15321  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptocorner on: January 17, 2015, 06:45:04 AM
Hello everyone!

We are Cryptocorner. This is a social network site for the crypto enthousiasts! Here we would like to bring everyone together to discuss about crypto currencies! We are still building! So far we have two Faucets. One DOGE and one NLG faucet, we are planning to get some more, like a Bitcoin faucet.
Talk and share your thoughts of your coin here, so that other people can easily see what's going on with your coin! If you want a coin enlisted please contact me or -K- @ www.cryptocorner.nl

Also we do have a nice action, as soon as we hit 250members, we'll give away a mining contract of a 23MH/s Scrypt miner for 120hours!

Kind regards!

Lately , talking about last 2 years, I have been spending a lot of time playing on Pokerstars tables, there's anyone who play there? Share experiences, what do u play or used to play and we can almost improve our game together since,  I consider myself a ver good poker player regardless of my non bankroll managment.

Greetings Shipitbuddy * also Shipitbuddy  on Pokerstars*

I used to play on Pokerstars here in the US till a certain Friday round around back during the [3rd] Bush administration.

So, you're a good player, eh? Have you ever folded pocket aces?
15323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the friday's spooky crazy rumor circulating about bitcoin? on: January 17, 2015, 01:40:35 AM

Here's the first, albeit, perhaps, indirectly, and their spokesperson, to boot:

15324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adam Guerbuez claims some very big news is coming for Bitcoin this friday on: January 16, 2015, 10:37:20 PM
Nobodies ever had anything important to say on twitter in the history of twitter

People who post on twitter are attention whores who think they're important.

People who read twitter posts are braindead morons

I've never heard of the faggot who's claming there's big news for bitcoin

He think he's important and trying to get attention from idiots like the posters ITT

I'm claiming that OP is a faggot.

Hey take it easy there homophobe!!!   Angry

Adam is just a normal guy and wants to be accepted amongst his Bitcoin brethren.

This news announcement has caused him alot of stress and his hair fell out as a result...

I'm pressed for about three quarters time. You happen to have the clef notes version on the upcoming treble before I waltz out the door?

You should stay off the psychedelics. The mushrooms on your pizza maybe off.

Not sure I follow

Chalk it up to Jim just making a joke, with off meaning expired. I just learnt of that term yesterday upon viewing of this dude's videos, figuring it out via how it was just in context: https://www.youtube.com/user/stefbot/

I just thought of some self-proclaimed formidable expect on HamDog giving an 18 minute TED or TEDx Talk on it, all the while the image remains on screen. For ~17 minutes and 50 seconds, the formidable expect starts, then proceeds to talk about himself, informing the audience as to how he became said expect, readying them for the great reveal. Her/his final two words: HamDog is!

Then, the next TED(x) speaker comes to stage and all he does for 18 minutes (sans dialog) is show a myriad HamDog related images, depictions that'll elicit various emotions from the audience. One being young students coloring HamDog. And, HamDog listening to the Gospel Choir at an A.M.E. church. HamDog at a funeral. HamDog at a pep rally. HamDog at some March. The HamDog billboard. Oprah carrying the The Epic Adventure of HamDog book. The HamDog Challenge for some cause. HamDog on the ground with three police officers on him, one of which just tazed him.

Hello fellow miners

I am based in Toronto, Canada and looking for bitcoin miners. I have an excellent opportunity that I want to share personally. Either leave your email address or email me at j.gawade@torontoale.com

I am hoping to see response from genuine personnel as I am seriously building something MEANINGFUL.

Note: I work in beer industry but mining is another hobby so do not get confused with my email id.

So you support the theory that people sold their coins to invest in stocks.

The anti-Alibaba-Effect comes to mind.
15331  Other / Off-topic / Re: Meet Hamdog on: January 16, 2015, 05:35:18 AM
Does anybody find the stories funny? Sorry, but IMO they're made with minimal effort. Main character has a potential though.

agreed...hamdog is cool but he needs good plot adventures.

Seinfeld is to a show about nothing, as HamDog is to no plot needed.

Thank you Gleb...someone who understands Hamdog.

I feel it important to revisit my previous post:

Sure name is catchy as hell. I guess if you sell this idea to some pro comic creators you could make some money OP.

Not only catchy, but simple. In fact, so simple it shouldn't be drawn any other way. The marketing would be just a simply, yet powerful.

Imagine:

- A 256 page book entitled The Epic Adventures of HamDog, with your drawing on the front cover. The first page only consists of "Once upon a time" with the rest and all subsequent pages blank.

- The HamDog calendar. Again, HamDog is on the cover, but the calendar doesn't consist of any dates or years. Just 12 pages of blank squares. When hung, a new image of HamDog is depicted - the same image.

- The HamDog coloring book for kids of all ages. ~24 pages of the same image.

- HamDog for President T-shirts. Or, I Love HamDog.

