AM
Any benefit for having the fastest confirmation times?

If you want to be able to use it for day to day purchases you need really fast confirmation times otherwise you will have to go through a centralised service like BitPay.

I would say the new DPOS blockchains will offer the fastest reliable confirmations. (The first one BitShares X will offer BitAsset trading, BitUSD, BitGold etc. & you need fast confirmation times to be able to trade.)

that is wrong. ripple is 5 seconds and under.  try it for yourself.

15306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burst Speculation Thread on: February 03, 2015, 05:01:38 AM
bought some burst but nothing crazy big or anything like that.  the volume seems to be looking good right now in the top 9.

15307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Burst Speculation Thread on: February 02, 2015, 02:47:42 PM
Burst is starting to show signs of going supernova at Poloniex.  https://www.poloniex.com/exchange#btc_burst

Not bad for a new coin/project.  But I would like opinions on Burst from people who are experienced in trading and the ones who are familiar on the project.

Would you recommend that people buy into the recent price rise?

Thanks.

This is a must watch for bitcoiners and altcoiners alike...  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8bfTjp6Xw0&app=desktop

Friedrich Hayek would be glad if he's still around.

15315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BurtW arrested on: January 27, 2015, 03:29:35 AM
feds really serious about ordinary (but brilliant) people messing with their monopoly of money.  i say keep making those altcoins.  give the powers that be one giant headache.

this documentary about money and economics is a must watch for bitcoiners and altcoiners...  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8bfTjp6Xw0&app=desktop
15316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / If only Friedrich Hayek was alive today... on: January 27, 2015, 03:23:56 AM
He would definitely love what's going on in the crypto-currency scene.  He was an advocate of the "privatization" of money.  Watch this documentary...

It's a must for bitcoiners and altcoiners alike.
15317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some reasons you think Bitcoin will grow in 2015? on: January 21, 2015, 01:29:07 AM
It grew in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Heck it's growing now.

dude.. don't tell us.  tell her!  Grin
15318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How fast can eMunie go? Heres how fast.... on: January 21, 2015, 01:24:58 AM
... the global transaction processing capability of the eMunie network will be very high indeed, as 10 nodes can process 30-35 tx/s average, and the scalar as the network grows should prove to be near linear, 1000 nodes could in theory process in excess of 20,000 tx/s globally.

That's fantastic! Bitcoin is only 7 tx/s and 20,000 tx/s looks like a VISA network Smiley So.. can I say eMunie is a Bitcoin KILLER and direct competitor of VISA? Cheesy

yes you can. Grin

but we'll see when it officially goes live.
15319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitshares Undervalued by 60 times (60x)? (ARTICLE) on: January 21, 2015, 12:40:08 AM