- If https://twitter.com/hamdog doesn't belong to you, I suggest snatching up OfficialHamDog. Same true for all the other social media sites, for that's all part of the brand. The hard part is already done - the image.
15332  Other / Off-topic / Re: Meet Hamdog on: January 16, 2015, 05:33:52 AM
lol.nice meme

I'm tellin' you, the more comics that the HamDog's creator creates, the more he's destroying the HamDog brand. HamDog must be simple at its core if it's to go viral.

Another case in point, a HamDog billboard depicting ONLY the word HamDog and its image. Let the people who see it have to Google it to see what it's about.

Fabiola I feel like the dying question every male in this thread is asking themselves...are you physically attractive? Rate that on how many guys try hitting on you when you go out with friends.  We know already that intellectually you are attractive since you know a lot about bitcoin and put up with all the testosterone around this forum.

I peg you for an average, somewhat athletic brunette with a decent body from the way you speak, thats just my thought. Honestly guessing, not much ass but nice tits. Not skinny, not overweight, average I think. But you make up for anything lacking with your bubbly and happy personality. Age probably 25-30, you obviously go out with girlfriends but seem mature enough to be past the college or young 20s age. You're too smart to be a blonde and god-forbid I don't think you're a redhead.

Don't take what I'm saying above too seriously at all, I just got back from going to the bars with friends, am a lil drunk and felt like having some fun on this forum before passing out.

HAha you're pretty funny Smiley lol I don't know, because beauty always depends on the beholder. And being hitted on all the time means nothing, some guys would chat ANYONE up, especially if they're drunk, which you probably know from experience haha. But you're actually right about a few things, you're good, or maybe just lucky guesses.
As for my small bottom, well, of course it is tiny compared to Nicky Minaj's, Kardashian's, etc. Seems like anything smaller than theirs nowadays is dismissed as "not much ass" Sad Do you guys even like them that big? Come on, be honest.

What country are you from / living in ? I live in the United States. I take offense to you what you said ma'am about hitting on whoever I see, I've been in a faithful relationship for 2 years and then got cheated on, tonight was honestly the first time I went out to a bar as a single man and I was just trying to have a good time.  Tongue Anyways, when I think of a girl having an ass, I don't like it as big as nicky or the kardashians that TOO MUCH ass. If you have TOO MUCH ass, how can you get most of your dick in the girl when you gotta get past all that ass? I'd rather have a girl with a nice ass I can smack but also massage when trying to make love, but still be able to get all of me in there for the girl's benefit. Getting a huge fake ass is just hurting the girl's chance of orgasming since all that ass can get in the way sometimes.

If I can squeeze your ass and it don't look flat as a pancake, then you have my approval. Personally, I'm a breast guy, this is awful to say but I can't even consider hooking up with someone who is an A cup, I see them as somewhat manly for lacking such, IDK why.

But yeah, last night was fun and I'm just a good read of a character I guess regarding the "good guesses". Often you see a lot of people who look similar and display similar personalities. Smiley

Also people don't go after the hottest girls, if they know they can get any guy they won't try to please you in bed as much. Whereas if you get a girl who truly values you, not fat or anything but a slightly above average girl, they'll show you a great time and be open to doing more kinky stuff (I'm a really kinky guy so thats one thing I hated in my 2 year relationship, she wouldn't do any roleplaying or fun stuff I was used to before I met her, although she was really hot).

/end talk (I talk too much I know)

What really happened last night after you left the bar...

I predict a big drop, then a big bump Roll Eyes

There is going to be a big drop and then a big nothing followed by a run on altcoins.

Altcoins will die.

But, from its ashes...

15338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I would like to propose a thoroughly thought idea. on: January 15, 2015, 11:15:27 PM
Think of the Sarutobi little game where there is a common pot for the players.

Now, think up a social network where there is a common pot for the users.

what will it be?
We are all making requests that are voted up and voted down. No commercial use.

how do a request cashes out?
When it gathers some specific upvotes, proceeds to the reviewing department. Then, volunteers in all the different cultures and languages, who might be paid a small contribution for their one or two day circular services, cooperate to work and serve the community in order to review and discuss about the future of each promoted to the next level request and about securitty issues. There will also be news feeding and categorized IRC chat embedded in the network (subcategorized topics of real-time stuff, material requests, cooperative topics etc).

Bitcoin economy is promoted
You might propably have one single profile in the blockchain. You will transact with Bitcoin. You will spend Bitcoin with other people. You will contribute Bitcoin to the common pot. No more fiat currencies!

* In order to be reliable you should propably provide details about your life and yourself (link social media acounts).

I believe that there are two kinds of uncertainty in our lives.
Uncertainty from economy and Uncertainty from philosophy

So, the more that's known about you, the more your particular coinage on-hand is worth, eh?

Funny thing is ...

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2015/01/14/markets-are-freaking-out-for-no-good-reason/?tid=hybrid_sidebar_alt1_strip_2

other markets freaking out for "no good reason", but according to media, bitcoin dropping because "it's wrong, it's bad, it's only for drugs, it's totally expected" yadda yadda yadda.

and it is full of hackers, scammers and dreamers.
